CV. Rasyid is a business unit specializing in the production of ecoprints. Currently, one of the most sought-after clothing colors by consumers is burnt coral red. However, CV. Rasyid has been unable to meet this demand due to challenges in the production process, specifically the deterioration of the color during the fixation stage. To address this issue, the community service team from the Industrial Engineering Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Gombong (Unimugo) provided facilitation and support. The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to produce burnt coral red for ecoprints using secang dye. The activities include preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The implementation process was conducted with guidance on color extraction, mordanting, design printing, and fixation. Monitoring results indicate that CV. Rasyid successfully carried out the burnt coral red ecoprint production process independently without significant issues. While the colors produced may vary slightly, this is not a concern, as such variations are a unique characteristic of ecoprint products.

This study aims to analyze the impact of globalization on economic development in developing countries, focusing on both its positive and negative effects. Globalization has accelerated the integration of the global economy, enabling developing countries to access global markets, advanced technologies, and foreign direct investment (FDI). On the other hand, globalization also presents challenges such as economic inequality, dependency on developed nations, and resource exploitation. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this study explores various data and literature from scientific journals, international organization reports, and related publications. The findings reveal that globalization significantly contributes to economic growth in developing countries through increased international trade, technology transfer, and job creation. However, these effects are not evenly distributed across sectors and social groups, leading to income disparities and uneven development. Furthermore, globalization pressures often push developing countries to adopt economic policies that are less supportive of local sectors, reducing domestic economic competitiveness. This study recommends the importance of balanced and sustainable development-oriented policies to maximize the benefits of globalization while minimizing its adverse impacts. Thus, developing countries can optimize globalization’s potential as a tool for inclusive and sustainable economic development.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) have become the leading cause of death in Indonesia, particularly among young adults, with an increasing incidence rate. Technological advancements, lifestyle changes, and environmental factors have contributed to the rising prevalence of NCDs, especially among the younger generation. This community service activity was conducted on December 20 and 21, 2024, with the aim of raising awareness among young adults in West Jakarta about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle through health screenings and the promotion of an active lifestyle, including education on nutrition status, physical activity, quality sleep, and the dangers of smoking, especially the use of e-cigarettes. The results of the activity showed that the majority of participants experienced sleep difficulties, and most did not smoke, although some used e-cigarettes. The results of nutrition status measurements also indicated that most participants fell into the obese category. Participants' physical activity levels were relatively low, with many engaging in less than 30 minutes of exercise per session and struggling to find time for regular physical activity.
