The flipped classroom model has gained significant attention as an innovative pedagogical approach, particularly in enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. This study investigates the effectiveness of a video-based flipped classroom in improving students' academic performance and active participation during in-person classes. The research employed a quasi-experimental design, with two groups: one experiencing the flipped classroom approach, and the other following traditional lecture-based instruction. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests to assess learning outcomes, as well as an observation rubric to measure student participation. Results indicated that the flipped classroom group showed a 17% improvement in learning outcomes compared to the traditional group. Furthermore, the flipped classroom group exhibited twice the level of active participation, as measured by the rubric. These findings suggest that the flipped classroom model is effective in fostering a more interactive and participatory learning environment, where students engage with content before class and apply their knowledge through discussions and problem-solving activities during in-class sessions. The study also highlights the importance of video-based learning in preparing students for active participation and the role of the teacher as a facilitator in flipped classrooms. Despite the promising results, the study acknowledges several limitations, including reliance on technology and students' readiness for independent learning. The study concludes with recommendations for teacher training and future research to further explore the effectiveness of flipped classrooms across diverse educational contexts.

This study explores the relationship between mothers' knowledge of menopause and their personal readiness for this life stage at the Binjai Estate Health Center. Menopause, marked by the cessation of menstrual cycles, brings various physical and psychological changes. Adequate knowledge of menopause is essential for women to prepare both emotionally and physically for these changes. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, the study involved mothers aged 45-55 years who attended the health center. Data were collected through structured questionnaires that evaluated the participants' understanding of menopause, including its symptoms, stages, and health implications, alongside their readiness to face these changes. The results indicated a significant correlation between knowledge and readiness for menopause. Mothers with higher knowledge levels were more prepared, taking proactive steps to manage symptoms and seek healthcare. In contrast, those with less knowledge experienced greater anxiety and uncertainty about the menopausal transition. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the demonstration method in learning fiqh for grade VII students at MTs Nurul Islam, identify efforts made to improve the effectiveness of the method, and explore supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects in this study included the Principal, Fiqh Teacher, and grade VII students. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that the application of the demonstration method in learning fiqh at MTs Nurul Islam is very effective. Students not only receive theoretical explanations, but can also directly witness and practice materials such as tayamum, ablution, and prayer, so that learning becomes more concrete and meaningful. Efforts made to improve the effectiveness of this method include an initial explanation of the purpose of the demonstration, mental preparation of students before learning, and reflective discussions after the demonstration. The supporting factors for the implementation of the demonstration method include: learning becomes clearer, more interesting, and applicable; students are more active and find it easier to understand the material; and increased student learning experience. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors come from limited facilities and infrastructure, limited time, and uneven readiness of teachers and students. This study recommends the development of demonstration methods on an ongoing basis with the support of adequate facilities and teacher training.

This research investigates the economic impacts of port development and management on coastal communities, focusing on the role of vocational education in workforce preparation. Ports serve as pivotal economic hubs, driving regional growth through trade facilitation, job creation, and infrastructure development. However, they also pose environmental challenges such as pollution and habitat degradation, necessitating sustainable management practices. The study evaluates these dual aspects by analysing indicators such as GDP growth, workforce readiness, environmental sustainability, and strategic management in port operations. Findings highlight the significant contributions of ports to local economies while emphasising the importance of vocational education in equipping communities with skills for port-related jobs. Strategic management and governance are critical in maximising economic benefits while mitigating environmental impacts and ensuring regulatory compliance. The research underscores the need for integrated approaches that balance economic growth with environmental sustainability to foster resilience in coastal regions.

Digital ethics frameworks play a crucial role in shaping corporate governance in tech startups, ensuring transparency, accountability, and trust within organizations. As digital technologies continue to evolve and become more integrated into daily operations, startups face both opportunities and challenges related to the ethical implications of these technologies. In emerging markets like Indonesia, the adoption of these frameworks remains limited due to resource constraints, lack of awareness, and resistance to formalizing governance structures. This study explores how Indonesian tech startups integrate digital ethics frameworks into their governance policies and examines the associated benefits and challenges. Through interviews with governance managers and key decision-makers in these startups, the study identifies key trends, including improved transparency and enhanced stakeholder relationships for startups that implement digital ethics practices. However, barriers such as limited expertise, organizational misalignment, and the flexible nature of startups present significant hurdles. The study also highlights the impact of digital ethics on corporate reputation and investor confidence, with startups benefiting from a stronger market presence and increased funding opportunities. In comparison to global practices, Indonesian startups face additional challenges due to cultural attitudes towards corporate responsibility, regulatory gaps, and a slower market readiness for ethical governance reforms. The study provides recommendations for regulatory bodies to create clear guidelines for digital ethics adoption and suggests promoting training for startup leaders to help them integrate these frameworks effectively into their governance policies. These actions can support the long-term sustainability of tech startups, fostering responsible innovation and ethical business practices.

The purpose of this research is to analyze E-voting arrangements in organizing elections in Indonesia in accordance with the principles of organizing elections in Indonesia. This research is normative legal research which bases its analysis on applicable laws and regulations that are relevant to the legal issues that are the focus of the research. The research data sources are primary data, secondary data and tertiary data which are then analyzed juridically-qualitatively and presented in descriptive form. The research results show that implementing E-voting can overcome various problems in conventional voting systems, but implementing E-voting in elections in Indonesia faces challenges in terms of the readiness of the government, election organizers (KPU), and community culture. Although E-voting offers efficiency and increased participation, clear regulations are still missing, hindering widespread implementation. The readiness of infrastructure and human resources is also an issue, considering the need for adequate training and technology. In addition, people's cultural tendencies that tend to be skeptical of new technology can influence the acceptance of E-voting. Therefore, a comprehensive study and gradual preparation are needed to optimize the implementation of E-voting.

Geologically, Indonesia is located along the Ring of Fire, a volcanic line that surrounds the Pacific Ocean, making Indonesia a vulnerable country and has the potential to experience natural disasters. This is not proportional to the ability and readiness of the community in dealing with natural disasters. This community service socialization and disaster mitigation simulation was carried out to Kemala Bhayangkari 9 Waru Junior High School Students which aims to provide education to be alert when facing natural disasters, especially earthquakes. This socialization and simulation is very effective as seen from the students practicing the simulations that we demonstrate, so it can also be assessed that students really understand and are ready if there is a natural disaster
