Qira'at is a field that studies how to fulfill the sentences of the Koran and the differences based on a person's origin. While a Muqri' is a person who is skilled in qiroat by narrating it by speaking, a person who is an expert in qiroat and has memorized the Qur'an should not be called a Muqri' if he does not speak sequentially about these matters. However, novice readers, also referred to as al-Qari' al-Mubtadi', are people who can explain one to three of the existing qira'at. Apart from that, the seven letters that comprise the Arabic language are Quraish, Huzail, Saqif, Hawazin, Kinanah, Tamim, and Yemen, each of which contains the meaning of the Al-Qur'an. Umar, Abu Bakr, and the Prophet Muhammad read these seven letters. After that, when Mushab Usman was created, the reading of the Koran only consisted of one letter, namely the Quraysh language. According to Ustam, reading the Qur'an with seven letters was only to eliminate the hardships and hardships that existed in the early days, and the need for it has disappeared. By aggregating and homogenizing the population around one letter or one language, the motivation is strong to eliminate elements that differentiate reading. Usman's friends did not agree with this policy. With this agreement, Ijma' occurred, and Usman had carried out great wisdom by publishing the Usmani Al-Qur'an, which united and reassured the people.

Indonesia is a country with diverse cultures, and these cultures need to be preserved, one way being through Law No. 11 of 2010 on Cultural Heritage. The traditional village of Cikondang in West Java has been designated as cultural heritage, which has a significant impact on the preservation of its customary forest. This study aims to analyze the impact of this designation on the conservation of the Customary Forest. Using a qualitative method, the research was conducted through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results show that the designation as cultural heritage strengthens the protection, management, and preservation of the customary forest, which serves as a water reservoir, a habitat for flora and fauna, as well as a center for education and research. Strict customary regulations, such as restrictions on entering the forest on certain days and the use of resources only for customary purposes, help maintain the sustainability of the ecosystem. The designation as cultural heritage also boosts tourism and the economic well-being of the local community. Thus, the preservation of the customary forest in the traditional village of Cikondang is not only rooted in local wisdom but also reinforced by national legal policies, which overall support the sustainability of the ecosystem and the welfare of the local community.   ,

This research aims to analyze and document the barikan tradition in Kebonadem Village as a form of preserving local wisdom which has social, spiritual and educational values. The problem faced is the decreasing interest of the younger generation in preserving this tradition amidst the strong current of modernization. This raises concerns that this tradition, which has been passed down from generation to generation, will be eroded by more popular foreign culture. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of understanding and maintaining the values contained in the Barikan tradition so that it remains relevant and can be passed on to future generations. The research results show that the Barikan tradition not only functions as an annual ritual, but also as a tool to strengthen social ties and deepen people's faith, especially in teaching children the values of togetherness, mutual help and respect for tradition. Wisdom regulations arise due to the needs of the society that continue to develop, requiring the government to take a quick legal action, even overriding the principle of legality or also known as wetmatigheid van bestuur. Because the ruler has extraordinary authority, administrative law functions to provide legal protection for the people for the actions of the ruler by filing a lawsuit to the court. Legal protection for the people from government legal actions is a juridical means in the state of law to prevent or recover losses experienced by the people as a result of legal acts of the government that cause losses to the people.

This research examines the opportunities and challenges in the development of Buddhist traditions in Indonesia, with a specific focus on the role of Tri Dharma (三教 Sam Kauw) as a tradition-strengthening element in fortifying Buddhism in Singkawang City, West Kalimantan. The research is grounded in the dynamic development of Buddhism in Indonesia, which has been influenced by modernity and diverse interpretations of teachings. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method through observation, interviews, and document analysis with religious leaders and Buddhist adherents in Singkawang City, particularly at the historic Vihara Tri Dharma Bumi Raya (established 1873-1878), the findings reveal that the Tri Dharma tradition—integrating Buddhism (佛教), Confucianism (儒教), and Taoism (道教)—holds significant potential in strengthening religious identity and practices through values of wisdom, virtue, and harmony integrated into daily life. The research identifies key opportunities including strong cultural identity, vibrant ritual traditions (Cap Go Meh festival, Tatung rituals), community support structures, and religious tourism potential. However, challenges include limited deep understanding of Tri Dharma teachings among younger generations, influences of popular culture that erode traditional values, pressures of globalization, and modernization impacts. The research implications emphasize the necessity of systematic efforts in socializing and internalizing Tri Dharma teachings through formal and non-formal education, digital media engagement, youth involvement in Vihara activities, tradition documentation and preservation, and inter-Vihara collaboration to ensure Buddhist traditions continue to develop and strengthen their existence in Indonesia's pluralistic society.
