Early financial management is an important skill for adolescents to form healthy financial behavior. However, observations at MTS Ummul Qura show that most students are still low in financial literacy and are not accustomed to saving. This community service was conducted to improve students' financial literacy through a combination of counseling guidance and saving practices at school. The method used is a case study with a participatory approach, involving students, counseling teachers, homeroom teachers, and school officials. Activities included financial literacy socialization, savings practice training, and regular monitoring and mentoring. The results showed an increase in financial literacy awareness, changes in consumptive behavior to be more rational, and the formation of consistent saving habits with student participation increasing from 25% to more than 70%. The program also received active support from teachers and parents, so it has the potential to become a sustainable school culture. The findings confirm that the integration of counseling and real practice is effective in building adolescent financial literacy and supporting the national financial literacy agenda. 

This community service program was carried out in Dolok Kahean Village, Tapian Dolok District, Simalungun Regency, with the main focus on optimizing digital literacy to increase the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of this program is to strengthen the competitive position of MSMEs, especially Rengginang Ibu Saliem, who still rely on conventional marketing systems and have a minimal understanding of business digitalization. The method used is a participatory and educational approach, carried out in four systematic stages: needs assessment, material design, program implementation, and mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed significant achievements, with an increase in digital literacy understanding by 80% based on a comparison of pre-service and post-service. In practice, partners have succeeded in forming a business digital identity, namely @rengginanghuta_ibusaliem Instagram accounts, and are able to run digital marketing starting from content processes to customer interaction. Theoretically, these findings strengthen the argument that digital literacy is an essential foundation in facing the challenges of the digital economy, where increased competitiveness is not only influenced by technical skills, but also by changes in mindset and business independence. The implication of this program is that local MSMEs now have adequate capabilities and platforms to expand market reach beyond the village boundaries.

The need to strengthen literacy in Indonesian language learning requires teachers to be innovative in designing assessment instruments that are relevant to current developments. One approach that can be used is the application of multimodal texts, namely texts that combine various communication modes such as writing, images, sound, and symbols to convey meaning more comprehensively. This community service program was carried out with the aim of improving the competence of Indonesian language teachers at the junior high school level throughout Sragen Regency in developing literacy questions based on multimodal texts that align with the demands of the Independent Curriculum. The activity was carried out through two months of intensive training and mentoring, which included a theoretical understanding of the concept of multimodal texts, analysis of sample questions, and practice in developing literacy-based assessment instruments. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of the principles of multimodal texts and their ability to design questions that challenge students' critical and creative thinking skills. Through this program, teachers not only gained new knowledge but also were motivated to be more adaptive to developments in digital media and innovation in learning. Thus, this activity contributed to improving the quality of Indonesian language learning that is contextual, interactive, and meaningful for students.

This community service program aims to improve the basic accounting literacy of the students (santri) at Pondok Pesantren Nurmadani NW Montong Lisung as a strategic effort to strengthen their financial independence. The program was initiated in response to the limited understanding of systematic financial management among santri, despite their involvement in various economic activities within the pesantren, such as the cooperative, canteen, and student organizations. The activities were carried out through four main stages: needs assessment, socialization of basic accounting concepts, financial record-keeping training, and evaluation accompanied by follow-up assistance. Interactive learning methods and experiential learning approaches were applied to ensure that participants not only understood theoretical concepts but were also able to practice them directly. The results showed a significant increase in the santris’ knowledge of the basic accounting equation, general journal, ledger posting, and preparation of simple financial statements. In addition to improved knowledge, there was also a positive shift in attitudes toward the importance of transparency, accountability, and sound financial governance. Several pesantren units began implementing the financial recording formats introduced during the training. Overall, this program successfully enhanced the technical skills and financial awareness of the santri and contributed to strengthening the pesantren’s financial management practices in a more professional and sustainable manner.

Cocoa farming is one of the plantation subsectors that plays a strategic role in Indonesia’s economy, as it contributes to increasing farmers’ income, national exports, and the development of the chocolate processing industry. Indonesia is recognized as one of the world’s largest cocoa producers, with major production areas located in Sulawesi, particularly South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and Southeast Sulawesi. However, the sustainability of cocoa farming still faces various challenges, such as low crop productivity, the use of low-quality seedlings, suboptimal cultivation techniques, and the presence of pests and plant diseases. In addition, limited access to capital and the low level of farmers’ financial management skills also affect the sustainability of cocoa farming. Many farmers do not yet have proper farm financial record-keeping systems, making it difficult to manage production costs, cash flow, and farm capital planning. In this context, financial literacy becomes an important factor that can help farmers manage their farming activities more effectively and sustainably. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy on the sustainability of cocoa farming and farmers’ welfare. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 120 cocoa farmers in Sidenreng Rappang Regency (Sidrap), South Sulawesi. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews and then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on farm financial management and the sustainability of agricultural businesses. The community service program titled “Digital Literacy Transformation through Canva as a Strategic Step for Strengthening Education and Empowering the Potential of Susukan Village toward Independence” was implemented to enhance the digital literacy competencies of rural communities, particularly among youth. This initiative was motivated by the low level of digital-based educational literacy, limited use of interactive learning media, and the lack of promotional content supporting the creative economy in Susukan Village. The implementation method employed a community-based empowerment approach through five main stages: socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, and the establishment of the Village Digital Literacy Center. The training was conducted through hands-on practice, including the introduction of basic Canva features, the creation of interactive learning media, and the development of village branding content. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ skills: 80% were able to produce at least three usable designs, 72% successfully created independent educational or promotional content, and participant satisfaction reached 91%. Moreover, participants’ digital literacy scores increased to 82.4 after the training. The establishment of the Village Digital Literacy Center serves as a strategic step to ensure program sustainability and autonomous knowledge transfer at the local level. Overall, this activity successfully promoted digital literacy transformation in Susukan Village, strengthened the community’s ability to utilize technology for education and local potential empowerment, and fostered an adaptive and self-reliant village in the digital era.  

Early marriage and divorce at a young age are among the most prevalent social problems among adolescents. A lack of understanding regarding marital loneliness, coupled with a lack of religious knowledge and life skills, often leads to marriages being faced without proper preparation. This situation necessitates strengthening premarital education literacy, which not only equips the cognitive aspect but also instills values ​​of balance through the concept of moderation. This study focuses on strengthening premarital education literacy without moderation as an effort to mitigate early divorce among adolescents at the Darul Ihsan Islamic Boarding School. The study focuses on how the premarital literacy program, based on the rights and obligations of couples, improved (80%) and family communication skills (78%), based on pre-test and post-test results. Using qualitative descriptive methods through observation, interviews, and documentation, this study found that premarital education literacy without moderation has a positive impact on improving adolescents' readiness for marriage. In addition, this program has also proven relevant in efforts to reduce the risk of early divorce which often arises due to a lack of mental and spiritual readiness among young couples.

The goal of education is to advance intellectual development while instilling moral values, ethics, integrity, and tolerance in students. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents is crucial in developing literacy in students. Parents are encouraged to help children develop a habit of reading books, thus providing a positive influence on their children's educational progress. Additionally, parents' active involvement allows children to have better opportunities to develop their literacy skills. By creating a supportive home environment and fostering positive reading habits, parents play a vital role in improving the overall literacy of students. The proliferation of Online Gambling (Judol) and Illegal Online Loans (Pinjol) poses a serious threat to the financial stability and morality of society, particularly among the youth. The high number of detected illegal entities necessitates fundamental educational intervention. The objective of this community service project is to equip students with an in-depth understanding of the dangers posed by these two illegal practices and to enhance their Sharia Financial Literacy as an ethical defense mechanism based on Islamic law. The methodology employed was an interactive and educational training session held at SMP Syubbanul Wathon Tegalrejo on November 15, 2024. The service material included a description of Judol and Pinjol, an analysis of addiction factors, and solutions guided by Sharia principles. The results demonstrate that understanding Sharia principles effectively provides an ethical framework for financial decision-making. Participants were equipped with practical skills to verify the legality of online loans with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), manage financial stress, and shift negative behavior towards positive activities.

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on students’ literacy skills in the Indonesian language subject for sixth-grade students at SDN 76 Tarowang. The research employed a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Pretest–Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 17 students who participated in the learning process using the Jigsaw model. Data were collected through literacy skill tests administered before and after the treatment.The results showed that the average pretest score of 28.47 increased to 56.41 in the posttest, indicating an improvement of 27.94 points. The Shapiro–Wilk normality test confirmed that the data were normally distributed (pretest Sig. = 0.513; posttest Sig. = 0.336). Furthermore, the Paired Sample t-test revealed a t-value of 7.180 with a significance level (Sig. 2-tailed) = 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant positive effect on students’ literacy skills. This model effectively engages students in reading comprehension, summarizing information, and communicating ideas collaboratively.

The digital transformation era requires university students to develop digital literacy competencies that not only support academic activities but also serve as essential capital for entering the workforce and pursuing entrepreneurship. One relevant professional platform to enhance career readiness is LinkedIn, which serves as a medium for both personal branding and professional networking. This community service aimed to improve students’ digital literacy and career readiness through mentoring sessions on LinkedIn account optimization. The program involved the students from the English Education (TBI) and Physics Education (TFS) study programs at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Palangka Raya, comprising prospective teachers and professionals across various disciplines. The implementation was carried out through tutorials and direct mentoring in two sessions, covering account creation, developing professional headlines and summaries, adding skills and experiences, and uploading simple portfolios. The results indicated that all participants successfully created or improved their LinkedIn profiles, actively engaged in the activities, and demonstrated a greater awareness of the importance of a professional digital identity, which can be seen from the students’ participation, the quality of the profiles produced, and their commitment to continuously developing their LinkedIn accounts. The program highlights LinkedIn’s strategic role in strengthening digital literacy and career readiness among university students in the global era.

This study aims to describe the early literacy skills of elementary school students through the use of letter-arranging teaching media based on three main indicators: letter suitability, accuracy in arranging letters into words, and accuracy in combining syllables into words. Early literacy is a crucial foundation for mastering reading and writing skills that influence students’ academic development. However, many lower-grade students still face difficulties in recognizing letters and forming words correctly. To address this, learning media that are concrete, interactive, and suitable for children’s developmental stages are needed. The letter-arranging teaching medium was chosen because it trains basic reading skills through enjoyable play-based activities. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method involving 22 second-grade students. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire consisting of 10 statements, then analyzed using the mean score and response distribution. The results showed an overall mean of 3.39, categorized as very good. The highest indicator was letter suitability and accuracy in forming simple words (mean 3.6), while the lowest was accuracy in combining syllables into complex words (mean 3.1). These findings indicate that the letter-arranging medium effectively strengthens early literacy, particularly in letter recognition and simple word composition, while also improving motivation, confidence, and cooperation.

English literacy at early childhood is a crucial foundation for language development, cognitive growth, and academic readiness. TK Desa Bagi 01, despite its high academic achievements, faces several challenges in teaching English, including a busy daily schedule, limited learning time, and restricted access to interactive learning media. This community service program was designed to address these challenges by introducing English literacy to young learners in a creative and engaging manner while simultaneously enhancing teachers’ skills in employing interactive and contextually relevant teaching media. The program employed several methods: observation of current teaching practices, planning and development of creative learning media such as flashcards, posters, storybooks, and puppets, implementation of learning activities through play-based approaches, and evaluation of student and teacher outcomes. The results indicate a significant increase in student enthusiasm, active participation, and comprehension of basic English vocabulary. Teachers also demonstrated improved creativity and confidence in using various teaching media to support literacy learning. This program shows that English literacy can be effectively fostered in early childhood using simple, locally relevant, and sustainable media. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of teacher development in enhancing the quality of English learning in rural school contexts. Overall, the initiative provides a practical model for integrating interactive English literacy education in early childhood settings with long-term potential for rural education improvement.

Financial literacy is an essential skill that needs to be instilled from an early age so that the younger generation develops the ability and habit of managing money wisely. This study focuses on efforts to improve financial literacy through savings awareness among children in Ndeskati Village. The background of this research is based on the low understanding of children about the importance of saving and the lack of age-appropriate financial education facilities. The research method employed is a qualitative approach involving observation, interviews, and direct practice of saving activities through a simple program. The findings show that children begin to understand the concept of saving not only as storing money but also as a step toward achieving future goals. Furthermore, the active participation of parents and mentors plays an important role in building consistent saving habits. Through this financial literacy program based on savings awareness, it is expected to create a generation that is disciplined, responsible, and capable of managing finances properly from an early age.

This community service activity aims to increase educational technology literacy among Vocational High School (SMK) teachers by introducing the basic concept of Deep Learning and its application in the world of education. This training was motivated by the urgent need to equip educators with basic understanding and skills regarding artificial intelligence (AI), especially Deep Learning, to be able to keep up with rapid technological developments and relevant to vocational education. Through practice-based training using simple tools such as Teachable Machine, teachers are given hands-on experience in creating simple machine learning models that are applicable in the school environment. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed a significant increase in understanding in the participants. The group discussions also produced various ideas for the application of AI such as a face-based attendance system, student voice recognition, and recommendations for learning materials according to students' interests. Despite challenges such as limited infrastructure and teacher learning time, this activity proves that a practical and contextual training approach can increase teachers' motivation to integrate technology into learning. Similar training is highly recommended to be replicated in other schools to support equitable access to modern educational technology.

Students as agents of change play an important role in the process of community development, not only in the academic environment but also in responding to various social issues. Community service is part of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), which emphasizes the application of knowledge while improving the social, spiritual, and economic quality of society. This study explores the implementation of the “Student Service: Al-Qur'an Generation, Literacy, and Economic Independence” program in Merambung Village, Tangkit Hamlet. This program focuses on three main aspects, namely strengthening religious education through Al-Qur'an teaching at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), improving basic literacy through guidance in reading, writing, and arithmetic, and empowering the local economy through assistance for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was used, actively involving the community in every stage of the program's implementation. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the ability to read the Qur'an and the application of spiritual values, an increase in interest and skills in basic literacy, and an increase in the competitiveness and independence of MSME actors through training and the use of promotional media. In addition to providing direct benefits to the community, this program also helped develop students' capacity in the application of knowledge, social empathy, and leadership competencies. The findings of this study confirm.
