This study aims to evaluate the effect of using Canva media on students' motivation and learning outcomes, especially in soccer material. The method used is a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest experimental design. The subjects of the study consisted of 59 ninth grade students of SMP Labschool Unesa 3 Surabaya, with a sample of 20 students from class IX-A. Data were collected through a questionnaire and pretest and posttest were conducted. Data analysis included normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results showed an average pretest score of 84.68 and a posttest of 63.10, with an increase in learning motivation of 92.41. The average learning outcome before the intervention was 4.1765, while after it became 6.0588. The T-test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 ≤ 0.005, so the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. This indicates that Canva media contributes positively to increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in soccer learning, as seen from the increasing enthusiasm of students during the learning process.

This study aims to determine the effect of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the motivation and learning outcomes of grade X students in History subjects at MAN 3 Jombang. The background of this study is the low motivation of students to learn due to the use of conventional learning models that tend to make students passive, bored, and less interested. The TGT model is considered an alternative because it can increase students' active involvement in the learning process. This research used a quantitative approach with quasi experiment method. The research samples were students from class X-11, which was the experimental class, and X-15, which was the control class. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was done by prerequisite test (normality and homogeneity), Independent Sample t-Test test, and MANOVA test. The results showed that the TGT learning model had a significant effect on learning motivation, with the value of tcount (9.180) > ttable (2.022) and Sig. 0,000 < 0,05. In addition, TGT also has a significant effect on learning outcomes, with tcount (7.979) > ttable (2.022) and Sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Simultaneously, TGT affects student motivation and learning outcomes based on MANOVA test (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05).

This study aims to improve the skills of third-grade elementary school students in learning the concept of measuring length and weight through the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which involves four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The study was conducted with 24 students from class III B at UPT SDN Latsari Tuban. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and interviews. The research results show that the implementation of the TGT learning model can enhance students' understanding of the concepts of length and weight measurement. In addition, there was an increase in students' learning activity and motivation during mathematics lessons. Students became more enthusiastic, cooperative, and engaged in group activities, which contributed to better mastery of the material. Based on these findings, the TGT learning model is proven to be effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes, especially in the topic of Length and Weight Measurement for third-grade elementary school students.

The world of education has undergone a major shift as a result of advances in information and communication technology. This study compares conventional and digital learning methods for distance learning (PJJ) across the board, with the aim of finding out what is effective, what is not effective, and how the two methods affect student learning outcomes and experiences. Conventional learning, which relies on direct interaction between teachers and students, emphasizes elements such as giving feedback, easy to do, structured, and routine. It has the advantage of being able to facilitate direct interpersonal communication, provide intensive supervision and guidance, and create a competitive learning environment. However, this method has some limitations, especially in terms of time and space flexibility. It is also not able to meet the learning needs of individuals in large groups. On the other hand, digital learning offers greater flexibility, access to a wide range of educational resources, and increased interactivity through the use of online collaboration tools, e-learning platforms, and video conferencing. The use of technology allows learning content to be presented in a systematic, structured and engaging manner, increasing student motivation and participation. In addition, it allows materials to be tailored to each student's learning style and conditions, and supports collaborative and independent learning. Challenges include the possibility of misuse of technology, limited access in some areas, lack of direct social interaction, and reliance on digital infrastructure and capabilities. The research results indicate that digital learning generally enhances student learning outcomes more significantly compared to conventional learning, especially in terms of distance learning (PJJ). Digital strategies such as structured instructional design, integration of practical experiences, motivational support, and time management have been shown to improve student interaction, understanding, and independence. However, digital and conventional learning methods can complement each other to achieve optimal effectiveness. The application of these strategies not only boosts students' academic performance but also equips them with the essential skills to tackle future challenges.

This study aims to comprehensively examine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT) on enhancing students’ problem-solving abilities in physics education. The integration of IoT into PBL is seen as a progressive approach to address the growing demand for innovative instructional strategies that promote higher-order thinking skills. A quantitative approach was adopted, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group format to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. The participants were 25 undergraduate physics students from the University of West Sulawesi, selected through saturated sampling due to the limited population size. To evaluate students’ problem-solving skills, data were collected using structured written tests designed around five key indicators: understanding the problem, describing the problem, planning the solution, executing the solution, and evaluating the results. Prior to hypothesis testing, normality of the data was assessed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, followed by paired sample t-tests with IBM SPSS Statistics 23 to determine the significance of differences in pretest and posttest scores. The findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in students’ problem-solving skills following the implementation of the IoT-based PBL model, with results showing significance at the 5% level and gain scores classified as effective. These outcomes demonstrate the potential of the PBL-IoT integration to foster critical thinking and improve educational quality. Therefore, the implementation of this instructional model is recommended for physics educators seeking to enhance student engagement, problem-solving proficiency, and learning outcomes through the integration of emerging technologies.

This study aims to determine the extent to which learning outcomes in Catholic Religious Education and Character Education can be improved through the application of the scientific learning method among second-grade students at SD Santa Maria Cirebon. The learning materials focused on the topics “My Parents,” “The Role of Family Members,” and “Playing with Friends.” The research subjects consisted of 20 second-grade students, while the object of the study was their learning outcomes following the implementation of the scientific learning method. This method encourages students to actively observe, question, experiment, reason, and communicate their learning outcomes independently and responsibly. The research was conducted over three cycles, each including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results indicated a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average student achievement was 75%, which increased to 85% in the second cycle and reached 100% in the third cycle. In addition to cognitive development, there was also notable improvement in social aspects such as independence, responsibility, and discipline. The number of students showing positive development increased from 75% in the first cycle to 95% in the second cycle, and further to 98% in the third cycle. These findings suggest that the scientific learning method is effective in enhancing both academic performance and social character in Catholic Religious Education and Character Education. Therefore, it is recommended that this method be more widely applied in similar learning contexts.
