The phenomenon of tax avoidance in Indonesia remains a significant issue, one of which is the case of PT. Adaro Energy Tbk, which practiced tax avoidance through transfer pricing to its subsidiary in Singapore, Coaltrade Service International, from 2009 to 2017. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to analyze the effect of leverage and profitability on tax avoidance with transfer pricing as a moderating variable in coal subsector energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2021–2023 period. This study uses descriptive analysis methods, classical assumption tests, Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), and hypothesis testing with t-tests. The data processing tool used is SPSS version 23. The study population consisted of 45 companies, and through purposive sampling technique, 12 companies were obtained as samples with a three-year observation period, resulting in a total sample of 36 data. The results show that leverage has a positive effect on tax avoidance, while profitability has no effect on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, transfer pricing has a negative effect on tax avoidance. Interestingly, transfer pricing has been shown to strengthen the relationship between leverage and tax avoidance, as well as the relationship between profitability and tax avoidance. This finding confirms that "transfer pricing can be a significant moderating factor in corporate tax management strategies." Therefore, the results of this study contribute to understanding tax avoidance practices in the coal subsector for companies and regulators, as well as providing policy implications for tax regulations in Indonesia.

The Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in enhancing the village economy by utilizing the potential within the village. One of the main challenges faced by BUMDes is the issue of capital, which affects the ability of businesses to grow and achieve their shared goals. This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional bias on investment decisions with reward-based investment balance as a mediating variable. This study used a sample of 108 BUMDes scattered across six regions in Central Java. The sampling method employed was a combination of purposive sampling and cluster sampling, where the selected BUMDes represent specific regions and involve investors from the community or community groups. Data were collected from BUMDes in six regions (administrative areas) in Central Java. The analysis tools used in this study include simple regression, multiple regression, and the Sobel test for mediation, supported by normality tests, classical deviation tests, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that emotional bias significantly affected the investment decisions of the community (t = 3.034; sig = 0.000) and also influenced the reward-based investment balance (t = 4.256; sig = 0.000). Additionally, the reward-based investment balance variable was proven to have a direct impact on investment decisions (t = 3.190; sig = 0.000). This study also found that the reward-based investment balance variable partially mediates the effect of emotional bias on investment decisions, meaning that this effect can still be mediated by other variables. The Sobel test indicated a significant result (t = 3.104; sig = 0.000), showing that the effect of emotional bias on investment decisions can be mediated through reward-based investment balance.

This study investigates the influence of organizational culture and school leadership on teacher performance through work motivation as an intervening variable at SMA N 2 Pasaman Barat. The research employed a quantitative approach, with the entire population consisting of 46 teachers serving as respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method, including assessments of both the outer and inner models, as well as hypothesis testing. Data processing was conducted with the SmartPLS 3 software package to ensure accuracy and reliability in statistical analysis. The findings reveal that organizational culture has a significant positive effect on work motivation, indicating that a supportive and constructive organizational environment fosters higher levels of teacher motivation. Similarly, school leadership demonstrates a substantial impact on work motivation, emphasizing the importance of principals in inspiring and guiding teachers to remain engaged in their professional roles. Furthermore, the analysis shows that organizational culture significantly affects teacher performance, suggesting that strong cultural values and shared norms within the school enhance overall effectiveness in teaching. In contrast, the results indicate that school leadership does not have a direct significant effect on teacher performance, highlighting that leadership influence may be indirect, primarily channeled through motivational factors. Additionally, work motivation itself is found not to exert a substantial effect on teacher performance, suggesting that motivation alone may be insufficient without being supported by other organizational and contextual factors. When tested as an intervening variable, work motivation does not significantly mediate the relationship between organizational culture and teacher performance, nor between school leadership and teacher performance. Overall, the study contributes to the understanding of how organizational culture and leadership interact with teacher motivation and performance, with implications for educational management strategies aimed at enhancing teacher outcomes in secondary schools.

The results of the analysis indicate that both taste and service quality exert significant and positive influences on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, service quality demonstrates a significant and direct positive effect on customer loyalty. In contrast, taste does not show a direct influence on loyalty, suggesting that its effect on loyalty is more indirect and mediated by satisfaction Additionally, the mediation analysis confirms that customer satisfaction plays a critical role in linking both taste and service quality to customer loyalty. This implies that while customers may appreciate the taste of food, it is their overall satisfaction—encompassing both taste and service experiences—that ultimately drives loyalty. The study highlights the importance for culinary businesses, particularly in the competitive food service industry, to focus not only on product quality but also on delivering excellent service to enhance satisfaction and foster long-term customer relationships. The findings provide practical insights for Dapoer MbokSum Kediri and similar establishments to strategically prioritize service quality improvements alongside maintaining food taste to maximize customer retention and loyalty.

In this study, a quantitative approach was used with a survey method, where data was collected through questionnaires distributed to customers who have used Sky Beauty Care services. The analysis results show that relationship marketing has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. The trust built between customers and the company, the company's commitment to providing the best service, clear and open communication, and prompt and effective complaint handling all contribute to increased customer satisfaction. This high customer satisfaction, in turn, has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Customers who are satisfied with the service they receive are more likely to use the service again and recommend it to others, ultimately strengthening the customer's relationship with the company. These findings provide an important contribution to Sky Beauty Care in formulating more effective marketing strategies. Better implementation of relationship marketing can increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, which ultimately has a positive impact on business sustainability and growth. Therefore, companies need to continuously strengthen customer relationships by improving service quality, communicating effectively, and responding to customer complaints. Therefore, relationship marketing can be key to successfully retaining customers and increasing their loyalty. Furthermore, this study also shows that customer satisfaction is not only a direct result of relationship marketing but also a key driver in fostering sustainable customer loyalty.

This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy and learning environment on learning outcomes, with learning motivation as a mediating variable, among students of SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta. Employing a quantitative approach with a survey method, the research involved a population of 175 students, all of whom were included as the sample through a total sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The analytical procedures encompassed measurement model analysis, structural model analysis, and hypothesis testing for both direct and indirect effects. The findings reveal a positive and significant direct effect of self-efficacy on learning outcomes, indicating that students with higher confidence in their abilities tend to achieve better academic performance. Similarly, the learning environment was found to have a positive and significant direct effect on learning outcomes, suggesting that supportive academic surroundings contribute meaningfully to student achievement. However, the study found no significant direct effect of learning motivation on learning outcomes, nor any significant mediating role of learning motivation in the relationships between self-efficacy and learning outcomes or between learning environment and learning outcomes. These results imply that while self-efficacy and a conducive learning environment are key determinants of academic success, the role of learning motivation as an intervening variable may not be as substantial in this context. The absence of mediation suggests that motivation alone may not bridge the gap between personal and environmental factors and actual academic performance. This study contributes to educational research by providing empirical evidence on the complex interplay between psychological, environmental, and motivational factors influencing student achievement, highlighting the need for educators to strengthen both self-belief and learning conditions to optimize outcomes.
