This research was conducted because the author observed the conditions at the Ciamis Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Revenue Office, which showed that some employees had suboptimal performance even though they already had adequate competence. This low performance is caused by a lack of attention and support from leaders, lack of cooperation between divisions, employee competencies that are still below organizational expectations, and rapid development of information technology that is not balanced by the improvement of knowledge, skills, and work attitudes of employees. As a result, the results of the work produced have not been optimal. Many employees lack discipline in carrying out the rules and work procedures set by the organization, which can also be seen from the untimely attendance and the presence of employees who are absent from their duties. Employee empowerment is also uneven because employees who have the necessary skills are limited, so more work is done by certain employees only. The delegation of work is also often not accompanied by a complete explanation to the recipient, causing the completion of the work to exceed the set time target and the quality of the work is not optimal. The purpose of this research is to study, know, and analyze the influence of the work environment, competence, and empowerment on employee performance. This study uses an explanatory survey method with a quantitative approach, as well as descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis techniques with correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis tools. The results of the study show that the work environment, competence, and empowerment are empirically in high condition, and have a significant influence on employee performance. A good work environment, very high competence, and optimal empowerment have a positive effect on high employee performance.

This study analyzes the influence of payment gateways, financial literacy, and digitalization on the financial performance of MSME actors in Brebes Regency, especially Mitra Mandiri MSMEs. MSMEs have a significant role in Indonesia's economy, but they still face various challenges, especially in the aspects of financial technology and digital literacy. Digitalization also plays a role in improving operational efficiency. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to 51 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed by multiple linear regression to test the relationship between variables. The results of the study show that payment gateways and financial literacy have a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of MSMEs. Payment gateways improve transaction efficiency and expand market access, while financial literacy helps in better financial management. However, digitalization does not have a significant influence on financial performance, showing that the implementation of digital technology still faces obstacles in the adoption and optimal utilization by MSME actors. These findings emphasize the importance of increasing the use of payment gateways and financial literacy education for MSME actors to improve their financial performance.

The rapid transformation of higher education driven by the advancement of digital technologies and the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of online learning platforms across universities worldwide. This study investigates the relationship between the use of online learning platforms, academic performance, and student engagement among university students. Using a cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from students actively participating in online learning environments to analyze how frequency of platform use influences academic outcomes and engagement levels. The results reveal a positive correlation between online learning engagement and academic performance, indicating that students who consistently participate in live sessions, complete assignments, and interact with peers and instructors achieve better academic results. Cognitive and behavioral engagement were found to be the most influential factors contributing to improved learning outcomes, while emotional engagement played a supportive role in maintaining motivation and persistence. Despite these benefits, several challenges were identified, including social isolation, limited face-to-face interaction, and technological barriers that hinder full participation. Comparisons with traditional learning environments highlight that online platforms provide greater flexibility and personalized learning opportunities but lack the immediacy of in-person interaction. Furthermore, differences between local and international contexts underscore the role of infrastructure and institutional readiness in ensuring equitable online learning experiences. The study concludes that effective integration of technology, instructor presence, and collaborative tools can enhance engagement and academic success in digital learning environments. Future research should explore long-term impacts, including the role of gamification and artificial intelligence in sustaining motivation and improving educational outcomes.

The development of information systems is now widely used in the business world, both in the living environment and even in the work environment, such as the use of the attendance information system at PT PLN PERSERO. Attendance in an agency is an important factor in human resource management. The process of recording and reporting employee absences is a repetitive process that is used at certain times such as entry time, departure time and holidays. It is recommended that audits of this system be carried out periodically or annually, so that the expected level of maturity can be achieved, and as a whole, not just the attendance information system, so that all aspects of work operations can also be evaluated so as to improve employee performance in general. This study examines the relationship between self regulated learning (SRL) strategies and academic motivation among students engaged in online language education, with a particular focus on how cultural diversity influences these factors. SRL strategies, such as goal setting, self monitoring, and time management, are crucial for maintaining motivation and improving learning outcomes, especially in online settings that require high levels of student autonomy. The study found a strong positive correlation between intrinsic motivation and the use of SRL strategies. Students who were intrinsically motivated to learn demonstrated better use of SRL strategies, leading to improved academic performance. Furthermore, the study explored how cultural diversity impacted the application of SRL strategies, revealing that students from collectivist cultures often emphasized collaboration and effort, while students from individualistic cultures focused more on autonomy and personal achievement. These cultural differences influenced how students engaged with SRL strategies and maintained their motivation throughout their online language courses. The findings underscore the importance of considering cultural diversity when designing online language education programs. Culturally responsive teaching practices that acknowledge students' cultural backgrounds can enhance motivation, foster better use of SRL strategies, and improve learning outcomes in diverse online classrooms. The study highlights the need for further research that explores the interaction between different cultural groups, expands sample sizes, and investigates other motivational factors, such as self efficacy and achievement goals, to develop more effective and inclusive online language education strategies.
