This study aims to analyze the impact of the Muslim boycott call after the issuance of Fatwa MUI No. 83 on the stock returns of Israel-affiliated companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The stocks selected for the study include UNVR, FAST, MAPI, MAPA, MAPB, and PZZA. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference in the stock returns of companies affiliated with Israel after the issuance of Fatwa MUI No. 83 on November 8, 2023. This finding indicates a delay in the market response to public information related to the boycott call, which is characteristic of markets with lower efficiency levels. This research is expected to provide insights for the public and investors regarding the dynamics of the capital market in Indonesia in responding to a social event. In addition, the results of this study can also be taken into consideration for market authorities and related institutions in evaluating policies aimed at improving capital market efficiency in Indonesia.

Diaconal ministry is one form of church service that embodies the love of Christ in serving others. However, in practice, this ministry is often carried out in a charitable manner and has yet to fully address comprehensive and sustainable empowerment of the congregation. This study is driven by the urgent need to develop a diaconal service that not only provides temporary assistance but also effectively enhances the socio-economic independence of the congregation, particularly within the context of Gereja Isa Almasih Pringgading, where some Christian members face economic challenges due to limited access, resources, and institutional church support. The objective of this study is to analyze and describe the role of the Church Council in developing reformative and sustainable empowerment-based diaconal ministry. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with Church Council members and service recipients, direct observations of diaconal activities, and documentation of church archives and social service reports. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of service, empowerment strategies, and socio-economic impacts on the congregation. The study's findings reveal that the Church Council plays a strategic role in transforming diaconal ministry from mere charitable assistance into a structured empowerment program. Successfully implemented programs include entrepreneurial skills training, micro-business mentoring for congregation members, internal church cooperative development, and the establishment of local economic partnership networks. The impacts of these programs are reflected in increased household incomes, improved economic independence for some members, and strengthened social solidarity within the congregation. This study produces a conceptual model of empowerment-based diaconal ministry that can be replicated by other local churches to sustainably enhance congregational welfare.

in facing the changes in culture, thought, and morality that have emerged in the midst of postmodern society. In this context, Mark 4:1-20, which contains the parable of the sower, provides important insights into how the word of God The implementation of a sower for Christians in the postmodern era is a relevant topic to study considering the complex challenges faced by the church and individual Christians are delivered and received in various conditions of the human heart. This study aims to examine the relevance of the teachings in the parable for Christians in the postmodern era. In the postmodern era, where relativism, pluralism, and skepticism towards absolute truth are increasingly growing, the parable of the sower provides an illustration of how the word of God is spread and received in various situations. Just as the sower sows seeds into various types of soil (roadside soil, rocky soil, thorny soil, and fertile soil), so too Christians are faced with varying conditions of heart and mind in receiving the message of the gospel. This study identifies the challenges faced by the church, such as the influence of social media, individualism, and relativism, which can affect the way the word of God is received by postmodern society. Through a theological approach to Mark 4:1-20, this study offers a perspective on how Christians can act as faithful sowers, seeking to sow the seeds of the word with patience, and seeking to respond to various social and cultural conditions that exist wisely. Thus, the implementation of the parable of the sower in the context of the postmodern era not only invites people to actively spread the gospel, but also to understand the various challenges and heart situations that can affect the reception of the word.

Shirk, the sin of associating partners with Allah, poses a significant threat to the foundation of faith among Muslims. In the Qur'an, shirk is described as the greatest sin that will not be forgiven except through sincere repentance. This article aims to explore the concept of shirk, define its various forms, and provide examples of major (akbar) and minor (ashgar) shirk. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes Islamic literature and Qur'anic verses to examine the impact of shirk on the spiritual and moral lives of Muslims. The findings indicate that shirk can damage an individual's relationship with Allah and threaten moral integrity. In modern contexts, shirk may also manifest in subtle forms, such as materialism. Education on Tawhid, emphasizing the oneness of Allah, is crucial in preventing shirk. This study seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of shirk and the importance of maintaining pure faith. With a better understanding of shirk, it is hoped that individuals can avoid such practices and align their lives with Islamic teachings.

The Qur'an as the final revelation revealed by Allah SWT has a very central role in shaping the teachings and lives of Muslims. One of the most important aspects of the teachings of the Qur'an is the unity of the people, which can be a foundation in maintaining harmony and solidarity amidst existing differences. The virtues contained in the Qur'an, such as teachings on justice, tolerance, brotherhood, and compassion, provide clear direction for Muslims to unite and work together for the common good. However, amid the diversity of schools of thought, ethnicities, and thoughts in Muslims, it is important to re-explore the basic principles of the Qur'an that can strengthen relations between fellow Muslims. This study aims to explore the virtues of the Qur'an that can be the foundation of teachings that unite Muslims. This study also seeks to understand how these values are applied in the context of the social and cultural life of Muslims, both in the past and in the contemporary era. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with a thematic interpretation approach to analyze the verses of the Qur'an related to the unity of the people, as well as a study of the hadith to explore the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW regarding the unity of the Muslim community. In addition, this study also uses a historical and socio-cultural approach to understand the application of the teachings of the Qur'an in Muslim society from time to time. The results of the study show that the virtues of the Qur'an, such as teachings on brotherhood, justice, and tolerance, have a very important role in strengthening the unity of Muslims, even though there are differences in terms of schools of thought, culture, and views. This writing is motivated by the phenomenon of love that is not owned by Christians, so that there is a tendency of materialism among Christians that affects the way of thinking and behavior, this is because Christians are not able to carry out religious values perfectly. The emergence of cases of persecution, and discrimination against others shows that there is still a lack of love between people, especially Christians. Therefore, this study aims to apply theological studies on the concept of love for others in the Gospel of 1 John 4: 7-8 and its relevance for Christians, by providing forgiveness to others. By using a qualitative approach method to analyze, study and deepen it so that the right steps are obtained in practicing love for others in everyday life. The results of this study show that, (1) Jesus showed love regardless of ethnic or social differences, (2) Love is selfless, unselfish and most importantly unconditional, meaning total love. Thus, love is shown not only in words, but every real action as shown by Jesus to the Samaritan woman in John 4:7-8.

Religious conflicts in Indonesia still occur to this day even though Indonesia is known as a plural country. There are still claims that the teachings of one religion are better than other religions. In this study, the author discusses the concept of the Trinity in Christianity and Trimurti in Hinduism, and the implications of both concepts for inter-religious harmony. The Trinity, consisting of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is the core of Christianity that emphasises unity and diversity in one God. The Trimurti consisting of Brahma (Creator), Vishnu (Sustainer), and Shiva (Destroyer) describes different aspects of God in Hinduism. Analyses were conducted using a religio-cultural approach to understand how these two concepts can complement or contradict each other. The research shows that although there are fundamental differences in the understanding of divinity between Christianity and Hinduism, there are also common points that can be used as a basis for interfaith dialogue. This research provides theological insights and practical solutions to create social harmony.
