Theory said that higher order thinking skills can be a tool that can help improve student learning achievement. Researchers found there was a difference between theory and facts in the field. Teachers have implemented HOTS in the learning process, but English scores are still low. Therefore, researchers want to know the relationship between students' HOTS and their English achievement. The design of this research is correlational research. Researchers used test instrument to collect students' HOTS scores, and documentation was used to collect students' English scores in their second semester report cards. The population of this research was all seventh grade students, which consist two classes. The sample of this research was class VII A, totaling 24 students. The sampling for this research was cluster sampling. Researchers used Bivariate Pearson Correlation to determine the correlation between the two variables. The results of this research showed that the correlation coefficient between the two variables is 0.471. Then the magnitude of the correlation is sufficient, around 0.40-0.60. Thus, there is a positive correlation between students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and their English achievement in the seventh grade of SMPN 3 Koto Besar.

The province of Lampung in Indonesia continues to face a great deal of poverty. The purpose of this study is to look at how poverty levels in this area are affected by population (X2) and unemployment (X1). Numerous primary and secondary sources of data are gathered, and relevant statistical techniques are applied to the analysis. The analysis's findings demonstrate that unemployment (X1) significantly affects Lampung's poverty level, with rising unemployment rates being correlated with rising poverty levels. Contrary to predictions, however, population size (X2) does not appear to have a meaningful impact on the amount of poverty. This implies that other variables might have a greater influence on how impoverished this area is. These results have significant ramifications for Lampung's development strategy. The main focus of policy should be on initiatives to lower the unemployment rate by increasing job opportunities for the populace and creating jobs through skill-training programs. Other aspects of poverty, such as access to healthcare and education, should also be taken into consideration.

The population in this study as well as the sample were employees at the Selyca Mulia Hotel Samarinda, totaling 61 people. This research is quantitative research with descriptive analysis. The data collection method is using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression techniques using SPSS version 23. The results of the research show that Occupational Safety (X1) and Occupational Health (X2) together (simultaneously) influence employee work productivity (Y). Work Safety (X1) partially has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity (Y) at the Selyca Mulia Hotel Samarinda. Occupational health (X2) partially has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity (Y) at the Selyca Mulia Hotel Samarinda. The results of the regression test show that the correlation coefficient value for the work safety variable is 0.231 or 23.1%, which is positive, meaning that work safety is in the same direction or directly proportional to work productivity and the partial test results show that the t-count value for the work safety variable is t table value with an error level of α ( 0.05) of 5.853 > 2.002 or tcount > ttable. The results of the regression test show that the correlation coefficient value for the occupational health variable is 0.148 or 14.8%, which is positive, meaning that occupational health is in the same direction or directly proportional to work productivity and the results of the partial test show that the t value of the occupational health variable is equal to ttable value with an error level of α ( 0.05) of 3.363 > 2.002 or tcount > ttable.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, monitoring, and employee performance of the effectiveness of credit granting at the banking companies in BUMN Bank. Data collection  methods  are  done  by  survey and questionnaires. The number of respondents in this study was 40 respondents, in distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling technique. Based on the F test used to test whether the regression model used is fit, if the significant value>α = 0.05 then the hypothesis is rejected, which means the regression model is not fit. If the significant value <α = 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted, which means the fit regression model. F test results show a significant value of 0,000 which means less  than  0.05  then  the  hypothesis  is  accepted,  which  means  four  independent variables namely the control environment (X1), information and communication (X4), monitoring (X5), and employee performance (X6) simultaneously have a positive effect and risk assessment (X2), control activities (X3) simultaneously have a negative effect on the dependent variable, namely the effectiveness of credit (Y). From the results of the t test it can be seen that four independent variables namely the control environment (X1), risk assessment (X2), control activities (X3), information and communication (X4), monitoring (X5), and employee performance (X6) have a partially positive and negatuve effect on the dependent variable namely the variable the effectiveness of granting credit (Y) because it has a significantly smaller value of 0.05

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of original local government revenue, general allocation funds, specific allocation funds, and profit sharing funds on economic growth, both directly and through capital expenditure. The quantitative approach was carried out by census of 35 regencies/cities in Central Java, with a research period of 2018-2022, thus as many as 175 data. Direct influence testing uses multiple linear regression, while indirect influence is carried out with a sobel test that has first gone through various classical assumption tests. The results revealed that original local government revenue, and specific allocation funds have a positive and significant effect on capital expenditure, and only have a direct effect on economic growth. General allocation funds have no effect on capital expenditure, but have a direct impact on positive and significant direction on economic growth. Profit sharing funds actually have a negative and significant influence on capital expenditure, but do not affect economic growth. Similarly, capital expenditure also does not have an effect on regional economic growth, thus it is not able to become an intervening variable.
