This community service program was carried out in Karangharja Village with the aim of strengthening environmental awareness, promoting tree-planting initiatives, and establishing the foundation for household-level food security. The program employed the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through the stages of discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny, ensuring that all activities were rooted in local potential and community participation. The results indicate an increase in residents’ involvement in reforestation, productive home-garden utilization, and stronger collaboration between village authorities, farmer groups, Islamic educational institutions, and local community organizations. Furthermore, the community began forming self-help groups to ensure sustainability, while Islamic-value-based environmental education successfully encouraged behavioral changes and early ecological awareness among children. These findings confirm that the ABCD approach is effective in enhancing community-based food security and environmental awareness.

This study explores the implementation of circular economy principles within Safina Quilt, an MSME in Balikpapan that transforms textile waste—such as fabric scraps and discarded clothing—into value-added products. Safina Quilt applies the concepts of reduction, reuse, and upcycling throughout its production processes using quilting techniques, while simultaneously establishing an inclusive supply chain that engages local tailors, individuals with disabilities, and homemakers. This business model not only delivers economic gains by increasing profit margins and expanding market reach but also generates substantial social benefits by empowering vulnerable community groups. Although challenges remain, including limited access to supporting materials, constraints in production capacity, and insufficient digital marketing efforts, Safina Quilt demonstrates how MSMEs can successfully integrate environmental, economic, and social sustainability. Strengthening supply chain mechanisms, enhancing production capabilities, and improving digital marketing strategies are essential for scaling up and ensuring long-term business sustainability.

This study is motivated by the tourism potential of Tamsar 27 in Bengkelang Village, Bandar Pusaka Sub-district, Aceh Tamiang Regency, which offers clear river streams, scenic natural landscapes, and a peaceful rural atmosphere, yet has not been optimally managed to improve the local economy. The purpose of this research is to analyze strategies for community-based tourism management to enhance local welfare. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, using field observations, interviews, and documentation as data-collection techniques. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing stages. The results reveal five main strategies for improving community economy through tourism management at Tamsar 27: (1) improving tourism infrastructure; (2) empowering local communities through training in tourism management and entrepreneurship; (3) diversifying tourism-related businesses such as homestays and local specialty products; (4) optimizing digital promotion; and (5) strengthening partnerships among the village government, village-owned enterprises (BUMDes), and private sectors to ensure sustainable tourism development. The implications of this study demonstrate that applying the principles of community-based tourism and empowerment theory provides an effective foundation for developing sustainable rural tourism destinations while simultaneously enhancing local income and community self-reliance.

Bullying behavior in elementary schools, characterized by the intentional harm of others, can manifest as teasing, harsh words, intimidation, and physical actions. It involves aggressive and repeated behavior aimed at demeaning others, which can significantly impact victims. Repeated bullying can lead to psychological issues, hindering students' ability to engage in the learning process, communicate with peers, and interact at home. Bullying in schools can result in mental health problems like anxiety and depression, academic struggles such as poor performance and truancy, and social challenges like difficulty forming relationships. Long-term effects may include trauma, low self-esteem, and even self-harm. To prevent bullying, schools should adopt a holistic approach that includes collaboration with parents and students. Strategies involve character education to promote empathy and respect, establishing clear school policies, and creating a safe, supportive environment. Raising awareness through anti-bullying campaigns and providing psychological support for victims, along with intervention for perpetrators, can further contribute to reducing bullying. Engaging the entire school community in these efforts is crucial to creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where bullying is actively prevented.

This Community Service activity (PKM) was carried out at the Church of Faith, Hope, and Love (IHAKA) with the aim of empowering lay members who do not have a formal theological background but have a desire to serve as Cell Group (KOMSEL) leaders. The method used is a participatory approach based on training and contextual reflection, consisting of three stages: interactive workshops, service reflection, and mentoring. The training is designed to equip participants with basic understanding of spiritual leadership, the ability to communicate the Word, as well as patterns of household worship relevant to the congregation's context. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' confidence in leading worship, the ability to actively discuss the Word, and the formation of closer service relationships through prayer and shared meals. Post-training mentorship also strengthens participants' commitment to serving with faithfulness and humility. This activity demonstrates that service is not merely a routine activity, but a calling in life that can be carried out by lay congregants through simple yet impactful guidance. This PKM is expected to serve as an initial model for other local churches in nurturing lay ministers in a contextual and sustainable manner.

This study aims to explore the potential of Ajung Village, Kalisat District, Jember Regency, through an analysis of the management planning of a Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) as an instrument of development and community empowerment. Although Ajung Village has significant economic potential, particularly in the agricultural sector, micro-enterprises, and other local economic activities, BUMDes management is still not optimal. This is evident in the lack of a directed business plan, weak coordination between administrators, and minimal evaluation of the business units being run. This study also assesses the role of the village government in supporting BUMDes development and the extent to which community participation can drive the effectiveness of existing programs. Using qualitative descriptive methods through interviews with the village government, BUMDes administrators, and the community, the results show that although community participation is relatively high, the managerial capacity of the administrators remains a major challenge. Lack of training, understanding of financial governance, and the lack of potential mapping have prevented the village BUMDes from functioning optimally as a driver of the village economy. Therefore, this study designs strategies to increase the effectiveness of BUMDes by strengthening the capacity of administrators, optimizing local potential, and synergizing the village government with the community.

Posyandu, as a form of community-based health efforts, plays a crucial role in improving maternal and child health. However, its implementation in the Mutiara Community Health Center (Puskesmas Mutiara) in Asahan Regency still faces various challenges, such as low cadre capacity, suboptimal service quality, and limited community participation. This community service activity aims to strengthen cadre capacity through Posyandu revitalization as an effort to improve the quality of basic health services. A total of 63 Posyandu cadres participated in the activities, which were implemented through counseling, education, and coaching using revised service standard guidelines. This program was implemented through four stages: preparation, implementation, analysis of results, and evaluation. Improvement in cadre knowledge was measured using pretests and posttests. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the level of knowledge of cadres, as seen in the change in assessment categories from the majority being in the "poor" category during the pretest to "sufficient" and "good" in the posttest. This indicates that the education and coaching provided were effective in improving cadres' understanding and skills. Increasing cadre capacity is expected to improve the quality of Posyandu services, increase public trust, and support efforts to reduce morbidity and mortality in the Mutiara Community Health Center's work area. Cross-sector collaboration and ongoing mentoring are needed to maintain the sustainability of Posyandu revitalization.
