Fire is an event that often occurs due to human negligence. Losses from fire include damage to goods, business delays and can even cause loss of life. For early handling of fires, a "Fire Fighting Control Design Using MQ-2 Sensor and Fuzzy Logic Based 5 Channel Flame Sensor" has been created. This tool uses the MQ-2 sensor to detect gases related to fires, such as hydrocarbon gas. A 5 channel flame sensor is used to detect flames. The predetermined fuzzy logic rules will be used to control the fire extinguisher and implemented using the Arduino Atmega 2560 microcontroller as the brain of the system. Next, the microcontroller will send a control signal to the 12V DC pump output as a water spray system to deal with fires. The test results of this system show that the tool can detect early fire hotspots and respond well to fire extinguishing according to the fuzzy rule decisions carried out by testing the tool with 30 fire spots at different distances.

In this paper, Spline techniques have become prominent lately due to their effectiveness in addressing singular perturbation boundary value problems. These issues, defined by a boundary layer or a minor parameter associated with a derivative term, pose difficulties due to swift fluctuations in solutions adjacent to the boundary. Solutions to singularly perturbed involving both positive and negative changes in a spatial variable are shown in this review article. The methods presented here are algorithmic in nature. The singular perturbation that arises in neural activity simulation and the approaches proposed by numerous investigators between 2004 and 2024 are the only ones covered in this review. A variety of types of singularly perturbed were reviewed, including ordinary delay differential . Discovering what numerical and analytical strategies have been created in the past decade to address these types of issues is the primary objective of this review. Its secondary objective is to encourage academics to come up with novel, strong approaches to resolving related issues.

The risk of delays in cleaning the loading cargo on the SPOB SEROJA II ship can interfere with the smooth cargo loading process. During the Sea Practice on this ship, it was found that improper cleaning of the loading room caused toxic gas levels to remain high, resulting in delays and work accidents. This study uses a qualitative method with an inductive approach, involving observation, interviews, and documentation to analyze a good loading room cleaning process to support the smooth loading of cargo, as well as identify obstacles that cause delays. The results of the study show that the cleaning of the loading room can be done well if planned and carried out with the correct procedures, and supported by the proper division of tasks among the crew. However, ship crews often neglect work procedures and safety, such as not checking oxygen levels, not preparing equipment properly, and not using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly, which contribute to safety issues and delays.

The issue of illegal parking in various urban areas often causes traffic congestion, disorder, and economic losses for official parking operators. One of the main causes of this phenomenon is the weakness of parking management systems and the lack of effective supervision. To address this issue, this research designs and develops an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)-based parking payment system as a solution. Traditional parking payment systems, which often still rely on cash payments, also frequently cause problems such as transaction delays, difficulties in providing change, and dependence on small denominations. These issues can lead to inconvenience for parking users and increase the risk of errors in the payment process. To address these problems, this research designs and builds an RFID-based parking payment system. This research uses the Prototype Method, which is a software development method focusing on the creation of an initial version of the system to be developed, ensuring that the resulting solution can work well, meet user needs, and be successfully implemented in a real-world environment. Based on the research findings, the RFID parking payment tool functions well. In carrying out structured maintenance, a method is needed to increase the durability of an aircraft component, one of the methods used is the reliability method. The reliability of aircraft components is very necessary to ensure that each aircraft component is serviceable and runs according to its function in the aircraft system, so to increase the reliability of an aircraft component, the reliability method is very important to do. This study aims to determine the critical life time limit of the asset or system or equipment function and identify the failure mode that occurs in the Gas Turbine Engine component of the Boeing 737-500 aircraft because if this engine fails, it can result in flight delays and if not handled immediately can cause the aircraft to experience Aircraft on Ground (AOG) conditions, because it has the potential to disrupt airworthiness and threaten safety. This study uses exploratory research which aims to simplify problems to make them easier to solve. This study uses the Pareto diagram method to determine the highest type of failure in components, then analyzes it using the failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) method. Based on FMECA and FTA analysis, there are 3 failure modes, the failure modes include mechanical system (Bleed Valve), pneumatic system (Butterfly Shaft), electrical system (actuator). The failure was due to the occurrence of the top event part consumable, namely the bleed valve part with an RPN value of 192, followed by the butterfly shaft part with an RPN value of 75 and the Actuator part with an RPN value of 72. The pneumatic system and electrical system categories are prioritized to carry out preventive maintenance, which means it is a solution from industry players in an effort to maximize maintenance of the turbofan engine system accompanied by technical or economic analysis to ensure a system in extending the service life of parts in the aircraft system.
