The increasing ease of internet access has led to its misuse in the form of online gambling. Initially, online games served as the entry point, but curiosity and interest have driven teenagers to participate in online gambling. Kartono (2014) defines gambling as the intentional act of risking something valuable with awareness of the associated risks and specific expectations for uncertain events, such as games, matches, races, and other occurrences. The uncertainty of outcomes generates expectations and tension for gamblers. nawati, Prakoso, and Prihatmi (2015) assert that the development of information and communication technology significantly influences the gambling model and its payment methods. Unlike traditional gambling, which requires face-to-face interactions, physical means, and cash payments, online gambling leverages the internet, enabling games without physical encounters. The rapid evolution of online gambling in recent decades has facilitated easy access to various forms of gambling through the internet. Despite gambling's historical existence, online gambling possesses distinct characteristics that entail specific risks. This journal aims to identify and explore the diverse negative impacts associated with online gambling, while also delving into control measures that can be implemented to address these issues. Employing the qualitative descriptive phenomenology research method, our study will uncover shared meanings of the online gambling phenomenon as experienced by a group of students (Sahputra et al., 2022). The methodology employed here is the literature review method, wherein an independent activity is conducted to collect literature data, engage in reading and note-taking, and process research materials from various sources, such as books, online media, print media, and national and international journals. Online gambling has emerged as a concerning phenomenon globally. This journal examines various aspects related to the hazards of online gambling, encompassing social, economic, and health impacts. Additionally, we discuss control efforts that can be implemented to address these issues, with the ultimate goal of enhancing understanding and promoting more effective actions in addressing this problem. Online gambling presents numerous dangers that can adversely affect individuals and society at large. To tackle this issue, control efforts, including stringent regulations, public education, and rehabilitation programs, are imperative. A comprehensive understanding of the perils of online gambling will enable collaborative efforts to create a safer and healthier environment for everyone. Concrete actions are necessary to shield society from the detrimental impacts of online gambling.

History opens a window to the past to welcome the future, learning history will help to know and understand how the history of the past and also the people associated with these events. Studying history not only aims to know important events or events in the past but also teaches various forms of experience that occur both success and failure. Every human being needs education and knowledge because it is for human development itself. Through education, humans not only get teaching about special skills but also something deeper, namely science. In the world of education through learning, students gain knowledge and learn what is obtained through learning. Each student will pass the evaluation stage. The evaluation is given after students have gone through several learning and understanding processes and then given questions, both essays and multiple choice questions, in order to help the learning process in the classroom. To maximize the use of multiple choice as a learning tool, students can choose it with consideration in the answer choices that have been determined. Teachers give assignments to students to work on multiple choice questions in two ways, the first is to solve multiple choice questions, when given an assignment during class hours to submit it to the teacher when the subject is finished. Alternatively, the teacher can give the students an assignment or homework and collect it during the next meeting. Research shows that teachers prefer the use of multiple choice questions, not only because of administration, time saving and simplicity but also because they are objective and consistent. Furthermore, students based on the results of the study prefer giving multiple choice questions because they can eliminate answer errors and the questions on multiple choice questions are more objective than others. In addition, with the multiple choice question method students can actively participate in the learning process.

Bullying is an aggressive behavior that threatens and intimidates someone, often driven by an individual's sense of superiority. Research indicates that verbal bullying, especially among teenage girls, is associated with factors such as lack of family attention, social pressure, and exposure to violence through social media. The impact of bullying includes mental health disorders, disruptions in interpersonal relationships, and negative influences on education. Children who are victims of bullying face social challenges, fear of attending school, high absenteeism rates, and academic difficulties. The current era's developments have given rise to cyberbullying, resulting in serious implications for mental and physical health, as well as potential dangers to an individual's safety. Despite experiencing negative effects, some bullying victims still achieve satisfactory academic performance, demonstrating resilience. Solutions involve multi-party interventions, with roles for teachers, counselors, students, and parents. Teachers need to manage interactions in the classroom, counselors provide psychological support, and class discussions create an open environment. Parental involvement is crucial in providing support to students experiencing ostracism. The United Islamic Cultural Center of Indonesia (UICCI) or the United Islamic Cultural Center Foundation in Indonesia is an Islamic organization that operates in the social and religious fields. This foundation is an Islamic social and religious institution that produces Al-Quran Hafiz who applies the Al-Quran and Sunnah in everyday life while directing them to do good deeds with their knowledge. The UICCI Foundation is better known as Pondok Pesantren Syarief Medan which is a branch of the IFA (International Fratenity Association) or international fraternity foundation in Turkey. The history of the founding of the Central UICCI Foundation in Turkey or the Sulaimaniyah Institute began after the fall of the Ottoman Caliphate in 1924, the Turkish regime under the leadership of the nationalist figure Mustofa Kemal Attaturk began to introduce the ideas of nationalism and secularism, or rather laicism. This is an interesting study considering that Islamic boarding schools are traditional Islamic educational institutions originating from Indonesia and UICCI is a branch of Islamic education from Turkey. Because it is a branch of the Turkish Islamic boarding school, it has its own way of learning which is different from Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia in general. The differences lie in the teaching system which is controlled by the center in Turkey, the rules are based on Sufism, the students' learning activities are integrated with the Turkish language, Turkish culture is introduced to the students and the full scholarship for further education in Turkey is given to the students. In this research there are three problem formulations, namely: History and development of the UICCI Syarief Medan Foundation, dynamics, and its contribution to students and society. The approach used by researchers is Sociology. The theory used is Continuity and Change by Jhon Obert Voll. The method used is the historical method, which includes four steps, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The results of this research show that the UICCI Syarief Islamic Boarding School in Medan has a distinctive form and is different from Islamic boarding schools in general. The differences can be seen from the activities at the boarding school which are based on Sufism and tarekat which are followed by Islamic boarding school students, an integrated teaching system with Turkish language and Tekamul education (scholarships for further Islamic education to Turkey). Apart from that, the dynamics that occur at the UICCI Syarief Islamic boarding school can be seen from an educational and economic perspective, namely making UICCI Syarief become the center of Tadris for the Sumatra Island branch and from an economic perspective it can be seen from what was initially free to paid. In terms of contribution, this foundation only focuses on students, preparing student go to Tekamul.
