This community service aims to improve the understanding of grade 4 students of SDN 173632 Parparean III, Porsea in learning nominal tens in English. There are still many elementary school students who have difficulty in recognizing, pronouncing, and writing tens in English correctly. This problem can hinder the development of their basic English skills, especially in terms of counting and daily conversation. To overcome these problems, this community service activity implements an innovative learning method that combines educational games, visual media, and interactive pronunciation techniques. The goal is to create a fun learning atmosphere and motivate students to actively participate in the learning process. The approach used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with data collection through direct observation, short interviews with class teachers, and oral comprehension tests before and after the intervention. The results of the observation showed a significant increase in students' ability to understand and use tens in English after the method was applied. Thus, this learning method has proven effective and can be used as a reference or alternative strategy in teaching English at the elementary school level, especially for numbers and figures.

Learning motivation is a key factor in students' academic success. This study aims to analyze the effect of intrinsic rewards, extrinsic rewards, and punishments on elementary school students' learning motivation. Using the literature review method, this research examines various literatures related to the application of reward and punishment strategies in education. The results show that appropriately given rewards can enhance both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in students. Intrinsic rewards, such as a sense of achievement and self-pride, encourage students to continue learning and develop independently, while extrinsic rewards, such as praise or gifts, provide external incentives that reinforce student motivation. On the other hand, punishments applied wisely can instill discipline and improve students' learning focus. However, rewards are found to be more effective in increasing student motivation compared to punishments, as rewards create a positive and enjoyable learning environment. Punishments, if overused or applied inappropriately, can negatively affect student motivation and lead to stress or fear. This study also shows that a combination of both approaches—rewards and punishments—when applied in the right balance, can produce optimal results in supporting students' academic development. These findings provide important implications for educators in designing effective learning strategies to enhance students' learning motivation, as well as the importance of a balanced and thoughtful approach to students' needs and characteristics.

Learning boredom is one of the common problems faced by students, especially at the Madrasah Aliyah level. This issue negatively impacts students' motivation and learning outcomes, which in turn can affect the quality of education. This study aims to implement an innovation in learning through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach as an effort to reduce learning boredom among students at MA Zainul Hasan 2 during the 2024-2025 academic year. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study indicate a significant decrease in students' learning boredom levels after the implementation of PBL. The average level of learning boredom decreased from 65% in the first cycle to 45% in the second cycle. This decrease shows that the application of PBL-based learning can have a positive effect in reducing learning boredom and increasing student engagement in the learning process. The PBL-based learning innovation has proven to be effective in creating a more engaging and interactive learning environment, which ultimately can improve students' motivation and enhance their learning outcomes. Thus, this study concludes that the implementation of Problem Based Learning can be an effective solution to overcome learning boredom among Madrasah Aliyah students.

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve enthusiasm for learning Tajwid in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MIS Islamiyah Tanjung Manis through the Jigsaw learning model. The background of this research is the low enthusiasm among students, caused by conventional teaching methods that are less interactive and monotonous. The Jigsaw model was chosen as it encourages active student participation through collaboration in small groups, where each member is responsible for learning and presenting material to their peers. The research was conducted in three cycles, following the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and interviews to measure students' enthusiasm before and after the implementation of the Jigsaw model. The results indicated a significant increase in students' enthusiasm, observed in the participation, enthusiasm, and interaction among students during the learning process. These improvements were seen from the first cycle to the second and third cycles. The findings suggest that the Jigsaw learning model is effective in boosting students’ enthusiasm for learning Tajwid. Therefore, the implementation of this model is recommended as an alternative for interactive and enjoyable learning for students at MIS Islamiyah Tanjung Manis.
