Education plays a central role in community development and the enhancement of human resources. In the rapidly evolving digital era, information and communication technology has significantly transformed the education landscape. Technology has become an integral part of the teaching and learning process in schools, bringing both challenges and significant opportunities. Particularly at the Junior High School (SMP) level, subjects like Mathematics, Natural Sciences (IPA), Physics, and Chemistry play a central role in shaping students' foundational knowledge. However, students often have varying levels of understanding and different learning styles. This poses a challenge for teachers trying to meet the diverse learning needs of their students. The use of the same linear teaching methods for all students is often ineffective in such a context. In this research, we employed a literature review methodology. This approach helps summarize and synthesize existing knowledge on the role of technology in enhancing student motivation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. By analyzing trends, findings, and patterns emerging from related literature, we can establish a strong knowledge base for this research. The adaptive learning approach, leveraging technology, has emerged as an intriguing solution. This approach allows for real-time analysis of student learning data and the adjustment of content, material, or teaching methods to suit individual needs. The research highlights the primary benefits of adaptive learning, such as personalized content adjustment, enhanced student motivation, more efficient monitoring and evaluation, and time savings in achieving better understanding. However, the research also acknowledges several challenges, including uneven technology infrastructure, the need for teacher training, and student data protection. Nevertheless, this research emphasizes the importance of adaptive learning in the context of STEM education at the SMP level in the digital era, while recognizing the need for further research to explore the potential of technology in enhancing the quality of education at this level.

Children in the perspective of the Catholic faith in general are the future of the Church. Because, children are part of grace, faith, hope, and love. The social personality in question is the development of character and mentality that supports children to get to know each other. This requires self-transformation as a benchmark for understanding children's social mobility. This research was conducted at SDK Mardiwiyata 2. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection adopted research methods in the form of literature studies or reviewing articles or journals, Church documents, and books available according to the theme. Etymologically, the character comes from the Greek charessein which means to carve. From the perspective of the Catholic faith, the Church views the understanding of the concept of character education from 2 (two) points of view, namely: Faith education based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) and faith education based on the book of canon law (KHK). The findings from this study are that children who are Catholics are dominated by non-Catholic children so through social life it appears that the character of Catholic children is less desirable, so intensive coaching is needed to shape the child's character. The conclusion this of study is the implementation of children's character in the light of the Catholic faith to improve children's character and mental development. The conclusion of this research is evident from the results of various other studies that have been done before.

Poverty is a long-standing problem across countries. Various kinds of efforts to alleviate poverty have been carried out by the government, of course with huge amounts of spending. The collection of funds to the society for social assistance financing can only be done through taxes and zakat. Research on the differences between tax and zakat has been widely conducted, so research on students' views on tax and zakat is needed to find out students' understanding of tax and zakat. This study used descriptive quantitative methods using data collection methods through questionnaire surveys. The results showed that new year college students who chose zakat more effectively or taxes were more effective in terms of poverty alleviation were almost balanced. However, data from BAZNAS and the Ministry of Finance shows that tax has more advantages in the amount of revenue it generates. In fact, several studies have shown empirical evidence that taxes are superior to zakat in terms of poverty alleviation. The results of this study can be used to improve the understanding of zakat and tax as poverty alleviation tools.
