A contract is an important legal tool in society, whether in business, family, or personal relationships. In civil law, a contract not only regulates the rights and obligations of the parties involved, but also must adhere to several principles that underpin its validity and execution. This article aims to analyze the key principles in contracts under Indonesian civil law, such as the principle of freedom of contract, the principle of consensualism, the principle of good faith, the principle of pacta sunt servanda, the principle of balance, and the principle of compliance with the law. This study demonstrates that these principles not only serve as guidelines in drafting contracts, but also provide legal certainty for the parties involved. In practice, the application of these principles is crucial to avoid injustice and abuse during the contracting process.

This study explores the concepts of the visible and invisible Church using a qualitative approach with theological and historical methods. The invisible Church is understood as the true spiritual fellowship of all believers, known only to God, while the visible Church refers to the tangible institution that includes buildings, congregations, organizational structure, and leadership. Throughout Christian history, perspectives on the nature of the Church have varied—some emphasize its spiritual and universal aspects, while others focus on its organizational and institutional dimensions. Through the analysis of biblical passages such as Ephesians 1:22–23 and Colossians 1:18, along with theological insights and historical development, this study finds that a proper understanding of the Church must encompass both dimensions. Misinterpretation between these two concepts can lead to a limited understanding of the Church. The study affirms that the Church is not confined to formal institutions but is also the body of Christ comprising all true believers worldwide. By understanding the balance between the visible and invisible Church, Christians are encouraged to live in unity, strengthen their faith, and take an active and responsible role within church life. This understanding offers a broader perspective for living a more holistic and impactful faith life.

This study explores the intersection of sacred water rituals and ecological awareness, examining how religious practices related to water shape environmental virtues and promote water conservation efforts. Various religious traditions, including Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, and indigenous practices, treat water as a sacred resource, emphasizing its purity, sanctity, and the responsibility of humans to protect it. These rituals, such as Islamic ablution (wudhu), Christian baptism, and Hindu purification rites, not only serve spiritual purposes but also embody environmental ethics that encourage restraint, humility, and stewardship in the use of water. The study employs a comparative qualitative approach, integrating textual exegesis, ethnographic observations, and interviews with religious practitioners to analyze how different faith traditions frame water as sacred and how these frameworks translate into practical behaviors regarding water conservation. The findings reveal that religious water rituals contribute to an ecological self, fostering a deep respect for nature and a commitment to sustainable water use. However, challenges exist in reconciling traditional practices with modern water scarcity issues, especially in regions where water conservation is a critical concern. Despite these challenges, religious communities have the potential to leverage their ritual heritage to foster global awareness and action toward water conservation. Future research should explore interfaith collaborations in water conservation and investigate the impact of ritual practices on real-world water conservation behaviors. This study highlights the potential of sacred water rituals as powerful tools for promoting environmental stewardship and addressing global water challenges.

This study explores the role of spiritual eco-leadership within religious communities and its potential for fostering climate resilience and sustainability. Religious communities, guided by spiritual values such as stewardship, social justice, and care for creation, have a unique position to contribute significantly to addressing climate change. Through qualitative case studies of religious communities engaged in climate-resilient practices, this research identifies key personal qualities of effective eco-leaders, examines the theological foundations driving eco-leadership, and investigates how community structures can support sustainable practices. The findings highlight the importance of qualities such as compassion, integrity, and vision in eco-leaders, which enable them to inspire collective action towards environmental sustainability. Additionally, the study uncovers the centrality of theological principles, particularly those rooted in stewardship and social justice, in guiding eco-leadership within faith-based contexts. The research also discusses the challenges these communities face, including institutional conservatism, resource constraints, and the marginalization of eco-leaders. Strategies for overcoming these barriers are proposed, emphasizing the need for education, advocacy, and interfaith collaboration. The study concludes that spiritual eco-leadership, when supported by strong theological foundations and community structures, can serve as a powerful force in driving climate resilience and promoting sustainability, both locally and globally. By fostering eco-leadership, religious communities can play a transformative role in addressing climate change and enhancing community adaptation to environmental challenges.

Relationships with God and others are the most important things in a Christian's life. However, in practice, many GKSI Eklesia Kelempu congregations are not yet fully aware of or able to live up to this principle. They may be faithful in worship, but their relationship with God is only a formality, without deep appreciation. On the other hand, relationships with others are often characterized by conflict, prejudice, or lack of concern. This challenge is also exacerbated by the GKSI Eklesia Kelempu congregation's lack of understanding of the importance of building a balanced spiritual life. The research method uses qualitative, observation-based research by looking at phenomena that occur and carrying out activities directly. Next, collect data through feedback observations. And finally, after the observation data is collected, it will be processed into writing. The results of the findings of this research show positive changes in the spiritual life of the GKSI Eklesia Kelempu congregation, such as being more active in praying, attending worship services, and paying attention and helping each other.

orship is at the core of the Christian spiritual life, not only as an act of reverence to God but also as a means to deepen one's spiritual relationship with Him. However, in reality, many congregants experience a decline in interest and consistency in worship. This phenomenon is also observed at GKSI Agape Bajong, where, despite the church's growth, the understanding of the true meaning of worship still needs to be improved. One approach to address this issue is through the discipleship method. Through discipleship, the church can help the congregation gain a deeper understanding of worship and awaken their spiritual awareness. This approach emphasizes the deepening of faith and personal transformation based on the example of Christ. This study aims to explain how the discipleship method can be applied at GKSI Agape Bajong as an effort to cultivate the spiritual awareness of the congregation and enhance their participation in worship.

This study explores the application of eco-hermeneutics, an interdisciplinary approach combining ecological thought and scriptural interpretation, to sacred texts such as the Bible, Quran, and Vedas. Eco-hermeneutics seeks to reinterpret traditional religious teachings to emphasize ecological responsibility, interconnectedness, and the moral obligation of humans to protect the environment. The analysis identifies key ecological themes within sacred scriptures, including creation care, stewardship, and the intrinsic value of nature. Interviews with theologians and environmental ethicists provide practical insights into how eco-hermeneutical interpretations can be applied in contemporary religious contexts, offering a fresh perspective on environmental ethics rooted in religious teachings. This approach challenges anthropocentric views, which have historically positioned humans as dominators of nature, and instead advocates for an ecocentric understanding of the environment. The findings highlight the potential of eco-hermeneutics to inspire faith-based responses to the ecological crises, urging religious communities to adopt these interpretations to foster environmental stewardship. However, challenges and resistance from traditional religious communities are identified, particularly concerning entrenched views on human supremacy over nature. The study also explores the implications of eco-hermeneutics for religious education, suggesting that its integration into religious curricula could promote a theology of care and responsibility toward the environment. The paper concludes by calling for further research on the practical applications of eco-hermeneutics, particularly in how these teachings can be incorporated into religious practices and community actions, contributing to global sustainability efforts.

Marriage is a sacred vocation that signifies a profound commitment between husband and wife, rooted in love and faith. Many couples, however, lack the emotional and mental readiness to navigate marital challenges. This study examines the impact of Pre-Marriage Catechesis (KPP) on the emotional and mental readiness of Catholic couples in the Holy Spirit Cathedral Parish, Denpasar. Using a pretest- posttest experimental design, data were collected from 89 participants (44 males, 45 females) in November 2024, utilizing the Sukoon Marriage Readiness Scale. Before KPP, participants were categorized as "Highly Ready for Marriage" (20%, 18 individuals), "Moderately Ready" (50%, 45 individuals), and "Not Ready" (30%, 26 individuals). After completing KPP, the "Highly Ready" group increased to 65% (58 individuals), "Moderately Ready" remained at 30% (27 individuals), and "Not Ready" decreased to 5% (4 individuals). Pearson correlation analysis showed a strong relationship between KPP and readiness (r = 0.842, p = 0.000). Gender had no significant effect (p > 0.05), indicating KPP's universal applicability. The study concludes that KPP significantly enhances couples' readiness for marriage, contributing 98.7% to their emotional and mental preparedness. Recommendations include adapting KPP modules to address modern couples’ needs and increase program efficacy.

Education plays a strategic role as a tool for social transformation capable of shaping individual character, addressing social inequality, and driving societal change. In the Indonesian context, character education has become a central issue in building a generation that is faithful, pious, morally upright, and responsible in accordance with the values of Pancasila. Through a holistic approach, character education integrates spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social aspects to create quality individuals. Furthermore, learning methods that involve role modeling, habituation, and community participation emphasize the importance of collaboration between schools, families, and communities. As an agent of change, education also aims to create a knowledge-based society where science, innovation, and problem-solving serve as key pillars. Through lifelong learning, problem-based learning, and collaborative approaches, education provides space for the development of human potential relevant to global challenges. However, challenges such as educational disparities, curriculum relevance, and teacher capacity remain obstacles that need to be addressed through inclusive policies, continuous training, and improvements in educational infrastructure. By adopting an integrated approach, education can serve as a solid foundation for building a just, inclusive, and adaptive society in response to social changes.

This research aims to examine the use of the Muro'at al-Nazhir concept in the science of balaghah which is applied to Surah Ar-Rahman in the Al-Qur'an. Muro'at al-Nazhir is a rhetorical technique that emphasizes harmony in meaning, sound, structure, and even contrast of meaning in a text, thereby creating beauty and strengthening the message. Through a text analysis approach, this research identifies various forms of Muro'at al-Nazhir contained in Surah Ar-Rahman, including sound harmony through the repetition of the phrase "فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ" 31 times , harmony of meaning that describes the greatness of Allah and His blessings , harmony of structure through verses that have similar patterns, as well as harmony of opposing meanings that show the contrast between heaven and hell, as well as the creation of humans and jinn from different elements. The research results show that the use of Muro'at al-Nazhir in Surah Ar-Rahman not only adds to the beauty of the language, but also strengthens the spiritual meaning and messages of faith that are conveyed to humans and jinn. It is hoped that this study can deepen understanding of the art of balaghah in the Koran and inspire further study of rhetoric in this Islamic holy book.

This research examines the significance of faith in Christ and obedience to God's word based on Hebrews 2:1-4. This passage delivers a strong warning not to overlook the extraordinary salvation revealed through Jesus Christ. The study seeks to explore the theological meaning and practical application of this message in the lives of believers, employing a hermeneutical method to thoroughly analyze the text, considering the historical, cultural, and theological contexts of the Letter to the Hebrews. The findings indicate that Hebrews 2:1-4 conveys a crucial message to humanity to attentively heed the Gospel and avoid influences that might lead them away from the truth. The passage highlights three key points: first, the supremacy of Christ as the ultimate revelation of God; second, the severe consequences of neglecting the salvation offered through Him, which is reinforced by signs, wonders, and the gift of the Holy Spirit, validating the authority of the Gospel. Moreover, the study stresses the need for an active response from believers to God's word through strong faith and consistent obedience. The conclusion reveals that faith in Christ and obedience to God's word are not only the foundational aspects of spiritual life but also an ethical response to the gift of salvation. In practical terms, Christians are encouraged to renew their commitment to living in accordance with God's word as a way to honor the redemptive work of Christ. This research contributes to the understanding of Christian theology and its relevance to daily life.
