Because interest-bearing deposits are not allowed by Islamic Sharia rules and principles, Islamic banks generally collect deposits in the form of profit-sharing investment accounts. These accounts differ from conventional deposits not only because of the profit-sharing nature of the returns they offer but also because the relationship between the customer and the bank is not a debt contract, so these deposits are not considered 'fixed capital.' (artinya, nasabah dapat menerima hasil negatif atau kerugian). This last characteristic poses serious regulatory issues in jurisdictions where bank deposits are legally required to have a definition of 'certain capital.' In general, the presence of such 'risk-bearing instruments' in the capital structure of Islamic banks complicates the assessment of their capital adequacy. Moreover, the fact that profit-sharing investment account holders are a type of equity investor without the governance rights held by creditors or shareholders poses a significant oversight problem. This article explains these issues in more detail and proposes a solution in the form of a structural distinction between Islamic banks in the narrow sense on one side, and entities managing profit-sharing investment accounts on the other.

Football is far more than a game; it is a cultural language that brings people together across nations and generations. In Indonesia, this passion for football extends beyond domestic leagues, where local supporters also form strong communities around international clubs. One of these is the Chelsea Indonesia Supporters Club (CISC) Bekasi Region, a collective of Chelsea FC fans who not only share admiration for the team but also nurture social bonds and a sense of belonging within their community. This paper offers a conceptual exploration of how cohesiveness among members of CISC Bekasi contributes to the creation of a positive community image. Building on ideas from scholars such as Mulyana (2016), Collins and Raven (in Arifuddin, 2016), and Muniz and O’Guinn (in Ratnawati & Lestari, 2018), the discussion focuses on the role of group communication in fostering solidarity and collective identity. Within the group, communication is not limited to exchanging information but also functions as a medium for emotional support, shared values, and moral responsibility. The argument put forward is that effective communication and social cohesion can transform a fan club into a respected social group that embodies unity and positive representation. The experience of CISC Bekasi illustrates how sports enthusiasm, when supported by strong interpersonal ties, can encourage inclusive participation and strengthen the public image of football supporter communities in Indonesia.

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in enhancing fourth-grade students’ understanding of Asmaul Husna in elementary schools. The research employed a pre-test and post-test design, involving an experimental class that applied the Jigsaw method and a control class that used conventional teaching. Data were collected through written tests designed for elementary-level comprehension and observation sheets to record students’ learning activities. The results indicate that the Jigsaw model fosters greater student engagement, encourages collaboration, and facilitates a clearer understanding of the material, as students actively participate in sharing knowledge with peers. In addition, the method nurtures a sense of individual responsibility and improves communication skills among students. The teacher’s role as facilitator proved essential in guiding group interactions and ensuring that learning objectives were met effectively. These findings suggest that the Jigsaw model can serve as an effective alternative strategy for teaching Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools, particularly on topics such as Asmaul Husna that require not only cognitive understanding but also moral application in daily life.

Maritime safety is a critical aspect of military ship operations, where mastery of Ship Salvage Equipment (PEK) becomes a fundamental competency for cadets of the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL). This research aims to identify and analyze the benefits of knowledge of Ship Salvage Equipment (PEK) for AAL cadets in the context of professional competence development, operational readiness, and leadership character formation. Using a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, this study involved 312 AAL cadet respondents from three batches (2022-2024) selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, in-depth interviews, participant observations, and focus group discussions. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics for quantitative data, as well as thematic analysis for qualitative data. The research results show that AAL cadets have a good level of PEK knowledge (score 78.6/100), high self-efficacy (3.68/5), and good operational readiness (3.72/5). As many as 85.6% of cadets acknowledge the very high benefits of PEK learning. The five main themes of benefits identified include: the development of operational technical competencies (37.2%), the enhancement of leadership abilities in critical situations (24.8%), the formation of mental resilience (18.9%), the development of quick decision-making skills (11.4%), and the improvement of a sense of responsibility for safety (7.7%). Cadets with good PEK knowledge demonstrate superior performance with a response speed 32 seconds faster, an error rate 23.4% lower, and an emergency communication score 18.2% higher. Factors influencing the effectiveness of PEK learning include the quality of instructors and teaching methods (β = 0.34), the frequency and variety of emergency simulations (β = 0.28), which together can explain 74.8% of the variance in learning effectiveness. This study provides recommendations for intensifying practical training, improving instructor quality, standardizing the curriculum to integrate technical and leadership aspects, and conducting continuous evaluations of the PEK learning program.

The role of the mosque as a space for contemplation amidst the busy urban life. Mosques do not only serve as places of ritual worship, but also as spaces for spiritual reflection that help Muslims find inner peace. The simple and calming architecture and layout of the mosque provide a spiritual atmosphere that supports contemplation and mental tranquility. The purpose of this research is to explain the role of the mosque as a place of contemplation for individuals seeking peace amidst the activities and pressures of daily life. This research uses a literature review method with a tahlili interpretation approach to analyze relevant sources from the past 8 years. The research results prove that the main factors helping individuals achieve inner peace are practices such as dhikr, congregational prayers, and a solemn atmosphere during prayers. Spiritual activities in the mosque provide an opportunity for congregants to momentarily detach from worldly pressures and focus on their relationship with Allah, which significantly enhances their sense of peace and tranquility.

Along with the times and advances in technology, entrepreneurship has become an important pillar in economic growth. Entrepreneurship not only creates jobs, but also utilizes existing natural resources effectively. However, many people fail in starting a business because of the wrong mindset, a sense of personal limitations, and an inability to adapt to changing times. This article discusses the importance of having the right mindset, or mindset, in running a business. A growth mindset, which describes the belief that intelligence and skills can develop through effort and experience, is considered essential for entrepreneurial success. Meanwhile, a fixed mindset that views ability as something that is fixed can hinder progress. A positive and optimistic mindset is a key factor in facing entrepreneurial challenges. Entrepreneurs who think positively tend to see difficulties as opportunities to learn and grow, while those who are optimistic have higher motivation and are more resistant to pressure. Apart from that, creativity and innovation are aspects that are no less important, because entrepreneurs must be able to create products or services that can meet market needs and adapt to changes. Entrepreneurship also requires mental perseverance to face failure and unexpected challenges. A successful entrepreneur must have a tenacious, creative, hardworking attitude and dare to take risks. With a combination of these traits, entrepreneurs can achieve long-term success in their businesses. This article emphasizes that the right mindset, coupled with an innovative attitude and perseverance, greatly influences the journey and success of an entrepreneur.

Mosques have a very important role in the lives of Muslims, not only as places of worship, but also as a source of spiritual security. As centers of religious activity, mosques provide a conducive environment for the development of faith and piety. In this context, the mosque functions as a protector from negative influences that can disrupt the spiritual stability of individuals and communities. This research aims to examine the function of mosques as places of spiritual security. In the midst of the onslaught of information and moral challenges facing modern society, mosques are the first fortress that protects people from destructive influences. In it, pilgrims can find calm and peace, as well as strengthen social ties between community members. Worship activities, recitations and religious discussions in mosques contribute to deepening spiritual and moral understanding. Through a qualitative approach using heritage study methods, this research explores the role of mosques as places of spiritual refuge which is also reflected in the practice of congregational prayer. This activity not only strengthens a sense of togetherness, but also builds discipline in worship. This discipline is important for forming an individual's character of obedience and integrity, making him more resistant to worldly temptations. Probative value refers to the extent to which the evidence provided is able to prove the facts being disputed. Evidence may be relevant in the sense that it relates to the case at hand, but relevance alone does not guarantee that the evidence will be well received or considered to have a significant influence. This study uses a qualitative research method with a conceptual approach. The data collection method was collected using library research, then analyzed using qualitative methods and presented descriptively. The results of the study show that the process of proof in criminal law plays a central role in upholding substantive justice. Evidence not only functions as a mechanism to test the truth of claims or accusations brought in court, but also as a tool to protect the human rights of the accused by ensuring that everyone is considered innocent until proven otherwise. Failure to assess probative value can lead to serious injustice in the form of wrongful conviction or wrongful acquittal. To address this problem, it is necessary to increase technical literacy among legal practitioners, as well as the application of more careful procedures in testing the validity and reliability of evidence.
