This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding of local business actors in Kanekes Village (Baduy Luar) regarding the implementation of a sales information system to support the management and marketing of traditional handicraft products. The main problems faced by partners include unstructured transaction recording, low utilization of sales data, and business management that is still based on memory. The implementation method uses a participatory approach through socialization, training, hands-on practice, and mentoring, with data collection techniques carried out through interviews and field observations. The activity was conducted on April 17, 2026, involving MSME handicraft actors as the main partners. The results show an increase in business actors’ understanding of the importance of sales recording systems as a basis for business management. Participants began to be able to record transactions in a more structured and simple manner and utilize sales data to monitor business performance and identify the most in-demand products. In addition, there was a shift in business management patterns from memory-based to simple data-based systems. This activity also encouraged improvements in digital literacy through the introduction of social media utilization and digital marketing strategies. Overall, this program contributes to strengthening the capacity of business actors and supporting the more effective and sustainable development of traditional product marketing. Assistance in obtaining a Business License Number (NIB) and halal certification at Rewwin Housing was carried out as a strategic effort to promote legality and increase the competitiveness of MSMEs. In general, many business actors still do not have legal status due to limited knowledge regarding administrative procedures and digital licensing systems. In fact, business legality is a crucial aspect that can increase consumer trust, expand market access, and strengthen a business's position amidst competition. Sobar et al. (2023), "improving product quality and becoming a service are key factors in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs," which is supported, among other things, by having a business legality. The mentoring activity was carried out on February 7–8, 2026, using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which emphasized active participation between the mentor and business actors in identifying obstacles and completing the mentoring process together. Through this process, MSME partners gained practical understanding regarding NIB registration through the OSS system and halal certification applications. The results of the activity showed an increased awareness that business legality is not only an administrative responsibility, but also a strategic increase in business credibility and professionalism. Ridwan et al. (2024) legal assistance can increase the understanding and readiness of MSME actors in developing their businesses sustainably.

The development of digital technology has encouraged micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the culinary sector, to adapt by utilizing online applications as a strategy to increase competitiveness. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and capabilities of business owners at Kedai Jajanan Zahira in Surabaya in utilizing online applications as a marketing and sales tool. The method used in this study is Participatory Action Research (PAR), an approach that actively involves business actors in every stage of the process. These stages include problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and direct observation to obtain a realistic picture of business conditions. The results of the activity showed an increase in business owners' understanding of the importance of digitalization, improved skills in using food delivery applications and social media, and increased market reach and interaction with consumers. In addition, the use of online applications also contributed to increased operational efficiency, such as more systematic order management and transaction recording. Overall, mentoring in the use of online applications has proven effective in increasing the competitiveness of culinary businesses. This activity has a positive impact not only on increasing sales, but also on business sustainability through increased digital literacy and the ability to adapt to technological developments. Therefore, ongoing mentoring is needed so that business actors can consistently optimize the use of digital technology in developing their businesses.

This research was conducted with the aim of helping MSME actors, particularly salted egg MSMEs in Penanae Village, to understand the importance of applying business ethics principles in their operations to create a good business system. This is also important to establish a healthy relationship between MSME actors and consumers. The method offered to partners/UMKM is in the form of education/socialization using LEAFLETS conducted door to door. The material provided in the leaflet includes discussions on (1) The Role of Ethics in Business for UMKM actors, (2) Benefits of Business for UMKM actors, (3) Application of ethical principles in business activities such as finance, marketing, production, and HR. The results of the education show a change in participants' responses, with a better understanding of attitudes and knowledge regarding business ethics.

This study aims to understand the psychological dynamics of bilih fish traders at Lake Singkarak in facing periods of scarcity, including psychological processes, survival strategies, and the impacts experienced. This research employs a qualitative approach using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results show that the traders possess strong psychological resilience in dealing with economic and environmental pressures. Cognitively, they demonstrate adaptive thinking and maintain optimism; affectively, they are able to manage negative emotions such as anxiety and stress; and conatively, they remain active in making efforts to sustain their businesses. The adaptive strategies implemented include business diversification, restructuring of capital management, and strengthening social networks with fishermen and other business actors. These dynamics are influenced by internal factors such as experience, religious values, and social responsibility, as well as external factors such as environmental conditions and market competition. Overall, psychological resilience, social values, and spirituality are key factors in maintaining business sustainability during periods of scarcity. Therefore, support from the government is needed in the form of training, financial assistance, and policies that favor local business actors.

The rapid development of communication technology has spurred public demand for smartphones, particularly iPhones, seen as a symbol of prestige and advanced technology. This high demand has been exploited by unscrupulous business actors who distribute parallel import (black market) iPhones that are not officially registered, posing risks to consumers. This study examines the legal protection procedures for consumers, the legal standing of consumers in black market iPhone transactions, and the liability of business actors under Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (UUPK). Using a normative legal research method, the study employs statutory and conceptual approaches, analyzing primary, secondary, and tertiary sources. The findings indicate that consumer protection can be achieved through preventive measures such as public education and information transparency, and repressive measures via dispute resolution mechanisms, both in court and through the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK). Consumers' legal rights are acknowledged, though they remain vulnerable due to the purchase of illegal goods. Business actors may be held liable for product liability, including the obligation to provide accurate information and face sanctions. In conclusion, consumer protection in black market iPhone transactions remains insufficient, and stronger enforcement is necessary.

The rapid development of corporate business activities in Indonesia has contributed positively to economic growth; however, it also has the potential to cause losses to consumers. In practice, corporations often engage in unlawful acts that harm consumers, including violations of consumer rights, the provision of goods and/or services that do not meet required standards, and actions that contravene statutory regulations. This study aims to analyze the forms of legal protection for consumers as well as corporate liability for unlawful acts committed by corporations. This research employs a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. The legal materials used consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary sources, which are analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that legal protection for consumers has been regulated in various laws and regulations, particularly the Consumer Protection Law; however, its implementation still faces several challenges, such as weak law enforcement, low consumer awareness, and the complexity of proving corporate liability as a legal subject. Furthermore, corporate liability may be imposed through civil, criminal, and administrative sanctions depending on the nature of the violation committed. In conclusion, strengthening regulations and more effective law enforcement are necessary to ensure consumer protection from unlawful acts by corporations. In addition, enhancing the role of supervisory institutions and public legal awareness is essential to create a balance between the interests of business actors and consumers.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting local and national economic development, particularly through employment generation and income distribution. Seasonal religious events such as Ramadan significantly influence consumption patterns and market dynamics, creating both opportunities and challenges for MSMEs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the “Seri Ramadhan” phenomenon within the strategic management practices of MSMEs in Martapura, focusing on the periods before and after Ramadan. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with field study methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving selected MSME actors in the culinary, fashion, and retail sectors. The findings indicate that prior to Ramadan, MSMEs emphasize strategic planning through product innovation, stock preparation, promotional intensification, and operational adjustments. After Ramadan, they conduct performance evaluations, inventory control, and strategic realignment to maintain business sustainability. The study highlights that Ramadan is not merely a short-term sales opportunity but also a strategic momentum integrated into broader business planning cycles. The implications suggest that adaptive and cyclical strategic management enhances MSME resilience and competitive advantage in seasonal markets.

The development of information technology has become a primary pillar in enhancing corporate operational efficiency, where rapid and accurate data integration significantly determines business competitiveness. Case study in PT Gawi Anjung Bersama (GAB) revealed that the company is facing operational constraints because the management of delivery orders and invoices still relies on conventional office applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word. This procedure causes hurdles in data sharing among staff and results in low information security due to the absence of integrated access control settings. This research aims to design and develop the Gawi Anjung Bersama Information System (SIGAB), a web-based system implementing the CodeIgniter framework. The system is developed using Waterfall model, encompassing stages from analysis, design, and implementation to testing. The research flow starts with problem identification, primary and secondary data collection, and functional and non-functional requirements analysis. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling, specifically Use Case and Class Diagrams, as well as Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) for the database. The system interface is designed as wireframes on Figma web. This system separates access rights into three main actors namely owner, administrator, and staff, to ensure data security. Blackbox testing results, conducted after the system was hosted, indicate that all functional features operate as intended. The implementation of SIGAB is expected to optimize the management of delivery orders and invoices at PT GAB.

The purpose of this community service program is to enhance the capacity and independence of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing improved training in business management. The program covers the use of digital technology in the agricultural sector, the implementation of occupational safety and health practices, intellectual property protection, and simple financial record-keeping practices. In Pugeran Village, the activities were carried out using a collaborative approach involving the village government, MSME actors, and university students participating in the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata). A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through observation, interviews, and focus group discussions, complemented by direct mentoring and counseling sessions. The results indicate that MSME actors have begun to understand the importance of maintaining simple financial records, utilizing digital technology to market their products, and becoming more aware of workplace safety as well as legal protection for their businesses. The program also encouraged MSME actors to shift their perspectives and manage their enterprises in a more professional manner. However, the speed of implementation varied depending on differences in age, educational background, and established business habits. Overall, this community service activity contributed to strengthening the capacity of MSMEs and supporting sustainable economic growth in the village

In response to the rapid development of technology in the economic sector, every Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) is required to accelerate its competitive capacity. The Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) plays a role as a form of community engagement aimed at empowering local potential, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Several challenges faced by the cassava chips MSME at the KKN location include low business capacity and competitiveness due to limited branding and minimal utilization of digital marketing technology.The objective of this community service activity is to accelerate the capacity and competitiveness of the cassava chips MSME through digital branding assistance and the utilization of digital marketplaces. The implementation employed observation, socialization, and direct assistance methods to MSME actors, which included the creation and updating of brand identity (logo), registering the business location on Google Maps, and mentoring in the establishment of digital stores on e-commerce platforms. The results of this activity indicate an increase in MSME actors’ understanding of the importance of branding and digital marketing, as well as an expansion of product marketing reach through online channels. This KKN activity has a positive impact on enhancing business capacity and serves as an initial step toward strengthening the sustainable competitiveness of MSMEs.

The rapid growth of the e-commerce sector in Indonesia has significantly increased the use of personal data in digital transactions, which in turn has led to more complex risks of data breaches. This issue reflects a gap between technological advancement and the readiness of adequate data protection systems. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Law Number 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection in addressing data breaches on e-commerce platforms and to identify factors influencing its effectiveness. The research employs a normative legal method with a statutory and literature approach. The findings indicate that although the regulation provides a strong legal foundation, its implementation still faces several challenges, including weak supervision, low compliance among business actors, and limited public awareness in protecting personal data. In addition, technical vulnerabilities and human error are identified as the primary causes of data breaches. The implications of this study highlight the importance of strengthening supervision, improving data security standards by e-commerce platforms, and enhancing public education to establish a more effective and sustainable personal data protection system in Indonesia.

The development of MSMEs in the traditional food sector requires business actors to increase production capacity. MSME Gethuk Lindri Niki Eco plans to build a larger facility to meet increasing demand. However, the layout planning is still based on rough drawings and experience, which can lead to inefficient material movement. This study aims to provide an overview of recommendations for a more efficient production facility layout using the CRAFT method. The research method involves collecting data on production processes, departmental areas, and material movement frequency. Moreover, an Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) is compiled to identify the close relationships among departments. The results of the analysis are visualized with a Block Plan. Furthermore, the layout is optimized using the CRAFT method. The results show that the recommended layout reduces the total material movement distance from 60.96 meters to 58.19 meters or a reduction of 4.53%. In addition, material handling costs also decreased from Rp. 780.64 to Rp. 766.19 or a savings of 1.85%. Thus, the application of the CRAFT method resulted in a more efficient production layout at the Gethuk Lindri Niki Eco MSME.

Presidential Regulation Number 10 of 2021 on Investment Business Fields introduces a fundamental transformation in Indonesia’s investment regulatory regime by replacing the previous negative list approach with a positive list system. This regulatory shift significantly affects the structure of investment liberalization, particularly in the industrial sector, which serves as the backbone of the national economy. This study aims to analyze the regulatory changes introduced by Presidential Regulation 10/2021 and examine their juridical and practical implications for the investment climate and industrial business actors. Using a normative juridical method through the analysis of legislation, policy documents, and academic literature, this research finds that the regulation enhances investment openness, expands foreign ownership, simplifies risk-based licensing, and strengthens legal certainty through the classification of priority business fields, mandatory partnerships with cooperatives/MSMEs, and conditioned business categories. However, its implementation still faces challenges, including the harmonization of sectoral regulations, regulatory–political dynamics, and the government’s supervisory capacity. Overall, Presidential Regulation 10/2021 has the potential to strengthen the attractiveness of the industrial sector and its integration into global value chains, yet its effectiveness strongly depends on consistent implementation and cross-sector policy alignment.   Keywords: Presidential Regulation 10/2021, investment regulation, investment liberalization, industrial sector, investment policy.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy but face significant challenges in maintaining consistent and sustainable performance amidst changing market dynamics. This study aims to explore how self-efficacy and entrepreneurial motivation influence MSME performance in Malang City using an exploratory phenomenological qualitative approach. Twelve informants with at least two years of business experience and active operations were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, analyzed using an inductive approach, and processed until data saturation was reached. The study found that MSME actors' self-efficacy is shaped by accumulated real experiences, including both successes and failures, which contribute to meaningful learning. Entrepreneurial motivation rooted in personal values was found to be stronger and more enduring than extrinsic motivation. The study identified a cyclical interaction between self-efficacy and motivation, reinforcing each other in fostering adaptive entrepreneurial behavior. Additionally, external factors such as family support, entrepreneurial communities, and government programs play a significant role in sustaining these psychological factors. This research contributes to entrepreneurship literature and offers practical recommendations for stakeholders to design more holistic MSME empowerment programs with tangible impact.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in promoting economic growth and improving community welfare, particularly at the regional level. In Nagekeo Regency, the ikat weaving craft sector represents an important local economic potential that also carries significant cultural value. However, weaving entrepreneurs still face several challenges, including limited business capital, restricted market access, and low utilization of digital technology for product marketing. This study aims to analyze the role of the Department of Cooperatives, Industry, and Trade of Nagekeo Regency in empowering MSME actors, particularly ikat weaving groups. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The study involved 18 informants consisting of local government officials, MSME actors, and institutional partners selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the department performs facilitative, educative, and technical roles in empowering weaving groups through production training, digital marketing assistance, provision of business facilities, and technical guidance on product innovation. These programs contribute to improving weavers’ skills, product quality, and market opportunities, although their implementation still faces limitations related to budget constraints and uneven program coverage.

The revocation of business licenses by the President of the Republic of Indonesia against 28 companies proven to have violated forest utilization regulations signifies a shift in environmental law enforcement from a predominantly punitive criminal approach to preventive administrative measures. This article aims to analyze the legal basis of the President’s authority to revoke business licenses related to natural resource utilization, to position license revocation as an instrument of environmental law enforcement within Indonesia’s legal system, and to assess its implications for environmental protection and legal certainty for business actors. This study employs a normative juridical research method using statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that Presidential license revocation possesses juridical legitimacy within the framework of the rule of law and environmental and forestry legislation. Nevertheless, the implementation of such a policy requires clear administrative procedural standards to ensure legal certainty and to prevent potential abuse of power. This article concludes that license revocation can function as an effective environmental law enforcement instrument provided that it is accompanied by adequate oversight mechanisms and due process of law.

Public space revitalization is an important strategy in urban development aimed at improving the quality of urban environments while stimulating social interaction and local economic activities. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Motang Rua Field revitalization program in Manggarai Regency and assess the extent to which the program achieved its intended development objectives. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with key informants including local government officials, project contractors, small business actors, and community members, as well as documentation related to the revitalization program. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The findings indicate that the revitalization program demonstrates a high level of relevance to community needs and aligns with the regional development vision of Ruteng Kota Molas. The implementation process shows strong coherence through effective inter-institutional coordination and consistency between planning and execution. The revitalization has also proven effective in improving public facilities, enhancing community social activities, and stimulating local economic growth through increased micro and small business activities. Furthermore, the program was implemented efficiently in terms of budget management and project timeline. The revitalization also contributes to strengthening socio-cultural values through the preservation of the historical figure Motang Rua and shows strong sustainability potential through increased public utilization of the revitalized space.

High dependence on the United States Dollar (USD) in international transactions has long been a challenge for economic stability in the Southeast Asian region, especially amidst global exchange rate fluctuations and geopolitical tensions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Local Currency Settlement (LCS) cooperation in supporting intra-ASEAN trade stability. The main focus of this study is how local currency mechanisms can mitigate exchange rate risks and strengthen regional economic integration as part of a de-dollarization strategy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach, relying on secondary data from central bank reports, ASEAN policy documents, and relevant academic literature. The results show that the implementation of the LCS framework, particularly in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, has provided more efficient transaction alternatives by reducing double conversion costs. However, its effectiveness still faces challenges such as low awareness among business actors, limited local currency liquidity compared to the USD, and the need for broader cross-border digital payment system integration. These findings imply the need for strengthened synergy between central banks in the ASEAN region and increased literacy for the private sector so that the economic stability benefits of LCS can be optimally achieved. This strategy not only strengthens monetary sovereignty but also encourages a more resilient ASEAN economic integration against external shocks.

The rapid development of the digital ecosystem has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ambon City to adopt online platform-based marketing strategies in response to changing consumer behavior that is increasingly digitally connected. This research focuses on MSME consumers in Ambon City who actively interact with local business products through digital platforms. The main problems identified include low digital marketing adoption by local MSME actors, limited empirical studies on Eastern Indonesia context, and the absence of an integrative analytical model that simultaneously tests three dimensions of digital marketing. This research aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing strategies encompassing social media marketing, paid digital advertising, and content marketing on consumer purchasing decisions of MSMEs in Ambon City. This study employs a quantitative approach with a survey design involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling, and data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis after passing classical assumption tests covering normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Results show that social media marketing has a significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.387, paid digital advertising with a coefficient of 0.312, and content marketing with a coefficient of 0.274, all significant at the 0.05 level. Simultaneously, the three variables explain 67.1% of variation in consumer purchasing decisions with an F-count of 65.847. Social media marketing is proven as the most dominant dimension shaping consumer purchasing decisions of MSMEs in Ambon City.
