This study aims to examine the influence of brand image, brand experience, and brand love on repurchase intention among McDonald’s consumers in Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed, using a survey method with questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4.1.1.2. The results indicate that brand image and brand love have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, while brand experience does not show a significant effect. Furthermore, brand love mediates the relationship between brand image and repurchase intention but does not mediate the effect of brand experience. These findings highlight the importance of brand image and emotional attachment in fostering consumer loyalty through repurchase intention.

This study aims to analyze the patterns of interpersonal communication between teachers and students in an effort to enhance learning motivation at MAN 1 Bogor. The background of this research is the declining enthusiasm for learning among students, which potentially affects the overall quality of education. A decrease in learning motivation is often influenced by both internal and external factors, one of which is the quality of communication between teachers and students in the classroom. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study involved in-depth interviews with three key informants consisting of two teachers and one student, selected through purposive sampling to obtain relevant and comprehensive information. The findings indicate that openness, empathy, support, and equality demonstrated by teachers are able to foster positive emotional relationships and encourage students’ active participation. One-way, two-way, and circular communication patterns were found to play an important role in creating more effective and meaningful learning interactions. The study concludes that the success of the educational process is not only determined by curriculum and teaching methods but also by the quality of interpersonal communication between teachers and students as a fundamental basis for sustainable learning motivation.

Adolescents are a group at risk of emotional and social changes, including the impact of verbal abuse that can lower self-confidence. At SMP Negeri 16 Palangka Raya, some students often face taunts, insults, and hurtful labels from their peers. Some students exhibit shy behavior, withdraw, and have low self-confidence. Verbal abuse is often seen as a joke, but it can negatively affect the psychological condition of adolescents. Positive attitudes are believed to help adolescents face verbal abuse more constructively. This study aims to analyze the relationship between attitudes and adolescents' self-confidence in dealing with verbal abuse. The study used a quantitative method with a correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. A total of 55 students from classes VIII-1 and VIII-2 were selected as samples using total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using Spearman Rank test. The results showed that all respondents had a positive attitude, but 81.8% had only moderate self-confidence. The p-value of 0.007 (< 0.05) indicates a significant relationship between attitude and self-confidence. This suggests that positive attitude alone is not enough, and emotional education and psychosocial support are needed to improve adolescents' self-confidence in dealing with verbal abuse.

This study aims to examine the relationship between paternal involvement and bullying victimization in Pharmacy students in West Sumatra. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved 320 respondents selected from various Pharmacy colleges in the region. The research instrument was independently developed by the researcher, with the paternal involvement scale compiled based on Lamb's (2010) theory which includes the dimensions of direct involvement, emotional availability, and paternal responsibility. Meanwhile, the scale of bullying victimization refers to the theory of Smith et al. (1999), which includes forms of physical, verbal, social, and cyber victimization. Data analysis was conducted using the Pearson correlation technique, which showed a significant negative association between paternal involvement and bullying victimization (r = -0.728; p = 0.000). These findings indicate that the higher the level of father's involvement in a child's life, the lower the likelihood of the child experiencing bullying victimization. On the other hand, low involvement of fathers can increase the risk of students becoming victims of bullying. The results of this study make an important contribution to understanding the role of fathers as a protective factor against victimization behavior, as well as being the basis for the development of family interventions in the context of higher education. This research also opens up space for further studies on family dynamics and student mental health.

Emotional neglect is a form of non-physical maltreatment that occurs when a child fails to receive sufficient emotional support, attention, and affection necessary for proper psychological growth. This study aimed to explore the lived experiences of emotional neglect among a male juvenile inmate at the Correctional House for Adolescents (LPKA) Class II Payakumbuh and to understand how these experiences influenced emotional and behavioral development prior to engagement in criminal activities. A qualitative design with a descriptive phenomenological approach was employed, and data were collected through three in-depth interviews with a 17-year-old participant who had experienced emotional neglect since childhood. Analysis was conducted using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) stages. Findings revealed that emotional neglect caused deep emotional wounds, persistent loneliness, family disintegration, and emotional escape through deviant behaviors, including drug use and also criminal acts. The participant also expressed a profound emotional longing for his mother and attempted to reconstruct his self-identity by seeking supportive relationships outside the family environment. The study emphasizes the critical importance of emotional care in parenting and highlights the need for systemic interventions and support for children raised in dysfunctional families to prevent the development of maladaptive behaviors and to promote healthier emotional and social development.

he fatherless phenomenon in Bandung City affects family communication patterns and influences how adult women determine partner criteria. This study aims to examine the conversation and conformity orientations in the family communication of fatherless adult women when choosing a life partner. The research employed a qualitative case study approach using purposive sampling, involving four key informants and eight supporting informants. The findings indicate that conversation orientation is more focused on the mother, but is limited by feelings of awkwardness and inequality in speaking positions, reducing openness in discussing life values. The conformity orientation, centered on the mother as the dominant figure, does not always reach the child due to emotional differences and the indirect delivery of expectations, which create emotional distance and tension. The mother assumes a dual role as the source of values, moral guidance, and understanding of family life; however, communication tends to be one-sided and less balanced. The study recommends that individuals who have experienced the loss of a father figure develop self-awareness regarding the influence of past experiences in partner selection, understand the relationship values they believe in, and foster healthy communication to build more stable and meaningful relationships. In addition, the study highlights the importance of creating safe spaces for dialogue within the family, so that openness and equality in communication can emerge. Strengthening social support systems, including peer and community support, can also complement family communication, thereby helping fatherless adult women establish healthier relationship choices in the future.

This study aims to examine how the image of the Besikama people is formed and interpreted through the Hamis Batar tradition, a sacred sacrificial ritual. Using ethnographic methods, this study delves into the cultural practices and spiritual beliefs of the Besikama people, particularly in the context of their interactions with things considered sacred. This analysis utilizes the theoretical scalpel of “the look of the Sacred” introduced by Robert A. Orsi, a concept that goes beyond visual representation to understand a deeper relationship between humans and the divine, or “body beyond the image.” Initial findings indicate that Hamis Batar is not simply a series of ceremonies, but rather a space where the boundaries between the visible (body rituals, offerings) and the invisible (spiritual power, ancestral presence) are blurred. The Besikama people not only look at something sacred, but they also experience and shape it through actions, emotions, and physical sensations. Thus, the image formed is not a static representation, but a dynamic and living reality, continuously constructed and articulated through the practice of Hamis Batar. This research contributes to a richer understanding of how ritual can serve as a vehicle for experiencing and negotiating sacred meaning, going beyond mere symbolism.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. This disease results from a combination of insulin resistance and impaired pancreatic β-cell function, leading to persistent hyperglycemia and increased risk of long-term complications affecting the kidneys, cardiovascular system, nervous system, and eyes. This report describes the case of a 52-year-old woman diagnosed with T2DM for approximately ten years. The patient presented with fatigue, nocturnal polyuria, nausea after meals, significant weight loss, and tingling in her extremities. Laboratory findings revealed an HbA1c level of 12%, reflecting very poor glycemic control. A family medicine approach was applied through detailed history taking, physical and laboratory examinations, home visits, and completion of a family folder to assess clinical, personal, social, and functional aspects. Interventions included counseling on balanced diet, encouragement of regular physical activity, education on diabetic foot care, and pharmacological treatment with metformin and insulin. The family received counseling about hereditary risk factors, the importance of emotional support, and the need for consistent monitoring of health status. The patient was still capable of light daily activities, supported by a highly functional family environment with an APGAR score of 10. A holistic family medicine–based approach was shown to improve treatment adherence, patient knowledge, and overall quality of life. Therefore, management of T2DM requires a comprehensive strategy that integrates promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative components, emphasizing the active involvement of family and community at the primary care level to reduce complications, slow disease progression, and enhance patient well-being.   Keywords: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. The growth of coffee consumption in Indonesia presents challenges for Kopi Kenangan in maintaining customer loyalty amidst the increasingly competitive beverage industry. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and product quality on customer loyalty at Kopi Kenangan, Ruko Sultan Hasanuddin, Binjai City, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed an associative quantitative approach with 96 respondents selected through incidental sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire designed with indicators representing the dimensions of service quality and product quality. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, partial tests (t-test), simultaneous tests (F-test), and determination tests to identify the contribution of independent variables to the dependent variable. The findings reveal that service quality and product quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. For service quality, the tangible indicators, such as store comfort and adequate facilities, are dominant factors that enhance customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, for product quality, the performance indicators, including coffee taste and product consistency, play a crucial role in fostering customer loyalty. Loyalty is reflected in repeated purchases, brand commitment, and resistance to competitor products. Nevertheless, the study also indicates that menu variation has not fully encouraged repeat purchases, highlighting the need for greater product innovation. Recommendations include improving store environment comfort, providing staff training for optimal service delivery, ensuring taste and quality consistency, developing product design innovation, and implementing experience-based marketing strategies along with loyalty programs. These efforts are expected to strengthen emotional bonds and enhance Kopi Kenangan’s competitiveness in the long term.

Anxiety is an emotional response that is commonly experienced by patients before surgery, including in pre sectio caesarean patients. High levels of anxiety can affect the patient's physiological and psychological condition, so appropriate handling efforts are needed. Non-pharmacological interventions, such as prayer dhikr therapy, can be used as an alternative to help reduce anxiety because it provides relaxation, calmness, and increased spirituality. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of dhikr sholawat therapy on anxiety levels in pre sectio caesarean patients. The research design used a quasi-experiment with a pre-test and post-test control group approach. The research sample consisted of pre-sectio caesarea patients who met the inclusion criteria, then divided into two groups, namely the intervention group that was given prayer dhikr therapy and the control group that only received standard treatment. The instrument used to measure anxiety levels is the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). Data analysis was carried out by statistical tests according to the distribution of data to find out the difference in results between the two groups. The results showed a significant decrease in anxiety levels in the intervention group compared to the control group (p < 0.05). These findings prove that prayer dhikr therapy is effective in reducing anxiety in pre-sectio caesarean patients. Thus, this therapy can be recommended as one of the non-pharmacological nursing interventions that support the improvement of service quality and patient comfort.

This study aims to analyze and identify the use of language styles in the song "Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai." Language style refers to the technique of utilizing the richness of language, both in written works and oral communication, to create deeper aesthetic and communicative effects. In song lyrics, the use of language style becomes a crucial element that can strengthen the meaning and artistic appeal of a literary work. This research employs Gorys Keraf's language style theory as the theoretical foundation for classifying and identifying language styles. The study utilizes a descriptive qualitative research method with primary data sources consisting of the lyrics of "Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai." The qualitative approach was chosen to enable in-depth analysis of figurative language usage within the song lyrics. The research findings reveal the presence of five types of language styles employed in the lyrics of "Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai." The identified language styles include asyndeton, assonance, erotesis, metaphor, and simile. Asyndeton was found in the use of word sequences without conjunctions to create dramatic effects. Assonance was identified through the repetition of vowel sounds that create sound harmony. The esoteric figurative language style emerges in the use of the particle の at the end of sentences, indicating that this verse constitutes an interrogative sentence. Metaphors and similes are employed to create comparisons that strengthen the song's emotional meaning. The utilization of language styles in the lyrics of "Kuyamu to Kaite Mirai" functions not merely as aesthetic ornamentation, but also as a means to convey messages and emotions more effectively to listeners. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of language style usage in popular music works and serve as a reference for similar studies in the future.
