This qualitative study aims to gain insights into how English lecturers perceive and integrate generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their teaching, an increasingly relevant topic in education. Guided by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the research involved two lecturers from a higher education context. Findings reveal a shift in perception: although both participants were initially reluctant due to unfamiliarity and concerns about learning quality, they gradually embraced AI after firsthand experience. They now recognize its potential to support teaching while maintaining careful oversight to ensure it does not compromise the learning process. Their evolving views highlight the importance of adaptability and critical awareness in incorporating AI into English language education.

Stunting, also known as growth failure in children, is a condition caused by a child's nutritional needs not being met for a long time, specifically during the first 1,000 days of life. The first 1,000 days of life are the first 270 days (nine months) in the mother's womb plus the first 730 days (two years) of a baby's life after birth. Education is a learning process aimed at developing the potential or quality of thought patterns and knowledge of an individual or group. One of the goals of education is to increase public knowledge. The target group for the first 1,000 days of life is pregnant women. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education on pregnant women's knowledge about the first 1,000 days of life at the Tombulilato Community Health Center, Bone Raya District, Gorontalo City. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment with a two group pretest and posttest design approach. The sample in this study were 32 pregnant women in the intervention group and 32 in the control group. Data collection was done through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a paired T test with a 95% confidence interval (CI) and α <0.05. The results of the study showed that Educational Intervention had a significant effect on the knowledge of pregnant women (p = 0.000) in the First 1000 Days of Life in the Tombulilato Health Center area, Bone Raya District. It is hoped that more practical information will be provided to the community, especially prospective mothers, in preparing a quality next generation, especially in the First 1000 Days of Life. As well as optimizing Posyandu services, and involving the participation of families such as husbands and parents when socialization and information provision are carried out.

Improving the quality of education is a strategic challenge for every educational unit, including private elementary madrasahs that carry the Integrated Islamic approach. MIS IT Nurul Ikhwan Cahaya Ananda Palembang as a basic educational institution based on Islamic values ​​and technology, faces various dynamics in managing quality management, ranging from limited resources to the complexity of implementing an internal quality assurance system. This study aims to describe in depth the management strategies applied in improving the quality of education, as well as identifying the challenges and solutions faced by madrasahs in the implementation process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with key informants. The results of the study indicate that madrasahs have implemented quality management through strategic planning, strengthening teacher capacity, integrating technology in learning, and community involvement. Despite challenges such as budget limitations and imbalances in HR competencies, madrasahs are able to present solutions based on collaboration and innovation that are oriented towards the sustainability of education quality.

The transformation of the Islamic education curriculum based on digital literacy is an essential step to enhance student engagement in higher education learning. This study aims to examine the implementation of digital literacy in the Islamic education curriculum and its impact on the quality of learning. A qualitative approach was used, involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that although some Islamic higher education institutions have integrated technology into learning, challenges related to lecturer readiness, digital access inequality, and limited resources remain major obstacles. Students responded positively to digital-based learning, which provided easier access to study materials and facilitated online interaction. However, the digital access gap needs to be addressed promptly to create a more equitable learning experience. The implications of this study suggest the need for ongoing lecturer training, improved technological infrastructure, and curriculum policies that support more effective integration of digital literacy in Islamic higher education.

The elderly period carries a negative perception because it is considered one of the vulnerable groups in society. They often experience changes in physical health, reduced social support, and the possibility of decreased quality of life. In this case, empowerment of the elderly is important to improve the quality of life and achieve successful aging, as is the empowerment carried out for the elderly at the Al-Falah Health Post Dompet Dhuafa. This study aims to determine what empowerment model is carried out at the Al-Falah Health Post and what programs are carried out in achieving successful aging for the elderly at the Al-Falah Health Post as well as the obstacles and what efforts are made to overcome these obstacles. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observations, and documentation. And the determination of informants used purposive sampling. The results of this study show a picture of empowerment at the AL-Falah Health Post involving various training for elderly cadres, the achievement of successful aging in the elderly at the Al-Falah Health Post in the forms of achievements include: a) minimizing and low risk of disease, the elderly have awareness and commitment to maintain their health, b) physical and cognitive function that is still maximal allows the elderly to continue learning, maintain physical and mental health, and increase their independence in everyday life, c) social relationships in life at the Al-Falah Health Post create an environment that supports active and beneficial social relationships.

This study explores the implementation of Lesson Study within the teaching practicum (PPL) program to enhance student engagement, learning outcomes, and the teaching competencies of pre-service teachers. Employing a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, the research was conducted in three cycles involving second-grade students at UPT SD Negeri Latsari. Each cycle consisted of the Lesson Study stages: planning, execution, and reflection. The findings indicate significant improvements in all targeted areas. Student engagement showed a steady increase, starting from 63% in Cycle 1 and reaching 91% in Cycle 3, supported by interactive strategies such as group worksheets, flipbook media, and the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model. Correspondingly, learning outcomes improved, with average test scores rising from 68.2 in Cycle 1 to 83.7 in Cycle 3. Furthermore, pre-service teachers demonstrated notable development in key teaching competencies, particularly in lesson planning, classroom management, and reflective practices. Overall, the study underscores the effectiveness of Lesson Study in promoting collaborative teaching practices, improving the quality of instruction, and fostering professional growth among pre-service teachers. The integration of innovative and interactive learning strategies within the Lesson Study framework contributed significantly to creating a more engaging and impactful learning environment for students.

This study aims to analyze the influence of interactive teaching methods and student involvement on student learning interest and motivation at SDN Kampung Melayu V through the BSI Explore Program. Using a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey, data were collected through questionnaires filled out by students participating in the program. The results show a significant positive impact between interactive teaching methods and active student involvement on the improvement of their learning interest and motivation. Students who actively participated in activities such as discussions, experiments, and practical tasks showed higher levels of learning interest compared to those who were less involved. These findings underline the importance of using teaching methods that prioritize active interaction to improve the quality of education and student motivation. Therefore, the results of this study recommend integrating interactive teaching methods and active student involvement into educational programs to encourage greater learning interest among students.

Abstract This study aims to improve the quality of learning to read the Qur’an for children at TPA AR-Rasyid through the application of the Iqro method. The Iqro method is an approach to learning to read the Qur’an that emphasizes conformity to the rules of tajwid and the use of songs and distinctive rhythms. This study uses a qualitative approach with the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Iqro method at TPA Ar-Rasyid can improve students’ ability to read the Qur’an and foster their enthusiasm in studying the Qur’an. The Iqro method has proven effective in creating a generation of fluent Qur’an readers who are committed to the teachings of Islam

This study investigates the impact of Habitat for Humanity Indonesia's Decent Housing Program on improving the quality of life of poor residents in Marga Mulya Village. The research aims to evaluate the role of community empowerment through the program in increasing access to decent housing, as well as to assess its broader impacts on education, health, and the economic conditions of the beneficiaries. Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with program participants and key stakeholders. The findings show that the Decent Housing Program has significantly improved access to adequate and safe housing for the poor. In the field of education, improved housing conditions have created a more conducive environment for children to study, leading to greater learning motivation and better academic achievements. In terms of health, better sanitation facilities and healthier living environments have reduced the risk of infectious diseases and contributed to the residents' overall physical and mental well-being. Economically, access to stable and decent housing has reduced household expenditures on home repairs, allowing families to allocate more resources toward productive economic activities. However, the study also identified several challenges that need to be addressed to further enhance program effectiveness. These challenges include the location of housing projects that are difficult to access, which affects residents' mobility and access to public services, and issues related to the quality of construction that require continuous monitoring and improvement. Overall, the study highlights the positive contribution of the Decent Housing Program while providing recommendations for its future development.

This study aims to analyze the need for a flipbook as a teaching material for response texts integrated with the principles of politeness. The background of this research stems from the limitations of response text teaching materials, which are still integrated into printed textbooks without incorporating essential politeness principles. This research employed a qualitative method with data collected through questionnaires and interviews involving seventh-grade students at two junior high schools in Dander District, Bojonegoro Regency. The findings indicate that most students prefer response text material to be presented separately and packaged in the form of an engaging and easily accessible digital flipbook. Furthermore, students consider the integration of politeness principles into response text material important to help them express opinions politely and without offending others. Therefore, it can be concluded that a flipbook teaching material integrated with politeness principles is necessary to enhance the quality of learning.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the scientific approach in improving Natural Sciences (IPA) learning outcomes among Elementary School students. The method used is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing various scientific sources such as journal articles, books, and relevant research reports from the past five years. The findings indicate that the scientific approach has a positive impact on students' understanding of science concepts, critical thinking skills, as well as motivation and engagement in the learning process. This approach encourages students to actively participate in scientific processes through the stages of observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, and communicating. These stages help make learning more meaningful, contextual, and aligned with students’ cognitive development. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, such as limited facilities and infrastructure, constrained instructional time, and the lack of teacher training in applying this approach effectively. Therefore, support from various stakeholders—including schools, government, and the community—is needed to overcome these obstacles and enhance the quality of science education. Overall, the scientific approach is considered effective in creating interactive, reflective, and student-centered science learning at the Elementary School level.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using various learning strategies in improving the quality of learning in elementary schools. Learning strategies are an important component that teachers must prepare to create an effective, interesting learning process that is in accordance with the characteristics and needs of students. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation in several elementary schools. The results of the study indicate that the application of active, cooperative, contextual, and project-based learning strategies can significantly increase student participation, motivation, and learning outcomes. Teachers who are able to choose and adapt learning strategies according to the material and class conditions play an important role in creating a participatory and productive learning environment. In addition, teacher training and the use of discussion and interaction methods have been shown to improve the quality of learning management in the classroom. In conclusion, the effectiveness of learning strategies is greatly influenced by the ability of teachers to design and implement student-centered methods, as well as the support of a conducive learning environment. The implications of this study are expected to be a reference for teachers and schools in choosing and developing appropriate learning strategies to improve the quality of education in elementary schools

Education plays a strategic role in improving the quality of human resources. In this context, teachers serve as central figures who determine the success of the learning process. Teacher professionalism is one of the key indicators in establishing a high-quality education system. This article aims to analyze the role of educational policy in supporting the development of teacher professional quality in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach, utilizing secondary data sources from scientific articles and journals published between 2020 and 2025, accessed through Google Scholar. The results indicate that educational policies in Indonesia have provided a strong legal and regulatory foundation for the development of teacher professionalism, such as Law Number 14 of 2005 and its derivative regulations. These policies regulate qualifications, competencies, certification, and budget support for teachers. In conclusion, educational policy plays a vital role in improving teacher quality through a structured and sustainable system.

The application of Virtual Reality (VR) based on the Metaverse in education is an innovation that can enhance the quality of learning by providing a more interactive and immersive learning experience. This article discusses the development of VR-based learning integrated with the Metaverse using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, VR and Metaverse-based learning can be tailored to students' needs, creating a more flexible and collaborative learning experience. The use of this technology allows students to learn independently or in groups, while improving practical skills and creativity. This study shows that by applying the ADDIE model, VR and Metaverse-based learning can be more effective in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes, addressing the challenges of education in the future.

This study aims to analyze the impact of online learning on students' learning independence at the secondary school level. The research is motivated by the significant shift in the education system due to the pandemic, which required students to adapt to technology-based distance learning. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation, supported by quantitative questionnaires from previous studies. The findings indicate that online learning has both positive and negative effects on students' learning independence. Positive impacts include increased student responsibility in completing assignments, ease of accessing learning materials anytime and anywhere, and enhanced parental involvement in supporting their children's learning at home. However, negative effects were also identified, such as students' tendency to engage excessively in gaming, reduced effectiveness of the learning process, and delays in task submission due to workload accumulation. Regression analysis results show a significant influence between online learning and learning independence, although the effect is moderate to low in some cases. Factors such as learning motivation, self-efficacy, and the support of the online learning environment play crucial roles in shaping student independence. The study recommends collaboration among government, schools, teachers, parents, and the wider community to improve the quality and quantity of online learning facilities, as well as more varied learning strategies to optimally support the development of students' learning independence.

This study aims to comprehensively examine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) on enhancing students’ problem-solving abilities in physics education. The integration of IoT into PBL is seen as a progressive approach to address the growing demand for innovative instructional strategies that promote higher-order thinking skills. A quantitative approach was adopted, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group format to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. The participants were 25 undergraduate physics students from the University of West Sulawesi, selected through saturated sampling due to the limited population size. To evaluate students’ problem-solving skills, data were collected using structured written tests designed around five key indicators: understanding the problem, describing the problem, planning the solution, executing the solution, and evaluating the results. Prior to hypothesis testing, normality of the data was assessed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, followed by paired sample t-tests with IBM SPSS Statistics 23 to determine the significance of differences in pretest and posttest scores. The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in students’ problem-solving skills following the implementation of the IoT-based PBL model, with results showing significance at the 5% level and gain scores classified as effective. These outcomes demonstrate the potential of the PBL-IoT integration to foster critical thinking and improve educational quality. Therefore, the implementation of this instructional model is recommended for physics educators seeking to enhance student engagement, problem-solving proficiency, and learning outcomes through the integration of emerging technologies.

This study aims to see to what extent the use of the Ruangguru platform affects students' learning motivation in offline Indonesian language learning at the Indonesian Education University. Amid the rapid development of educational technology, it is important to understand the role of digital tools such as Ruangguru in the context of face-to-face learning. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 102 students who have used Ruangguru and are at least 15 years old. The results show that most aspects of platform use are classified as low, but elements such as attractiveness of appearance, presentation of materials, and quality of learning videos are quite appreciated by users. Students' learning motivation is in the fairly high category, especially in terms of enthusiasm for learning and self-confidence in understanding the material. The habit of using the platform routinely is still relatively low. These findings indicate that Ruangguru has the potential to support offline learning motivation, but its effectiveness will be more pronounced if accompanied by direct direction from lecturers and more structured learning strategies.

This study aims to explore the factors that affect the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in improving student learning outcomes. PBL is a learning method based on real problem solving that requires students to think critically and work collaboratively. Although PBL has been proven effective in a variety of contexts, its implementation in developing countries and in various disciplines still faces challenges. The factors tested in this study included student characteristics (such as motivation and critical thinking skills), facilitator quality, environmental support (including educational facilities, technology, and policies), and subject matter characteristics. Through a literature analysis and case studies in several educational institutions, this study found that the effectiveness of PBL is highly dependent on the interaction between these factors. The characteristics of active and independent students, well-trained facilitators, and adequate environmental support can promote the achievement of better learning outcomes. Meanwhile, subject matter that is relevant and in accordance with the needs of students also plays a big role in the success of the implementation of PBL. This study provides recommendations for educators and policymakers to consider these factors in designing and implementing PBL in the educational environment.

The English language learning process at SDN 064037 Medan Tembung faces challenges related to a lack of interactivity and optimal utilization of learning media, particularly in the topic My Family. This research aims to analyze the impact of implementing Wordwall media in enhancing student interactivity, understanding of the material, and learning motivation. This study employs a qualitative approach through methods of observation, interviews, and documentation involving 25 fourth-grade students at SDN 064037. The findings of this study indicate that the application of Wordwall in learning significantly improves student interactivity, material comprehension, and their motivation to learn. The interactive features of Wordwall encourage students to be more active during the learning process, positively influencing their learning outcomes. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers utilize more varied learning media, such as Wordwall, to enhance the quality of education in elementary schools.

Human decision-making often occurs under conditions of uncertainty, where understanding probabilities is essential for making informed choices. This study investigates how people perceive and apply probabilistic information in various decision-making contexts. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used to analyze the decision patterns of 200 individuals from diverse backgrounds through scenarios involving uncertainty. The results show that most participants prefer relying on intuition or personal experience rather than using statistical reasoning. Several cognitive biases, such as ignoring probability, overestimating confidence, and relying on readily available information, were commonly observed. However, participants with a stronger grasp of probability concepts demonstrated more logical and beneficial decision-making, particularly in financial and organizational settings. The study highlights a clear link between probability literacy and decision quality. Improving public understanding of probabilistic thinking could enhance decision outcomes, especially in situations involving risk. Educational efforts to integrate probability awareness into learning environments are recommended to support better decision-making both individually and collectively.
