Mobile navigation interfaces continue to be plagued by a key usability problem, particularly when widely accepted design traditions fail to address the specific requirements and mental models of local user populations. This research addresses this significant limitation by using a comprehensive user-focused measurement framework to identify and investigate context-dependent navigation problems in mobile applications. The research employed a multi-method qualitative approach, using in-depth questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and laboratory-based usability testing of 15 participants on an interactive Figma prototype that simulated real-world navigation tasks. Our analysis, step by step, revealed significant navigation issues in the local context, as evidenced by a 73% task-completion rate and an average participant error of 2.8 across the core navigation tasks. The most significant usability issues were ambiguous iconography, inconsistent application of platform design patterns, and insufficient system feedback mechanisms. The results conclusively demonstrate that localized usability testing is not merely beneficial but necessary while creating genuinely good and accessible mobile experiences. The study provides a replicable, practical context-aware evaluation approach and tangible, right-now-applicable design recommendations, such as enhancing icons with descriptive text labels and using instant visual feedback mechanisms. The study provides developers and designers with tangible takeaways for significantly enhancing navigation user experience without sacrificing methodological availability or implementation convenience across different development environments.

The flipped classroom model emerges as an innovative pedagogical approach that fosters active student participation and cultivates personal responsibility for learning, particularly within the context of distance education. This method presents a valuable alternative for delivering practical-oriented courses such as Applied Ethnomusicology. In practice, the instructor’s role shifts from a traditional knowledge transmitter to a learning facilitator whose responsibilities include guiding, inspiring, and supporting students in achieving optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the flipped classroom model in the online learning of the rapa’i musical instrument at the Department of Performing Arts, Syiah Kuala University. Additionally, it seeks to describe the subjective perceptions and responses of both students and lecturers toward this instructional approach. Online learning was conducted using Zoom Meeting as the primary platform for synchronous interaction, supported by WhatsApp for content distribution and communication. A formative research methodology was employed, involving 20 students enrolled in the Applied Ethnomusicology course. Qualitative data were collected through observations of each flipped classroom phase and in-depth interviews with participants. Quantitative analysis was conducted to assess effectiveness via N-gain calculations. Results indicate that all stages of the flipped classroom model were successfully implemented, and the online learning process proceeded adequately despite challenges such as limited internet access and the scarcity of personal rapa’i instruments. Quantitatively, the model demonstrated moderate effectiveness, with an N-gain value of 0.3. The use of technological resources, especially the internet, has a very important role in supporting the effectiveness of the implementation of the flipped classroom model. Through internet access, students can prepare before face-to-face learning by watching learning videos, reading materials, or doing exercises independently. This allows the classroom teaching and learning process to be more interactive, where face-to-face time can be focused on discussion, problem-solving, and application of concepts. Based on survey data collected from students of SMK Dewata Bali Denpasar, it is known that optimal use of the internet helps increase students' understanding and interest in learning science subjects. However, as time went by, it was found that some of the material was still difficult for students to understand and remember. Therefore, educators need to choose the learning platform that is most effective in supporting the implementation of this model. Using the ELECTRE (Elimination and Choice Expressing Reality) method, this study assessed various platforms such as features, price, ease of use, and user survey results. The results show that Google Classroom is the most suitable and efficient platform to support reverse learning because of its ability to integrate various learning media, ease of access, and support for interaction between teachers and students.

Unmonitored traffic conditions often hinder decision-making processes in traffic management, particularly on secondary roads. Jalan Raden Inten II in East Jakarta is one of the connecting routes with heavy traffic activity at certain times, yet no integrated data-based monitoring system is currently available. This study proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based traffic condition classification system to identify Clear, Normal, or Congested states based on vehicle counts and speed categorization. The system is designed using an ESP32 microcontroller, an HB100 sensor to detect vehicle speed, and two AJ-SR04M ultrasonic sensors to detect vehicle presence. Data on vehicle counts and the percentage of slow-moving vehicles are periodically transmitted to the ThingSpeak platform and processed using the Threshold-Based Classification method. The classification results are visualized on a dashboard-based website equipped with charts, traffic condition status, and notifications when consecutive congestion is detected. Testing was conducted using simulation data over a specific period. Qualitative validation was carried out by comparing the classification results with traffic indicators from Google Maps. The results show that the system can classify traffic conditions with a good degree of agreement with external references, although discrepancies occurred at certain times due to the limitations of simulated data. This research demonstrates that a simple IoT approach can provide an affordable and effective solution for monitoring and classifying traffic conditions, with potential for real-world implementation in future studies.

Religious Holiday Allowance is a mandatory worker's right that companies in Indonesia must fulfill as part of their legal responsibilities, which should also extend to online motorcycle taxi  drivers. The platform worker status of online motorcycles taxi, who are typically bound only by work agreements, raises questions regarding their entitlement to this Religious Holiday Allowance. This paper aims to highlight the Circular Letter from the Ministry of Manpower Number M/3/HK.04.00/III/2025, which regulates the provision of Religious Holiday Allowance for online motorcycles taxi in the form of a religious holiday bonus. Using a socio-legal research method, this writing emphasizes the correlation between prevailing laws and regulations concerning the Religious Holiday Allowance for online motorcycles taxi drivers. The research findings indicate that online motorcycle taxi drivers have not comprehensively received their Religious Holiday Allowance rights due to their legal status as partners not being formally recognized within prevailing labor regulations. Furthermore, Circular Letter Number M/3/HK.04.00/III/2025 is non-binding, making the implementation of religious holiday bonus provisions contingent upon the individual policies of each platform company.

This study analyzes the phenomenon of limited digital literacy on the social media platform Instagram, particularly concerning users’ tendency to respond emotionally to provocative titles (clickbait) without fully reading and comprehending the content. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research highlights behavioral patterns in which users prioritize quick responses over critical understanding. The findings reveal that the primary factor contributing to this phenomenon is the attention economy, where users are accustomed to instant access to information and feel compelled to engage immediately in public discourse. The implications of this behavior include the proliferation of misinformation and the intensification of opinion polarization. This study recommends the need for more structured digital literacy education and the implementation of platform features that encourage users to engage with content before interacting. The tendency to react without thoroughly evaluating content contributes to an increasingly fragmented digital space where echo chambers thrive. This study recommends the need for more structured digital literacy education, focusing on critical thinking and the importance of evaluating content before sharing or reacting. Additionally, it suggests the implementation of platform features that encourage users to engage with content in a more thoughtful and responsible manner, helping mitigate the spread of misinformation.
