Empowering pregnant women in their third trimester through Respectful Maternity Care-based childbirth preparation counseling is a relevant promotive and preventive strategy for improving maternal health. This counseling not only provides knowledge about the signs of labor, stages of labor, pain management options, and birth planning, but also equips mothers with an understanding of their rights in midwifery care. Childbirth preparation education often focuses solely on clinical aspects and fails to fully address the psychosocial aspects and the rights of mothers as service recipients. This has the potential to lead to an unpleasant childbirth experience and even contribute to disrespect and abuse during labor. This counseling can equip mothers with an understanding of their rights in midwifery care. With an empathetic, participatory, and woman-centered approach, pregnant women are expected to be able to recognize their needs, convey their preferences, and communicate effectively with health workers. The purpose of this counseling is to improve pregnant women's knowledge before and after being empowered in their third trimester through Respectful Maternity Care-based childbirth preparation counseling.

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers to possess adequate competence in developing contextual and meaningful Madrasah Lesson Plans (RPM). One of the main challenges lies in teachers’ ability to integrate deep learning approaches into instructional planning. This community service program aimed to enhance the competence of teachers at SD IT Al-Markazul Islami in developing deep learning–based Merdeka Curriculum lesson plans. The program employed a structured and participatory approach through training and mentoring activities, including conceptual presentations, group discussions, and hands-on practice in lesson plan development. Evaluation was conducted using a competence questionnaire administered to 20 participating teachers in the pretest and posttest stages. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results indicated that teachers’ competence scores in the pretest ranged from 54 to 63, with a mean score of 58.7, which fell into the moderate category. Following the intervention, posttest scores increased to a range of 89–97, with a mean score of 92.9, categorized as high. The improvement in scores ranged from 33 to 35 points for each participant. These findings demonstrate that the training and mentoring activities were effective in enhancing teachers’ competence in developing lesson plans aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum and deep learning approaches.

The acceleration of stunting reduction in Ponorogo Regency faces challenges regarding the complexity of the issue and regional fiscal constraints, necessitating strategic cross-sectoral collaboration. This study aims to evaluate the synergy of Bank BCA's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program through the "Bakti BCA" scheme in supporting local government policies related to specific and sensitive nutrition interventions. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with key informants from Bank BCA Ponorogo management, Bappeda, the Health Office, and beneficiary families, complemented by participatory observation and a review of the Regional Action Plan (RAD) documents. Data analysis was performed interactively by integrating the Collaborative Governance framework from Ansell and Gash, William N. Dunn's six policy evaluation criteria, and Mark Moore's Public Value concept to analyze the dynamics of cooperation and program performance achievements. The results indicate that the established synergy meets the criteria of appropriateness and effectiveness, where CSR interventions successfully bridged the gap in sanitation services and nutritional fulfillment in stunting locus villages uncovered by the regional budget (APBD). This collaboration proved successful in creating public value in the form of improved physical health status of toddlers, regional budget efficiency, and high community responsiveness. It can be concluded that this strategic partnership effectively accelerates the achievement of stunting reduction targets through equitable resource distribution. This study recommends that private sector engagement be formally integrated from the development planning deliberation (Musrenbang) stage to ensure long-term impact sustainability.

Curriculum management is a strategic component of Islamic education because it plays an important role in achieving educational objectives and internalizing Islamic values within the learning process. Nevertheless, in practice, many schools continue to face managerial challenges in implementing the curriculum effectively. This study aims to evaluate curriculum management at MTs Persis 23 Cirengit based on the core functions of Islamic Educational Management, namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC). The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The findings reveal that the POAC functions have been formally applied but have not yet operated as an integrated managerial cycle oriented toward continuous quality improvement. The growth of the digital economy has accelerated the development of online shops as part of digital MSMEs; however, this growth has not been fully supported by systematic financial management practices. This study aims to analyze financial management strategies applied by online shops in Parepare City based on four main indicators: financial planning, recording, reporting, and control. This research employed a qualitative approach within a postpositivist paradigm. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation from five online shops selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis followed an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data credibility was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that financial management practices have been implemented by all research objects but remain at a basic level. Financial planning is primarily short-term and experience-based, financial recording is predominantly manual, financial reporting does not yet include formal profit and loss analysis, and financial control lacks measurable quantitative indicators. These results indicate that the main challenge in online shop financial management lies not in the absence of financial practices, but in the quality of implementation and the use of financial data for strategic decision-making. This study is expected to contribute empirically to the literature on digital MSME financial management and provide practical guidance for online shop owners to improve sustainable financial management practices.

This study aimed to investigate the implementation of the BERDES (Bersih Desa) Program as an innovative strategy to foster environmental awareness among elementary school students at SD Negeri 2 Demulih. The program was designed using a participatory approach based on the Participatory Action Learning Sistem (PALS) method, which engaged students as active participants in identifying problems, planning, executing, and evaluating real actions in their school and local community environments. The research found that active student involvement in cleaning activities, waste management socialisation, and collective reflection significantly enhanced positive attitudes and social responsibility towards environmental conservation from an early age. Despite challenges such as limited frequency of program activities and common misconceptions about waste classification (organic, inorganic, residual), the BERDES program successfully served as an effective educational tool that embedded environmental care values among rural youth. The findings emphasised the critical role of schools as centres for environmental character education that combine theoretical knowledge with practical engagement to address real environmental issues.

This study analyzes multi-stakeholder collaboration in innovation-based regional development planning at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Sidoarjo Regency, emphasizing institutional mechanisms, data integration and digital innovation, joint financing schemes, and actor capacity and participation dynamics. The research focuses on the need to improve the effectiveness of development planning through planned, participatory, and data-driven intersectoral collaboration. Applying a qualitative case study approach, information was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and analysis of planning documents. It was then analyzed using data reduction, thematic grouping, and source triangulation techniques. The research findings indicate that institutional synergy has been realized through formal forums such as development planning meetings and group discussions. However, coordination remains suboptimal due to overlapping roles between regional government agencies and the lack of a sustainable collaborative mechanism. Digital data integration still faces challenges due to limited platform content and user technical capabilities, resulting in data utilization not fully supporting evidence-based decisions. In terms of financing, collaborative schemes have begun to be implemented but are inconsistent, particularly in combining funding sources from various sectors. The capabilities of actors show striking differences, which impact the quality of public engagement and the efficiency of facilitating the planning process. Overall, these results confirm that the effectiveness of innovative planning is largely determined by the integration of digital systems, strengthening collaboration between stakeholders, and enhancing institutional capacity. This study suggests designing a more organized, interactive, and long-term multi-actor synergy model.

Participatory village development planning is often treated as a technical-administrative routine. In practice, however, planning is inseparable from political dynamics that shape who participates, whose interests prevail, and how scarce resources are allocated. This community empowerment program (PKM) in Kedung Udi Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, aimed to strengthen village governance by enhancing the capacity of village officials and community representatives to design and facilitate participatory planning while explicitly addressing the political dimension of planning. The main intervention was a workshop conducted on 22 August 2025, preceded by coordination and situational observation. Workshop modules emphasized: (1) planning as a political decision; (2) navigating dual arenas: formal (Musdes/Musrenbang and RPJMDes, RKPDes, APBDes) and informal (elite networks and gatekeeping); (3) multi-level contestation and policy alignment; and (4) practical tools, including power–interest mapping, programmatic agreements, program tagging for alignment with district planning documents, and transparency/anti elite capture mechanisms. The program resulted in improved participant literacy regarding power relations in planning and produced a follow-up action plan oriented toward institutional advocacy, continuous social control, and routine capacity reinforcement through a university and village partnership.

The professional competence of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers plays a decisive role in determining the quality of learning at the elementary school level. In practice, many teachers still encounter challenges in mastering subject content, developing systematic teaching materials, applying innovative learning strategies, and integrating educational technology into classroom activities. These conditions indicate the need for structured professional development efforts through collaborative forums. This study aims to analyze the role of the Islamic Education Teachers Working Group (KKG PAI) in maximizing the professional competence of PAI teachers in public elementary schools in Panti District, Pasaman Regency, and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing its implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving the KKG supervisor, the head of KKG PAI, and member teachers. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that KKG PAI functions as a strategic platform for collaborative lesson planning, subject-matter enrichment, peer reflection, and technology-based instructional training. Supporting factors include strong teacher commitment and collaborative culture, while limitations in facilities and technological disparities remain challenges. This research investigates the execution of data-informed and inclusive regional development planning within the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Sidoarjo Regency, concentrating on four analytical aspects: data integration and management abilities, the efficiency of participatory processes, technical and institutional obstacles concerning interoperability, and capacity-building strategies for facilitators tasked with translating public aspirations into planning priorities. The study is positioned within the national framework to establish evidence-based and participatory planning in reaction to the growing complexity regional development. Despite Bappeda Sidoarjo implementing multiple data platforms and participatory channels such Musrenbang forums, online submission systems, and sector-specific information systems the results indicate that issues like data fragmentation, insufficient digital literacy, and ineffective follow-up mechanisms continue to impede planning effectiveness. Employing qualitative methodology that includes in-depth interviews, observation, and document review, the research reveals that data integration has not reached single source of truth because of the lack of a cohesive data architecture and compatible standards among government entities. Participatory methods have increased inclusivity, but the quality of proposals and verification processes is still variable, hindering the incorporation of grassroots feedback into planning priorities. Moreover, the ability of facilitators the subdistrict and village levels is crucial in determining the quality of the compiled proposals. The research ends by highlighting the importance of improved data governance, increased actor capability, revised participatory processes, and clear follow-up mechanisms. Suggestions encompass constructing a unified data framework, offering ongoing technical training, standardizing digital Musrenbang processes, and establishing publicly available proposal-tracking system integrated within the yearly planning cycle.

Rapid urbanization, especially in developing countries, has worsened spatial inequality and environmental degradation, impacting vulnerable urban communities living in informal settlements with limited access to services and increased environmental risks. This study examines the role of spatial planning law in promoting social justice and environmental protection in urban areas, particularly for marginalized populations. While spatial planning laws have the potential to promote equity and sustainability, inconsistent enforcement and inadequate evaluation mechanisms reduce their effectiveness. Using a qualitative legal analysis approach, the research reviews statutory frameworks, urban planning documents, and case studies to assess the practical application of these laws. Findings show that integrating spatial planning laws with social justice and environmental sustainability principles can enhance the living conditions of vulnerable communities by ensuring equitable resource access and reducing exposure to environmental hazards. However, fragmented legal frameworks, weak enforcement, and a lack of participatory planning hinder their impact. Comparing with traditional urban planning, social justice-oriented spatial planning provides more sustainable outcomes by prioritizing equity and environmental protection. The study recommends policy reforms to strengthen law enforcement, encourage inclusive decision-making, and integrate social justice and sustainability into urban planning frameworks. Further research is needed to assess the long-term impacts and role of these laws in achieving equitable urban development.

This community engagement program was initiated in response to the predominance of academically oriented perceptions among parents regarding children’s intelligence, which tend to limit the recognition of children’s potential to cognitive achievement alone. The program aimed to enhance parents’ literacy and awareness of the Multiple Intelligences framework as a foundational basis for holistic child education in an Islamic elementary school context. A Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed, encompassing participatory planning, conceptual socialization sessions, child potential mapping workshops, collective reflection, and continuous evaluation. The findings highlight substantive outcomes. Parents experienced a significant paradigm shift in understanding the diversity of children’s intelligences, moving from a single-dimensional academic perspective toward a more comprehensive and appreciative view of individual potential. Parenting practices became more supportive, dialogical, and less comparative. In addition, a parents’ communication forum emerged as a new social institution within the school community, accompanied by the rise of local leadership that contributes to program sustainability. These results demonstrate that educational mentoring grounded in the Multiple Intelligences framework effectively promotes social transformation in Islamic elementary education through strengthened collaboration between school and family.
