Punctuality is a crucial factor in ship repair projects because it directly affects operational efficiency, project costs, and the utilization rate of shipyard facilities. Delays in work completion can lead to increased costs, disruption of ship operational schedules, and decreased shipyard productivity. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and optimize the repair scheduling of Ship X at PT XYZ using the Critical Path Method (CPM). The research data were obtained from the actual project schedule compiled using Microsoft Project software, including the duration of each activity and the dependency relationships between tasks. The analysis results show that the project has one main critical path with a total duration of 74 hours. Most activities are on the critical path with a float value of 0 hours, while the Non-Destructive Test Penetrant Testing activity has a time slack of 1 hour. The application of the CPM method has proven effective in identifying critical activities, improving schedule control, and supporting managerial decision-making in optimizing ship repair projects.

This study evaluates the legal perspective concerning business competition in Indonesia regarding alleged abuse of dominant power in the competition between digital platforms TikTok Shop (including the acquisition of Tokopedia) and Shopee. The method applied is normative juridical with a case study approach, referring to Law Number 5 of 1999, particularly Articles 19–21 related to market control and Article 20 concerning below-cost selling practices. The analysis focuses on inter-platform integration, aggressive discount strategies, use of cross-platform data, as well as post-acquisition behavior that may hinder healthy competition. The assessment is conducted by considering market structure, business actors' behavior, and law enforcement efforts by the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU). Research findings indicate that although TikTok Shop has strong competitiveness following the acquisition, proving the existence of abuse of a dominant position requires meeting legal and economic provisions rigorously. Therefore, the implementation of conditional approval and remedial measures by the KPPU is considered a reasonable step to maintain a healthy business competition environment in the digital era.

The economic valuation of natural resources (NR) is an important instrument in supporting evidence-based decision-making, particularly in sustainable environmental management. Cost–Benefit Analysis (CBA) serves as a primary approach to assess the economic feasibility of programs or policies by integrating all benefits and costs, including non-market values. This article presents a systematic literature review of studies employing CBA for NR valuation during the period 2010–2024, based on searches in Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, Taylor & Francis, and Google Scholar, using stringent selection criteria. The review findings indicate that CBA has been widely applied in forest management, biodiversity conservation, land rehabilitation, water and air pollution control, and ecotourism development, providing a quantitative depiction of economic feasibility through indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit–Cost Ratio (BCR), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Key challenges were identified in non-market valuation, long-term uncertainty, data limitations, and sensitivity to discount rate assumptions. These findings underscore the importance of integrating environmental valuation methods, conducting comprehensive sensitivity analyses, and adopting multidisciplinary approaches to strengthen the application of CBA in sustainable NR management, while also offering strategic recommendations and directions for future research for policymakers and environmental economics scholars.

API abuse on lightweight edge gateways has intensified as microservice-based services expose many REST endpoints to heterogeneous clients. Conventional per-identity rate limiting, such as static token buckets, is frequently bypassed through distributed bots and identity rotation, while legitimate burst traffic may be rejected and degrade user experience. This study proposes Adaptive Rate Limiting with Verifiable Delay Functions (ARL-VDF), which couples a lightweight risk score with selective VDF challenges to impose a tunable sequential-computation cost on suspicious clients without forcing aggressive dropping for low-risk users. The gateway continuously derives a per-identity risk score from short-window request rate, error tendency, and identity freshness, then maps the score to a target delay bounded by  and . Evaluation uses a 600-second discrete-event simulation on a mixed workload consisting of normal clients, legitimate bursts, and distributed attackers. Compared with a static token bucket baseline, ARL-VDF maintains full success for legitimate traffic, reduces attacker throughput that passes the gateway, and keeps verification overhead within a fixed budget on the edge device. The results indicate that combining adaptive control with verifiable sequential cost can improve availability and fairness on resource-constrained edge gateways without resorting to aggressive dropping.

Production planning and inventory control are critical aspects of operations management, as they directly influence cost efficiency, resource utilization, and the continuity of the production process. Ineffective planning and inventory decisions may lead to excessive costs, production delays, or imbalances between supply and demand. The complexity of these problems, which often involve multi-period horizons and multi-stage decision-making processes, has encouraged the application of quantitative optimization methods, one of which is dynamic programming. This study aims to analyze and synthesize the application of dynamic programming in production planning and inventory control through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The SLR process was conducted by systematically identifying, selecting, and analyzing 15 relevant national journal articles published between 2015 and 2024 and obtained from various recognized scientific databases. The reviewed literature indicates that dynamic programming is effective in supporting optimal decision-making by determining appropriate production quantities and inventory levels, minimizing total production and holding costs, and managing fluctuating demand conditions. In addition, this method helps reduce the risks associated with overstock and stockouts by considering sequential decision structures. However, the findings also reveal several limitations of dynamic programming, including high computational complexity, strong dependence on deterministic data assumptions, and limited flexibility in handling high levels of uncertainty. These constraints suggest the need for further methodological development or integration with other approaches to enhance practical applicability.

Postoperative pain is a common physiological response following surgical procedures, and its suboptimal management can have physiological and psychological effects, including sleep disturbances, decreased functional capacity, increased anxiety, and deterioration in quality of life. This scoping review aims to describe the empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of music therapy in reducing the intensity of postoperative pain in surgical patients. A systematic search was conducted through four major databases (ScienceDirect, PubMed, Neliti, and Google Scholar) using Boolean operators and keywords such as ‘postoperative pain,’ ‘music therapy,’ and ‘pain scale.’ Inclusion criteria included articles published in the last decade, in English or Indonesian, and available in full text format. In accordance with PRISMA-ScR guidelines, this review analysed 10 articles. The synthesis of results showed that music therapy consistently reduced pain intensity, anxiety, and analgesic requirements through mechanisms such as increased endorphin secretion, decreased stress hormone levels, and activation of the gate control theory. Typically administered for 15–30 minutes, music therapy is a safe, cost-effective, and patient-acceptable non-pharmacological modality. This intervention is recommended as an adjunct component in perioperative pain management in nursing practice, although further standardised research is needed to improve consistency.

Background: In the domain of corporate governance, the separation of ownership and control generates significant agency conflicts, primarily manifesting as Earnings Management (EM). Traditional reactive auditing methods fail to detect manipulation concealed within unstructured data, leading to high agency costs and diminished stakeholder trust. Objective: This study proposes an "AI Proactive Monitoring Model" utilizing Generative Artificial Intelligence to fundamentally enhance the monitoring mechanisms of Agency Theory. Methods: The research employs a qualitative conceptual framework analysis. It synthesizes Agency Theory with the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Systemic Risk Theory to construct a novel strategic governance model. Results: The proposed model shifts governance from periodic sampling to real-time, continuous analysis of total data populations. By cross-referencing structured financial data with unstructured communications (e.g., emails, contracts), the system generates "Risk Narratives" that contextualize anomalies and flag opportunistic behavior immediately. Conclusion: The integration of AI significantly reduces information asymmetry and moral hazard by creating a "panopticon" effect. However, successful implementation requires distinct regulatory frameworks to manage the systemic risks associated with algorithmic reliance.

Sweet corn is a horticultural commodity that is widely consumed in Indonesia. This study evaluated the effectiveness of NPK 18-18-18 fertilizer on the vegetative growth, yield components, and relative agronomic effectiveness (RAE) of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata). Field experiments were conducted using fertilizer dosages of 0,50, 0,75, 1,00, and 1,50 NPK, with a control treatment for comparison. The application of NPK 18-18-18 significantly increased plant height, stem diameter, leaf number, ear length, ear diameter, biomass weight, ear weight with husk, ear weight without husk, plot yield, and overall productivity compared with the control. Mean values across treatments ranged from 68,94–205,72 cm for plant height, 7,41–20,47 mm for stem diameter, 6,01–13,00 leaves per plant, 15,41–20,89 cm for ear length, and 36,05–49,65 mm for ear diameter. Biomass weight ranged from 0,12–0,34 kg, ear weight with husk from 0,13–0,34 kg, and ear weight without husk from 0,12–0,28 kg. Plot yield varied between 7,91–25,46 kg, corresponding to productivity levels of 5,02–16,16 t/ha. RAE analysis indicated that fertilizer application was effective at dosages of 0,75, 1,00, and 1,50 NPK, with the highest effectiveness observed at 1,50 NPK (118%). Notably, the 0,75 NPK dosage achieved an RAE value of 101%, demonstrating that lower fertilizer input can enhance yield while reducing production costs and mitigating fertilizer scarcity. These findings suggest that NPK 18-18-18 fertilizer, when applied at an optimal dosage, can be effectively utilized in sweet corn cultivation to improve growth and productivity while ensuring efficient nutrient management.
