This study aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality on purchasing decisions for personal care products manufactured by PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk. The topic was chosen in response to increasingly intense competition in the cosmetics industry, along with a decline in sales performance of several Mandom products, which highlights the need for the company to better understand key factors affecting consumer purchasing behavior. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who use Mandom products, selected through purposive sampling. Prior to analysis, the research instruments were tested for validity and reliability to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and is the most dominant influencing factor. This finding suggests that consumers place strong emphasis on the suitability between price and perceived benefits when making purchasing decisions. Product quality also shows a positive and significant influence, although its effect is relatively smaller compared to price. Simultaneously, price and product quality explain a portion of the variation in purchasing decisions, while other factors outside the study also contribute. Based on these findings, PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk is advised to prioritize competitive pricing strategies while consistently maintaining product quality to enhance purchase intentions and strengthen consumer loyalty.

The rapid advancement of smartphone technology has shaped consumer buying behavior, especially among students who depend on these devices for learning and social interaction. This research examines how product features and price perceptions influence students’ decisions to purchase Oppo smartphones in Malang City. Using a quantitative research design, data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 428 respondents and processed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that both product features and perceived price positively and significantly affect purchasing decisions, with product features demonstrating a more dominant role. The proposed model accounts for 66.2% of the variance in purchase decisions, suggesting that these two factors play a substantial part in shaping consumer choices. The results highlight the need for manufacturers like Oppo to focus on continuous feature improvements and maintain competitive pricing to strengthen market appeal. It is also suggested that future studies integrate additional variables such as brand image, marketing promotions, or user experience to offer a broader and more in-depth explanation of the determinants influencing smartphone purchase behavior.

The halal status and price of a product significantly impact purchasing decisions. For example, Kropinka. The products offered have received halal certification from the relevant authorities. On the other hand, Kropinka also has a price difference compared to commonly sold coffee in the market. However, the demand for Kropinka is very high, leading Kropinka farmers to state that they struggle to meet the demand due to the sometimes insufficient supply of Kropinka. This situation makes Kropinka a suitable subject for research. The research methodology employed in this study is a quantitative method. The quantitative research method involves a specific population or sample. The data collected utilize research instruments and data analysis employs numerical (statistical) methods aimed at hypothesis testing applied to examine significance and hypothesis results. The review of the t-statistic shows 1.96, indicating that H0 is rejected. For the probability value, observing the p-value of 0.05, H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded from this research that Variables X1 and X2 have significant values due to the p-value of 0.05. Based on the results of the conducted study, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1. The halal label present on KROPINKA product packaging has a relationship and significantly influences the purchasing decision of KROPINKA products, as indicated by a significance level of 0.024 < 0.05. This evidence demonstrates that the presence of halal labeling on KROPINKA products provides a positive value that significantly impacts consumers' purchasing decisions. 2. The varied prices of KROPINKA products corresponding to the types of products have a relationship and significantly influence the purchasing decision, as indicated by a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This further proves that the price The diverse range of products from KROPINKA provides a positive value that has a significant opportunity to influence consumer purchasing decisions. Additionally, halal labeling and pricing have a relationship and simultaneously exert a significant influence on the purchasing decisions of KROPINKA products

Proceeding of the International Conference on Economics, Accounting, and Taxation 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the influence of multinationality and tax haven utilization on transfer pricing activities, with institutional ownership as a moderating variable. The research focuses on energy sector companies in Indonesia, using 70 data samples obtained from company reports and financial statements. Regression analysis with moderation was employed to test the hypotheses. The findings reveal that both multinationality and tax haven practices significantly influence transfer pricing activities. However, institutional ownership does not moderate the relationship between multinationality and transfer pricing but does moderate the relationship between tax haven and transfer pricing. These findings indicate that multinational expansion and the use of tax havens play an essential role in determining corporate transfer pricing behavior. Furthermore, the presence of institutional ownership strengthens the influence of tax haven utilization on transfer pricing practices, showing that ownership structure affects how companies manage their tax-related strategies. This research contributes to a better understanding of the determinants of transfer pricing in multinational enterprises and offers practical implications for policymakers in designing effective tax regulations and governance standards related to corporate taxation.

Indonesia's tax ratio remains below the 15 percent threshold recommended by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), reflecting a significant gap in tax revenue collection. This low ratio may indicate the presence of aggressive tax planning strategies, including tax avoidance practices, particularly among multinational enterprises. This study aims to empirically examine the relationship between multinationality, transfer pricing aggressiveness, and the use of tax havens on tax avoidance. The research focuses on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. A total of 64 companies were selected as samples through purposive sampling based on specific criteria, including the availability of relevant financial data and disclosure of international operations. The variables analyzed include the degree of multinationality, transfer pricing aggressiveness as proxied by related party transactions, and involvement with tax haven jurisdictions. The dependent variable, tax avoidance, is measured using the effective tax rate (ETR) approach. Data were processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of STATA version 17. The findings of the study reveal that multinationality and transfer pricing aggressiveness do not have a significant relationship with tax avoidance. In contrast, the use of tax haven countries is positively associated with tax avoidance, suggesting that firms utilizing tax havens are more likely to engage in practices that reduce their tax liabilities. These results have implications for tax authorities in identifying and addressing high-risk corporate behaviors related to offshore financial structures. The study contributes to the literature on international taxation by providing empirical evidence from a developing country context.

This study aims to analyze the practice of price determination in the buffet system without price labels at Café Santiniketan, Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, Campus 4 Banyuwangi, from the perspective of mashlahah mursalah and Islamic economic principles. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that Café Santiniketan has implemented the principles of fairness, honesty, and transparency in its transaction system. Payments are made before consumption to avoid elements of uncertainty (gharar), while pricing is based on the types of food selected and mutual consent (al-ridha). The buffet system provides flexibility for consumers to choose menu portions according to their needs. This practice aligns with the concept of mashlahah mursalah because it provides benefits for public interest and supports the economic independence of the pesantren community. However, challenges arise regarding the inconsistency between price and portion size, which has led to criticism from some customers. This condition highlights the need to improve price clarity to ensure compliance with the principle of fairness in Islamic economics. Overall, the implementation of the buying and selling system at Café Santiniketan has demonstrated good sharia-based economic practices, yet requires ongoing evaluation and development to ensure trust and customer satisfaction.

Bontang Kuala, a coastal village in Bontang City, possesses abundant marine resources, particularly bawis fish (Siganus canaliculatus). However, this potential has not been fully optimized to strengthen the local economy. This study aims to examine strategies for strengthening the local economy through the management of bawis fish products using the 4P marketing mix (product, price, place, and promotion). This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection methods including observation, in-depth interviews with business owners and visitors, and field documentation. The findings indicate that business actors in Bontang Kuala have developed various processed bawis fish products, such as gammi bawis and dried bawis fish, marketed with pricing strategies adjusted to purchasing power. Most businesses are strategically located along the culinary tourism route, although accessibility challenges persist. Promotion strategies remain simple and limited to social media and local community support. Key supporting factors include raw material availability, high market demand, and community institutional support, while constraints include infrastructure limitations, suboptimal promotion, and raw material fluctuations. Overall, the management of bawis fish products has positively impacted community income and strengthened local economic identity. Recommendations include strengthening business infrastructure, enhancing digital promotion capacity, developing community-based business institutions, and expanding strategic partnerships among local actors.

This study explores the intellectual and thematic evolution of green sukuk research within Islamic sustainable finance from 2015 to 2025. Using a hybrid methodological design that integrates the PRISMA-guided Systematic Literature Review with Watase Uake network analysis, the study identifies 17 core Scopus-indexed articles that collectively define the field’s conceptual and empirical development. Results reveal a three-phase evolution: (1) a formative stage emphasizing ethical legitimacy and Sharia compliance; (2) a transitional phase integrating pricing efficiency, market risk, and policy frameworks; and (3) a maturity phase characterized by econometric modeling, behavioral-finance integration, and sustainability governance. Thematic clusters extracted from bibliometric mapping include financial performance and market dynamics, institutional legitimacy and policy frameworks, behavioral intention and investor psychology, and technological innovation and ESG disclosure. Despite methodological advancement, the literature remains geographically concentrated in Malaysia and Indonesia and exhibits theoretical fragmentation across behavioral, financial, and institutional models. Findings highlight key research gaps involving contradictory evidence on yield–risk relationships, inconsistent behavioral determinants of investment intention, and insufficient integration of moderating or mediating mechanisms. The study advances theoretical pluralism by connecting the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Institutional and Legitimacy Theory, and Resource-Based View (RBV) into an integrated model explaining how legitimacy, behavior, and strategic capability jointly drive green sukuk adoption. Policy implications emphasize the need for harmonized regulation, behavioral incentives, and digital transparency to strengthen credibility and accelerate sustainable-finance transformation in line with SDGs 7 and 13.
