Sexual violence against children is a highly complex issue with profound negative impacts on both the victims and their social environment. Children with disabilities, particularly those with Down Syndrome, are among the most vulnerable to such abuse due to their physical and cognitive limitations. Given this context, the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as the Child Protection Agency (LPA) becomes crucial. LPA plays a vital role in providing support, advocacy, and assistance to child victims of sexual violence, especially those with disabilities. This study aims to examine the protective role of LPA in assisting children with Down Syndrome who have become victims of sexual violence in Deli Serdang Regency. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the research explores and interprets the lived experiences of informants involved in the cases. The study also highlights the implementation of the four child protection principles as applied by the LPA. The findings show that LPA fulfills its protective role by providing legal assistance, psychosocial support, and ensuring the safety of the victims. The organization successfully implemented the four child protection principles, resulting in a 12-year prison sentence for the perpetrator and justice for the victim. The study recommends increasing LPA staff capacity to enhance the quality of services provided.

A decline in performance in automatic motorcycles that have been used for a long time is a common problem caused by wear and tear on the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system. This condition results in a reduction in the clamping force of the V-belt on the pulley, causing slippage and a decrease in transmission capacity. Based on the manufacturer's specifications, the torque is 8.32 Nm at 5500 rpm, while the test results show a torque of 7.41 Nm at 6500 rpm, a decrease of 10.9%. The study aims to analyze the effect of variations in pulley angle and surface roughness on the torque value of a 108 cm³ automatic motorcycle as a method to restore transmission performance without replacing the main components. The pulley angles tested were 14°, 13.8°, and 13.5°, while the surface roughness was varied based on the turning process with cutting inserts having nose radii of 0.2 mm, 0.4 mm, and 0.8 mm. The testing was conducted using a dynamometer at an engine speed range of 6000 – 9000 rpm. The results showed that the combination of a 13.8° pulley angle with a 0.2 mm cutting insert nose radius produced a torque of 7.41 Nm at 6500 rpm, an increase of 8.2% compared to the standard 14.5° configuration, which only produced 6.85 Nm. Modifying the pulley angle and surface roughness was proven to increase the V-belt clamping force, thereby improving transmission performance.

The limitation of physical memory (RAM) is a primary constraint hindering optimal performance in modern operating systems, especially when running large applications or performing intensive multitasking, often resulting in crashes and high latency. This research aims to quantitatively analyze the effectiveness of Virtual Memory (VM) implementation as a solution to this RAM constraint on the Windows 10 operating system, focusing on VM’s impact on CPU performance, GPU performance, and multitasking response. The methodology employed is a controlled experiment using industry-standard benchmarks: Cinebench R20 (CPU), Unigine Heaven (GPU), and response time measurements in intensive multitasking scenarios. Experimental results demonstrate that VM activation improves CPU/GPU performance by up to 5% and accelerates multitasking response time by up to 15%, confirming VM's effectiveness in mitigating memory bottlenecks. Nevertheless, this study also identifies potential performance overhead stemming from excessive paging and swapping processes, which trigger the phenomenon of Thrashing. Therefore, the research recommends a dual optimization strategy to achieve maximum and stable performance: software optimization via the Least Recently Used (LRU) algorithm to suppress page faults, supported by hardware optimization including the use of an SSD for the swap file and increased RAM capacity.

The absolute nature of moral rights creates practical legal issues. Under the concept of a sales agreement, the ownership of the sold object is transferred from the seller to the buyer. Conversely, the concept of moral rights, as stipulated in Law Number 28 of 2014, dictates that moral rights cannot be transferred for any reason whatsoever as long as the creator is alive. The conceptual and juridical ambiguity arises from the contradictory nature of a copyright and/or copyrighted work sales agreement versus the absolute status of moral rights. The research methodology employed in this study is the normative juridical method. This method focuses on analyzing legal norms related to moral rights and sales agreements, specifically referencing Law Number 28 of 2014 (Copyright Law) and the Civil Code (Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Perdata). Normatively, the creator's moral rights are perpetual and non-transferable to other parties, in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 28 of 2014, Articles 5 and 57. Nevertheless, within the context of private law, Article 5 of Law Number 28 of 2014 grants the creator the freedom to either maintain or waive these rights. If the agreement is reached consensually, the principle of pacta sunt servanda is applicable between the contracting parties. A clause involving the assignment of moral rights can render the agreement voidable (vernietigbaar) if it involves a violation of the subjective requirements (consent and legal capacity). This is particularly true if the consent was obtained through an abuse of circumstances (penyalahgunaan keadaan). A violation of this requirement indicates that the consent provided by the creator was not free and consensual.
