This study discusses the comparison of green economic policies implemented between Indonesia and Malaysia in supporting inclusive sustainable national development, which is examined normatively through a comparative study approach. Indonesia, through Law No. 30 of 2007 on Energy, Law No. 21 of 2014 on Geothermal Energy, and other regulations, has established a national green program encompassing environmental quality improvement, disaster resilience and climate change mitigation, low-carbon development, and renewable energy development as pillars of national development. Meanwhile, Malaysia's National Energy Policy 2022-2040 and other regulations stipulate that a green economy can be achieved through economic development, the utilization of sustainable energy resources, and environmental quality. Research findings indicate that Indonesia has not maximized the implementation of a green economy due to the ease of business permits granted to investors and limited regulations within specific scopes, while Malaysia has established more complex regulations regarding green investments, ensuring that permits are not issued arbitrarily.

Sentani Kota Village as a strategic area experiences significant pressure due to population growth and economic activities, facing complex problems including the conversion of agricultural land and forests into residential and commercial areas, low public awareness about sustainable spatial planning, and weaknesses in law enforcement and supervision. This condition potentially threatens the environmental sustainability and ecosystem of Lake Sentani. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of spatial utilization in Sentani Kota Village, Sentani District, Jayapura Regency, focusing on two main issues: the level of conformity between existing spatial utilization and the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) guidelines, and the factors that support and hinder the effectiveness of RTRW implementation. Conducting overlay analysis of existing conditions and spatial pattern maps, complemented by field verification at 28 observation points and stakeholder interviews with the Spatial Planning Agency. The results show that 76.5% (2,759.07 hectares) of spatial utilization conforms to RTRW guidelines, while 22.9% (825.98 hectares) remains non-conforming, and 0.6% (21.66 hectares) violates regulations. Supporting factors include routine monitoring protocols, high conformity levels in designated areas, firm enforcement actions, and community leadership involvement. Conversely, hindering factors encompass low public compliance, non-conforming zones prone to violations, inconsistent enforcement responses, various types of violations, limited sanction mechanisms, and inadequate preventive measures. This study recommends targeted enforcement in critical zones, transition planning for non-conforming areas, lake buffer zone management, enhanced community participation, and systematic monitoring protocols to achieve more effective spatial utilization control.

The concept of sustainable living has increasingly influenced daily life, with communities adopting healthy habits, eco-friendly actions, and paperless practices. Lyfe With Less is one community actively promoting sustainability through the #SalingSilang campaign. This study analyzes their communication strategies to encourage sustainable lifestyles via social media. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through digital searches and observation. Findings reveal that social media functions as both an educational platform and a catalyst for social change. A multi-platform strategy ensures broad information dissemination, while exclusive memberships, such as those on Telegram, support deeper community engagement. Programs like the #SalingSilang Free Market and #BersalingSilang offer sustainable consumption alternatives. In 2024, 1,588 second-hand items were exchanged in Bandung, and 3,305 people participated in events across multiple cities. Innovations such as the Sustainable Journey Passport and subsidized shipping fees for online trades enhance public participation. Through these initiatives, Lyfe With Less has built a communication ecosystem that fosters minimalist and environmentally conscious lifestyles. Their approach effectively reduces overconsumption, raises waste management awareness, and demonstrates how social media can be a powerful tool for promoting sustainability.

This study discusses how corporate governance (Good Corporate Governance/GCG) plays a role in reducing and controlling financial risk in an organization. Financial risk is an inseparable aspect of business activities, especially when companies face unstable and challenging market conditions. Therefore, a governance system is needed that can help companies recognize potential risks early on, as well as set appropriate handling strategies to minimize their impact on business continuity. The method used in this study is a literature study, namely by collecting secondary data from scientific journals and trusted articles that are relevant to the topic. The discussion includes theoretical foundations related to GCG principles, corporate governance structures, and financial risk mitigation steps. In addition, the role of the government in providing regulatory support is also discussed as part of the external factors that affect the effectiveness of corporate governance. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the application of GCG principles such as transparency, accountability, and responsibility has a major influence on the company's resilience in facing financial risks. A clear organizational structure and strong supervision allow companies to manage risks systematically. In other words, GCG makes a real contribution to strengthening a sustainable and adaptive risk management system to changes in the business environment.

Climate change is a global challenge that affects various aspects of life, including economic development. The concept of green budgeting has emerged as an important strategy to ensure the efficiency of public spending while supporting sustainable development in Indonesia. This research analyzes the potential of green budgeting to enhance the efficiency of environmental budget management, focusing on public fiscal policies that align with sustainability. By implementing mechanisms such as climate-based budgeting (CBT), the government can increase the budget for programs aimed at mitigating and adapting to the impacts of climate change, but also faces structural challenges such as a lack of human resources and the absence of a comprehensive oversight system. This study adopts a qualitative approach to identify the relationship between public expenditure efficiency and the implementation of green budgeting in development policy, using literature review methods. Research results show that the distribution of green budgets in the state budget (APBN) is still limited, indicating a potential inefficiency in fund allocation. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance institutional capacity, integrate monitoring systems, and commit to implementing fiscal policies that consider the environment by both the central and local governments.

This study analyzes the impact of sustainable tourism concept implementation on the community of Tobati-Enggros Village, Jayapura City. Using qualitative descriptive methods with in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis involving 35 informants, this research evaluates three pillars of sustainability: economic, socio-cultural, and environmental aspects. The findings show that sustainable tourism implementation achieves a moderate effectiveness score of 2.7. Economically, tourism creates new employment opportunities and increases community income by 25%-400%, but benefits distribution remains unequal with 70% of profits controlled by 30% of residents. Socio-culturally, tourism helps preserve the unique "Women's Forest" tradition while causing erosion in traditional practices like gotong royong (community cooperation). Environmentally, significant ecosystem degradation occurs with water quality declining 56% and mangrove forest coverage reducing by 10%. The study recommends strengthening community-based tourism institutions, implementing comprehensive waste management systems, and developing community capacity building programs to optimize sustainable tourism benefits while preserving environmental and cultural integrity.

This study diagnoses obstacles to transitioning to a circular economy in Iraq and analyzes opportunities for sustainable economic development. It employs a comprehensive descriptive analysis of economic, social, and environmental data related to the circular economy in Iraq. The findings reveal a decline in per capita economic growth in Iraq, dropping from 10.8% in 2016 to 4.3% in 2022, with some years experiencing negative growth. This decline stems from the economy's heavy reliance on the oil sector, which accounts for 61.1% of GDP, and insufficient infrastructure for clean production models and resource recycling. The study recommends effective government strategies to diversify away from oil dependence by developing sustainable agriculture, green industries, and eco-tourism. It stresses the need to invest in waste recycling and renewable energy projects and to offer tax incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, it concludes that collaboration with developed countries and international organizations could accelerate Iraq's transition to a circular economy, enhancing economic sustainability and improving living standards.
