This study examines the role of extension agents in supporting the success of beef cattle farmer groups in Tabongo District, Gorontalo Regency. The success of farmer groups is influenced not only by livestock potential, but also by the effectiveness of extension services, institutional capacity, and farmers’ willingness to adopt improved farming practices. Using an explanatory approach, the study collected primary data from 50 members of beef cattle farmer groups across nine villages through a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The descriptive findings show that extension agents performed well as educators, facilitators, motivators, dynamizers, and catalysts. However, the catalyst role was excluded from the regression model because its indicators were invalid. Partially, only the motivator role had a significant effect on group success, with a coefficient of 1.683, t-value of 4.758, and significance value of 0.000. The educator, facilitator, and dynamizer roles showed positive but insignificant effects. Simultaneously, the roles of extension agents significantly influenced group success, with an F-value of 9.474 and significance value of 0.000. The R Square value of 0.457 indicates that extension agents explained 45.7% of group success.

This study aims to examine the role of customer trust as a mediating variable in the relationship between digital marketing strategies and consumer behavior. As digital marketing evolves, companies are required not only to create engaging content but also to build strong trust to influence purchase intention, loyalty, and customer engagement. This research employs a systematic literature review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines, selecting 52 empirical articles from reputable international databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCOhost, and ScienceDirect, published between 2015 and 2026. The analysis involved thematic and descriptive synthesis to assess the strength of digital marketing’s impact on customer trust and consumer behavior outcomes. The results indicate that digital marketing has a significant positive effect on customer trust formation (β=0.652; p<0.001). Customer trust functions as a partial mediator that strengthens the impact of digital marketing on purchase intention, loyalty, and engagement. The direct effect of digital marketing on consumer behavior is weaker when trust is not optimally established. These findings emphasize that effective digital marketing strategies must focus on transparency, security, credibility, and personalization to maximize consumer behavior outcomes. Practically, this study provides important implications for companies and digital marketing practitioners, highlighting that successful campaigns rely not only on content and visibility but also on the ability to build customer trust. The study also opens avenues for future research to examine more specific trust dimensions, including platform integrity, information quality, and social proof, within increasingly complex digital marketing contexts.

Student engagement remains a critical determinant of academic success in elementary education, yet traditional instructional approaches often fail to sustain meaningful participation. This narrative literature review synthesizes contemporary evidence (2020–2026) on the strategic planning of Case-Based Learning (CBL) and its impact on multidimensional student engagement in primary schools. Using Google Scholar as the primary database, peer-reviewed studies were screened and thematically analyzed to identify core planning components, engagement outcomes, and contextual implementation factors. The synthesis revealed five essential instructional design elements: developmentally appropriate case selection, structured scaffolding, explicit curriculum alignment, adequate temporal allocation, and authentic assessment. Empirical findings consistently demonstrate that well-planned CBL significantly enhances behavioral participation, cognitive deepening, and affective motivation among elementary learners. However, implementation success is heavily moderated by teacher pedagogical competence, institutional support, and adaptive resource utilization. These findings underscore the necessity of integrating CBL planning frameworks into teacher professional development and curriculum design. Ultimately, strategically designed case-based instruction offers a transformative pathway to reinvigorate elementary classrooms, though sustained adoption requires targeted training, flexible policies, and further longitudinal research on engagement trajectories in primary education.

The health of elementary school-aged children is a crucial phase for physical growth and cognitive development, but the school environment is often vulnerable to the spread of disease due to a lack of understanding of hygiene. This community service activity aims to increase students' awareness of the dangers of germs at SD Negeri Sumberbulu 1 through education on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) with a primary focus on Handwashing with Soap (CTPS). The implementation method is carried out through three stages: preparation and coordination, educational implementation using animated videos and live demonstrations of the 6 steps of CTPS, and the follow-up stage. The results of the activity showed that the use of visual media and icebreakers effectively increased students' enthusiasm and understanding in absorbing the health steps taught. As a form of sustainability, the team coordinated with the school, which then expressed its willingness to integrate the CTPS scheme into the school's daily routine independently. Thus, this program successfully transformed healthy behavior into a permanent school culture to maintain the quality of life for the next generation.

This study was conducted to examine, from an organizational behavior perspective, how leadership styles influence employee work behavior at the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dukcapil) of Magelang Regency. This study utilized various reference sources, including books, scientific journals, and previous research on leadership, organizational behavior, and employee work behavior. The results showed that certain leadership styles have a significant impact on employee work behavior, particularly in terms of improving discipline, motivation, responsibility, and the quality of public services. Transformational, democratic, and authentic leadership styles are considered more effective because they can create a good work environment, build trust, and encourage positive behaviors such as cooperation and initiative. Conversely, ineffective leadership can lead to low work motivation, decreased organizational commitment, and decreased quality of public services. Furthermore, this study shows that organizational systems are not the only factor influencing the success of public services; leaders also have the necessary expertise to direct and change employee work behavior. Therefore, a flexible and engaging leadership style is an important component in improving the quality of public services at Dukcapil of Magelang Regency.

This study examines the systemic transformation of Japan’s refugee and immigration policy from 2021 to 2025, exploring how humanitarian paradigms have been superseded by state security considerations. The research aims to analyze how Japan constructs refugees as an existential threat to legitimize its restrictive reception regime, synthesizing Realism and Constructivism to explore the intersection of securitization, national interest, and identity. Methodologically, this paper employs a qualitative interpretive case study by integrating Ruth Wodak’s Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA) and Interpretive Process Tracing (IPT) to examine government texts, policy documents, and parliamentary debates. The findings reveal a profound policy asymmetry driven by intersubjective threat framing and institutionalized topoi (abuse, threat, law and order). Ukrainian displaced persons are positively categorized as evacuees (hinanmin) to align with G7 geopolitics, whereas traditional asylum seekers are pejoratively labeled as "repeated applicants" and framed as threats to public order, social harmony (wa), and ethnic homogeneity (tan’itsu minzoku). This discursive construction successfully legitimizes extraordinary measures within the 2023 amendment of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act (ICRRA), including the abolition of automatic deportation suspensions and the expansion of a surveillance state via alternative monitoring (kanri sochi). Ultimately, this study demonstrates that international norm compliance is deeply mediated by domestic cultural appropriateness (nihonjinron). It implies the necessity for future ethnographic research on grassroots impacts and suggests transparent asylum evaluation metrics aligned with non-refoulement principles.

The development of the digital economy has driven increased customer interaction through online chat services, making customer satisfaction a key factor in business success. Response speed and chat service quality are two important aspects in shaping the customer experience, but previous research has tended to examine them separately. This study aims to analyze the influence of online chat services and response speed on customer satisfaction partially and simultaneously. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review of 12 scientific articles from 2020–2025 obtained from academic databases such as Google Scholar and SINTA. The analysis technique used is descriptive-critical through the identification, comparison, and synthesis of previous research findings. The results show that online chat services have a positive effect on customer satisfaction, primarily through interaction quality such as information accuracy, ease of use, and problem-solving ability. Response speed has also proven to be an important determinant, where a fast response significantly increases customer satisfaction. However, speed without quality has the potential to decrease satisfaction. The discussion shows that the two variables have a complementary and inseparable relationship. Online chat services function as a medium for interaction, while response speed is a quality attribute that determines the effectiveness of the service. Therefore, the integration of both in one model is the main contribution of this research in filling the literature gap, especially in the context of e-commerce in Indonesia.

The escalation of negative sentiment in the digital space towards Rohingya refugees in Indonesia throughout 2023-2026 has reflected a shift in public perspectives, from humanitarian principles to restictive rejection. This study aims to analyze how digital discourse on TikTok dan Instagram platforms frames the Rohingyan refugee issue as a national security threat through the lens of Barry Buzan`s Securitization Theory and Ruth Wodak`s Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK). This study uses qualitative methods with note-taking techniques and filtering hastag-based viral data related to refugee rejection. The results show that the securitization process was successfully driven by three main typologies of netizen narratives: domestic socio-economic jealousy, delegetimization of Internasional authorities (UNHCR) by referring to popular legal discourse on the 1945 Constitution, and demands for an active role for the military (TNI AL) and Polair at maritime borders. The accumulation of speech acts that have gone viral on social media is evidence of the creation of strong horizontal pressure, thus urging the Indonesian goverment to review its policies towards a more restrictive direction (viral-based policy) to prioritize national soverignity and security over global humanitarian commitments.

This study discusses the reform of criminal law regarding acts of abuse of power within the Indonesian legal system. Abuse of power committed by public officials constitutes a serious violation of the rule of law and the principle of equality before the law because it can harm society and weaken public trust in the government. The old Criminal Code inherited from the colonial era was considered incapable of providing an optimal deterrent effect against perpetrators of abuse of authority. Therefore, the enactment of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the New Criminal Code became an important step in the reform of criminal law in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze criminal law reform policies in overcoming abuse of power and the effectiveness of their implementation in law enforcement. The results show that the new Criminal Code expands regulations regarding abuse of authority with stricter criminal sanctions and additional penalties in the form of revocation of office rights. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as political intervention, low integrity of law enforcement officials, and the potential overlap with the Corruption Eradication Law. Therefore, the success of criminal law reform requires the support of legal substance, legal structure, and legal culture that work in harmony.

Bariatric surgery is effective in treating obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM); however, pregnancy occurring within 12–24 months after surgery carries significant risks. This report presents a complex pregnancy case in a patient with a history of sleeve gastrectomy, post-hemithyroidectomy hypothyroidism, and T2DM. A 29-year-old primigravida conceived 2 months after undergoing sleeve gastrectomy, which successfully induced T2DM remission, with HbA1c decreasing from 11% to 5.5%. Although glycemic control and euthyroid status were maintained throughout pregnancy, the patient developed severe preeclampsia at 35–36 weeks of gestation, complicated by intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) and oligohydramnios. An emergency cesarean section delivered a male infant weighing 2000 grams with Apgar scores of 8 and 9 at the first and fifth minutes, respectively. The neonate required 14 days of NICU care due to respiratory distress syndrome, respiratory failure, and hyperbilirubinemia. Maternal gestational weight gain was suboptimal at only 4 kg, below the recommended range for pregnant women with obesity. This case highlights the importance of adhering to the recommended surgery-to-conception interval following bariatric surgery. Early pregnancy after surgery, combined with multiple metabolic comorbidities, may contribute to adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes. Multidisciplinary management, comprehensive nutritional monitoring, and optimization of comorbidities before conception are essential to improve pregnancy outcomes in this population.
