The Liga 1 Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology which aims to provide opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom through structured internship activities. The Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) internship program is designed to equip students with readiness to enter the business and industrial world (DUDI), as well as implement course theory through hands-on work practice in the field. The MBKM internship activity which was carried out in Bongo Village, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency, aimed to provide real experience to students in village financial management. Bongo Village was chosen as the location of the internship because of its reputation as the best village in the region. The intern students converted the courses that had been programmed with the practice of implementing the village financial system based on the Siskeudes application. Through this activity, students not only understand the theory of public financial management, but also gain technical and social skills in interacting with village officials and the community. The results of the internship activities show that students are able to understand and operate the Siskeudes system effectively. The knowledge and skills gained are expected to be implemented in nine other villages in Bone Bolango District, as a form of real contribution to more transparent and accountable village financial governance. This program proves that collaboration between universities and village governments can have a positive impact on human resource capacity building and village governance. Thus, MBKM internships are a strategic means in supporting the transformation of higher education that is relevant to the needs of the community and regional development.

The Ripple Mill machine is one of the vital components in a Palm Oil Mill (PKS) that functions to separate the palm kernel from its shell. This process is very important because the quality and quantity of the palm kernel produced will directly affect the economic value and production efficiency in the palm oil industry. At PTPN IV Regional II Plantation Unit and Adolina PKS, various technical problems were found that caused a decrease in machine performance, including rotor bars and square bars that experienced wear due to age and improper machine settings. In addition, other damage that often occurs is a broken van belt due to age and excessive tension, feeder motor dysfunction caused by excessive load, and motor overheating that occurs due to age and high workload. To overcome these problems, this study uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. This method aims to identify various potential failures, assess the severity, frequency of occurrence, and detection capability, so that the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value can be calculated as a basis for repair priorities. The results showed that worn rotor bars and worn square bars had the highest RPN values, each at 280, equivalent to 40.23% of the total identified risks. This indicates that these two components are critical points requiring immediate repair and maintenance attention. Applying FMEA in this context provides tangible benefits, including helping the company formulate a more targeted maintenance strategy, reducing the risk of recurring damage, and minimizing downtime that impacts production. With more systematic maintenance, operational efficiency can be improved while extending the lifespan of the Ripple Mill machine.

Obesity in women of childbearing age is a growing health problem, not only due to dietary patterns and lack of physical activity, but also due to the influence of social and cultural factors. This study aims to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences, perspectives, and habits of women of reproductive age who are obese within the context of local social and cultural norms. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with five primary informants who are obese, as well as triangulation informants from community health workers and healthcare professionals. The results of the study indicate that perceptions of obesity are still predominantly viewed from the perspective of physical appearance rather than health. Social factors such as family eating patterns, snacking habits, comments from others, and lack of physical activity are triggers for obesity. Meanwhile, local culture has a varied influence—some communities are beginning to adopt slim body ideals, while others remain neutral. Obesity also impacts self-confidence, social stigma, and limitations in daily activities. However, most informants expressed hope for a healthier life. This study recommends interventions that consider local cultural values and involve family and community support in obesity prevention effort.

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is essential for infant growth, immunity, and overall health. However, many breastfeeding mothers experience difficulties in maintaining exclusive breastfeeding due to improper breastfeeding techniques, low maternal knowledge, and lack of guidance from health workers. Proper application of breastfeeding techniques, including correct latch-on, positioning, and frequency, can improve breastfeeding consistency and prevent early weaning (Sari, 2020; Putri, 2021). Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of breastfeeding techniques on the consistency of exclusive breastfeeding in breastfeeding mothers at the Dambalo Community Health Center. Methods: A quantitative, pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted. Thirty breastfeeding mothers were selected using purposive sampling based on inclusion criteria, including mothers of infants aged 0–6 months who were willing to participate and had no medical conditions preventing breastfeeding. Results: All 30 participants (100%) applied the recommended breastfeeding techniques after the intervention. Following the intervention, 27 mothers (90%) consistently practiced exclusive breastfeeding, while three mothers (10%) showed partial improvement. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test revealed a significant difference in exclusive breastfeeding consistency before and after the intervention (p = 0.000), indicating that the application of proper breastfeeding techniques significantly improved breastfeeding practices. Conclusion: The application of breastfeeding techniques has a significant positive effect on the consistency of exclusive breastfeeding among mothers at the Dambalo Community Health Center. Structured guidance and practical support from health workers, particularly midwives, are essential to improve maternal skills, reinforce proper practices, and ensure the health and growth of infants.

Work fatigue is a physical condition that weakens workers, causing less than optimal work capacity and endurance. Lactic acid is produced from anaerobic metabolism or carbohydrate metabolism without oxygen. This happens because there is not enough oxygen to support muscle energy production. The body that cannot produce the amount of lactic acid that is comparable to the rate of its synthesis, then the muscle pH will decrease, this is what inhibits glycolysis enzymes resulting in physical fatigue. Physical fatigue is the effect of increased levels of lactic acid in the body, especially muscles. One of the jobs at PT. X in Kampar Regency that can cause work fatigue is a palm oil harvester. This study is an observational study type with a cross-sectional study design. Data were obtained using interviews using a BMI questionnaire. Data collection was also carried out to obtain BMI measurement data, pulse measurements, blood pressure measurements, and lactic acid measurements with Accutrend Plus Roche Brand on 138 harvesters at PT. X Kampar Regency. In this study, the independent variable is the level of lactic acid and the dependent variable is work fatigue. The results of the study showed that the harvesters who experienced moderate work fatigue were 13 people (11.4%). The harvesters who experienced high work fatigue were 54 people (47.4%). The harvesters who experienced very high work fatigue were 47 people (41.2%). The high proportion of workers who experienced high and very high work fatigue (88.6%) reflects the significant physical workload that must be faced by oil palm harvesters at PT. X. Harvesters with lactic acid levels <2 mmol/l (not increasing) were 13 people (11.4%) and harvesters with lactic acid levels> 2 mmol/l (increasing/hyperlactatemia) were 101 people (88.6%). From the results obtained, a significant increase in lactic acid levels in 88.6% of respondents indicated that most workers experienced higher muscle fatigue conditions during work with increased lactic acid levels.

In the celebration of the Eucharist, silence is an important element in liturgical celebrations. Liturgical silence is a means that sends people into the inner world where God is personally experienced. Silence is a time when people listen and absorb God's Word and bear fruit in their daily lives through words, actions and deeds. The author's purpose in making this scientific paper is to urge the people to maintain silence while participating in the Eucharistic Celebration, so that all people can prepare themselves and mind to follow and carry out the Eucharistic Celebration with a calm heart and mind. The method of writing this thesis is a literature review. This scientific work was compiled based on the author's concern about the lack of appreciation of the people in participating in the Eucharistic Celebration. It is undeniable that there are things that disturb the silence during the Eucharistic Celebration, such as the noise in the sacrament when the officers are preparing themselves, and the sound  of mobile phones ringing. Therefore, before the Eucharistic Celebration, it is highly recommended that silence can be created, both in the church and in the area around the church. This paper recalls that silence can be created through prayer. And the most important thing in prayer is not to first seek what we want, but to be aware of the desire and inner movement that is driven by God Himself.

The development targets in the Health sector in the 2020–2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) place one of the main targets for maternal and child health is to reduce the incidence of children under five years old (toddlers) stunting (low height / short) by 30.8% (2018) to 19% in 2024. Optimal Health Status must be prepared since a woman before marriage. Then continued when the woman is pregnant, and while breastfeeding. Childhood is the foundation for growth and development in the next stage, if there are nutritional problems then the consequences that arise are permanent. The risk of stunting by 7x can occur in women 15-49 years who experience anemia and when they become pregnant will be at risk of giving birth to stunted babies. In women of childbearing age aged 15-49 years is the foundation for growth and development in the next stage, if during this period women experience nutritional problems then the consequences that arise can be permanent or irreversible. Its essence is a critical period when a system is plastic and sensitive to its environment, followed by a permanent loss of plasticity and functional capacity (Ummi Kalsum et al., 2021). Before education was provided, most adolescents showed a low level of understanding, namely 31 respondents (56.7%), and awareness of the importance of monitoring nutritional status during adolescence was also minimal. However, after interactive counseling with an easy-to-understand approach, there was a significant increase in knowledge, with 41 respondents (68.3%) showing an increase in understanding, reflected in a change in the knowledge category to a better level. This activity emphasizes the importance of promotive and preventive interventions in areas at high risk of nutritional problems. The implementation of direct and participatory education involving cadres and health workers has proven effective in increasing awareness and forming healthy lifestyle behaviors in adolescents. Therefore, similar education programs need to be implemented continuously to reduce anemia rates to prevent stunting and prevent stunting from adolescence.

The correctional facility SAE L’SIMA in Malang is confronted with two major challenges: the environmental impact of accumulated cow manure and the need to provide meaningful vocational training for inmates to support rehabilitation and reintegration. This community service program was designed to address both issues simultaneously through the introduction and application of biogas technology. The primary objective was to manage livestock waste as an alternative renewable energy source while equipping inmates with practical technical skills applicable beyond the correctional setting. The implementation method employed a participatory approach that involved several stages, including program socialization, site survey, biogas unit design, assembly of a small-scale digester, and subsequent monitoring and evaluation. The results demonstrated that the biogas unit was successfully constructed and operational; however, gas production levels remained below optimal standards. Key challenges identified included unstable temperature conditions, which negatively affected the fermentation process, and technical problems such as leakage in the piping system. These obstacles limited the overall effectiveness of gas generation. Despite these limitations, the project provided significant outcomes. First, it created a working model of sustainable energy generation within the correctional environment. Second, it delivered valuable vocational training for inmates, offering them both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in renewable energy technology. Furthermore, the program encouraged inmate participation, fostering teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving skills that are essential for personal development. In conclusion, although technical barriers remain, this initiative succeeded in establishing the foundation for sustainable waste management and renewable energy application within a correctional facility. More importantly, it highlights the potential of biogas technology not only as an environmental solution but also as a rehabilitative vocational training tool. Continued monitoring, process optimization, and technical refinements are essential for achieving long-term success and scalability of this model in similar institutional contexts.

This study uses a qualitative method to examine legal protection for female workers who experience discrimination in employment relationships. Discrimination against women in the workplace remains prevalent, taking forms such as unequal pay, limited opportunities for promotion, and sexual harassment, all of which affect their safety and comfort at work. Legal protection for female workers is regulated by various laws, including the Manpower Act, the Human Rights Act, and ILO conventions ratified by Indonesia. However, the implementation of these protections is often ineffective due to weak law enforcement, limited awareness among female workers regarding their rights, and the persistence of patriarchal culture. This study aims to analyze the extent to which legal regulations and their implementation function effectively, as well as the obstacles female workers face in claiming their rights. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, literature review, and document analysis. The findings indicate the need to strengthen labor inspection institutions and provide legal education for female workers to achieve justice in employment relationships.

Eye fatigue is a common condition often experienced by workers in the textile industry when their eyes feel very tired due to prolonged and continuous use in low light conditions. Among textile workers in Dalangan Village, Tawangsari, Sukoharjo, 100% of the 10 respondents experienced eye fatigue due to insufficient lighting intensity that did not meet the standard (300 Lux). This study aims to investigate the relationship between lighting intensity and eye fatigue among textile workers in the central textile industry in Dalangan Village, Tawangsari, Sukoharjo. This is a quantitative study using observational analysis with a cross-sectional approach. Lighting intensity was measured using a lighting measurement observation sheet with a Lux Meter, while eye fatigue was measured using a questionnaire. The study population consisted of 35 workers, and the sample was selected using total sampling. Based on the results of the chi-square test analysis, a significant relationship was found between lighting and eye fatigue among textile workers, with a p-value of <0.05 and a p-value of 0.039. The analysis yielded a PR value of 0.727, meaning that respondents with inadequate lighting have a 0.727 times higher risk of experiencing eye fatigue compared to respondents with adequate lighting. We recommend that weaving workers pay more attention to eye health and ensure that the lighting levels used comply with standards.

Digital transformation in health services faces significant challenges, particularly the gap between rapid technological advancements and the readiness of institutional work culture. This study investigates the cultural lag experienced during the implementation of digital systems at the East Nunukan Health Center. Using an observational qualitative approach, it examines health workers' responses to digital applications such as e-Puskesmas and various Health Information Systems. The findings reveal substantial resistance to change, attributed to factors like limited digital literacy, inadequate infrastructure, and the persistence of traditional work patterns. Despite the introduction of digital systems, healthcare practices remain largely dependent on manual methods, highlighting the disconnect between technological progress and the socio-cultural preparedness of healthcare organizations. The study concludes that this cultural lag within healthcare institutions can significantly impede the effectiveness of digital transformation efforts. To address these issues, the research advocates for ongoing training, improvement of supporting facilities, and the adoption of strategies that align with local work culture. This research provides valuable insights into the socio-cultural dynamics affecting the digitization of public services, especially in border regions with limited technological access.

This study explores the character development of Vianne Mauriac in Kristin Hannah’s historical novel The Nightingale, with a particular focus on how her moral progression is revealed through characterization. It aims to examine how direct and indirect characterization contribute to the portrayal of Vianne’s evolving moral reasoning under the pressure of wartime experiences. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the analysis uses Rimmon-Kenan’s theory to identify characterization techniques and Kohlberg’s stages of moral development to interpret Vianne’s ethical transformation. The findings indicate that Vianne shifts from self-preserving and fear-driven decisions to socially conscious choices and ultimately to morally autonomous actions grounded in universal principles. Her characterization, through action, speech, appearance, and environment, functions not only to construct Vianne’s identity but also to trace her moral journey. Her development demonstrates how literature, particularly historical fiction, can reflect and explore complex ethical growth. The study contributes to understanding how characterization and moral development work together in shaping a compelling and morally resonant protagonist.

This study aims to analyze the forms of learning difficulties experienced by students in understanding the path independence theorem in the Vector Calculus course. The focus of the research is a group of students who had previously presented this material in class. Data were collected through a questionnaire containing both open- and close-ended questions to explore conceptual understanding, difficulties in distinguishing between conservative and non-conservative fields, and challenges in solving application problems. The analysis revealed that although students reported having a fair grasp of the basic concepts, they still expressed uncertainty in understanding the relationship between path independence and the conditions for conservative fields. Difficulties were also found in spatial visualization and in connecting concepts with the fundamental theorem of calculus. In addition, students showed a preference for worked example problem sets and visual learning media as the most effective learning supports. These findings indicate the need for an interactive, contextual, and visually supported instructional approach to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and application skills related to this topic.

This study aims to describe the reasons and experiences of Indonesian youth who choose to work abroad as a response to domestic employment conditions. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, four key informants who have worked abroad for two years were interviewed online. The results show that young people experience obstacles in obtaining decent work, such as a non-transparent recruitment system, the dominance of nepotism practices, low professional recognition, and limited space for development. The decision to work abroad is a form of resistance to an unfair social system, as well as an effort to build a better identity and future. These findings are analyzed using Ulrich Beck's risk society theory, which explains that individuals in the modern era face social risks due to the failure of the modernization system. This study recommends the need for reform of the employment system in Indonesia to be fairer, more inclusive, and pro-young generation.
