This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived value on customer loyalty in the coffee shop industry in Jakarta by considering the role of customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. The approach used is quantitative with Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique. Perceived value includes dimensions of perceived quality, customer expectations, social value, and emotional value. The results show that all dimensions of perceived value have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is proven to have an important role in increasing loyalty, where emotional and social experiences are factors that are no less important than functional aspects. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of emotional and social dimensions in explaining customer loyalty. The practical implication is that coffee shop business actors can develop service strategies that are more focused on creating meaningful customer experiences. Future research is recommended to explore qualitative approaches to understand the dynamics of consumer behavior in the context of urban lifestyles.

This study examines the influence of online customer reviews and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention for Erigo fashion products sold on Shopee. The research is motivated by the rapid growth of local fashion sales on e-commerce platforms, yet the Erigo brand shows relatively low repurchase intention despite receiving many positive ratings. This gap between consumer expectations and actual experiences highlights the importance of satisfaction in driving loyalty. The study adopts a quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative methods. The population consists of Shopee consumers who have purchased Erigo products, with purposive sampling applied. A total of 362 valid responses were analyzed after outlier removal from 385 initial respondents. Descriptive results indicate that online customer reviews are categorized as very high (4.40), customer satisfaction as high (4.08), and repurchase intention as good (3.95). The findings show that online customer reviews contribute 47.70%, customer satisfaction 57.10%, and both variables jointly 59.60% to repurchase intention. Hypothesis testing confirms significant partial and simultaneous effects of both predictors on repurchase intention.

The background of this study is based on the importance of implementing CRM strategies in the hospitality industry, particularly in facing business competition challenges and meeting the ever-evolving needs and expectations of customers. In the context of sharia tourism, which is beginning to develop in West Sumatra, good service and long-term relationships with guests are significant added values for the sustainability of a hotel. The objective of this study was to determine how the CRM concept is implemented at Hotel Royal Denai Bukittinggi, and to what extent CRM contributes to building customer loyalty. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with the Human Resource Development (HRD) department, direct observation of guest service activities, and relevant documentation studies. The research findings indicate that the implementation of CRM at Hotel Royal Denai is still not optimal. The hotel does not yet have an integrated customer data management system, and its communication strategies with guests remain conventional and lack sustainability. Additionally, certain aspects of service, such as the completeness of room facilities, the speed of response to guest complaints, and the friendly attitude of staff, still need improvement. However, the management acknowledges the importance of CRM as a key strategy for enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships with guests.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of online and offline marketing strategies in increasing used car sales at Yuna Mobil Showroom Rantau Prapat. The research background is based on the rapid development of information technology and digitalization, which encourage businesses to combine conventional and digital marketing strategies to reach a wider range of consumers. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The results indicate that online marketing plays a significant role in building brand awareness, expanding market reach, and providing fast and efficient access to information through social media, marketplaces, and instant messaging applications. However, this strategy has not been fully effective in converting consumer interest into actual purchase decisions, as customers still require direct product experience. Conversely, offline marketing is proven to be more effective at the decision-making stage due to direct interaction, test drives, and higher consumer trust in the actual condition of used cars. Therefore, the effectiveness of marketing will be optimized if online and offline strategies are implemented in an integrated and complementary manner. This study provides practical contributions for automotive business players in designing marketing strategies aligned with local consumer characteristics, as well as academic contributions to the development of marketing management studies in the digital era.

In the healthcare sector, patient revisit intention serves as an important measure of hospital success, influencing financial stability, operational effectiveness, and long-term patient retention. With increasing competition, hospitals must strengthen trust, improve service quality, and maintain a positive institutional image to retain patients. This study focuses on the declining number of non-BPJS (non-insured) patients at Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital, Cengkareng, which impacts revenue sustainability. The research aims to assess how trust and customer perceived value affect revisit intention, and whether hospital image moderates these relationships. A quantitative approach was applied using a structured questionnaire distributed to 95 non-BPJS outpatients who had previously sought treatment more than once. Data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method via SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that both trust and perceived value significantly and positively influence revisit intention, implying that patients with strong trust and satisfaction tend to return. Although hospital image directly influences revisit intention, it does not significantly moderate the link between perceived value and revisit intention. Therefore, hospitals are advised to enhance patient trust and perceived value while sustaining a credible institutional image to strengthen loyalty among non-BPJS patients

Islamic banking plays a crucial role in providing financing in accordance with Islamic principles, including through the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) product. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Murabahah and Musyarakah Mutanaqishah (MMQ) contracts in the iB Hijrah KPR financing product at Bank Muamalat KCP Rancaekek. The Murabahah contract is implemented through a sale and purchase mechanism, where the bank purchases the house the customer needs and resells it with an agreed profit margin, thus providing price certainty and a simple process. Meanwhile, the MMQ contract is based on a partnership between the bank and the customer with a concept of joint ownership that gradually decreases, thus creating flexibility and a more balanced risk sharing. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through literature studies, interviews, and observations. The results of the analysis show that the majority of customers prefer the Murabahah contract due to its simplicity, although in the long term, MMQ is seen as more economical and fair. Thus, both contracts are equally relevant to support Sharia-based home ownership. This research is expected to contribute to Islamic banking in improving service quality, strengthening Islamic financial literacy, and encouraging innovation in competitive and sustainable financing products.

Service excellence has become a strategic issue in modern educational management because it is directly related to service quality, customer satisfaction, and the image of educational institutions. In the context of global competition and demands for public transparency, educational institutions are required to provide services that are effective, efficient, and oriented to the needs of students and the community. This study aims to systematically examine how the concept of service excellence is implemented in educational institutions and its impact on customer satisfaction. The method used was a systematic literature review, searching articles in national databases such as Google Scholar, Garuda, and campus journal portals using the keywords "service excellence," "service excellence," "education," and "customer satisfaction." Of the 20 articles found, seven met the analysis criteria. The results of the study revealed three main themes: improving the professionalism of educational staff, implementing the TQM concept in service, and strengthening a customer-oriented service culture. This literature synthesis concluded that service excellence significantly increases customer satisfaction and loyalty in educational institutions. Future research should focus on an integrative model of digital-based service excellence in educational institutions.

This study aims to thoroughly examine the influence of menu variety, taste, and price on customers' purchasing decisions at CEZ-ROS Restaurant, located in Kediri Regency. Understanding these factors is crucial for the restaurant to enhance customer satisfaction and improve sales performance. The research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research type, designed to explore relationships between variables. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling, where respondents were selected based on convenience and their availability during the data collection period. This method allows for practical and efficient data gathering from actual restaurant customers. Data analysis involves several statistical tests to ensure accuracy and reliability. Initially, validity and reliability tests were conducted to confirm the suitability of the questionnaire. Then, multiple linear regression analysis was used to determine how menu variety, taste, and price individually and collectively influence purchasing decisions. Additionally, t-tests assessed the significance of each independent variable, while the F-test evaluated their simultaneous effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) provided insight into how much variation in purchasing decisions could be explained by these variables. The results indicate that menu variety, taste, and price significantly impact purchasing decisions both individually and together. Specifically, customers prefer restaurants offering a diverse menu, delicious food, and reasonable pricing. The F-test confirms the strong combined effect of these factors on consumer behavior. However, the coefficient of determination also suggests that while these variables are important, other external influences such as service quality, ambiance, and promotions may also affect purchasing decisions. Overall, this study highlights that CEZ-ROS Restaurant should focus on maintaining menu diversity, enhancing taste quality, and setting competitive prices to attract and retain customers effectively.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the murabahah contract in the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) financing product at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Cimahi Branch Office. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the KPR financing mechanism at BSI Cimahi Branch Office has been running in accordance with sharia principles established by the National Sharia Council (DSN-MUI). The process starts from customer application, wakalah contract, to the implementation of the murabahah contract with the principle of transparency of the principal price and profit margin agreed in advance and fixed throughout the financing tenor. The implementation of this system provides payment certainty for customers and protects against the risk of interest rate fluctuations. In terms of performance, Murabahah KPR financing at BSI Cimahi Branch Office has contributed significantly to the financing portfolio with a low level of Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and positive growth every year. However, challenges still exist in the amount of the down payment and the attachment of a fixed margin that can be a burden for customers with limited financial capabilities. Overall, the murabahah contract has proven to be an effective, transparent, and sharia-compliant instrument in supporting home ownership for the Muslim community in Indonesia.

This study investigates the influence of employing Atta Halilintar as a brand ambassador on the improvement of products and services at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) through the lens of business communication. The research employs a quantitative approach with data collected via questionnaires from 100 respondents, both BSI customers and non-customers. Respondents assessed seven key variables: awareness, image, relevance, product knowledge, purchase intention, word of mouth, and engagement. The findings reveal that the brand ambassador has a moderate impact on strengthening BSI’s products and services, with average scores falling within the “fair” range of 2.76–3.1 on a four-point Likert scale. Awareness recorded the highest score of 3.1, reflecting the effectiveness of Atta Halilintar in enhancing brand recognition among the younger generation. Conversely, purchase intention received the lowest score of 2.76, suggesting that although awareness and positive image improved, they have not yet translated into higher conversion rates or actual product usage. These results highlight that the presence of a brand ambassador primarily boosts visibility and engagement but requires complementary strategies such as product education, interactive campaigns, and community-based marketing to achieve stronger customer adoption. Thus, the study underscores the importance of integrating brand ambassador initiatives with broader business communication strategies to maximize both awareness and transactional outcomes in Islamic banking.

This study aims to explore guest experience as a benchmark for service quality in four-star hotels in Bali. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research was conducted at two representative hotels, namely Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta and The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews with 20 guests who had stayed for at least one night within the past six months, online review analysis from platforms such as Booking.com and TripAdvisor, as well as participatory observations in service areas. The findings reveal that the dimensions of service quality most influencing guest experience include staff responsiveness, facility comfort, and the authenticity of services that integrate local culture. Guests appreciated staff friendliness and professionalism, room cleanliness, and personal touches such as being greeted by name or receiving special attention, which created positive emotional experiences. However, several weaknesses were also identified, such as delays in room service during peak hours and inconsistent maintenance of facilities. These results are consistent with the SERVQUAL model (Parasuraman et al., 1988), which emphasizes five key dimensions, but this study highlights the emotional experience dimension, which has been less explored in hospitality research in Bali. This study makes a theoretical contribution by broadening the understanding of the relationship between service quality and guest experience, particularly in the context of four-star hotels that are characterized by high service standards and intense competition. The practical implications suggest that hotel management should strengthen service personalization, ensure consistency in staff reliability and responsiveness, and enhance the integration of local cultural values as a differentiation strategy to increase competitiveness. Thus, guest experience can serve as a primary indicator that not only reflects service quality but also builds customer loyalty and strengthens the hotel’s positive image among both domestic and international tourists.

The modern retail industry in Indonesia is increasingly competitive, especially in the minimarket sector, which requires every business actor to continuously improve the quality of services and products to maintain consumer loyalty. Indomaret, as one of the main players, has introduced the Indomaret Fresh concept that offers a wider variety of products and a more modern shopping experience. However, despite various innovations, there are still complaints from consumers regarding prices, product diversity, and product quality available. This study aims to analyze the influence of price, product diversity, and product quality on consumer repurchase intentions at Indomaret Fresh in Medan City. The study used a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, and data analysis was conducted using SPSS to test the partial and simultaneous effects of these variables. The results showed that price and product diversity had a negative and insignificant effect on repurchase intentions, while product quality had a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, these three variables together had a significant effect on repurchase intentions. These findings emphasize that product quality is a major factor in building consumer loyalty, while aspects of price and product variety need to be adjusted to consumer preferences and expectations for a more effective Indomaret Fresh marketing strategy.

This study aims to analyze the role of communication in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in creating customer satisfaction at PT Bangkit Jaya Teknik Indonesia, a business-to-business (B2B) cold storage installation service company. The research background lies in the increasing number of customer complaints during 2022–2024, mainly due to delayed responses, suboptimal after-sales service, and the absence of a centralized communication record system. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews with internal parties (marketing project, project manager, project PIC) and customers, as well as company archival documentation. The findings reveal that responsive, open, and two-way communication plays a significant role in enhancing customers’ sense of being valued, trust, and loyalty, which ultimately fosters satisfaction. However, communication barriers such as delays in after-sales service, gaps between customer expectations and company procedures, and the lack of a communication database remain major challenges. To overcome these, the company has initiated strategies including the development of a customer communication database, improved after-sales monitoring, and the adjustment of communication standard operating procedures to align with customer needs. These results reinforce the relevance of Relationship Management theory and the IDIC model, both of which emphasize communication as the core of CRM. Theoretically, this study contributes to organizational communication studies, while practically, it provides recommendations for B2B service companies to prioritize communication in CRM strategies to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The 5-star hotel is full of beauty, futuristic design, and perfect service. One of the components that guests complain about at the Tentrem Hotel Yogyakarta is housekeeping negligence. The research method is qualitative, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the forms of negligence that occur in housekeeping services at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta are 3 (three) actions: first, negligence in cleaning guest rooms, errors in placing guests' personal belongings, and delays in providing additional requests (amenity delay). Housekeeping negligence affects guest satisfaction at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta by reducing the reliability and tangibles dimensions of service quality. Guests feel the hotel cannot be trusted to provide a comfortable stay experience, leading to a decrease in the empathy and assurance dimensions. Guests feel their privacy is violated, which may even lead to suspicion toward hotel staff. Efforts to improve the negligence occurring in housekeeping services at Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta involve three actions: implementing an inspection checklist and supervisor verification before guests check-in, ensuring staff are well-trained, educated, and professional in their work, and adopting a digital logistics system to record guest requests and prioritize deliveries.
