The work of health workers is a key factor in ensuring the quality and sustainability of primary health services. However, high work demands and limited resources have the potential to weaken work involvement if they are not balanced with a perception of work meaning and adequate psychological capacity. This study aims to analyze the effect of job meaningfulness on work engagement of health workers through psychological capital as a mediating variable at the Mokoau Health Center, Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. All health workers at the Mokoau Health Center as many as 70 people were used as research samples using the total sampling method. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS version 4.0. The results of the analysis showed that job meaningfulness had a positive and significant effect on psychological capital (β = 0.698; p < 0.05). Psychological capital was also shown to have a positive and significant effect on work engagement (β = 0.691; p < 0.05). Furthermore, job meaningfulness had a significant indirect effect on work engagement through psychological capital (β = 0.482; p < 0.05), which shows the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship. Job meaningfulness not only contributes directly to strengthening psychological capital, but also indirectly increases work engagement of health workers. Psychological capital plays a role as the main psychological mechanism that translates the meaning of work into higher work attachment. These findings affirm the importance of a human resource management strategy that focuses on strengthening the meaning of work and psychological capital to increase the work involvement of health workers in primary health care facilities.

The development of the modern world, characterized by advances in digital technology, globalization, and complex social dynamics, has created new challenges in child-rearing practices, particularly for Muslim families. Children require not only the fulfillment of physical needs and formal education, but also balanced emotional, social, and spiritual support. This study aims to examine the concept of child-rearing based on love and compassion from the perspective of Islamic psychology, identify the core principles of Islamic parenting, and explain its implications for children’s psychological development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a literature review method with a systematic literature review design. Data sources were obtained from academic books as well as nationally accredited journals and reputable international journals published between 2020 and 2024. The data were analyzed using content analysis and thematic analysis to identify patterns, key concepts, and relationships among variables. The findings indicate that parenting grounded in love and compassion (rahmah), combined with role modeling, justice, and wisdom in discipline, contributes positively to children’s emotional, social, moral, and spiritual development. Warm and responsive Islamic parenting supports the development of effective emotional regulation, prosocial behavior, and the internalization of faith-based and moral values in children. The results also demonstrate a strong alignment between Islamic parenting concepts and the compassionate parenting approach in modern psychology, with Islamic psychology offering a distinctive strength in its spiritual dimension. This study contributes to the reinforcement of the theoretical framework of Islamic psychology and provides practical recommendations for parents and educators in implementing balanced parenting that integrates compassion, discipline, and Islamic values in the modern era.

This study aims to identify factors associated with fast food consumption behavior among adolescents based on the Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) through a literature review. A descriptive literature review was conducted using nine peer-reviewed articles published between 2021 and 2025, retrieved from Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. The findings indicate that adolescent fast food consumption behavior is influenced by two main components of SCT, namely personal factors and environmental factors. Personal factors were predominantly examined through the knowledge variable, which showed inconsistent associations with fast food consumption, while other personal variables, although mostly related, lacked consistent empirical support across studies. In contrast, environmental factors demonstrated more consistent associations, particularly peer influence, mass media exposure, parental influence, and pocket money, which were repeatedly identified as significant determinants of fast food consumption among adolescents. In conclusion, adolescent fast food consumption behavior is more strongly influenced by environmental factors than by personal factors, highlighting the importance of multi-level interventions that address social and environmental contexts in shaping healthy eating behaviors among adolescents.

Competition in acquiring young talent is increasing, so employer branding strategies  are an important element for organizations in attracting the interest of generation Z. As digital natives, generation Z has different characteristics and expectations, including the need for career development, work-life balance, organizational reputation, and an inclusive work culture (Smith, 2022). In the midst of global competition and the increasingly dominant use of digital technology in the job search process, companies are required to build an authentic and relevant employer image in order to increase the attractiveness of their talents. Previous research has shown that employer branding has a significant effect on the interest in applying for jobs for generation Z, either directly or through mediating factors such as organizational reputation and person-organization fit (Backhaus & Tikoo, 2004; Jiang & Iles, 2024). Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the influence of employer branding on the interest in applying for jobs of Generation Z and examine the role of organizational reputation and person organization fit as a mediation variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of Generation Z respondents who were looking for a job, then analyzed using multiple regression and bootstrapping mediation test. The results of the study show that employer branding has a positive and significant effect on the interest in applying for jobs for generation Z, and this influence is stronger when the reputation of the organization and the person-organization fit plays the role of mediator. These findings affirm the importance for organizations to build a positive image, provide an inclusive work culture, and highlight the value match between companies and applicants in order to be able to compete in the fight for young talent in the digital era.

The game industry in Indonesia has shown significant growth in recent years, along with the increasing public interest in high-quality video games. AAA (triple-A) games such as Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) rely heavily on trailers as their primary promotional tool to introduce the game’s atmosphere, visual quality, and complex storytelling. GTA is widely recognized as a pioneer in realistic visuals, deep narratives, and social criticism delivered through iconic storytelling, making it highly appealing to potential consumers. This study aims to examine the influence of visual narrative in the GTA VI trailer on consumers’ purchase intention within the Indonesian GTA V Roleplay Facebook community. The theoretical framework is based on Marketing Communication Theory, Visual Narrative Theory with the dimensions of clarity, realism, dynamism, and continuity, as well as Purchase Intention Theory consisting of transactional, referential, preferential, and exploratory intentions. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method, with questionnaires as the data collection instrument. The sample was selected using simple random sampling and calculated using the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error, resulting in 92 respondents. The results indicate that the visual narrative variable achieved the highest mean score in the realism dimension (3.29), while purchase intention recorded the highest mean score in the transactional intention dimension (3.79). Simple linear regression analysis reveals that visual narrative has a significant influence on purchase intention, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.918. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.843 indicates that 84.3% of purchase intention is influenced by visual narrative, while the remaining 15.7% is affected by other factors beyond this study.

This study aims to apply the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method to identify the main factors influencing poverty in North Sumatra Province. Poverty rates in this region show significant variations among districts and cities, influenced by differences in social, economic, educational, and basic facility availability. The data used in this study include eleven indicators related to population, education, health, access to basic services, and economic conditions. All variables were initially normalized to ensure they had comparable scales, then PCA feasibility tests were conducted using MSA, KMO, and Bartlett's test, which indicated that the data were eligible for further analysis. The results of the PCA revealed three main components explaining a total of 69.91 percent of the variation. The first component represents regional population and economic factors, with the largest contributions coming from population density, open unemployment rate, and per capita expenditure. The second component reflects household living conditions, such as access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and health complaints. The third component describes the educational dimension through indicators of the population aged at the primary and secondary school levels. These findings indicate that poverty in North Sumatra is influenced not only by economic factors but also by the quality of basic services and education levels among the population. Therefore, this research is useful for policymakers at the central and regional government levels to consider the factors influencing the increase in poverty in North Sumatra.

Using a systematic literature review approach to various previously published studies, this research investigates the influence of consumer nationalism on the intention to purchase domestic products. The purpose of this study is to find patterns of results, influencing components, and the impact of consumer nationalism on their behavior when purchasing local products. Data were collected from articles in relevant national and international journals, particularly those discussing ideas about consumer nationalism, consumer ethnocentrism, and factors determining purchase intention. The findings of the study indicate that consumer nationalism has a positive and significant effect on consumers' intention to purchase domestic goods. A number of variables, including product quality perceptions, price sensitivity, cosmopolitanism levels, and consumer demographics, especially Generation Z, who tend to be involved in the digital world, influence this effect. In addition, this study found that customer awareness, attitudes, and preferences towards local products are influenced by social media and digital campaigns such as the Bangga Buatan Indonesia (Proudly Made in Indonesia) program. The results of this study provide strategic benefits for businesses when they develop marketing plans based on the value of nationalism. These results can also be used as a reference for public policies aimed at increasing consumption and competitiveness of domestic products through the implementation of such policies.

Customer satisfaction is a central issue in marketing management, as it plays a crucial role in determining customer loyalty amid increasingly intense business competition. A comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing customer satisfaction is essential not only for academics in strengthening marketing theory but also for practitioners in designing effective service and product strategies. This article aims to address two research questions: (1) what are the dominant factors influencing customer satisfaction, and (2) how does customer satisfaction relate to customer loyalty? The study employed a qualitative literature review method. The data consisted of scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025, accessed through Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) using the keyword “customer satisfaction.” From an initial selection of 30 articles, 27 were identified as relevant, and 5 core articles were further analyzed. The findings reveal three main themes: product and service quality as the dominant determinants of customer satisfaction; price, brand image, and promotion as supporting factors; and customer trust as an important mediating variable in building loyalty. This study concludes that customer satisfaction serves as a strategic link between service quality and customer loyalty. Future research is encouraged to explore the roles of digitalization, customer experience, and sustainability in shaping long-term customer satisfaction.

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, work environment, and workload on employee performance at PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk, Semarang Branch, using the Job Demands–Resources (JD-R) Theory as its underlying framework. The JD-R model posits that employee performance and well-being depend on the balance between job demands and job resources. The research employed a quantitative explanatory approach involving 56 employees from the Central Operation division, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 21. The results reveal that leadership style and work environment have positive and significant effects on employee performance, while workload has a significant negative effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.673 indicates that the three variables collectively explain 67.3% of employee performance variation. Respondents perceived that communication and support from leaders were strong, and social relations in the workplace were positive, although workload and performance targets were considered relatively high. These findings reinforce the JD-R Theory (Bakker & Demerouti, 2017), showing that leadership and work environment function as job resources that enhance motivation and performance, whereas excessive workload represents job demands that may hinder employee outcomes if not properly managed. Practically, organizations in the financial services sector should maintain a balance between job demands and job resources to achieve sustainable employee performance improvement.
