Mount Batur's jeep tourism has recently become one of the most in-demand natural tourism activities in Bali. However, behind its popularity, there is a lack of understanding regarding the management pattern and collaborative mechanisms among local actors. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of community-based tourism governance in Batur jeep tourism through a qualitative descriptive method using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research finds that while the community plays a central role in operations, there is still a semi-formal governance structure with limited documentation and control mechanisms. From the perspective of the POAC management approach, the practices excel in execution (actuating) but are weak in planning and controlling. In terms of visitor experience, the tourism product already incorporates entertainment and escapism dimensions but lacks strong educational and aesthetic components. The study concludes that the jeep tourism in Batur has succeeded in mobilizing local resources and building an economic movement, yet it requires the strengthening of management structures, storytelling-based education, and environmentally sound standard operating procedures (SOPs). These steps are essential to ensure sustainability and long-term tourist satisfaction.

Competition among product brands is crucial since a strong brand would discourage customers from considering making a purchase. Consumer perception of a brand is shaped by their thoughts and emotions upon hearing or seeing its name. The process of identification will enable the brand to stand out from the competition and serve as the primary factor when consumers are making judgments about what to buy. Businesses must determine which aspects of brand equity affect consumers' confidence while making purchases. This study employed a quantitative descriptive research design. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the independent variable's value, whether it be one or multiple variables, without doing comparisons or drawing connections between them. Quantitative descriptive research uses data in the form of numerical results from measurements to characterize variables as they actually exist. One of the things that might persuade people to buy instant noodle products is brand recognition. The majority of consumers who claim that they opt to purchase instant noodles due to their well-known brand demonstrate this beneficial impact. This research was motivated by the public's lack of exposure to the potential of culinary products to support tourism in Solok City. The aim of this research is to formulate the potential of culinary tourism as a supporter of tourism in Solok City using SWOT analysis originating from internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats). This research is descriptive in nature with qualitative data obtained through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation, with research informants selected using purposive sampling techniques. The research informants were: Tourism Office, Bundo Kanduang, community and traders. Data was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and strategic analysis. Overall, the research results show that the potential for culinary products to support tourism in Solok City has strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that can be identified for development. The potential for culinary products to support tourism in Solok City that can be proposed involves: 1) Many types of typical Solok City food are still not exposed to visitors as well as the meaning and traditional traditions contained in each type of typical Solok City food. 2) The potential of culinary products to support tourism in Solok City, consisting of karucuik baluik, banana stem curry, banana pinyaram, limpiang pinyaram and bagalintin banana compote need to be maintained so that they can become selling points with a taste that is maintained and become a legacy for future generations 3) The internal factors of typical Solok City foods such as karucuik baluik, banana stem curry, banana pinyaram, limpiang pinyaram and bagalintin banana compote have a delicious and savory taste. The drawback of Solok City culinary tourism food is that its presentation does not last long at room temperature. The younger generation is not skilled in making it. The external factor of delicious food can increase business opportunities for local MSMEs and can open up new job vacancies if developed. The potential of Solok City's culinary products is threatened and is rarely made by the community, so the current generation does not know the traditional processes and events used to make them.

This article discusses the importance of balance between body and soul in Islamic education by referring to the thoughts of Imam Al-Ghazali. In Al-Ghazali's view, education is not just a process of transferring knowledge, but a comprehensive effort to form a complete human being through the development of physical, intellectual, and spiritual aspects. The soul is positioned as the main center of personality development, while the body plays a role as a means to support the implementation of spiritual and social tasks. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method to examine in depth the works of Al-Ghazali and other supporting literature. The results of the study show that Al-Ghazali's thoughts on the balance of body and soul are very relevant to be applied in the modern education system, especially in responding to the challenges of dehumanization and value crises. The integration of spiritual and physical dimensions in education can be a solution in forming students who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also emotionally and spiritually mature.

This study aims to compare three main aspects of the experience of enjoying traditional Surabi snacks in a number of places along Jalan Setiabudi, Bandung, namely taste, price, and comfort. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interview, and survey techniques to consumers. The results of the study show that there is a significant variation in the taste of Surabi offered by culinary business actors, both in terms of texture, sweetness level, and the peculiarity of toppings. In terms of price, it was found that differences do not always reflect the quality of taste, but are also influenced by location and market segmentation. The comfort of the dining place, including cleanliness, atmosphere, and supporting facilities, is an important factor in determining consumer preferences, especially young people and tourists. These findings can be a reference for culinary MSME actors in improving competitiveness and service quality, as well as providing practical information for consumers in choosing a place to enjoy Surabi that suits their needs and tastes.

This study explores the integration of Tasawwuf (Islamic mysticism) with Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah (objectives of Islamic law) to propose a more ethical and effective social welfare framework. The research emphasizes the importance of combining the spiritual dimensions of Tasawwuf, such as Ihsan (excellence) and ʿAdl (justice), with the legal and ethical framework of Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah, which seeks to preserve essential human interests such as religion, life, intellect, progeny, and wealth. This integrated approach is positioned as a comprehensive model for social welfare that addresses not only material needs but also promotes spiritual growth and ethical conduct. By blending these two frameworks, the study proposes a holistic view of social welfare that fosters empathy, justice, and social care. The findings highlight that Tasawwuf contributes to the ethical application of Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah, enhancing social responsibility and promoting greater community cohesion and solidarity. The study also discusses the practical implications of this integration in contemporary Muslim societies, including its potential to reshape existing welfare programs. Recommendations for future research and policy development emphasize the need for further exploration of this integrated approach in Islamic finance, Takaful, and Zakat, as well as the creation of frameworks that balance legal compliance with ethical and spiritual principles. The results suggest that incorporating Tasawwuf alongside Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah can significantly improve the ethical foundation of social welfare programs, fostering a more just and compassionate society.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of substituting vinegar with pomegranate juice (PJ) on the physicochemical characteristics, sensory quality, and antioxidant activity of mayonnaise. The mayonnaise was formulated into five treatments with varying concentrations of vinegar and PJ. The analyzed parameters included pH, color (L*, a*, b*), viscosity, emulsion stability, and sensory attributes (taste, aroma, color, texture, and preference), while antioxidant activity was assessed in the best formulation. The results showed that increasing the PJ substitution significantly improved viscosity and emulsion stability, decreased lightness (L*), and enhanced the red hue (a*). The P4 formulation (containing 2.75% PJ) demonstrated the best overall performance, with high viscosity, excellent emulsion stability, and also receiving high sensory scores. Antioxidant analysis revealed that P4 had higher antioxidant activity compared to the control (P0). Therefore, PJ has the potential to serve as a natural alternative to vinegar in mayonnaise production while enhancing the product's stability and functional value.
