Language development in preschool children is an important aspect in supporting children's cognitive, social, and emotional abilities in the future. One environmental factor that is thought to contribute to speech delay is excessive use of gadgets at an early age. This study aims to analyze the effect of gadget use on speech delay in children aged 3–5 years at the Tungoi Community Health Center. This study uses an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 50 children aged 3–5 years who met the inclusion criteria, using consecutive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire on gadget use filled out by parents and a screening of children's speech development. Data analysis was performed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that most children used gadgets for more than one hour per day (70%) and more than half of the respondents experienced speech delay (56%). The Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between gadget use and the occurrence of speech delay (p = 0.000). Children with longer gadget use had a greater risk of speech development delay compared to children with more limited gadget use. The conclusion of this study indicates that gadget use is a significant risk factor for speech delay in children aged 3–5 years. Therefore, it is necessary to limit the duration of gadget use and increase the role of parents and health workers in providing optimal verbal stimulation and assistance to support children's language development.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The high risk of dengue transmission is greatly influenced by the density of mosquito larvae which correlates with environmental conditions and community behavior. This study aims to describe the density level of Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae in the working area of the Gandus Health Center in Palembang City in 2025 through the measurement of House Index (HI), Container Index (CI), Breteau Index (BI), Larvae-Free Numbers (ABJ), and Density Figure (DF). The method used was descriptive observational with a purposive proportional random sampling technique on 100 households in three RTs. Data was collected through direct observation using checklist sheets. The results showed that the HI was 66%, CI was 44%, BI was 107%, and ABJ was only 34%, which indicates that the larval density is very high and far below the WHO standard (≥ 95%). The DF value is in the range of 7–9, reinforcing the finding of high vector density. This condition shows that the area is at high risk of dengue transmission. Interventions are needed in the form of regular mosquito nest eradication (PSN), increasing public education, and strengthening the role of jumantic cadres in sustainable vector control.

Family businesses are a crucial pillar of the economy, contributing significantly to job creation and economic growth. However, the sustainability of family businesses often faces challenges, particularly during the succession process, when the next generation is prepared to take over leadership. The primary issue that arises is how the heir prepares to continue the family business, considering that this process involves not only technical skills but also psychological aspects and social learning. Therefore, this study focuses on the life experiences of a family business heir in developing readiness through social interactions and learning processes within the family environment. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Subjects were selected through purposive sampling, with the criterion of having undergone a business learning process for more than ten years within the family environment. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, allowing researchers to explore the heir's subjective experiences in detail. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study identified five main themes influencing the heir's readiness. First, the role of the father as the primary mentor in instilling values, work ethic, and business skills. Second, the role of the mother as an emotional supporter and instilling the values of patience and perseverance. Third, the dynamics of the subject's experiences, involving both challenges and successes in the business learning process. Fourth, the process of developing an entrepreneurial mindset, which is formed through early habits. Fifth, the subject's development as a more emotionally, professionally, and socially mature heir. In conclusion, the readiness of a family business heir is formed through a combination of life experiences, social learning within the family, and the role of parents as role models.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a systematic effort aimed at protecting workers from the risks of accidents and work-related diseases. The implementation of OHS integrated with risk management helps identify, evaluate, and control potential hazards effectively in the workplace. This study was conducted at PT. Sarana Sampit Mentaya Utama, Balikpapan Branch, a company engaged in asphalt production. The main objectives of this research were to identify potential hazards, determine appropriate control measures, and evaluate the role of the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method in supporting OHS. The research method used is JSA, which involves identifying each work step, determining the likelihood and severity of risks, and calculating the risk rating to assess the level of risk. The results showed that there are three potential hazards with a medium-risk category, namely in the activities of raw material mixing, quality control, and asphalt distribution. Additionally, three potential hazards with a low-risk category were found in the processes of raw material weighing, raw material transfer, and pump line valve opening. Recommended control measures to reduce risks include the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each task, improving work facilities and infrastructure, and implementing proper load lifting procedures. The application of JSA has proven effective in raising the company's awareness of potential risks in the workplace. This has led to the implementation of better preventive measures, ultimately contributing to the creation of a safer, healthier, and more productive work environment. Therefore, the integration of OHS with risk management at PT. Sarana Sampit Mentaya Utama plays a significant role in safeguarding the safety and well-being of workers.

The Terminal Loading Area (TLA) API at PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam functions as a facility for processing oily water before being discharged into the environment. One of the main issues faced is the accumulation of thick floc (oil clumps) due to high emulsions in crude oil, along with the malfunctioning water spray valve on line 1, causing operators to resort to manual spraying using hydrant water. This increases the risk of exposure to hazardous chemicals such as Benzene, Toluene, and Xylene (BTX), which poses a health threat to workers. Therefore, improvements to the water spray system are needed to reduce BTX exposure and enhance the effectiveness of oil-water separation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of proposed improvements to the water spray system to reduce BTX exposure and improve the efficiency of oil-water separation. The methodology used includes literature review, field study, and technical testing. Proposed solutions include replacing or repairing the damaged water spray valve, adding piping networks to compartment 2 to distribute water more evenly, and using treated water (produced water) to optimize the system and reduce reliance on hydrant water. The results of the study indicate that replacing or repairing the water spray valve, adding piping networks, and using produced water effectively reduce BTX exposure while maintaining oil recovery effectiveness. The trials also showed that using the Oil Pump (P-3230 & P-3235) provides optimal pressure (8–9 barg) for water spray, compared to the less effective Water Pump (P-3200 & P-3205). Implementing these solutions is expected to reduce BTX exposure for workers, improve oil-water separation efficiency, and contribute to a safer and more efficient working environment.

This study was conducted to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work morale on employee performance at company X, both partially and simultaneously. The study used a quantitative approach with a causal associative design aimed at testing the cause-and-effect relationship between variables. The study population consisted of 37 permanent employees who were also sampled using a total sampling technique, so that the entire population was represented in the study. The main instrument for data collection was a questionnaire using a Likert scale, which allows respondents to provide measurable answers. The collected data were analyzed through multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS program version 26 to test the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results showed that the transformational leadership variable obtained an average score of 3.86 which is included in the good category, the work morale variable had an average score of 4.08 also in the good category, and the employee performance variable obtained an average score of 4.17 which is in the good category. Partial regression analysis revealed that transformational leadership has a significant influence on employee performance with a contribution of 40%. Meanwhile, work morale also has a significant influence, although its contribution is smaller at 10%. Simultaneously, both independent variables, transformational leadership and work morale, significantly influenced employee performance, with a combined contribution of 41%. This finding indicates that a transformational leadership style implemented by leaders and high employee work morale can significantly improve performance. However, 59% of other factors outside this study also influence employee performance, such as organizational culture, reward systems, work environment, and intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of implementing transformational leadership and company efforts to improve employee work morale to achieve optimal performance.

This study aims to examine the impact of work environment (X1), work motivation (X2), and job satisfaction (X3) on teacher performance (Y) at SMP Negeri 3 in South Tangerang City. The study employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, and data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 40 teachers. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software version 27 to test the impact of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results indicate that the work environment significantly affects teacher performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.534, meaning that the better the work environment, the higher the teacher's performance. Meanwhile, work motivation (X2) does not have a significant effect on teacher performance, with a low coefficient of 0.184, suggesting that motivation is not the main factor influencing teacher performance at SMP Negeri 3 in South Tangerang City. In contrast, job satisfaction (X3) has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance, with a coefficient of 0.559, indicating that higher job satisfaction leads to better performance. The regression equation obtained is Y = -12.759 + 0.534 X1 + 0.184 X2 + 0.559 X3, which reflects the influence of each factor on teacher performance. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the work environment and job satisfaction are important factors in improving teacher performance, while work motivation does not have a significant impact. Therefore, the school administration should focus more on improving the work environment and enhancing teacher job satisfaction to encourage better performance. This study provides recommendations for school managers to address these two factors in efforts to improve teacher performance.
