The academic transition phase among tenth-grade students represents an important period that requires the ability to adjust to changes in the environment, academic demands, and increasingly complex social dynamics. This study aims to analyze psychosocial dynamics in the student adaptation process during the academic transition phase through a literature review approach. The method employed was a library research study by examining various relevant scientific sources related to adolescent psychosocial development, adaptation processes, psychosocial impacts, and strategies for addressing students’ adaptation problems. The results of the review indicate that the adaptation process is influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors include emotional condition, coping ability, and self-control, while external factors include support from family, peers, teachers, and the school environment. Students’ inability to adapt may lead to anxiety, low self-confidence, academic difficulties, and obstacles in social interaction. Efforts to support students’ adaptation process can be carried out through strengthening social support, optimizing guidance and counseling services, and implementing self-management techniques to enhance students’ self-regulation abilities. With appropriate support and intervention strategies, students are expected to navigate the academic transition phase more effectively and develop optimally in psychological, social, and academic aspects.

The preservation of the nation's collective memory is a very important aspect in maintaining national identity, but its existence today is threatened by physical damage and limited access to information. This study aims to explain effective preservation methods to ensure the sustainability of the collective memory as a historical heritage. The methodology applied is qualitative descriptive by collecting data through literature review and document analysis from various literature sources and regulations related to archives. The results of this study show that the implementation of the current preservation strategy still faces major problems, especially the difference between the expected tennis standards and the reality of limited funds and the ability of human resources to carry out restoration. In addition, the digitalization process has not been fully linked to the planned long-term digital preservation management. The implications of this study show that strengthening the collaboration and technical capabilities of archivists is very important so that all historical artifacts of the nation are maintained in their authenticity, protected, and can be widely accessed by future generations.

Until now, truancy behavior is still frequently found among students during school hours. This behavior is caused by various factors, such as waking up late, staying up too late at night, feeling tired or sleepy, vehicle problems such as flat tires, lack of motivation to go to school, and other reasons. This problem has become an important concern for school counselors in providing assistance, one of which is through individual counseling services. Students’ participation in the learning process greatly affects the smoothness of learning and the results achieved at school. If truancy behavior continues to be ignored, it can lead to more serious impacts and even increase the risk of students dropping out of school. Therefore, school counselors have an important role in helping overcome this problem with support from students, subject teachers, and parents. One method that can be applied is individual counseling using the behavior contract technique. This technique aims to help students change negative behavior into more disciplined behavior so that truancy habits can be reduced and not repeated again. This study used a qualitative method with interview techniques for data collection. The results of the study showed that individual counseling services using the behavior contract technique were effective in helping overcome truancy behavior among students.

Adolescents are considered a vulnerable group to nutritional problems because they experience rapid physical growth accompanied by lifestyle changes and unhealthy eating habits. The increasing prevalence of overweight and obesity among teenagers has become a major public health concern that requires serious attention. This study was conducted to examine the relationship between peer influence, the frequency of eating out, and fast-food consumption habits with the incidence of overweight among students at SMAN 1 Surabaya. The research applied a quantitative approach using an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional method. A total of 81 students participated in the study and were selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires, SQ-FFQ forms, and anthropometric measurements, then analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. The findings revealed significant associations between peer influence, eating out frequency, and fast-food consumption habits with the occurrence of overweight among adolescents. Students who more frequently consumed meals outside the home and regularly ate fast food showed a greater tendency to experience overweight and obesity. These results indicate that social environments and modern dietary patterns contribute to the increasing prevalence of overweight among adolescents. Therefore, nutrition education and healthy lifestyle promotion should be strengthened through the involvement of schools, families, and peer groups.

Parental conflict is a significant risk factor that threatens the psychological well-being of adolescents. This study aims to review the relationship between parental conflict and anxiety levels in adolescents through a qualitative literature approach. Various research findings consistently show that high-frequency and high-intensity parental conflict contributes to increased anxiety, emotional insecurity, and maladaptive coping in adolescents. The mechanisms underlying this relationship include the emotional security theory, the cognitive-contextual framework, and the spillover hypothesis, each of which explains how conflict in the family system propagates psychologically to children. The results of this literature study confirm that adolescents who are regularly exposed to parental conflict show a significantly higher risk of developing generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and related internalizing problems. The family environment, particularly the quality of the parental relationship, is the dominant proximal determinant of adolescent mental health. Furthermore, parental conflict has been shown to undermine parent-child attachment, destabilize family functioning, and trigger chronic stress responses in adolescents who are still developing emotional regulation capacities. In the Indonesian context, this problem is particularly urgent given the high prevalence of mental health disorders among adolescents aged 15–24 years. Therefore, integrated preventive interventions involving families, schools, and mental health professionals are urgently needed.

Criminal law socialization is a crucial form of community empowerment in building awareness, compliance, and legal order in the social environment. This activity is motivated by the limited understanding among some members of the public regarding what constitutes a crime, the potential legal consequences, and the appropriate steps to take when facing legal issues. This lack of legal literacy can leave people vulnerable to committing violations, becoming victims of crime, or resolving conflicts in ways that are inconsistent with legal provisions. Therefore, this socialization activity aims to provide a basic understanding of criminal law, raise public awareness of the importance of obeying the law, and encourage active community participation in creating a safe, orderly, and just environment. The activity is implemented through counseling, interactive discussions, questions and answers, and the presentation of simple case studies relevant to everyday life. The material presented includes the definition of criminal law, types of crimes frequently occurring in society, legal sanctions, the rights and obligations of citizens, and the role of the community in preventing legal violations. Through a communicative and participatory approach, it is hoped that the community will more easily understand the material and be able to connect it to real-world problems in their environment. The expected outcomes of this activity are increased public understanding of criminal law, increased awareness to avoid unlawful acts, and increased public courage to report criminal acts to the authorities. Thus, criminal law socialization serves not only as an educational activity but also as a community empowerment strategy in building a legal culture. This activity is expected to encourage the formation of a legally aware, responsible community that plays an active role in creating a law-abiding environment.

Early marriage is a social phenomenon that remains prevalent in Indonesia and gives rise to various problems in family life. This article aims to analyze the implications of early marriage in light of the Code of Canon Law (CCL) Nos. 1055 and 1056 in the context of Catholic couples. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through a literature review of books, scientific journals, and Church documents. The findings indicate that the CIC affirms marriage as a sacred covenant between a man and a woman oriented toward the bonum coniugum (the good of the couple), openness to children, and characterized by unity and indissolubility. In the context of early marriage, various implications were identified, such as emotional immaturity that triggers domestic conflicts, a high risk of divorce, low levels of education, and impacts on the health of mothers and children. Additionally, early marriage also indicates a weak understanding of the sacramental dimension and family responsibilities, including childrearing. Thus, CIC Nos. 1055 and 1056 provide an important normative foundation that marriage requires human, spiritual, and social maturity for the realization of a wholesome and prosperous Catholic family.

Chronic kidney disease is a progressive disease requiring long-term hemodialysis therapy that may cause physical, psychological, social, and spiritual problems. Patients undergoing hemodialysis often experience spiritual distress due to changes in health conditions and dependence on therapy. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the duration of hemodialysis and the level of spiritual distress in chronic kidney disease patients at the Hemodialysis Unit of Baiturrahim Hospital Jambi. This study used a quantitative design with a cross sectional approach. The sample consisted of 57 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a spiritual distress questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.955. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that most respondents underwent hemodialysis for ≥12 months, totaling 39 respondents (68.4%), and the majority experienced moderate spiritual distress, totaling 20 respondents (35.1%). Statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.030 (p<0.05), indicating a significant relationship between the duration of hemodialysis and the level of spiritual distress in chronic kidney disease patients. The longer patients undergo hemodialysis, the lighter the spiritual distress tends to be because patients gradually adapt to their disease condition and therapy.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impairments in social interaction, communication difficulties, and restricted and repetitive behaviors. In addition to these core symptoms, children with ASD often experience gastrointestinal disturbances that are thought to be related to the gut–brain axis. One non-pharmacological intervention that has been widely studied to reduce ASD symptoms is the gluten-free casein-free (GFCF) diet. However, evidence regarding its effectiveness in improving behavioral symptoms remains inconsistent. This study aims to review previous research on the impact of gluten and casein consumption on behavioral symptoms in children with ASD using a narrative literature review approach. Literature searches were conducted in PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar for articles published between 2014 and 2024 using the keywords Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), behavior, GFCF diet, gluten, and casein. The review results indicate that most studies report potential benefits of the GFCF diet in improving certain behavioral symptoms in children with ASD, particularly hyperactivity, behavioral problems, stereotypical behavior, attention, and cognitive function. Some studies also show improvements in autism evaluation scores after dietary implementation over a specific period. However, findings remain inconsistent due to differences in study design, sample size, intervention duration, dietary adherence, and the heterogeneity of ASD characteristics among children. In conclusion, the GFCF diet has potential as a complementary intervention to improve certain behavioral symptoms in children with ASD, but further high-quality studies with larger samples are needed to confirm its effectiveness more consistently.

Breast tumors are classified into two types, namely benign and malignant tumors, the latter commonly referred to as breast cancer. Breast cancer is one of the major health problems affecting women worldwide, including in Indonesia. According to WHO data in 2022, there were 2.3 million breast cancer cases with 685,000 deaths globally, while in Indonesia, 396,914 cases and 234,511 deaths were reported. The high incidence rate is exacerbated by low public awareness in recognizing early symptoms and performing early detection, resulting in 60–70% of cases being diagnosed at an advanced stage, supported by findings that 65.6% of female students still have a low level of knowledge. Female students were selected as research subjects because they are in a vulnerable reproductive age group and have an important role in increasing awareness of early detection, yet they still have limited knowledge. Based on this, this study aims to design a web-based early detection system for breast tumor risk using the Forward Chaining method, which functions as a tool to identify early symptoms, assess risk levels, and provide information on prevention and initial management. This study employed the method with the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) model, consisting of the stages of assessment, knowledge acquisition, design, testing, and documentation, along with the Forward Chaining inference method.

The management of medicines and Medical Consumables (MCs) plays a crucial role in improving the quality of pharmaceutical services in hospitals. Common problems include stock imbalances, such as shortages and overstocking, which negatively affect service efficiency, increase operational costs, and raise the risk of product expiration. These issues are often caused by inadequate planning that is not based on consumption data, as well as limited knowledge of pharmacy personnel in applying appropriate inventory control methods. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of pharmacy staff in managing inventory using fast moving and slow moving methods based on real hospital data. The implementation method consisted of education, training, and hands-on mentoring conducted in several stages. The activity began with the analysis of medicine and medical consumables usage data from January to December 2025 at Labuang Baji Regional General Hospital, followed by training on pharmaceutical logistics management, and continued with practical exercises on classification and inventory control. Evaluation was carried out through discussions, case studies, and observation of participants’ ability to apply the methods. The results showed that 50.7% of medicines and 52.4% of medical consumables were categorized as fast moving, while the remaining items were classified as slow moving. After the intervention, there was a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of inventory classification, stock turnover analysis, and data-based planning. Participants were also able to identify items at risk of stock-outs and overstocking, enabling more appropriate control measures. This activity had a positive impact on the efficiency of pharmaceutical inventory management, reduced the risk of stock-outs and overstocking, and supported the improvement of healthcare service quality. Therefore, the fast moving and slow moving methods can be considered effective and applicable approaches for data-driven pharmaceutical inventory management in hospital settings
