The coffee shop industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth that requires business owners to optimize data-driven strategies. This study aims to analyze customer preferences at Semanis Coffee and Resto using data mining methods  to support more effective business decision-making. The method used is Market Basket Analysis with the FP-Growth algorithm for association rule mining and the K-Means algorithm for customer segmentation. The research data consists of 672 sales transactions during the March-May 2025 period. The results of the association analysis with a minimum support of 0.004 and a minimum confidence of 0.2 resulted in five valid rules with a lift ratio above 1. The strongest rule is the combination of Americano→Milk Choco with a confidence of 42.9% and an elevator ratio of 5.229, indicating a strong linkage between products. The most popular products are Milk Choco (10.8%) and Americano (8.5%). Customer segmentation analysis identified three clusters: Cluster 0 (Loyal Customers) 80% with high frequency but low transaction value; Cluster 1 (Occasional Customers) 10% with low activity; and Cluster 2 (Large Buyers) 10% with high transaction value but low frequency. This study concludes that product bundling strategies, loyalty programs, reactivation campaigns, and premium services can be applied to increase the effectiveness of coffee shop businesses.

This study examines the effect of capital structure, dividend policy, and firm size on firm value at PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk during the period 2014–2024. The company’s firm value has shown fluctuations and a declining trend despite an increase in total assets, indicating a mismatch between asset growth and market perception. This study aims to analyze the influence of internal financial factors on firm value, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach is employed using secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial statements. Capital structure is measured using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dividend policy using the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), firm size using the natural logarithm of total assets, and firm value using Tobin’s Q. Data are analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS, supported by classical assumption tests, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that partially, capital structure and dividend policy do not have a significant effect on firm value, while firm size has a significant effect. Simultaneously, all independent variables have a significant effect on firm value. The findings indicate that firm size plays a dominant role, while other factors may also influence firm value beyond the model.

Tinea favosa is a rare but destructive form of chronic dermatophytosis fungal infection. It is marked by the development of scutules (yellowish, cup-like crusts) and can lead to permanent cicatricial alopecia if not treated appropriately. Although its prevalence is decreasing globally, sporadic cases are still common in areas with poor sanitation. Trichophyton schoenleinii is the primary medical cause of Tinea favosa, but it can also be caused by Trichophyton violaceum or Microsporum gypseum. This report discusses a case involving a 7-year-old boy who exhibited classic clinical signs of favus. Diagnostic procedures included a physical examination, direct microscopic examination with 10-20% KOH solution, and culture on Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) to identify the fungal species. Microscopic examination revealed branching and fragmented hyphae (arthrospores) and air tunnels within the hair shaft. Culture confirmed Trichophyton schoenleinii as the primary etiologic agent. The patient was treated with oral griseofulvin combined with ketoconazole cream for 8–12 weeks. Follow-up showed resolution of the crusts and cessation of the inflammatory process, although areas of fibrosis showed permanent hair loss.

The Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA) in Indonesia is a manifestation of special protection for children in conflict with the law, prioritizing the principles of restorative justice and diversion. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the SPPA based on Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System and to identify the legal challenges that arise in its practice. The research method used is normative legal with a legislative and conceptual approach. The results of the study show that although the regulations mandate diversion efforts as a top priority in resolving juvenile cases, there are still obstacles in its implementation, both in terms of the readiness of law enforcement officials, limited supporting facilities, and the perception of the community, which still tends to expect a retributive (punitive) approach. In addition, the protection of children's rights during the judicial process is often not optimally fulfilled. This analysis concludes that strengthening inter-agency coordination and increasing law enforcement officials' understanding of restorative justice are key to the effectiveness of this system. Further regulatory harmonization and strengthening the role of the Correctional Center in overseeing the diversion process are needed to ensure that the best interests of the child remain the top priority at every stage of the judicial process

This case report examines the effectiveness of a combined pulmonary rehabilitation and musculoskeletal physiotherapy program for a 26-year-old male post-pulmonary tuberculosis patient with lumbar tuberculous spondylitis. The patient, who had completed anti-tuberculosis treatment, presented with low back pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, and limited mobility. Spirometry indicated severe restrictive ventilatory impairment (FVC 1.28 L, 32% of predicted), and lower extremity muscle strength was reduced (MMT 2-3/5). The patient used a TLSO brace and walking aid. Over a three-week physiotherapy program, the patient participated in breathing exercises, spinal mobilization, muscle strengthening, functional exercises, and education on brace use. Evaluation occurred at the first, second, and third weeks. After treatment, pain intensity decreased from VAS 6 to VAS 3, FVC improved to 1.72 L, chest expansion increased, muscle strength improved to MMT 4/5, and performance on the Five-Times Sit-to-Stand Test showed progress. The Functional Independence Measure (FIM) score increased from 98 to 115, reflecting improved functional independence. These findings suggest that the combination of pulmonary and musculoskeletal physiotherapy effectively improved respiratory function, muscle strength, and the patient’s overall functional capacity.

This study focuses on the elements of gharar (uncertainty), tadlis (fraud), and breach of contract in examining multiple transactions of a single land object from the standpoint of Islamic economic law. The rising frequency of disagreements over land purchases and sales brought on by the same seller engaging in overlapping transactions, unclear ownership status, and a lack of transparency has prompted this research. This study aims to investigate the effects of these activities on Indonesian positive law and Islamic economic law. This case study employed an empirical legal approach and was carried out in Grogol Village, Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. Data was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation by the buyer, seller, and local authorities. The findings indicate that due to unclear land boundaries and ownership status, the transaction contained significant elements of gharar and tadlis because the seller concealed important information about the previous transaction. Furthermore, the seller's failure to fulfill obligations stipulated in the contract constitutes a breach of contract under positive law. This study demonstrates that these practices not only violate legal regulations but also contradict the principles of Islamic economic law such as justice, transparency, and good faith. According to this study, legal awareness, administrative accuracy, and institutional oversight are vital to prevent such issues in the future.

The transformation of payment systems from cash to digital through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) is part of financial transaction modernization in Indonesia. This transformation has begun among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Baduy community, particularly in Baduy Luar, which has higher interaction with external communities. However, the adoption of digital payment systems has not been fully supported by adequate financial management capabilities. This community service activity aims to identify the transformation process of payment systems and describe the financial literacy conditions of Baduy MSMEs. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The results show that some MSMEs have adopted QRIS through Bank BRI as an alternative payment method alongside cash and have utilized social media such as TikTok Live and Instagram for product marketing. The main sources of income include handicrafts, traditional clothing, accessories, and food products. However, financial management practices remain simple and lack systematic recording. This indicates improved financial inclusion but not yet accompanied by adequate financial behavior. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is essential to support sustainable financial modernization in the Baduy community.

Corruption remains a persistent challenge in Indonesia because it weakens public trust, undermines welfare, and obstructs equitable development. This article examines how Aristotle’s virtue ethics can contribute to anti-corruption efforts by addressing the moral roots of corrupt behavior. The study argues that corruption is not only a legal or administrative violation but also a failure of character, judgment, and commitment to the common good. Using a qualitative conceptual design, the article employs philosophical analysis, a structured literature review, and Socratic questioning to examine the relationship between virtue, leadership, and public integrity. The analysis identifies three principal roots of corruption: weak moral character, poor ethical judgment, and self-interest over the common good. It shows that Aristotelian ethics offers an integrated response through the cultivation of moral virtue, intellectual virtue, and practical wisdom. The findings suggest that virtue-based ethics is most effective when combined with anti-corruption education, ethical leadership, stronger rule-of-law implementation, and institutional arrangements that reduce opportunities for abuse of power. Aristotle’s framework does not provide a complete solution, but it offers a valuable normative foundation for strengthening ethical public culture in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the role of assessment in decision-making within guidance and counseling services. Assessment plays a crucial role in providing accurate, objective, and comprehensive data regarding students’ characteristics, needs, and problems. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing 25 relevant scholarly sources related to assessment, measurement, and counseling services. The findings indicate that measurement serves as the fundamental basis of assessment, which involves systematic processes to obtain quantitative data. The quality of assessment results is highly influenced by the reliability and validity of the instruments used. Reliable instruments ensure consistency, while valid instruments ensure accuracy in measuring intended variables. Furthermore, assessment functions as a basis for diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of guidance and counseling services. The study also reveals that the application of assessment in schools is not yet optimal due to several factors, including limited counselor competence and lack of effective use of instruments. In addition, the integration of technology and the use of both test and non-test instruments have been shown to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of assessment. In conclusion, systematic and well-implemented assessment significantly enhances the quality of decision-making in guidance and counseling services. Therefore, improving counselors’ competencies and optimizing the use of assessment instruments are essential to support more effective counseling practices

The transition from paper-based to Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the Academic Potential Test (TPA) for state university entrance selections has significantly transformed the educational assessment landscape. This conceptual study aims to evaluate the instruments of CBT-based TPA, focusing on validity, reliability, fairness, and technological infrastructure constraints. Employing a systematic literature review approach, this research synthesizes various foundational theories of educational measurement, specifically Item Response Theory (IRT) and Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT), alongside contemporary empirical findings from the last five years. The findings indicate that while CBT offers enhanced administrative efficiency and rapid grading, the validity of the instruments is frequently challenged by item exposure and the diverse digital literacy levels of test-takers. Furthermore, infrastructural disparities among regions pose a significant threat to testing fairness. The implication of this study suggests the urgent need for a dynamic item bank generation system and the implementation of adaptive testing to mitigate cheating and ensure equitable assessment. Future educational policies must bridge the digital divide before uniformly mandating CBT. Ultimately, this review provides a comprehensive framework for test developers to refine CBT TPA instruments, ensuring they genuinely measure academic potential rather than technological proficiency.

Social Studies (IPS) learning in elementary schools plays an essential role in developing students’ critical thinking skills and civic attitudes as part of 21st-century competencies. However, in practice, IPS learning is still commonly teacher-centered and lacks contextual learning experiences, resulting in low student engagement and limited development of higher-order thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in IPS learning to enhance critical thinking skills and civic attitudes of grade VI students at SDN Prekbun. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers, students, school principals, and parents, as well as documentation of learning activities. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the implementation of PjBL effectively enhances students’ active participation, critical thinking skills in analyzing social issues, and civic attitudes such as responsibility, cooperation, and social awareness. Learning becomes more meaningful as students are directly involved in contextual, collaborative, and problem-based project activities. Despite these positive outcomes, several challenges were identified, including limited learning facilities, time management constraints, and variations in students’ confidence levels. This study implies that PjBL is an effective instructional model for strengthening character education and developing 21st-century skills in elementary social studies learning
