This study aims to analyze the effect of Key Performance Indicator (KPI)-based performance appraisal system, leadership style, and work motivation on employee productivity. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously, the implementation of KPI, leadership style, and work motivation have a significant effect on employee productivity. Partially, the implementation of KPI and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, indicating that an effective KPI system and good leadership can improve individual performance. However, the results of the study also show that work motivation does not have a significant effect on employee productivity, indicating that there are other factors that may play a greater role in improving productivity. The implication of this study is that organizations need to focus more on optimizing the KPI system and developing a leadership style that can support the achievement of employee productivity.

Metabolic syndrome is a symptom of metabolic disorders suffered in conditions of prosperity, if you are obese (overweight) accompanied by hypertension and increased blood sugar levels as well as hypercholesterolemia and increased uric acid. PT Tirta Investama employees with increased welfare from 450 employees through medical check-ups at Siloam Hospital as a referral hospital, 200 of them experienced symptoms of hypertension and obesity. Of the 200 people, due to company policy, HRD decided to take 100 people. It is on this basis that community service is carried out which aims to provide knowledge about how to treat metabolic syndrome, carry out blood pressure checks, examine abdominal circumference and provide Tapping educational services. Tapping is a holistic, complementary nursing action to reduce emotions and stress. Complementary acupressure nursing services are also provided. The method of activity carried out is blood pressure screening, measuring body weight, height and measuring abdominal circumference. Then Tapping education is carried out and the application practice is carried out step by step until the participants can actually carry it out independently. After 2 weeks of activity, 100 participants were evaluated by repeating the Tapping procedure independently. The community service participants were able to do it correctly, and said that the symptoms of headaches, ringing in the ears had decreased and they felt calmer and emotionally stable, and awareness emerged to change their lifestyle to be healthy. So that community service activities are still needed by employees, the follow-up from this community service is explained to employees who have participated in this activity to be able to pass on knowledge about Tapping to other employees and this activity is carried out independently as well as for their families.

The goal of democratic reform is to build an efficient and effective government management structure. Good governance, reflected from top to bottom, is demonstrated through the efficiency of civil servants in a country. This research focuses on the Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) of Batam City, as its performance reports reveal issues in evaluating employee performance. While BKD Batam has adhered to Government Regulation No. 46 of 2011 on Employee Performance Appraisal in the Execution of Official Duties, the current evaluation method is not effectively implemented. This regulation is expected to contribute positively by assisting government agencies in assessing the performance of their employees. The study combines qualitative methodology with a descriptive field research approach and inductive theoretical perspective. The aim is to describe and analyze the effectiveness of performance appraisal at BKD Batam, along with identifying the factors that hinder effective evaluation. Using interactive data analysis techniques, the findings conclude that BKD Batam's current performance evaluation system is ineffective due to its lack of integration with established standards and performance indicators. The key factors hindering effective performance evaluation include: 1) the subjective nature of the current evaluation; 2) the improper placement of civil servants in positions not aligned with their educational background; 3) the lack of strong understanding regarding the importance of performance evaluation among both evaluators and those being evaluated; and 4) a decline in supervision during the performance evaluation process.

In order to create an orderly society in terms of population administration and ensure the sustainability of national population data, the government is responsible for providing complete and clear population data. It is expected that government officials across Indonesia, particularly in Batam City, deliver high-quality public services in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and public expectations. However, there are still areas for improvement in public services, especially in Batam. This research aims to critically analyze the quality of e-KTP services at the Sei Beduk sub-district in Batam City, focusing on the infrastructure and procedural challenges that impact service delivery. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this study. Data was collected, reduced to relevant findings, and presented narratively. The results indicate that the service quality in the Sei Beduk sub-district is generally good, with services facilitating e-KTP issuance. However, the process is often delayed due to issues such as the absence of stamps from the central office. Employee discipline is another challenge, as some staff members still fail to adhere to working hours. Additionally, the sub-district office is equipped with only one recording device, which significantly hampers the efficiency and quality of the service. These infrastructural and procedural challenges must be addressed to improve the overall quality of e-KTP services in the region.

This research delves into strategies aimed at enhancing occupational safety and health practices within pilotage operations at Semayang Port, operated by PT. Pelindo Balikpapan. Given the inherently high-risk nature of port activities, particularly pilotage, ensuring the safety and well-being of workers is paramount. This research is motivated by the imperative to curtail workplace incidents and bolster operational efficiency through the implementation of robust strategies. A SWOT analysis was employed to comprehensively assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats inherent in the port's existing occupational safety and health system. The findings of this analysis revealed that a 'Turn Around' strategy, situated in Quadrant II of the SWOT matrix, presents the most viable course of action. This strategy effectively leverages external opportunities to mitigate internal weaknesses, thereby optimizing the overall safety and health posture. By adopting the 'Turn Around' strategy, PT. Pelindo Balikpapan is poised to elevate the standards of occupational safety and health within its pilotage operations at Semayang Port. The rapid growth of healthcare services has significantly increased the generation of medical waste, posing serious risks to environmental and public health, particularly through water quality contamination. This study examines global trends in medical waste management and proposes a hybrid analytical framework combining bibliometric analysis using SCIMAT and predictive modeling based on artificial neural networks implemented in Orange. Bibliometric mapping was employed to identify dominant research themes, temporal evolution, and knowledge gaps in medical waste and water contamination studies from 2000 to 2023. Subsequently, a neural network model was developed to predict potential water quality deterioration associated with mismanaged medical waste, using simulated environmental indicators. The results reveal a strong research focus on incineration, infection control, and hazardous waste, while predictive modeling of water contamination remains underexplored. The proposed hybrid approach demonstrates high predictive accuracy and offers a robust decision-support tool for environmental health policy. This study contributes methodologically and substantively to sustainable medical waste management and water resource protection.
