Burnout is a psychological issue often faced by Civil Servants (ASN) due to demanding job responsibilities, negatively impacting performance, motivation, job satisfaction, and productivity. Excessive workload is a primary factor contributing to burnout, making it essential to examine their relationship in the governmental context. This study investigates the perception of workload and the level of burnout among civil servants at the National Unity and Political Agency (Kesbangpol) of Jambi Province. Using a quantitative correlational approach, the study involved 65 civil servants selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered through an online questionnaire consisting of a workload perception scale (30 items) and a burnout scale (22 items). The Pearson Product Moment correlation test with SPSS software was used for data analysis. Descriptive results showed that most respondents reported moderate to high levels for both variables. A correlation coefficient of r = 0.503 with a significance level of p = 0.001 (p < 0.05) indicates a significant positive relationship between workload perception and burnout. This suggests that higher perceived workload increases the likelihood of experiencing burnout. To reduce burnout and maintain optimal performance, balanced workload management, social support, and stress management strategies are essential for civil servants.

Work fatigue is one of the factors that contribute to decreased productivity and increased risk of occupational accidents. This study aims to analyze various factors associated with work fatigue among production workers at PT. X in 2025. The research employed an analytical quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 53 respondents selected using total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires covering worker characteristics (age, nutritional status, medical history, smoking habits, years of service, and work stress) as well as levels of work fatigue. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The findings revealed that 56.6% of workers experienced high levels of fatigue. There were significant associations between age (p=0.023; PR=1.836), nutritional status (p=0.021; PR=1.786), medical history (p=0.025; PR=1.789), smoking habits (p=0.039; PR=1.706), years of service (p=0.015; PR=1.912), and work stress (p=0.032; PR=0.574) with work fatigue. The results indicate that workers who are at-risk age (≥35 years), have abnormal nutritional status, a history of illness, smoking habits, and longer years of service are more likely to experience work fatigue. However, high work stress showed a negative relationship, suggesting a protective effect against fatigue. In conclusion, there is a relationship between age, nutritional status, medical history, smoking habits, years of service, and work stress with work fatigue among production workers at PT. X.

This study aims to determine the effect of work overload, work stress, and work motivation on the turnover intention of employees at PT HWI's sewing computer production operators. The study utilizes three independent variables (endogenous), namely work overload, work stress, and work motivation, and one dependent variable (exogenous), turnover intention. The population in this study consisted of employees in the sewing computer section at PT HWI, with 99 respondents sampled for analysis. The results of the data analysis indicate that the indicators are valid and reliable. The classical assumption test showed no multicollinearity in the data. In the hypothesis testing, the variables of work overload, work stress, and work motivation were found to have no significant effect on turnover intention. These findings suggest that while work overload, stress, and motivation play important roles in employee well-being, they do not significantly impact the intention to leave the organization at PT HWI. Future studies could explore other factors influencing turnover intention and the dynamics between these variables.

Field Work Practice (PKL) at Tambak Mina Bangkit Bersama (MIBAMA), Karangrejo, Banyuwangi, was conducted from June 26 to August 3, 2024, with the aim of understanding the process of growing Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp in HDPE ponds. Vaname shrimp farming involves pond preparation, seedling stocking, feed management, and water quality monitoring to optimize shrimp growth. Growth monitoring was carried out through sampling, resulting in an Average Daily Growth (ADG) value ranging from 0.41 to 0.71 grams per day. Water quality measurements showed that temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen levels were still within safe ranges, although several parameters such as salinity, TDS, and ORP required special attention. Partial and total harvesting resulted in an accumulated production of 5.1 tons in this cycle. The use of HDPE ponds proved effective in maintaining the aquaculture environment and supporting production intensification. This study emphasizes the importance of proper water and feed quality management to enhance shrimp productivity and health, while also providing recommendations for continuous monitoring to address stress factors in shrimp during cultivation.

Hypertension is a "silent disease" with a high prevalence that can be triggered by modifiable risk factors such as stress and smoking. Sei Langkai Community Health Center shows the highest hypertension service rate (20.12%) in Batam City with Sei Langkai Village having 50% of hypertension sufferers from the health center's working area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between stress and smoking with the incidence of hypertension in Sei Langkai Village, the Working Area of ​​UPTD Sei Langkai Community Health Center, Batam City. This research method is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The accessible population is residents aged >17 years in RW 17 RT 05 Sei Langkai Village (334 people). A sample of 75 respondents was selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Data collection used the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire to measure stress and the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND) to measure smoking dependence, as well as blood pressure observations. Data analysis used the chi-square test and Spearman correlation. The results showed a significant association between stress and hypertension (p=0.001; PR=5.688; 95% CI: 2.200-14.705). Of the 47 respondents experiencing stress, 87.2% had hypertension. There was a significant association between smoking and hypertension (p<0.001; r=0.585). Of the 28 respondents with heavy smoking habits, 96.4% had hypertension. The study concluded that stress and smoking are significantly associated with hypertension. Respondents with stress had a 5.688-fold higher risk of developing hypertension. The more severe the smoking habits, the higher the risk of hypertension.

The development of wearable technology, especially smartwatches, opens up great opportunities in preventive health monitoring, especially in rural areas such as Sembung Village, Wringinanom, Gresik, where access to health services is limited. However, this technology is still alien to the local community. Preliminary surveys show that the majority of citizens, including health cadres, have never used or even seen a smartwatch in person, and view it as a luxury and irrelevant item. In fact, the potential of smartwatches as “digital health assistants” is huge from tracking heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO₂), stress levels, to physical activity reminders that are essential for early detection of health disorders. This service activity aims to improve digital literacy and adoption of smartwatch technology through a participatory educational approach and direct assistance. Implementation methods include: (1) coordination with the village government and health workers, (2) Interactive socialization using local languages, (3) step-by-step practical training, (4) simulation of application in the field, and (5) pre-test and post-test evaluation of 27 participants (25 health cadres, 1 midwife, 1 nurse). The results showed significant improvements: function understanding from the original value of 1.8 increased to 4.2, consumption interest from the original value of 2.1 increased to 4.0, benefit perception from the original value of 1.9 increased to 4.3, self confidence from the original value of 1.5 increased to 3.8, and digital literacy awareness from the original value of 2.0 increased to 4.1. The hands-on approach proved effective in changing participants ' mindset from skeptical to enthusiastic, proving that the digital divide is not due to incompetence, but the lack of access to contextual education. The implication is that smartwatch has the potential to become a strategic tool for village health cadres in early detection and real-time data-based health education, provided that it is supported by sustainable mentoring.

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-family conflict, job stress, and compensation on employee performance at PT Nusa Gas Pratiwi. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, and data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 35 permanent employees. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results indicate that work-family conflict, job stress, and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.900 implies that these three variables explain 90% of employee performance variation, while 10% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings reinforce the Job Demand-Resource and Role Enrichment theories, suggesting that job stress and role conflict can become positive driving forces when balanced with fair compensation and organizational support. Therefore, maintaining equilibrium between psychological and economic factors is essential to enhance employee productivity and loyalty.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of mental workload on employee performance, the effect of work stress on employee performance, the work environment on employee performance and to analyze the effect of mental workload, work stress, and work environment simultaneously on the performance of employees of PT. Nutrisius Sari Persada. This research design uses quantitative methods with an associative approach and data collection techniques of library research and field research. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis techniques using data processing tools Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software by testing mental workload variables (X1), work stress (X2), work environment (X3) and employee performance (Y). The results of this study indicate that the mental workload variable (X1) on employee performance (Y) has a T-test value of (2.013> 1.96) and P values of (0.045 < 0.05), the work stress variable (X2) has a T-test value of (10.237> 1.96) and P values of (0, 000 < 0.05), the work environment variable (X3) has a T-test value of (2.013> 1.96) and P values of (0.045 < 0.05), so it can be concluded that the mental workload variable (X1), work stress (X2) and the work environment (X3) have an influence on employee performance (Y). While simultaneously mental workload (X1), work stress (X2) and work environment (X3) variables on employee performance (Y). The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value (Adjusted Rsquare) of 0.973, meaning that all independent variables are declared strong with a value of 97% and the remaining 3% is influenced by other variables outside the Mental Workload, Work Stress and Work Environment variables.

Introduction: Back pain during pregnancy is a problem that is often experienced by pregnant women and is complex because it involves not only physical changes, but also psychological aspects. Changes in body biomechanics, weight gain, and shifting of the center of gravity due to uterine enlargement are the main factors that trigger pain complaints, especially in the lower back area. This condition can have a negative impact on the quality of life of pregnant women, interfere with daily activities, and even worsen emotional states due to the emergence of anxiety, fear, and stress if not managed properly. Treatment of back pain in pregnant women can be done through safe non-pharmacological methods, one of which is prenatal yoga. Yoga practice for pregnant women has been proven to provide benefits in the form of relaxation, posture improvement, and increased muscle elasticity. One of the effective movements is the Angry Cat Pose because it is able to stretch the back muscles, improve blood circulation, and reduce pressure on the lower spine. Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect  of Angry Cat Pose  exercise on the intensity of back pain in pregnant women in the third trimester. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The study sample consisted of 31 pregnant women in the third trimester with complaints of back pain who visited the Gunungpati Health Center. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire, while the data analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of <0.05. Results: The results showed a significant effect of the Angry Cat Pose  exercise on the reduction of back pain in pregnant women in the third trimester with p=0.000. After the intervention, the majority of respondents experienced a decrease in pain to the mild category on a scale of 1–3. Conclusion: The Angry Cat Pose  exercise has been shown to be effective in reducing back pain in third trimester pregnant women, so it can be recommended as a safe, simple, and routine nonpharmacological intervention under the supervision of health workers.

Coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages worldwide, including in Indonesia. Coffee consumption has become part of people's daily habits, whether as a companion for work, relaxation, or as part of social culture. However, this habit is often associated with the potential for increased blood pressure due to caffeine, which is a stimulant to the central nervous system and can affect the function of the heart and blood vessels. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the frequency of coffee consumption and systolic and diastolic blood pressure in adults. The research method used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study sample consisted of 100 adult respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria, such as not currently taking antihypertensive medication and having no history of serious cardiovascular disease. Data collection was carried out in two stages. First, respondents completed a questionnaire containing information on the frequency and habits of coffee consumption, including the number of cups per day and the type of coffee consumed. Second, blood pressure was measured using a digital sphygmomanometer to obtain accurate systolic and diastolic blood pressure data. The results of the statistical analysis showed a significant positive correlation between the frequency of coffee consumption and increases in blood pressure, both systolic and diastolic. Specifically, respondents who consumed more than two cups of coffee per day tended to have higher blood pressure values compared to those who consumed one cup or less. This finding has important implications for health promotion efforts, particularly in educating the public about wise coffee consumption. Recommendations include limiting coffee intake, choosing coffee with low caffeine content, and balancing this with a healthy diet, regular physical activity, and stress management as part of a healthy lifestyle.

This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress, work discipline, and work environment on employee productivity at UD. Podo Seneng. A quantitative approach was employed using survey methods through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The sampling technique applied was saturated sampling, involving the entire population of 40 employees. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis supported by t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that, partially, work stress has a negative but insignificant effect on productivity. In contrast, work discipline and work environment have a positive and significant effect on productivity. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly influence employee productivity, contributing 49.7% to the variance. These findings indicate that strengthening work discipline and creating a conducive work environment are dominant factors in improving productivity, while the effect of work stress remains inconsistent and requires further investigation in different organizational contexts.

PT Telkom Indonesia is a state-owned telecommunications and information technology company in Indonesia that provides various digital and telecommunication services. The data collection technique used is non-probability sampling with a saturated sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collected through research instruments. The data analysis techniques used include instrument testing, descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 26. The results of the study show that the t-count value for the Leadership Style variable is less than the t-table value (0.922 < 2.042) and the significance value in the t-test is 0.364 > 0.05. This indicates that Leadership Style (X1) does not have a significant effect on Work Motivation (Y) of employees at PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Bekasi. Meanwhile, the t-count value for the Work Stress variable is also less than the t-table value (-0.480 < 2.042) and the significance value is 0.635 > 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Work Stress (X2) does not have a negative or significant effect on Work Motivation (Y) of employees at PT Telkom Indonesia Witel Bekasi. Simultaneously, both Leadership Style (X1) and Work Stress (X2) do not have a significant effect on Work Motivation (Y). This is shown by the F-test result, where the F-count value (0.523) is lower than the F-table value (3.316), and the significance value of 0.598 is greater than 0.05.

Labor-intensive garment industries are experiencing significant employment challenges in the post-pandemic era, which has direct implications for the achievement of organizational objectives. This study was conducted to examine the effects of work-life balance, workload, and job stress on turnover intention among employees of PT 3Di Garmentech in West Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 70 respondents, selected using a saturated sampling technique, meaning all members of the population were included as respondents. Data collection was carried out through structured questionnaires, and the analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression methods, complemented by interval value interpretation on a Likert scale. The data were processed with the help of Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 26 to ensure accuracy in statistical testing. Findings from the study revealed that workload and job stress significantly and positively influenced turnover intention, indicating that higher levels of these factors increased employees’ desire to leave the company. Meanwhile, work-life balance showed no significant impact on turnover intention, suggesting that despite potential difficulties in balancing personal and professional roles, employees’ decisions to resign were more strongly driven by excessive workload and heightened job stress. These results emphasize the importance for garment companies to manage workload effectively and reduce stress levels to maintain employee retention and organizational stability.

This report discusses the mental workload of employees in the Human Resources (HR) Department of PT X in Gresik, which is an important concern in the context of employee productivity and well-being. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence mental workload and provide recommendations for improvement. The research methods used include observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to all HR employees, with the NASA TLX approach to measure the level of mental workload. The research sample consists of eight employees selected based on the questionnaire results. The data analysis technique was carried out by identifying factors that influence mental workload and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions through counseling sessions. The research results show that mental workload is influenced by high job demands, lack of team support, and poor communication. The counseling sessions conducted had a positive impact on employee stress management. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on mental workload within the organizational context, as well as recommendations for more humane policies. The implications of this research highlight the importance of paying attention to employees' mental well-being to enhance productivity and create a healthier work environment. This research is expected to serve as a reference for management in designing strategies that support employee well-being.

This study examines how women construct their social roles in managing dual responsibilities and maintaining work life balance through participation in the Women’s Cycling Community (WCC) Bandung. Using the social construction theory of Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann, which includes objectivation, externalization, and internalization, this research applies a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The key informants were members of WCC Bandung, while supporting informants included husbands, children, and a psychologist. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with validity tested through triangulation and member checking. The findings show that women do not perceive dual roles as a burden but as an integral part of their identities. Family support, effective communication, and the presence of community are crucial in developing time management strategies and maintaining balance between domestic and professional responsibilities. The study also reveals that involvement in WCC Bandung provides women with a platform to express themselves, build solidarity, and gain emotional support from peers who share similar challenges. Cycling activities are not only a hobby but also serve as a medium for stress release, physical health improvement, and social networking. The study concludes that participation in WCC Bandung helps women construct an empowered, flexible, and harmonious self-identity through social support and a positive community environment, ultimately shaping a more holistic understanding of work life balance in their everyday lives.

Results this research show that (1) stress Work negative impact and significant towards service excellence, the higher the nurse's work stress, the lower it is excellent service nurses, and vice versa lower stress Work nurse so increasingly supported by service excellence nurse. Stress Work proven is Wrong One factor Which affect service excellence; (2) behavior caring nurse influential positive to service excellence Which means that that The higher the nurse's caring behavior, the higher the service excellence, and vice versa, the lower the caring behavior. Caring nurse so the more low service excellence. Behavior caring nurse proven is wrong one factor which affect service excellence; (3) culture work no influential towards service excellence and it can be concluded that work culture has not been proven to be a factor that influences service excellence.

This study examines the impact of workload and work stress on employee job satisfaction at PT Inhutani I UMI Gresik, a wood-processing company operating under Perum Perhutani. The research employed a quantitative design with an associative (causal) approach to identify the extent to which workload and stress contribute to variations in job satisfaction. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 48 employees selected using a simple random sampling method. The analytical process involved validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, as well as t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that workload and work stress, when considered simultaneously, have a significant influence on job satisfaction. However, partial testing revealed that workload did not exert a significant effect, while work stress had a statistically significant negative impact on satisfaction. Regression analysis further demonstrated that work stress emerged as the dominant predictor, accounting for a larger proportion of variance compared to workload, as reflected by the higher beta coefficient and partial determination value. These findings suggest that while workload may serve as a motivator when maintained within reasonable limits, unmanaged stress arising from role ambiguity, conflicting demands, and organizational pressures significantly undermines job satisfaction. The study underscores the importance of stress management strategies within organizations, particularly in high-demand industries such as forestry and wood processing. Practical implications include the need for supportive leadership, effective communication, realistic target-setting, and the implementation of employee assistance programs. By addressing stress more effectively, organizations can enhance employee well-being, foster greater job satisfaction, and ultimately improve overall organizational performance.

Stress can be defined as a condition of tension that affects various aspects of a person’s life. Work-related stress may be caused by several factors, such as excessive workload, tight deadlines, conflicts with colleagues, or uncertainty in the workplace. One method that can be applied to manage stress is the Benson Relaxation Technique. The Benson Technique is a relaxation method that helps relieve bodily tension, with the expectation of improving sleep quality and preparing individuals to achieve a deeper connection with the Creator or spiritual being. This community service activity aimed to provide education regarding the Benson Relaxation Technique to reduce work-related stress among female workers at Soun Scorpio Factory in Karangsoka Village. The methods used in this activity included measuring stress levels using a work stress instrument, assessing knowledge levels through pre-test and post-test questionnaires, and conducting evaluations using observation sheets. The activity involved 25 female workers at Soun Scorpio Factory who received education on the Benson Technique, delivered in two sessions. The evaluation results showed that 84% of the participants were in the moderate stress category, and 16% were in the low-stress category. Knowledge evaluation results indicated that 16 participants (64%) had good knowledge, while 9 participants (36%) had sufficient knowledge. After the intervention, all respondents (100%) showed a reduction in stress levels to the low-stress category. Hospital employees play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare services; however, diverse job demands often lead to mental health issues such as work-related stress. Stress arises from internal or external pressures and can negatively impact service quality. Spirituality is believed to be an effective coping mechanism, as individuals with higher levels of spirituality tend to be more adaptive, tolerant, and resilient in facing crises. This study aims to analyze the relationship between spirituality levels and stress levels among employees at Charlie Hospital Demak. This research employed a cross-sectional design with a sample of 110 employees selected through probability sampling using the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a spirituality questionnaire and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) to measure stress levels. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rho correlation test. The results revealed a significant negative correlation between spirituality and stress, with a correlation coefficient of -0.491 and a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates that higher levels of spirituality are associated with lower levels of stress. Univariate analysis showed that most respondents had moderate spirituality levels (46.4%) and mild stress levels (41.8%). These findings highlight that enhancing spirituality may contribute to reducing stress among hospital employees.

Work stress is a prevalent and complex phenomenon frequently encountered by inpatient nurses as a result of the intense physical, emotional, and psychological demands inherent in their professional responsibilities. Nurses are required to deliver high-quality care under conditions of time pressure, emotional strain, and patient diversity, which can increase their susceptibility to stress. Individual factors—including age, gender, marital status, years of service, personality type, and self-assessment—play a crucial role in shaping nurses’ capacity to adapt to these pressures and maintain their performance. This study aims to comprehensively describe the influence of individual factors on work stress among inpatient nurses at RSUP Dr. Sitanala in 2025. Employing a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach, a total of 34 inpatient nurses were recruited using total sampling. Data were collected using the NIOSH Job Stress Questionnaire, which measures multiple aspects of job-related stress. The results indicate that younger nurses, those with shorter work tenure, and individuals exhibiting type A personality traits are more vulnerable to experiencing high levels of stress compared to their counterparts. These findings underscore that individual characteristics significantly contribute to variations in work stress levels. The study emphasizes the importance of developing responsive human resource management strategies, such as stress management training, mentoring, and supportive work environments, to strengthen resilience and improve nurses’ well-being. By identifying and addressing these individual factors, healthcare organizations can enhance employee retention, promote patient safety, and ensure sustainable quality of care.
