This study was conducted to examine how well the use of augmented reality (AR) learning tools helps fifth-grade elementary school students understand mathematical concepts related to fractions.. The research was motivated by students' limited comprehension of the abstract nature of fractions and the lack of engaging educational tools capable of presenting the material in a meaningful and interactive way. Augmented reality is believed to improve student engagement and offer more appealing visual representations by integrating virtual elements into the real-world environment. A total of 30 students I participated in this study, which used a quasi-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest method. Information was collected through pre-tests, post-tests, written notes, and observations. We used SPSS software to analyze the data. The results showed that students' grades improved significantly, with the average increasing from 54.80 in the pretest to 91.83 in the posttest. The normality test indicated that while pretest scores were approximately normally distributed, the posttest scores followed a normal distribution. A one-sample t-test showed a statistically significant effect of AR media usage, with a p-value of 0.000 and t-values substantially higher than the critical value (pretest: 32.439; posttest: 112.071). These results suggest that AR-based instructional media are effective in supporting elementary students’ understanding of fraction concepts. Overall, the study confirms the positive impact of augmented reality in mathematics learning for fifth-grade students.

Islam is considered as an inferior by Western studies, as resault of being failed to cope of revolution. This is due to the perception that Islam does not accept changes beyond the text of the Qur'an. Mohamad Arkoun emerged as a trailblazer in addressing the issue of Islamic decline through his deconstructive approach to interpretation, revelation, and reality. His ideas pose a fundamental challenge to the distinctions made by Western studies. Arkoun adopted Western epistemology to address real-world issues by emberance an elements asv academic disciplines such as hermeneutics, phenomenology, psychology, sociology, anthropology, and semiotic which could be able to complement in interpretation of the Qur'an in encounter any issues. Believing in the integration of these disciplines as a supplement to Qur'anic interpretation, Arkoun was confident that such an approach could bring a major transformation within the Muslim community, so that it would no longer be seen as rigid or regressive in the context of civilization.

The objective of this study was to identify the forms of bullying sentences in the film "Die Welle" and to analyze the meaning of these sentences based on the theory of critical discourse analysis by Teun A. van Dijk. A descriptive qualitative method was employed in this study, with data consisting of 18 sentences containing elements of bullying found in the film "Die Welle." The analysis was carried out by identifying themes, narrative structures, as well as semantic, syntactic, stylistic, and rhetorical elements in each sentence. As a result of the analysis, three main forms of bullying sentences were identified: (1) direct verbal insults in 12 sentences or 66.7%; (2) physical threats in 5 sentences or 27.8%; and (3) emotional outbursts in 1 sentence or 5.5%. Based on van Dijk's theory, it was found that the bullying sentences in this film not only represent verbal aggression but also reflect the use of language as a tool of power and dominance within group dynamics. Thus, the film "Die Welle" demonstrates that bullying is not merely an individual act but also part of a social structure that is formed and sustained through discursive practices.

This study aims to analyze the ability of students in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program to develop Lesson Plans (RPP) and implement teaching through microteaching activities. The RPP serves as a crucial tool for prospective teachers in designing a systematic and measurable learning process, while microteaching functions as an effective teaching practice medium to develop students’ pedagogical skills. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and interviews with final-year PGSD students enrolled in the microteaching course. The findings reveal that most students were able to develop lesson plans in accordance with the applicable curriculum formats (K13 and Merdeka Curriculum), including formulating learning objectives and outlining the sequence of learning activities. However, weaknesses were still found in formulating learning indicators, selecting appropriate models and methods, and integrating literacy, numeracy, and the elements of the Pancasila Student Profile. In implementing microteaching, students demonstrated mastery of the material and conducted learning activities in a structured manner. Nonetheless, some still faced challenges in classroom management, interactive communication, and the use of media and educational technology. The conclusion of this study indicates that PGSD students’ abilities in preparing lesson plans and conducting microteaching are in the “fairly good” category. However, they still require further guidance and training to be fully prepared as professional educators in the field. It is expected that through continuous evaluation and constructive feedback from lecturers, students can improve the quality of their lesson planning and teaching practices more optimally.

Panji Kahirupan Dance is a Cirebonese mask dance created by H. Taufik Hidayat, the founder of Sanggar Ki Bagus Rangin. This dance portrays the journey of human life, from pre-birth to adulthood, inspired by the changing characters (wanda) of the Cirebon mask tradition. This study aims to describe and analyze the symbolic meanings embedded in the Panji Kahirupan Dance. The research uses a qualitative method with a semiotic approach, allowing the researcher to explore both the denotative and connotative meanings of the symbolic elements in the dance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and validated using triangulation of techniques and sources. The data analysis involves data reduction to select relevant information, data presentation to synthesize findings, and conclusion drawing to interpret the symbolic meanings of each performance element. The costumes carry symbolic meanings through their colors: white represents the sanctity of life’s beginning, yellow symbolizes spirit, and red denotes ambition. The soft gamelan music contributes to a spiritual and contemplative atmosphere. The floor patterns, such as circles and straight lines, symbolize the life cycle and life’s purpose.

This study examines the application of material criminal law and the judge's legal considerations in two corruption cases: Central Jakarta District Court Decisions No. 3/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN Jkt.Pst. and No. 21/Pid.Sus-TPK/2025/PN Jkt.Pst. Conducted within the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia, the research uses literature review methods, including laws, court decisions, and related legal literature. The study adopts a descriptive approach to analyze and present findings. Results indicate differing views between the public prosecutor and the panel of judges. The Public Prosecutor believes the defendant is proven guilty under Article 2(1) of Law No. 31/1999 on the Eradication of Corruption (amended by Law No. 20/2001), in conjunction with Article 55(1) of the Criminal Code, Law No. 46/2009 on the Corruption Court, and Law No. 8/1981 on Criminal Procedure. However, a dissenting opinion emerged among the judges. One judge disagreed with the majority, arguing that Judex Facti incorrectly applied the law. The judge emphasized that in cases with alternative charges, the court must evaluate all charges collectively rather than selectively, as in subsidiary charges. Therefore, the judge believed that the charge meeting the legal elements revealed in court should be selected based on comprehensive evaluation. This dissent highlights the legal complexity and interpretive challenges in corruption trials under Indonesian law.

This study analyzes the flexural behavior of reinforced geopolymer concrete beams through numerical simulation based on the Finite Element Method (FEM) using ANSYS software, comparing it with conventional reinforced concrete beams. The background of this research focuses on the need for environmentally friendly construction materials, considering the high CO₂ emissions from Portland cement production. The numerical model was developed based on parameters and loading schemes from previous experimental studies, utilizing SOLID65 elements for concrete, LINK180 for steel reinforcement, and SOLID185 for supports. Simulation results show that the flexural behaviour of geopolymer beams is comparable to conventional beams in terms of load-deflection relationships, flexural capacity, and crack patterns, with deviations from experimental data generally below 10%. The patterns and propagation of cracks also exhibited similarities, starting from the tensile zone at mid-span. Furthermore, the analysis demonstrates consistency with the analytical approach based on SNI 2847:2019. This research supports the validity of using geopolymer concrete as a sustainable structural material alternative and shows that the FEM numerical method is effective in evaluating the flexural performance of concrete structural elements.

This study investigates the verbal and visual signs embedded in the promotional posters of Midsommar (2019), a psychological horror film directed by Ari Aster. Drawing on Dyer’s (1982) theory of visual signs, Saussure’s semiotic model of the signifier and signified, and Cerrato’s (2012) theory of color symbolism, the research analyzes how linguistic and visual elements work together to convey layered meanings. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, five official film posters were examined to identify how signs construct thematic messages and emotional tones. The findings reveal that the posters deliberately juxtapose serene imagery with unsettling symbols, creating a tension between aesthetic beauty and psychological horror. Verbal cues such as taglines and titles signal themes of ritual, trauma, and emotional transformation, while visual signs—such as costume, color palette, facial expressions, and symbolic objects—reinforce the film’s narrative of cultural disorientation and personal collapse. Color symbolism, particularly the use of red, blue, and white, plays a key role in evoking mood and implying deeper psychological and ritualistic meanings. Overall, this study demonstrates that Midsommar’s posters function not only as promotional tools but also as rich semiotic texts that foreshadow the film’s ideological and emotional content, offering insight into how horror and beauty can coexist within cinematic visual culture.

Online media play a significant role in shaping public perception through framing processes, particularly on sensitive social issues such as protests. This study aims to analyze and compare how two Indonesian online news platforms, Kompas.com and Indozone.id, framed the student protest at Dongduk Women’s University in South Korea. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using Robert N. Entman’s framing model, which includes four elements: defining problems, diagnosing causes, making moral judgments, and suggesting remedies. The data were derived from two news articles published in November 2024. The findings reveal that Kompas.com applied a more critical and comprehensive framing approach, emphasizing social context, historical cases of sexual harassment, and the importance of safe spaces for women. In contrast, Indozone.id focused on the virality aspect, providing minimal analysis and omitting moral and solution-oriented framing. These differences reflect the editorial orientation of each platform and highlight the need for media literacy in an era dominated by algorithm-driven journalism. The study underscores how media framing influences public understanding of gender justice and women's education issues.
