Indonesia is a diverse nation with a wide range of religions, ethnicities, cultures, languages, and traditions spread across its vast territory from Sabang to Merauke. This diversity, on the one hand, serves as a strength of the nation, yet on the other hand, it also carries the potential for conflict if not managed properly through the practice of tolerance. Students, as agents of change, hold a strategic role in maintaining harmony and peace, both within campus environments and in society at large. This study aims to analyze the implementation of tolerance values among university students in order to achieve peace in a plural society. The research employs a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing relevant literature on tolerance, students, and social peace. The findings reveal that students’ tolerance can be manifested in academic settings, organizational activities, social interactions, and religious practices. Fear of crime is closely linked to various factors such as education, income, race, age, and especially gender. Many studies have shown that women tend to experience higher levels of anxiety than men, thus limiting their participation in utilizing urban outdoor spaces. This condition emphasizes the need for crime prevention efforts to be integrated into urban planning, emphasizing the fulfillment of a sense of security not only physically but also psychologically. If the city fails to provide an adequate sense of security, it will lead to increased anxiety, discomfort, and ultimately limit community involvement in the use of public spaces. This study aims to identify design factors that influence women's sense of security and psychological safety in downtown areas. The research paradigm used is post-positivism with a quantitative approach, reinforced by walkthrough analysis techniques to produce more accurate findings. The results show that control factors are the most dominant aspect in influencing women's psychological security and safety, while sub-factors such as lighting, diversity of activities, availability of open spaces, and road conditions have also been shown to play a significant role in reducing women's anxiety when accessing public spaces. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of city center design that is not only oriented towards physical function alone, but also pays attention to psychological aspects in order to create a safe, inclusive, and gender-friendly urban environment so that women can feel more protected and free to participate in urban life.

At the junior high school level (SMP), students begin to recognize the importance of values of togetherness in diversity. However, this understanding does not always run smoothly because of cultural and background differences that can affect the way students interact with each other. This study uses a descriptive approach. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' attitudes towards ethnic diversity in class VIII of a private junior high school. Data collected through questionnaires will be analyzed to obtain an overview of students' attitudes towards diversity related to the topic and objectives of the research applied. The results of the study showed that there were no significant differences in attitudes between students with different ethnic backgrounds. This means that positive attitudes towards ethnic diversity are evenly distributed among various ethnic backgrounds, indicating that ethnic factors are not a barrier to social interaction in the classroom, where most students have similar views on the importance of respecting differences and working together with friends from different ethnic groups.

Water quality plays an important role in maintaining the balance of aquatic ecosystems, including the abundance and diversity of plankton. This study aims to analyze the effect of various water quality parameters such as temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), carbon dioxide (CO2) levels, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), pH, brightness, and turbidity on plankton diversity in Bozem. Data were obtained from eight observation stations with water quality parameter measurements and plankton sampling. The results showed that the water quality in Bozem was not optimal, with low DO values (1.79 mg/L), high water temperatures (average 31.05°C), and low brightness (0.30 m), which contributed to the decline in plankton abundance. A total of 39 plankton genera were identified, with Synedra as the most dominant genus. Poor water quality inhibits plankton growth, which can impact the balance of the food chain in these waters. This study shows the importance of better water quality management to maintain the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems in Bozem. This study also contributes to the understanding of the multifactorial interactions between water quality parameters and plankton.

Indonesia is a country that has a lot of banana diversity. One of the banana plants that is widely found in Indonesia is the Kepok banana (Musa Paradisiaca.L). Kepok banana skin has a very high content of flavonoids and phenols. Flavonoids are known as good antioxidants because they can find reactive oxygen species with the phenolic hydroxyl group that flavonoids have. The aim of this research was to determine the results of the optimization of the Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE) method on the total flavonoid content of kapok banana peel ethanol extract. Microwave-Assisted Extraction (MAE) was done to extraction flavonoid from ethanol extract of kepok banana peel (Musa Paradisiaca.L). The sample collected from Widoro village, Karangsambung sub-district, Kebumen regency. Optimum extraction condition was determined by the Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The Box- Behnken design (BBD) was used to evaluate the influence of 3 factors with 3 levels extraction that is power level (10%, 30%, 50%), ethanol concentration (50, 70, 96%), and extraction time (3, 5 and 7 minutes) with 15 different runs. The research showed that optimum extraction condition was at 24,14 % of power level, 66,26% ethanol concentration, and time extraction of 3,52 minutes with calculations from the Design Expert program, the total flavonoid content response was 8.491 Mg QE/g. The total flavonoid content value obtained experimentally was 8,246 Mg QE/g under condition of 30 % power level, 70% ethanol concentration, and time extraction of 5 minutes. Based on the result, total flavonoid content can be significantly increased by optimizing the MAE process use RSM.
