Posyandu, as a form of community-based health efforts, plays a crucial role in improving maternal and child health. However, its implementation in the Mutiara Community Health Center (Puskesmas Mutiara) in Asahan Regency still faces various challenges, such as low cadre capacity, suboptimal service quality, and limited community participation. This community service activity aims to strengthen cadre capacity through Posyandu revitalization as an effort to improve the quality of basic health services. A total of 63 Posyandu cadres participated in the activities, which were implemented through counseling, education, and coaching using revised service standard guidelines. This program was implemented through four stages: preparation, implementation, analysis of results, and evaluation. Improvement in cadre knowledge was measured using pretests and posttests. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the level of knowledge of cadres, as seen in the change in assessment categories from the majority being in the "poor" category during the pretest to "sufficient" and "good" in the posttest. This indicates that the education and coaching provided were effective in improving cadres' understanding and skills. Increasing cadre capacity is expected to improve the quality of Posyandu services, increase public trust, and support efforts to reduce morbidity and mortality in the Mutiara Community Health Center's work area. Cross-sector collaboration and ongoing mentoring are needed to maintain the sustainability of Posyandu revitalization.

Adolescents are a vulnerable age group to nutritional problems due to increased nutritional requirements during periods of rapid growth. Suboptimal nutritional status, including undernutrition and anaemia, can negatively affect health and academic performance. This study aimed to describe the nutritional status of adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This study employed a descriptive observational design conducted from August to September 2025 with a total sample of 226 twelfth-grade students’ selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through measurements of body weight and height to determine nutritional status based on the BMI-for-Age indicator and haemoglobin levels were assessed using a digital haemometer. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis. The results showed that most respondents had normal nutritional status (52.2%), while a considerable proportion were undernutrition (47.8%). In addition, more than half of the respondents were anaemia (50.9%). These findings indicate that although anthropometric nutritional status was generally normal, anemia remains a health problem that requires attention among adolescents. Regular monitoring of nutritional status and hemoglobin levels accompanied by nutrition education is recommended. Further studies are recommended to use an analytical study design to identify factors associated with nutritional status and anaemia.

Cervical cancer remains a major public health problem and is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality among women in Indonesia. Early detection through Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an effective and feasible screening method at the primary health care level. However, the coverage of VIA screening among women of reproductive age (WRA) remains low. Knowledge is considered an important predisposing factor that may influence women’s motivation to undergo VIA screening. This study aimed to analyze the association between cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening among women of reproductive age. This study employed a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 105 women of reproductive age were recruited using consecutive sampling at the Payangan Community Health Center, Gianyar Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected using validated and reliable structured questionnaires measuring cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening. Univariate analysis was performed to describe respondent characteristics, while bivariate analysis using the chi-square test was applied to examine the association between knowledge and motivation at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that 61.9% of respondents had good knowledge of cervical cancer, while 52.4% demonstrated low motivation to undergo VIA screening. A statistically significant association was found between cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening (p = 0.043). Women with higher levels of knowledge tended to have greater motivation to participate in VIA screening. In conclusion, cervical cancer knowledge is significantly associated with motivation to undergo VIA screening among women of reproductive age. These findings suggest that strengthening health education interventions at primary health care facilities is essential to enhance motivation and increase participation in early cervical cancer detection programs.

This study aims to analyze various factors influencing the decisions of tobacco farmers in Wuluhan District, Jember Regency, in using the tebasan (bulk sale before harvest), and how this is viewed from the perspective of Islamic economics. The variables examined include income, farming experience, education level, and the perspective of Islamic economics, whose influence on selling decisions was tested using a quantitative approach through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that: Income, farming experience, and education do not have a direct significant effect on the decision to sell tobacco .However, these three variables have an indirect effect through the variable of the Islamic economic perspective. The Islamic economic perspective is proven to play a significant role as a mediating variable, influencing farmers' decisions to sell tobacco. In practice, the tebasan system does offer efficiency and certainty for farmers, but it contains elements of uncertainty (gharar) that must be critically reviewed in the context of Islamic sales law.

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the role of Indonesian language education in strengthening national identity and culture amid the increasingly complex dynamics of globalization. Indonesian holds a strategic position as both the national and state language, functioning not only as a means of communication but also as a symbol of national unity, a marker of collective identity, and a medium for transmitting national cultural values. However, globalization—characterized by the dominance of foreign languages, particularly English, rapid digital transformation, and changing language attitudes among younger generations—poses serious challenges to the ideological and cultural functions of Indonesian, especially within formal education. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations of Indonesian language learning practices, and document analysis of curricula and instructional materials at secondary and higher education levels. The data were analyzed thematically through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation to ensure the trustworthiness of the findings. The results indicate that Indonesian language education that integrates national values, literary texts, and cultural elements plays a significant role in fostering students’ awareness of national identity and positive attitudes toward the Indonesian language. Moreover, Indonesian language learning functions as a form of cultural practice that contributes to the preservation of national cultural values. Nevertheless, the study reveals challenges related to students’ pragmatic orientation toward global languages and the dominance of foreign languages in digital spaces. Therefore, strengthening Indonesian language education through integrative, contextual, and adaptive curricula and pedagogical practices is essential to address global challenges while sustaining Indonesia’s national identity and cultural continuity.

This study aims to analyze the effect of welfare inequality on poverty levels on the island of Sumatra. Welfare inequality is measured using the Gini Index, while poverty levels are measured by the percentage of the poor population at the provincial level. This study uses a quantitative method with a panel data approach covering ten provinces on the island of Sumatra during the period 2020–2024. The analytical techniques used include panel data regression with fixed and random effects models, as well as classical assumption testing to ensure model validity. The results show that welfare inequality has a positive and significant effect on poverty levels, meaning that increasing inequality in income distribution tends to increase the number of poor people. This finding indicates that uneven economic growth can worsen the welfare of the community, especially low-income groups. Therefore, more inclusive and sustainable development policies are needed, particularly in increasing equitable access to education, health services, and productive employment opportunities to reduce inequality and poverty levels on the island of Sumatra.

Digital transformation has reshaped community life by increasing internet dependency in daily communication, financial transactions, and public services. However, this rapid development has also intensified cybersecurity risks, particularly link-based scams and the misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Limited digital literacy at the family level makes communities vulnerable to phishing attacks, personal data breaches, and AI-generated fraud. This community service program aimed to strengthen digital literacy among residents of RW 03 Kalipancur, Semarang, through participatory education focusing on link scam detection and responsible AI usage. The program involved interactive lectures, case discussions, simulations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations with 18 participants from family groups, PKK cadres, and elderly residents. The results showed a significant increase in understanding, from an average pre-test score of 43% to a post-test score of 84%. Beyond knowledge improvement, participants demonstrated increased awareness and behavioral change toward safer digital practices. The findings suggest that community-based participatory approaches effectively enhance family-level digital resilience and can serve as a replicable empowerment model in other communities facing similar digital threats.
