Coronavirus is an infectious human disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). D-dimer affects the mortality rate of COVID-19 patients due to an impaired immune system and an excessive inflammatory process that leads to tissue damage, leading to death conditions. The increase in COVID-19 severity correlates with an elevation in D-dimer levels. Elevated D-dimer levels have become an important marker in monitoring the condition of severe COVID-19 patients, as they are associated with worse outcomes and increased mortality in severe COVID-19 cases. To determine the relationship between D-dimer levels and mortality in severe COVID-19 patients. This research used a descriptive and analytical study with a cross-sectional design to determine the correlation between D-dimer levels and mortality in severe/critical COVID-19 patients. Data were obtained from secondary sources of medical records of confirmed severe/critical COVID-19 patients at Dr. Pirngadi Regional General Hospital. There is a correlation between D-Dimer levels and mortality in confirmed severe COVID-19 patients with moderate severity. A significant association exists between elevated D-Dimer levels and mortality in confirmed COVID-19 patients with moderate severity. This study also indicated that there are more male COVID-19 patients compared to females. Older individuals (elderly) in this study, aged over 45 years, are more likely to be infected with COVID-19 compared to those under 45 years of age.

Soil Transmitted Helminths are parasitic worms found in tropical and subtropical countries that can cause helminthic infections in humans through contact with eggs, parasite larvae spread through the soil. Detection of STH infection is carried out by sedimentation and flotation methods. Garbage carriers are vulnerable to STH infection because they work directly with garbage and are in a sanitary environment that is not clean. The purpose of the study was to determine the results of STH examination on the feces of waste transport officers in Tawangsari Village, Malang Regency. Type of Descriptive Analytical research, conducted in July 2023. The sampling technique uses Total Sampling of a sample of 8 respondents. The results of the sedimentation method found 2 heads of Ascaris lumbricoides, respondents A1, A2 (1tail), the flotation method was not found helmints. The sedimentation method found eggs of Ascaris lumbricoides respondents A1, A7(1 grain) and A2, A3(2 eggs). The flotation method found eggs of Ascaris lumbricoides respondents A2(5eggs), A3(2eggs) and A6(1eggs). The results of the pearson correlation test show a relationship between STH infection and personal hygiene, the use of PPE is 0.875 > 0.01 with a value of r = -0.67 meaning that there is no relationship between personal hygiene and the use of PPE with STH infection means better personal hygiene, the use of PPE while working does not require STH infection, the relationship between STH infection and Environmental Sanitation of 0.000 < 0.01 with a value of r = -1 means that there is a strong relationship inversely proportional between Environmental sanitation with STH infection in waste haulers, means that the better the environmental sanitation, the lower the risk level of STH.

This sociological study of religion attempts to explain the relationship between humans and spirits in the syncretism of Theravada Buddhism tradition with case studies in Indonesia, Cambodia, and Myanmar. In these countries, before the influence of the Indian Dharmic Religion, people practiced Theravada Buddhism side by side with folk beliefs. This study uses the theory of correlational theology from Paul Tillich as the search for common ground in reflection of the syncretic folk belief of worshipping Danghyang among Javanese people in Indonesia, Neak Ta among Khmer people in Cambodia, and Nat among Burmese people in Myanmar. The method used literature research and field observations in three countries in 2020. The results of this study are in the exploration of doctrinal concepts from religious texts and the acculturation practices on cultural heritage between the folk belief with the view of wholeness theology in Theravada Buddhism cosmology. Humans live in harmony with other creatures in this world according to the law of attachment and reciprocity, or Paticcasamuppada, consisting of 31 realms of existence. In the context of the three countries, these spirits articulate three relations: the relationship between guardian spirits and the people, the relationship between the deceased spirits and the living, and the relationship between spirits and the social environment, as in line with spiritual ecology (215 words)

During the pregnancy period there is a decrease in lymphocytes, a decrease in natural killer cells, and an increase in pro-inflammatory factors which make pregnant women susceptible to infection with viruses, including COVID-19. The impact of COVID-19 infection on the fetus is that 30% experience fetal distress and 37% premature birth. Anxiety is a feeling that exists in every human being. Anxious because of factors that could endanger himself or his family, thus causing discomfort in life. The anxiety of pregnant women is increasing especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Most pregnant women are worried about the impact of the corona virus on the birth of their babies, where pregnant women are afraid of being infected with Covid-19. This type of research that will be used is to use quantitative research methods with explanatory methods. The end result of this research is a picture of a causal relationship, so this method uses samples and hypotheses. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis to test the hypothesis. While the classic assumption test used includes Multicollinearity Test, Heteroscedasticity Test, Autocorrelation Test, and Data Normality Test. Overall, the indicators used in this study are valid (because the correlation coefficient is > 0.200 with a significance level of <0.05) and reliable (because the coefficient value of Cronbach's Alpha is > 0.60). The results of the classical assumption test also show that this research has fulfilled, among others 1.) Both regression models are free from multicollinearity; 2.) There is no heteroscedasticity; 3.) There is no autocorrelation in both regression models; and 4.) The residuals of the two regression models are normally distributed. The findings of the analysis using path analysis while answering the hypothesis concluded that the influence of employee work ethics on subjective well-being is significant, with a value of Standardized coefficients Beta 0.746 with a significance level of 0.000.
