The research that has been conducted is entitled "Development of Adventure Comic Media to Improve Fantasy Story Writing Skills of Class VII MTs Negeri 2 Medan", the background of this research is the low writing ability of students, which is caused by difficulties in developing ideas and the use of conventional learning methods. This problem encouraged researchers to develop learning media in the form of comics as an innovative alternative to support more interesting and effective learning. This research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, observations, tests, and documentation, and involved a validation process by material experts, media experts, and linguists. Furthermore, trials were conducted on students of class VII-G as an experimental class. The results of the study showed that the developed adventure comic media was classified as very feasible, practical, and effective. The validation results by three experts showed that the media expert gave a score of 95% (after revision), the material expert 98.33%, and the linguist 88%. In addition, user responses to the media were also very positive. Students in class VII-G gave an assessment of 94,52%, while the teacher gave an assessment of 97.14%. All assessment results are included in the very practical category. In terms of effectiveness, pretest and posttest tests were conducted to measure the improvement of students' writing skills. The results of the effectiveness trial were analyzed using the N-Gain value. In class VII-F (control class), the N-Gain score was 48.66%, while in class VII-G (experimental class) it was 68.35% with a fairly effective category. These results indicate that adventure comic media is quite effective in improving students' fantasy story writing skills. Thus, adventure comic media can be used as an alternative learning media that is interesting, easy to understand, and able to increase students' motivation and writing skills, especially in fantasy story text material.

This research aims to analyze the branding strategy implemented by the Public Relations (PR) division of the Museum of Islamic Indonesia K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari (MINHA) in developing the identity of Indonesian Islam. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis applies Sicco Van Gelder’s brand strategy theory, which consists of three main dimensions: brand positioning, brand identity, and brand personality. The findings indicate that MINHA’s PR strategically and consistently implements branding through three key aspects: organizing public events, utilizing social media, and incorporating architectural design to reinforce the identity of Indonesian Islam. These strategies have successfully shaped the museum’s image as inclusive, educational, and youth-friendly, presenting a moderate and tolerant face of Indonesian Islam. The role of PR extends beyond promotion to become a driving force in conveying the narrative of Indonesian Islam through adaptive communication approaches. This study recommends optimizing additional digital platforms and developing an official website to further strengthen the museum’s branding on a broader scale.

This study aims to identify internal and external factors influencing the development of the Arunika Wedding Organizer business in Padang City and formulate appropriate strategies through a SWOT analysis approach. The research method was conducted qualitatively, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with five informants, consisting of business owners, employees, and vendors who collaborate with Arunika. The data obtained was then analyzed to map the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the company. The results show that the main strengths of Arunika Wedding Organizer lie in responsive service to client needs, solid team coordination, and good working relationships with supporting vendors. These factors are important capital in maintaining consumer trust. However, the study also found weaknesses such as a limited number of part-time teams that can hinder operational flexibility, and suboptimal digital promotions that limit market reach. From the external side, opportunities that can be utilized include the increasing trend of more personal and simple intimate weddings, and the high demand for one-stop services, where all wedding needs can be accommodated by a single service provider. Meanwhile, the threats faced stem from intense price competition with similar service providers and relatively rapid changes in wedding trends, requiring the company to be constantly adaptive. Based on the SWOT matrix analysis, Arunika Wedding Organizer falls into quadrant IV (hold and maintain). Therefore, the recommended strategy is to maintain existing strengths while addressing existing weaknesses, particularly in human resources and digital promotion.

This study examines the empowerment of civil servants and its contribution to improving the quality of public services in Southwest Papua Province, with particular focus on the Human Resources Development Personnel Agency (BKPSDM: Badan Kepegawaian Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia). The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to capture and analyze empowerment practices as well as their supporting and inhibiting factors. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, involving key informants such as the Head of BKPSDM and relevant staff members. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which consists of three stages: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings reveal that empowerment practices at BKPSDM encompass structured recruitment policies for both Indigenous Papuans (OAP) and non-OAPs, systematic career development, provision of education and training programs, and implementation of fair compensation mechanisms. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing civil servants’ competencies, professionalism, motivation, and accountability, ultimately contributing to better service delivery to the public. Supporting factors identified include the existence of strong regulatory frameworks, leadership commitment, competency-based training opportunities, high internal motivation, and the establishment of a collaborative work culture. On the other hand, several inhibiting factors persist, such as limited and unequal access to training, inadequate infrastructure, frequent changes in regulations, discriminatory practices, and low levels of digital literacy among some employees. The study concludes that civil servant empowerment represents a strategic pathway to building a professional, accountable, and responsive state apparatus capable of delivering high-quality public services. To strengthen these efforts, recommendations highlight the importance of expanding training access, improving digital skills, ensuring infrastructure readiness, and maintaining inclusive and transparent policies. By addressing these challenges, civil servant empowerment can be optimized to achieve sustainable improvements in public service performance across Southwest Papua Province.

The low reading interest and literacy skills of elementary school children in Indonesia remain a problem that requires creative and sustainable solutions. Factors such as limited access to quality books, a lack of reading habits at home, and uninteresting learning approaches are often the causes of a weak literacy culture among students. To address this problem, the Student Community Service Program (KKN) of Sebelas Maret University students in Singodutan Village implemented an activity aimed at fostering a culture of literacy in children through a Reading Book Content-Based Project at SDN 3 Krisak. The concept of this activity integrates reading activities with the creation of creative projects that are appropriate to the content of the reading, so that students not only understand the text but are also able to process the information into real products. This study used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type to understand students' experiences during the activity. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature review, which were then analyzed descriptively. Activities included selecting reading books appropriate to students' ability levels, shared reading, discussions about the reading content, and the creation of creative projects such as posters, picture stories, or artwork inspired by the reading material. The results of the activity showed an increase in student participation in reading activities, an increase in interest in books, and an improvement in their ability to process information into creative works. Furthermore, students demonstrated greater self-confidence when presenting their work to their classmates.

This study aims to determine the effect of career development and organizational culture on employee performance at the Bima City Social Service. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. The sample in this study was 35 people who were civil servants. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, and data analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, and f-tests. The results of the study indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, career development and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate the importance of training, fair career opportunities, and an open and collaborative work culture in improving employee performance. Therefore, the Bima City Social Service is advised to continue improving career development and strengthening an organizational culture that supports performance. In addition, this study also highlights the importance of management's role in creating an environment that supports career development and a positive organizational culture. Likewise, an inclusive and collaborative organizational culture can increase mutual trust, effective communication, and cooperation among employees, thus creating a work environment conducive to improved performance. The research concludes that these two factors—career development and organizational culture—interact to optimize employee performance. Therefore, the Bima City Social Service needs to continue developing policies that support both aspects, such as regular training, fair promotion programs, and the development of a work culture that emphasizes collaboration and appreciation for employee performance.

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of product development, service quality, and pricing on sales volume at PT Indoqurma Sejahtera, East Jakarta. The background of this study is based on increasingly fierce business competition, especially in the trading industry, so companies need to identify factors that influence sales volume. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires to 50 employees directly involved in marketing and sales activities, using a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability before use. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression using SPSS software version 19, which includes the classical assumption test, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that the variables of product development and service quality do not have a significant influence on sales volume. This indicates that the company's product development efforts have not been fully able to increase market appeal or have not been in accordance with consumer needs. Similarly, the implemented improvements in service quality have not had a significant impact on increasing sales volume. In contrast, pricing has been shown to have a significant influence on sales volume. These findings indicate that consumers in PT Indoqurma Sejahtera's target market are highly price-sensitive, thus a competitive pricing strategy can be a key factor in driving sales. Based on these results, managerial implications include the need to reevaluate product development strategies and improve service quality to be more relevant to consumer needs and preferences. Furthermore, the company is advised to maintain and optimize its competitive pricing strategy to increase competitiveness and expand market share.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

Pesantren, as an Islamic educational institution that has long been a center of religious learning and character development, has great potential in advancing entrepreneurship based on local wisdom. The role of pesantren is not only limited to teaching religious studies, but also includes coaching students to have economic independence and competitiveness in the midst of the Times. Local wisdom that grows around pesantren can be an important capital in developing businesses that are relevant to the needs of the community. However, optimizing the function of pesantren in producing students who are independent and able to compete still faces various challenges. One of the main obstacles is the development of Human Resources (HR) which is not only oriented to mastering the theory, but also on practical skills and understanding of local values. Without the right strategy, such great potential is difficult to realize sustainably. This study aims to explore strategies that can be applied in the development of human resources in order to improve the performance of local wisdom-based entrepreneurship in the boarding school. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies on several boarding schools that have succeeded in forming productive business units by utilizing local potential, such as agriculture, fisheries, crafts, and food product processing. Research findings indicate that several crucial factors in building entrepreneurial human resources in pesantren include: strengthening character and work ethic, hands-on practice-based training in the field, collaboration with local business actors for knowledge transfer and market networking, as well as historical and philosophical understanding of local wisdom values. The success of entrepreneurship development in pesantren depends on the integration of spiritual aspects, practical skills, and knowledge about the potential of the region. Based on the results of the study, an integrated entrepreneurship training model that combines science, faith, and concrete action is recommended. This Model is expected to produce great pesantren entrepreneurs, competitive, and able to adapt and face global challenges without leaving their identity and noble values.

This study aims to analyze the influence of career development and job training on employee performance, with work motivation as an intervening variable, at the Pakan Rabaa Community Health Center in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The background of this study is based on the importance of improving the quality of human resources through career development strategies and targeted job training programs, as well as the role of work motivation as a driving factor for employee performance. The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 66 respondents who are employees of the Pakan Rabaa Community Health Center. The results of the study show several important findings. First, career development has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Second, job training has a positive but insignificant effect on work motivation. Third, career development has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. Fourth, job training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Fifth, work motivation has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. Sixth, career development has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. Seventh, job training also had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable. This finding indicates that although career development and job training have a positive relationship with performance, the effect is not always significant when mediated by work motivation. Other factors beyond work motivation may also influence employee performance at the Pakan Rabaa Community Health Center. This study recommends that management strengthen career development and job training programs relevant to employee needs, while identifying other motivational factors that can further enhance performance.

This research is motivated by the suboptimal strategy of the Pangandaran Regency Tourism and Culture Office in supporting sustainable tourism development. Several problems identified include the lack of optimal management of facilities and infrastructure, such as waste management, and inadequate transportation facilities. Furthermore, tourism promotion has not been carried out in a sustainable and measurable manner, compounded by the absence of a Regional Promotion Agency. Human resources (HR) in the tourism sector also still lack a comprehensive understanding of the concept of sustainable tourism, which is a major challenge in implementing this policy effectively. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategies implemented by the Pangandaran Regency Tourism and Culture Office in developing sustainable tourism. The method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of government elements, communities, and tourism business actors. The results showed that the strategies implemented by the Pangandaran Regency Tourism and Culture Office encompass four dimensions of strategic management: environmental monitoring, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and evaluation and control. However, the strategies that have been implemented have not been optimal. Several efforts have been made, including increased training based on local potential, technology education, the formation of promotional groups, and regular activity evaluations. However, major challenges remain: strengthening coordination between various stakeholders and improving natural resource management and more environmentally friendly supporting facilities. This study illustrates the need for strategic and policy adjustments to optimize sustainable tourism development in Pangandaran Regency, with a focus on increasing understanding and involvement of the community and businesses, as well as optimizing infrastructure and promoting more planned and measurable initiatives.
