This study analyzes the strategic role of digital transformation in accelerating the development of the green economy in Azerbaijan. As global economic systems shift toward sustainability-oriented models, Azerbaijan has begun integrating digital technologies—such as smart energy systems, geographic information platforms, and digital monitoring tools—into its environmental and economic policies. These initiatives are designed to reduce carbon intensity, enhance resource efficiency, and modernize industrial sectors in alignment with international climate standards. The study employs a qualitative library-based approach supported by content analysis to assess state programs, institutional reforms, and policy documents related to digital governance and renewable energy deployment. The findings indicate that digital solutions facilitate transparent decision-making, optimize energy consumption, and support ecological innovations, making them essential components of Azerbaijan’s national development agenda. However, the transition remains constrained by infrastructural disparities, limited technological competencies, and regulatory gaps. The study argues that sustainable development goals cannot be fully realized without comprehensive digital integration, institutional coordination, and capacity-building initiatives. Thus, digitalization is not merely a supportive tool but a foundational mechanism for the advancement of the green economy and long-term socio-economic transformation in Azerbaijan.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally transformed civil legal interactions, making electronic documents such as instant messages, online transactions, and digital contracts primary forms of evidence in many civil disputes. However, their admissibility in judicial proceedings remains fraught with challenges concerning formal and material validity. This study aims to identify juridical and technical obstacles in digital evidence and to formulate an ideal model for civil procedural law that ensures reliable electronic proof. A normative-juridical approach with qualitative analysis was employed, combining doctrinal research through legislative review, jurisprudence, and scholarly literature with case studies of court decisions involving electronic evidence, particularly in divorce disputes. The findings reveal that inconsistent judicial treatment stems from the absence of specific procedural rules in Indonesia’s civil procedure framework still rooted in colonial-era HIR and RBg alongside limited digital infrastructure and low technological literacy among judicial actors. In response, the study proposes an integrated legal construction model featuring explicit provisions in the upcoming Civil Procedure Code, adoption of the functional equivalence principle, institutionalization of digital forensic experts in litigation, and procedural safeguards for vulnerable parties. The research concludes that only through holistic reform of the evidentiary paradigm can Indonesia’s civil justice system guarantee fairness, legal certainty, and relevance in the digital era.

In the context of modernity, characterized by secularization and existential anxiety, traditional models of Christian faith formation often appear disconnected from the lived reality of believers, particularly regarding the doctrines of salvation and eschatology. This study investigates the crucial role of the church in bridging this gap by developing a pedagogical approach that integrally links ecclesial education with eschatological hope. Employing a qualitative descriptive analysis method, this research examines theological literature, contemporary church documents, and case studies of Christian formation programs. The analysis reveals that a robust eschatological perspective oriented towards the hope of salvation, resurrection, and the renewal of all things is not merely a final chapter of doctrine but an essential, transformative framework for all faith education. It shapes Christian identity, ethics, and mission in the present. The study concludes that for faith formation to be salvific and relevant today, the church must intentionally reconfigure its educational praxis. This reconfiguration involves moving from a compartmentalized teaching of "last things" to fostering an eschatological imagination that informs discipleship, worship, and social engagement, thereby presenting salvation as a comprehensive hope actively shaping Christian life in the modern world.

This study discusses the concept of lifelong education from an Islamic perspective by highlighting the thoughts of Ibn Khaldun as a prominent figure in the history of education. Using a qualitative method based on a literature study, this research examines sources from the Qur’an, Hadith, and related scholarly works to understand the theological and philosophical foundations of lifelong education. The findings indicate that education in Islam is viewed as a continuous process that takes place from birth until the end of life. Ibn Khaldun emphasized the importance of a gradual and systematic learning process, as well as the use of methods that align with learners’ developmental stages. This concept is consistent with the demands of modern education, which emphasize active, creative, and adaptive learning. Furthermore, the study highlights various forms of lifelong education implementation, such as vocational, professional, civic, and cultural education. These findings affirm that lifelong education is an essential necessity in responding to social, technological, and civilizational dynamics, while also constituting an act of worship and a human responsibility as khalifah (stewards) on earth.

This study explores the major challenges faced by moral education in the modern era, particularly within Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, where rapid technological advancement, globalization, and shifting patterns of student interaction have significantly influenced the traditional process of moral development. The purpose of this research is to analyze teachers’ strategies in revitalizing moral education, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation, and evaluate its impact on students’ discipline. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the school principal, Islamic ethics teachers, and students, as well as observations of daily moral habituation practices within the school environment. The findings indicate that effective revitalization of moral education occurs through an integration of teacher role modeling, consistent habituation of moral practices, and value internalization supported by interactive learning methods. These strategies contribute to improved student discipline, greater independence, and more stable behavioral patterns. However, the effectiveness of these efforts is still influenced by external factors such as excessive gadget use and limited continuity of moral guidance at home. The study provides an integrative and adaptive model of moral education that aligns with the characteristics of the digital generation and emphasizes the essential collaboration between teachers, schools, and families. The results highlight the importance of a responsive, contextually relevant approach to moral development that meets the evolving needs and challenges of 21st-century learners.

The rapid development of digital media has created a communication pattern in which information spreads quickly and often without verification. In this situation, hoaxes and disinformation have emerged as a serious threat that affects social trust, religious harmony, and individual behavior in online spaces. This study aims to explore Qur’anic principles that are relevant for building critical awareness, especially through the momentum of Nuzul Qur’an as an illustration of revelation that guides people in understanding messages accurately. The research uses a qualitative descriptive-analytical design with a thematic tafsir approach to examine verses related to verification, prohibition of false speech, and speaking truth. Primary sources consist of the Qur’an and classical as well as modern commentaries, while secondary sources include books and scientific articles on digital literacy and misinformation. The findings show that Qur’anic principles such as tabayyun, avoidance of false accusation, and responsibility in communication are aligned with core elements of digital literacy that require users to identify reliable sources and evaluate messages before sharing. The conclusion suggests that integrating Qur’anic ethical values into digital literacy programs can reduce the circulation of hoaxes and strengthen a culture of truth in digital interaction.

Using descriptive qualitative methods, data was collected through in-depth interviews with youth and youth leaders who play an active role in development activities at the church. The results of the study revealed various challenges faced by teenagers and young people, such as peer pressure that affects worship motivation, a less engaging atmosphere of togetherness in worship, and differences in age and maturity levels between teenagers and young people that cause emotional distance. Their spiritual needs include relational aspects, a contextual understanding of faith, real spiritual experiences, and the formation of strong moral character to face the challenges of the modern era. Effective development strategies involve the active role of families in spiritual development at home, Christian educators as guides and motivators, the use of interactive learning methods such as Bible-based games and digital media that are relevant to the character of the younger generation, and the implementation of dynamic and creative worship services to increase engagement. The implementation of this program aims to form a strong Christian character and prepare teenagers and young people to become faithful, responsible individuals who are able to serve actively in the church and society. Close synergy between family, church, and education is a key factor in the success of spiritual development of the younger generation amidst rapid social and technological change.

This article examines the evolving discourse on granting legal personhood to Artificial Intelligence (AI) by analyzing jurisprudential foundations, global regulatory frameworks, and emerging challenges in liability attribution. As AI systems acquire higher autonomy, opacity, and decision-making independence, traditional human-centered legal structures struggle to assign responsibility for AI-generated harms. Through a qualitative methodological approach, involving library research and content analysis, this study evaluates whether limited or functional legal personhood can serve as a viable solution to accountability gaps created by advanced AI systems. The discussion explores key themes including AI autonomy, black-box decision processes, digital identities in virtual environments, metaverse avatars, and the boundaries of existing tort and contract law. Comparative insights from the European Union, the United States, and India highlight significant divergences in regulatory approaches, particularly regarding “electronic personhood,” strict liability models, and AI-specific safeguards. Findings indicate that while full personhood is premature, a hybrid framework—combining functional personhood, risk-based regulation, and AI-focused accountability mechanisms—could enhance legal clarity, promote responsible innovation, and strengthen public trust. This study contributes to the ongoing global effort to conceptualize AI legal personhood within modern socio-digital ecosystems.

This study explores the relevance of Imam Al-Ghazali’s educational philosophy to contemporary Islamic education in responding to current moral, social, and educational challenges. Using a library research method, the study systematically examines Al-Ghazali’s views on educational goals, curriculum orientation, the role of teachers, and instructional methods, and then contextualizes these perspectives within the dynamics of modern educational systems. The analysis highlights how Al-Ghazali’s educational thought addresses issues related to moral decline, character formation, and the imbalance between intellectual achievement and ethical development in present-day education. The findings show that Al-Ghazali’s emphasis on integrating knowledge and character, balancing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, and highlighting the teacher’s role as a moral exemplar remains highly applicable today. His educational framework which prioritizes spiritual development, moral formation, self-discipline, and closeness to God offers a strong, comprehensive, and relevant foundation for renewing Islamic education in the modern era and for fostering holistic learners with intellectual competence, ethical awareness, and spiritual integrity.

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) play a strategic role in shaping the character and noble character of the younger generation amidst the increasingly sophisticated currents of modernization and digital challenges. This study aims to examine the process of character formation of students' noble character through habituation of attitudes at the Muhammadiyah Ibnu Juraimi PPTQ, as well as to understand the strategies, challenges, and roles of various parties in supporting this character development. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study type, through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that habituation of attitudes is the main strategy, which is realized through teacher role models, enforcement of discipline, routine worship such as qiyamullail, sunnah fasting, recitation of the Qur'an, and social habits such as respect and the use of Islamic greetings. The main challenges in implementing guidance are differences in student backgrounds, the motivation of administrators who still lack awareness in guiding children, and the negative influence of gadgets. Efforts to resolve this are carried out by limiting gadget access, strengthening role models, and involving students' guardians in supporting children's development. The conclusion of this study confirms that the formation of noble character is a long process that requires consistent habituation, contributions between teachers, students, administrators, and guardians of students, as well as overcoming external challenges wisely.

A comparison between classical and contemporary interpretations regarding the law of theft contained in Surah Al-Mā’idah verse 38, which stipulates the punishment of hand amputation for theft. This verse has long been the basis of Islamic jurisprudence, but its interpretation has evolved over time. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, which examines classical sources of interpretation such as Tafsīr al-Qurṭubī and contemporary interpretations such as al-Mishbāḥ. The research findings show that classical interpretations view this verse textually and normatively, with a focus on the application of hudud law as a form of justice and protection of property rights, as well as the imposition of strict conditions to avoid misuse. Meanwhile, contemporary interpretations view this verse contextually and humanistically, paying attention to social, economic, and humanitarian conditions. The punishment of hand amputation is understood not only as physical punishment, but also as a tool for moral education, crime prevention, and protection of community welfare. Although both share the same goal of upholding justice and safeguarding the welfare of the people, contemporary interpretations emphasize a more flexible application of law to align with the values of social justice in the modern era. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of contextualizing the understanding of Islamic law without neglecting the principles of sharia, which balance justice, humanity, and the welfare of the people.

This study aims to examine the development of Islam during the Umayyad Dynasty as one of the important periods in the history of Islamic civilization. The main focus of the discussion is directed at the process of the emergence of Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan as the first caliph of the Umayyad Dynasty and his efforts to establish dynastic power after the Islamic Civil War (Fitnah Kubra). The Umayyad Dynasty played a strategic role in the transformation of the Islamic government system from an elective caliphate to a hereditary monarchy, while simultaneously expanding the territory of Islam to various regions. This study uses a literature review method with a historiographic approach, namely examining and analyzing relevant classical and modern historical sources. The results show that during the Umayyad Dynasty, Islam experienced significant developments in the aspects of politics, government administration, military, and culture. However, internal political dynamics, conflicts over the legitimacy of power, and dissatisfaction of certain groups also contributed to weakening the stability of the dynasty. This study also describes the process of decline of the Umayyad Dynasty until its eventual collapse and replacement by the Abbasid Dynasty.

This study aims to analyze the production process, marketing strategies, and environmental impacts of sugarcane brown sugar agroindustry at the household scale, using the Haeruddin enterprise located in Latellang Village, Patimpeng District, Bone Regency as a case study. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results show that the enterprise manages approximately 50 hectares of sugarcane land with productivity ranging from 30–60 tons per hectare, which is below the national average. The production capacity reaches 1–2 tons of sugarcane per day, producing approximately 1 ton of brown sugar daily, and involves local labor in cultivation and processing activities. Marketing is conducted through direct sales and local distributors, with prices ranging from IDR 8,000–10,000 per kilogram, without the use of digital promotion or modern retail channels. From an environmental perspective, the production process generates solid, liquid, and gaseous waste; however, solid waste in the form of bagasse is reused as fuel, while liquid waste and combustion residues are only partially managed. These findings indicate that while the enterprise contributes to employment and the local rural economy, improvements in production efficiency, marketing strategies, and environmental management are required to enhance competitiveness and sustainability. This study provides practical insights for the development of sustainable household-scale sugarcane brown sugar agroindustries in rural areas.

This study discusses the conditions, challenges, and strategies for developing Indonesian pepper exports in the context of international trade. Although Indonesia still has a comparative advantage as indicated by a positive RSCA value, export performance has continued to decline since 2019. Various internal factors such as inconsistent quality, limited post-harvest technology, and low cultivation productivity are the main causes of weakened competitiveness. On the other hand, competing countries such as Vietnam and India have succeeded in improving the quality and efficiency of their supply chains through technological modernization and the application of consistent quality standards. Through a literature review, this study found that strengthening the implementation of GAP and GHP, increasing farmer capacity, modernizing post-harvest technology, and developing product downstreaming are key strategies for improving the competitiveness of Indonesian pepper exports. The implementation of these strategies is expected to increase added value, improve Indonesia's position in the global value chain, and support the sustainability of pepper exports in the future.

The high-value horticulture sector has gained increasing attention in modern agricultural development, particularly in the cultivation of premium melon through greenhouse and fertigation systems. The Satria Tani Hanggawana Cooperative has initiated premium melon farming to enhance members’ income; however, investment decisions in high-value commodities require a comprehensive financial feasibility assessment to ensure business sustainability. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of premium melon farming by examining production costs, revenue, income, and financial efficiency indicators. Using a descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches, the research was conducted through direct observation and interviews in two active greenhouses. The results show that the total production cost for one planting season reached Rp20,413,750, dominated by variable costs, reflecting the intensive input requirement to maintain product quality. The total revenue of Rp33,950,000 generated a net income of Rp13,536,250, indicating that the enterprise is financially profitable. The R/C Ratio of 1.67 confirms that the business operates efficiently, while the B/C Ratio of 0.67 indicates that net benefits remain below total costs due to reduced production caused by pest disturbances. The break-even analysis further shows that actual production far exceeded the minimum threshold required to avoid losses. Overall, the findings demonstrate that premium melon farming is financially viable, yet improvements in cost management, production monitoring, and greenhouse operational efficiency are essential to enhance profitability and long-term sustainability for the cooperative.
