This study investigates locutionary speech acts in self improvement videos on Hawaariyyun's Instagram account. Locutionary speech acts are speech acts that say something directly without other intentions. The subject of this research analysis is the use of locutionary speech acts in the self improvement video uploads of Hawaariyyun's Instagram account. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach as the methodology and pragmatics approach as the theoretical approach. The data source of this research is a fragment of speech on self improvement videos on Hawaariyyun's Instagram account. The data collection techniques in this research are listening technique and note-taking technique. The results of the analysis show that locutionary speech acts are often used by Hawaariyyun in his speech on self-improvement videos on his Instagram account. The results show that there are 31 locutionary speech acts, including 11 locutionary speech acts of news category, 9 locutionary speech acts of question category, and 11 locutionary speech acts of command category. This research can help readers in understanding locutionary speech acts. In addition, it is expected that this research can be useful for other writers as a reference regarding locutionary speech acts.

The analysis of linguistic politeness in a short film about negotiations for class X on the Cinta Bahasa YouTube channel focuses on the analysis of politeness in negotiation activities. The purpose of analyzing linguistic politeness in the short film about class X negotiations is to find, describe, and evaluate the mistake in the dialogues in the videos titled "Short Film on Shop Rental Negotiations", "Land Sale and Purchase Negotiations", "Shop Sale and Purchase Negotiations", "House Sale and Purchase Negotiations", "Short Drama on Renting Rice Fields", "Video of Osim Meeting Negotiations", "Negotiations for the Preparation of the Indonesian Independence Day Ceremony" , and “Negotiation of Buying a Cell Phone". This research uses two research methods: a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and a theoretical method with a pragmatic approach. The data analyzed was collected using observation and note-taking techniques. The results of the data analysis are presented in the form of descriptions along with explanations for each linguistic politeness found in the videos. Ten maxims were found: the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of praise, the maxim of humility, the maxim of agreement, the maxim of sympathy, the maxim of apology, the maxim of forgiveness, the maxim of emotion, the maxim of opinion, and the maxim of silence. This research provides an explanation of the use of linguistic politeness in the negotiation process. The language politeness that is most dominantly used on the Cinta Bahasa Youtube channel is compliance with the maxim of agreement and violation of the maxim of humilty. The benefit of this analysis is to provide an understanding of the appropriate use of language in accordance with language norms in the negotiation process, and readers can understand and use it in the context of good language as a result of this analysis.

Speech acts are the activities of speakers using language with their interlocutors to convey something. The research we conducted was analyzing speech acts contained in Indonesian language learning debate videos on the Guru Gokil Kita YouTube channel. This article is intended to be aware of the number of speech acts, namely expressive speech acts and directive speech acts in Indonesian language learning debate videos on the Guru Gokil Kita YouTube channel. Qualitative descriptive is the research technique that we use. The data used and found in this research are in the form of speech sourced from the debate video and analyzed in line with the type of speech act that the author will analyze. The video listed was taken from the Guru Gokil Kita YouTube channel which was broadcast in 2019. The researcher used the note-taking method as a method of collecting research results. Qualitative techniques are techniques used to analyze data in the form of speech in this research activity. The analysis results obtained after analyzing the three videos found that there were 55 expressive speech acts and 102 directive speech acts. Expressive speech acts consist of praising, thanking, flattering, blaming, complaining and criticizing. Meanwhile, directive speech acts consist of ordering, giving orders, suggesting, inviting, urging, convincing, and begging. The results of this research have the potential to contribute to the field of linguistics, especially in the context of pragmatics related to everyday use of spoken language. In addition, this research can function as a useful reference source to support further research in the field of linguistics.

This community service activity was carried out to members of Aisyiyah Karang Bahagia Branch. The purpose of this activity is to improve the skills of Aisyiyah members of Karang Bahagia Branch, especially in utilising the environment as a place for vegetable cultivation. This activity was carried out using two methods, namely face-to-face and online via zoom meet. This activity was carried out on 19 July 2021 to 25 July 2021. From the activities that have been carried out, the participants are very enthusiastic about the material presented by the speaker and are eager to practice farming with the hydroponic method.

Parameters for measuring public health conditions can be studied through the maternal mortality rate (MMR) and infant mortality rate (IMR) that occur in each period. Education is one of the efforts to improve the level of health, increasing knowledge about health will change a person's attitudes and behavior regarding health. Health. Apart from using the lecture method, providing this education also provides leaflets to support the education. This community service activity is carried out by providing education through lectures assisted by modified media about risky pregnancies, complications of pregnancy, as well as about strengthening the detection of complications with alacrity and rest. Method: This activity begins with the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. Results: 15 participants in this activity were pregnant women who visited the Marsinta Clinic in Polonia District, Medan City. In its implementation, risky pregnancies, complications in pregnancy are explained as well as strengthening understanding about fast rest as an empowerment for pregnant women in improving their health. Conclusion: The results obtained from this community service activity were an increase in knowledge about risky pregnancies before and after, namely an increase of 15% for the good level of knowledge, and 27% for the sufficient level, and at the level of poor knowledge there was a decrease of 40%. With this change in the level of knowledge and the strengthening of understanding, it is hoped that pregnant women will be more aware of the condition of their pregnancy and carry out pregnancy checks more regularly.

Daarul Jannah Mosque, located in Palem 1 Adhyaksa Sukapura Complex, Bandung Regency, is the result of a local community initiative through self-help. In addition to being a place of worship, this mosque is also expected to function as a centre for community social activities. However, the results of observations and interviews with the Chairperson of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) and the local RT Chairperson identified several problems with the interior elements of the mosque. These problems include the partition between the male and female prayer areas that is not optimal, the storage racks for prayer equipment that are not by needs, and the lack of ergonomic lesehan tables for religious study activities. In addition, the layout and function of the room are still not well organized, and there is no child-friendly space that can be used as an education centre. This community service aims to provide recommendations for more optimal interior design and arrangement according to the needs of the mosque and the local community. The methods used include location surveys, interviews with related parties, literature studies, and periodic design processes involving discussions between the service team and the mosque. The final result of this activity is a product of interior partition design for male and female prayer areas, recommendations for storage cabinet designs in the male and female areas, and a lesehan prayer table.

The study conducted at the National Potential Young Athletes Training Center (SLOMPN) of Unesa provides a crucial perspective on the use of an Android-based match statistics application. The research aims to optimize athletes' potential through the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) approach, integrating knowledge of athlete development with the application of technology in training. The survey results from 5 coaches indicate that the application aids in planning training, understanding application features, and assessing athlete development with positively skewed average scores. However, there is room for improvement, especially in terms of comfort during matches and communication with athletes. Meanwhile, 18 athletes showed positive acceptance of the application by rating its ease of use and impact on performance enhancement highly. Nevertheless, there is a need for improvement in injury recovery features and data security. This study underscores the importance of continuous collaboration between application developers and users to enhance the effectiveness of technology in sports training.

This study examines the role of digital learning platforms in improving educational access and quality in developing countries. By reviewing case studies of online education initiatives, the research evaluates how digital platforms address common barriers such as teacher shortages, limited resources, and geographic isolation. Findings reveal that digital learning enhances educational equity, especially when supported by proper infrastructure and training for educators and students. The paper highlights key strategies for maximizing the potential of digital learning in resource-constrained environments.

This article explores the influence of parental involvement on students' academic achievement across various cultural contexts. By comparing involvement strategies in different countries, the study examines how cultural factors impact parental roles in children's education. Findings indicate that parental engagement significantly boosts academic performance, although the effectiveness of different engagement strategies varies based on cultural norms, socioeconomic status, and parental education levels.

This paper explores global trends in teacher training and professional development for early childhood educators. The findings suggest that investing in teacher training and lifelong learning opportunities is critical to enhance the quality of early childhood education and bridge skills gaps among educators.

This study examines the progress made and the ongoing barriers to achieving gender equality in secondary school enrollment worldwide, with a focus on countries with high gender disparities. By analyzing policies, cultural factors, and economic barriers that hinder girls' access to secondary education, the research highlights the complex challenges that persist despite improvements in global enrollment rates for girls. Findings suggest that while progress has been made, there are still significant obstacles, such as child marriage, cultural expectations, and lack of educational resources, which prevent many girls from completing secondary education.

The silent way English language training was carried out at the Nurul Hasanah Kutacane Hospital. This silent way English language training aims to improve basic English skills for hospital employees. This English training method uses the silent way method. English language training using the silent method is used so that hospital employees can practice English language skills in medical sciences that will be used in the world of work. This English language training using the silent method was carried out thanks to collaboration between Nurul Hasanah Kutacane University and Nurul Hasanah Kutacane Hospital. This English language training is to assess evaluation using Quasy-Experiment (pre-experimental designs) with a design using one group pretest-posttest, where in this design there is no comparison group (control), but the first observation (pretest) has been carried out which allows the team to examine changes that occur after an experiment or posttest. The results obtained by the community service team showed significant changes in English language training through the silent way method to increase nurses' vocabulary in speaking English in hospitals.

This research aims to produce an LKPD product with a realistic mathematical approach that is valid, practical and effective for improving students' mathematical communication skills. This research and development is based on the stages of the 4D development model by Thiagarajan which was adapted to 3D including the definition, design and development stages. The subjects in this research were the X-Mipa 1 class of SMAN 2 Kabanjahe, totaling 30 people. Based on the research conducted, the validity of the LKPD obtained an average assessment of 89.47% by material experts and 88.15% by media experts with very valid qualifications. Through a questionnaire on the practicality of LKPD by teachers and students, an average of 90.27% was obtained by teachers and 92.12% by students with very practical qualifications. The implementation of learning by applying LKPD with RME was carried out to see the effectiveness of LKPD in obtaining results, namely achieving classical learning completeness. 86.67%, achievement of learning objectives was achieved in questions 1,2,3,4 and 5 and achievement of efficient learning time, from the effectiveness assessment reference, the LKPD developed was classified as effective. The increase in mathematical communication skills that occurred was an increase in the moderate category with an average gain score of 0.632. Based on the data obtained, it was concluded that the LKPD with RME that was developed met the qualifications of being valid, practical and effective.

Hobin is a teenager who was initially considered weak and often became a victim of bullying at school because of his poor physical condition. Hobin's life changes began when he discovered the Newtube channel which provided fighting guides. Hobin utilizes this platform to create his personal fighting content, not only as entertainment, but also as a means of positive change in his life. His decision received a positive response, bringing significant changes to his popularity and resulting in impressive physical and mental growth. This article aims to conduct a study of the intrinsic elements of this comic, exploring aspects of character development, storyline, and moral message, especially through Hobin's journey of transformation, which creates a strong basis for an in-depth study of the comic "How To Fight" by Park Tae Jun.

Technological developments are growing rapidly in line with the times. Technology is an important need today. This is because early childhood education is for children aged 0-6 years, early childhood education has a very important role in developing children's personalities and preparing children to enter a further level of education because technology is needed for many purposes. Technology is very easy to obtain because some prices are cheap and some are expensive according to the user's economic needs. This research uses descriptive research methods, namely by creating a detailed description of the condition of a subject or object. Gadgets are media that are used as modern communication tools. Gadgets make human communication activities easier. Now communication activities have developed even more advanced with the emergence of gadgets. Excessive use of gadgets will have a negative impact on children's social and emotional development. The bad impacts of using gadgets on children include children becoming closed individuals, sleep disorders, liking to be alone, violent behavior, fading creativity, and the threat of cyberbullying. This research uses a descriptive research method, namely by creating a detailed description of the condition of a subject or object. Descriptive research focuses on solving real problems as they existed at the time the research was conducted. In the era of globalization, technology is developing rapidly, especially in the field of communication media, making the world feel more connected. Internet media, as a rapidly developing communication medium, has penetrated into various levels of society, becoming a necessity in daily activities. Social media networks such as Twitter, Facebook, SMS, BBM, Line, and WhatsApp (WA) have become the main means of delivering various information services. Through this social media network, public communication becomes easier and faster, creating a high level of usage among the public. WhatsApp (WA), as a popular social media service, is used effectively to share information both privately and publicly, not only by teenagers but also by adults. One of them is a WA group which is formed based on needs. For example, the Independent Student Exchange 3 (PMM3) group. Research on code mixing in the use of Indonesian on WhatsApp social media is based on Applied Sociolinguistic Theory.

Currently, mobile technology developments are increasing rapidly. Crompton and Burke (2018) conveyed that smartphone as one of mobile technology is is rapidly advancing. Approximately 90% of students possessed a smartphone, and a few even had multiple mobile phones. (Wong et al., 2010; Bhati & Song, 2019). This study aimed to examine how the students perceive the utilization of “Splash” as a media on learning listening skill. Splash is one of android program that developed by the English team in Stekom University. It is made for improve students’ listening skill and grammar skill. This research used quantitative descriptive. The sample consists of 50 students who taken language class. The result showed that there are positive attitudes from the students about the usage of “Splash” to improve listening skill. They can use it every time and everywhere without worried running out of internet package because this application doesn’t need internet package to use. The students also found that the content of this application is interesting. They also got post-activity activities and tasks to help them improve their skills.

This research reveals that the use of Indonesian in Shopee advertising is a relevant strategy and has a positive impact. The accuracy of linguistic context is the main focus, reflecting wise policies in capturing linguistic diversity in Indonesia. Understanding dialects, phrases and linguistic norms in each region is the main key in creating appropriate and relevant messages. Shopee succeeded in tailoring messages well, in depth, and connecting with consumers from various walks of life, creating significant personal closeness. Language diversity in Indonesia is recognized as the key to success, ensuring that Shopee advertising is not only a marketing effort, but also an authentic communication that is close to consumers' daily lives. Linguistic creativity is an important factor in attracting consumer attention. Puns, local humor and creative expressions create marketing messages that are interesting, entertaining and different from competitors. This creativity is not only a sweetening element, but also an effective strategy in building a positive, attractive and educational brand image. Shopee has successfully utilized Indonesian creatively, not only as a shopping platform, but also as a provider of entertaining and attention-grabbing content. This relevance is not just a communication tool, but also the foundation for building deep and meaningful relationships with consumers in diverse markets. This research highlights that Indonesian is not just words, but a force that can shape feelings, win the hearts of consumers, and create a positive impact in the world of e-commerce.

This research explores the influence of Korean dramas on the communication styles of students from the Faculty of Da'wah, specifically the 2022 cohort. Drawing on communication theory and cultural studies, the study investigates the impact of Korean dramas on interpersonal communication, non-verbal cues, and language use among the mentioned group. Through surveys and interviews, the research identifies key communication patterns influenced by exposure to Korean dramas, shedding light on the integration of Korean cultural elements into the communication practices of these students. The findings contribute to understanding the role of popular media in shaping communication norms within diverse cultural contexts, emphasizing the need for media literacy and cultural sensitivity in contemporary education.

This article discusses the phenomenon of language use by young people in the contemporary era. Through qualitative research combining pragmatic and sociolinguistic theories, we explore various aspects of the language used by young people today. The language used by young people today is a reflection of cultural changes and social trends that affect the way they communicate.In this article, we outline the variety and creativity found in youth language, including the use of slang words, popular terms. Our analysis includes the social context that drives the development of this language, as well as its impact on youth understanding and identity. In addition, the article discusses the potential positive and negative impacts of the evolution of youth language on interpersonal communication and how this language reflects changing values in society. In an effort to understand and appreciate the dynamics of youth language, we invite readers to reflect on the importance of language adaptation in keeping up with the times.
