One factor that plays an important role in the quality of radiodiagnostic examination results is radiographic contrast. When examining thick objects, radiographic contrast will decrease as a result of the large amount of scattered radiation originating from the object and reaching the film. To obtain optimal radiographic contrast on thick objects such as the head, it can be done in various ways, including using a grid. The grid is a tool that functions to absorb scattered radiation but can still transmit primary radiation. Examination of the head is done to get the head radiograph and to determine any abnormalities or diseases of the head. This examination was performed using the grid and without grid to compare the better results of radiographs. Radiographs results were obtained using processing film,  Computed Radiography (CR). This research used descriptive study conducted at Hospital Tk. II Pelamonia Makassar on January 2020. Based on the results of the research which conducted for examination of the head using grid and without grid on CR cassette obtained that the result of radiograph examination of the head using a grid was better.

This study aims to find out how to measure exposure dose medical techniques which accepted the patients with a variety of ma and s at the same mas value and the effect of variations in the value of mili ampere and second different with the same mas value to medical exposure dose received by patients. This type of study is an observational descriptive with the approach of the experimental or trial. using gauges medic exposure dose, x-ray multimeter with research indicator mili ampere and second are different but the same mas. From these results it can be concluded the highest medical exposure dose received by patients is the variation of 200 ma and 0.05 s with a dose value of 5.533 mgy / s. this is due to the amount of flow tube (ma). it can be concluded that the greater ma is used, the greater the dose the patient received medical.

Increasing prosperity, technological advances and westernization can result in changes in lifestyle and eating patterns in society, especially medical personnel who are at the forefront of maintaining public health. However, ironically, they themselves are faced with a health risk that is no less serious, namely obesity. One of the factors that can influence obesity/overweight is the availability of cheap, fast but unhealthy food, one of which is fast food. Fast food consumption is increasing among medical personnel because this type of food tends to be easy to obtain, tastes delicious, and is served quickly. The nutritional content of food is no longer a consideration for medical personnel. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of fast food consumption on obesity in medical personnel. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive research methods with a cross sectional research design. The results of this study show that there is a direct influence of fast food consumption on the incidence of obesity (9.45%, T statistic 4.06%, α 5%). The conclusion is that excessive consumption of fast food can increase the risk of obesity in medical personnel. Efforts to prevent and control obesity need to be carried out comprehensively to maintain the health of medical personnel and improve the quality of health services.

In the context of increasing awareness of the importance of nutrition in supporting health and academic performance, this study fills a knowledge gap on how food services in higher education institutions can meet nutritional needs by presenting a nutritionally balanced menu. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the nutritional needs and plan a balanced nutrition menu in food services in higher education institutions. This study used observational study design. The Data was collected through a survey of 300 students and 100 staff from several higher education institutions in a particular city. The survey included questions about eating habits, food preferences, nutritional knowledge, and satisfaction with existing menus. In addition, direct observation was also made of the menu served in the campus cafeteria. Analysis of the data showed that the majority of respondents had limited nutritional knowledge and tended to consume fast food. The variety of menus offered is also limited, with deficiencies in serving nutritionally balanced meals. However, the majority of respondents expressed a desire to have more access to a nutritionally balanced menu. The results of this study highlight the importance of raising awareness of nutrition and offering a balanced variety of menus in higher education institutions. The discussion also includes the practical implications of these findings in improving the health and academic performance of the campus community. This community service aims to improve patient knowledge after spinal anesthesia through structured counseling activities. Spinal anesthesia often causes anxiety and is dangerous for patients, especially related to side effects and the recovery process. Lack of understanding can lead to non-compliance with medical injuries, which has the potential to prolong the recovery period and increase risk complications. Therefore, counseling is carried out by providing direct education to patients and families using educational media such as leaflets and interactive discussions. This approach not only helps improve patient understanding of spinal anesthesia procedures but also plays a role in reducing anxiety and increasing compliance with postoperative care. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the level of patient knowledge, which has an impact on a better recovery experience. Thus, this counseling program contributes to improving the quality of health services and patient satisfaction at PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital, as well as being a model of educational intervention that can be applied in various other health facilities.

Children's dental health is an important aspect that needs special attention from parents, especially mothers, as the primary caregivers. Tooth growth in children aged 7-12 years is a crucial period where permanent teeth begin to replace milk teeth. However, mothers' ignorance or lack of knowledge about this process can lead to cases of persistence, which is when milk teeth remain in the oral cavity even though permanent teeth have begun to grow. This condition can cause various dental and oral health problems in children. This Community Service Program aims to increase mothers' knowledge about tooth growth and the importance of preventing cases of persistence in children in Rappocini District, Makassar City. The methods used include socialization and health education, accompanied by the distribution of educational materials and interactive discussions. The expected results of this activity are increased understanding of mothers regarding the stages of children's tooth growth, early signs of persistence, and preventive measures that can be taken at home. Thus, it is hoped that the number of cases of persistence in this area can be reduced, and children's dental health can be better maintained.
