The cyanide coffee murder case involving Jessica Wongso as a suspect in the murder of the victim Wayan Mirna Salihin had become a hot topic in the mass media. In 2017, the case was finalized with the decision of the Supreme Court which declared Jessica as a murder suspect with a sentence of 20 years in prison. Until the release of a documentary entitled Ice Cold Murder, Coffee, and Jessica. With the rapid development of technology, anyone who does not watch the documentary Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee, and Jessica can watch footage spread across Social Media. Public opinion began to change after the release of the documentary. The public considered that many irregularities occurred in this murder case. This research aims to review the role of social media in the dissemination of the Ice Cold documentary, so that the public can find new things that have not previously been discussed during the trial, using qualitative research methods: case studies. Social media acts as a harmonizer in which social media has the ability to unify perspectives from diverse public responses on social media networks.

Information technology is very important for business, including accounting information systems. One way businesses use information technology to increase their competitiveness is e-commerce. Additionally, social media helps in implementing online marketing strategies. The aim of this research is to evaluate and analyze the impact of accounting information systems, e-commerce and social media on decisions made by entrepreneurs. This type of research is quantitative and uses an accidental sampling method to produce 230 respondents. This research collects data by distributing questionnaires on the network using Google Form, and data analysis is carried out using the SmartPLS SEM application for quantitative analysis. The conclusion of the t test shows that accounting information systems, e-commerce, and social media have a positive and significant impact on decisions made by entrepreneurs.

The development of technology and information has had an impact on students, especially those who actively use social media. The busyness and activities of students who are active in using social media, especially at night, can lead to poor sleep quality. Exposure to unhealthy content such as cyberbullying, body shaming, and social comparison can affect a person's emotional stability. To determine the relationship between the duration of social media use, sleep quality, and emotional stability. The sampling technique in this research uses Quota Sampling, and 122 nursing students out of a total of 175 were obtained. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational study type, adopting a Cross-Sectional study approach. Statistical tests using the Chi-Square test with a sensitivity level of α = 0.05% or 95%. The results of the relationship between the duration of social media use and sleep quality show a value of p = 0.003 < α = 0.05. Meanwhile, the results of the relationship between the duration of social media use and emotional stability show a value of p = 0.001 < α = 0.05. There is a relationship between the duration of social media use, sleep quality, and emotional stability. The higher the use of social media, the worse the sleep quality and the lower the emotional stability.

Artikel ini merupakan penyajian yang didasarkan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dimana artikel ini memiliki maksud untuk menganalisis bagaimana kondisi saat ini atas pemanfaatan  teknologi  informasi  dalam  upaya pengenalan serta pemasaran  produk  batik  di wilayah Kabupaten Batang. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan dasar pemikiran bahwa batik merupakan warisan budaya Indonesia yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk meningkatkan derajat ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat Kabupaten Batang yang Sebagian masyarakatnya menggantungkan hidup pada sektor pengrajin batik. Demi mendukung eksistensi pengerajin batik maka sudah sepatutnya pengerajin batik di Kabupaten Batang mulai memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam pengenalan dan pemasaran produk yang dihasilkan agar mampu bersaing baik di level lokal maupun internasional. Pengabdian ini akan mencoba memberikan kontribusi nyata bagaimana memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi informasi yang dapat dilakukan oleh para pengrajin dalam mengenalkan dan mempromosikan bati di Kabupaten Batang, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi yang sedang popular saat ini seperti teknologi media sosial, website, konten digital, digital advertising, dan memanfaatkan influencer lokal dan nasional dalam membantu memasarkan produk yang dihasilkan oleh pengerajin. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat sedikit memberikan sumbangsih pengetahuan dan menambah wawasan bagi para pengerajin untuk mulai memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam mengenalkan dan mempromosikan produk batik Kabupaten Batang agar tetap eksis di era yang serba digital saat ini.

Background: Public opinion analysis has become increasingly important in the digital era, where social media platforms generate large-scale textual data reflecting public perceptions toward environmental policies. Advances in Natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning enable systematic sentiment classification to support data-driven decision-making. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of several sentiment classification models in analyzing Indonesian-language social media data related to environmental policies. Method: The research employed a text mining pipeline including data crawling, preprocessing (case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming), and vectorization using TF-IDF. Three classification models Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) were trained and evaluated using accuracy and F1-score metrics. Results: Experimental findings indicate that LSTM achieved the highest performance with 91.7% accuracy and 91.2% F1-score, outperforming SVM (88.5%) and Logistic Regression (84.2%). Sentiment distribution analysis shows that public opinion is dominated by positive sentiment (47.5%), followed by neutral (32.0%) and negative (20.5%). Overall: The results demonstrate that deep learning-based models provide more robust contextual understanding and more reliable sentiment mapping for environmental policy analysis.

Desa Meteseh, Kecamatan Tembalang, Kota Semarang memiliki potensi besar di bidang batik dan makanan olahan. Salah satu kelompok pengrajin, batik Sanggar Tapak Dara, mengalami penurunan penjualan dan kurangnya daya saing. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, direncanakan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Tujuannya adalah meningkatkan pendapatan, motivasi, ketrampilan menggunakan media sosial dan Marketplace dalam memasarkan, serta daya saing anggota pengrajin. Manfaatnya termasuk peningkatan motivasi dan ketrampilan, serta daya saing pengrajin. Dengan menerapkan metode-metode secara terintegrasi dan berkelanjutan, Sanggar Batik Tapak Dara dapat mengembangkan strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja bisnis mereka dan menghadapi tantangan dalam era perekonomian digital. Diharapkan kegiatan ini akan membantu meningkatkan pendapatan dan keberlanjutan usaha masyarakat pengrajin batik Tapak Dara.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada UMKM ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan optimalisasi pemanfaatan platform digital. House of Duren merupakan UMKM yang membutuhkan bantuan berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan memberikan materi pelatihan dan pendampingan terkait optimalisasi media sosial dan merancang website UMKM House Of Duren. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam merancang content plan menggunakan Google Spreadsheet, membuat desain konten menggunakan aplikasi Canva, dan mengembangkan website menggunakan Google Sites. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut dirancang sedemikian rupa sehingga nantinya House of Duren dapat secara mandiri terus melakukan perencanaan, perancangan, dan pemeliharaan konten & website.

As marketing strategies evolve, digital marketing is becoming increasingly integral to contemporary marketing approaches. Various promotional tactics, including social media marketing, live streaming, and online customer evaluations, are being utilized by companies to attract consumer interest in purchasing products. This study aims to examine the impact of social media marketing, live streaming, and online assessments on purchasing interest in The Originote products on the Shopee platform. The study population consists of The Originote's Instagram followers, with a sample size of 117 respondents. Data analysis is conducted using SPSS 26, encompassing validity and reliability assessments, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, f-tests, and t-tests. The findings of the study suggest that while social media marketing (X1) does not significantly influence purchasing interest, live streaming (X2) and Customer online Review (X3) exhibits a significant impact on purchasing interest.

Low motivation to learn is often a serious challenge in one's academic development. Excessive use of social media can have both positive and negative impacts on learning motivation, depending on the usage policy. This study aims to analyze the magnitude of the relationship between the use of social media and the motivation to learn mathematics of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample consisted of 58 grade VIII students who were given video supplements related to learning materials at school through TikTok before formal learning was carried out. Based on the data analysis used using the Spearman correlation, the correlation coefficient value is + 0.744, it can be seen that the motivation to learn mathematics with the use of social media has a unidirectional relationship. This shows that if there is an increase in the value of using social media in learning, the value of math learning motivation will also increase linearly. By treating relevant learning videos through TikTok social media before learning takes place, educators are able to create a more interesting and intimate learning experience to increase student motivation in learning mathematics.

This article analyzes the criminal offense of promoting online gambling, which is currently widespread on social media. The purpose of this article is to understand the legal frameworks regarding online gambling promotion on social media. The findings indicate that the regulations are found in Article 303 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), Article 303 Bis, Article 426 of the New Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP Baru), and Article 27 paragraph 2, Article 427 of the New Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP Baru), and Article 45 paragraph 3 of the Indonesian Information Technology Law (UU ITE). The research method used in this writing is legal normative research with a statutory approach and a case approach. The legal sources in this research are primary and secondary legal sources, based on various regulations and various journals and academic writings. The result of the research is that within the online gambling regulations, there is a loophole, which is referred to as the "license" in the KUHP. The online gambling regulations in the Indonesian Information Technology Law are already in accordance with this.

The goal of this study was to analyze the effectiveness trends of digital marketing platforms with a comparison between two platforms, Google Ads and Facebook Ads. This research was conducted in January-February 2024 in East Ciputat District, South Tangerang City. The research subjects were 10 business owners who use both platforms, namely Google Ads and Facebook Ads. This research uses a qualitative method, namely by conducting in-depth interviews with 10 business owners who use both platforms. The results showed that the two platforms have different effectiveness, depending on the type of business and the target market. Google Ads is more effective for businesses that target consumers who are looking for information about certain products or services online. Meanwhile, Facebook Ads are more effective for businesses that target consumers who have a certain interest or interest in a particular product or service. This research implies that business owners need to choose the digital marketing platform that best suits their business type and target market. Choosing the right digital marketing platform will help business owners to increase their marketing effectiveness and achieve their business goals

This research aims to determine efforts to overcome the spread of pornographic content on social media. This research is empirical research because it places primary data in the community as the main data that will be analyzed qualitatively. The research results show that efforts to overcome the spread of pornographic content on social media are carried out by providing guidance and counseling regarding the dangers and sanctions for spreading pornography in society, especially for students; Conduct dialogue both directly and via radio and other mass media. Apart from that, dialogue is also carried out with the wider community through community-based field activities, such as programs held for the community by the police, for example when the police are asked to provide a welcome and guidance to the community when there is an agenda in the sub-district and village; Carry out raid operations and process legally, namely the police, especially the Bone Bolango Police, carry out raids and operations at entertainment venues, hotels and accommodation, especially in boarding houses which may be used as immoral places. If found, the police will summon immoral perpetrators, including those who make pornographic videos and take legal action; and Providing protection for victims, by first receiving complaint reports, then collaborating with related parties to fulfill the victims' rights.

Online gender-based violence against women is a social phenomenon that is increasingly common. Online gender-based violence against women takes advantage of technological developments and the use of social media. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of women's lives in the shadow of the phenomenon of online gender-based violence. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive approach involving female students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta, academic year 2019 – 2020 as respondents. The method for determining respondents in this research is non-probability sampling - purposive. If we look at the current situation, gender-based violence has occurred in all walks of life, such as household life, society and in the political arena. Based on the grouping of types of platforms that are popularly used and have a high potential for online gender-based violence, namely Whatsapp and Instagram. If we look at the respondents' understanding of online gender-based violence, there are still respondents who do not really understand this social phenomenon. The most common cause of gender-based violence against women is low tolerance towards the opposite sex and knowledge about gender equality. This online gender-based violence has a broad impact, equivalent to the impact of gender-based violence that occurs conventionally, victims will experience emotional, psychological and social losses.

The community service activity entitled "Use of social media as a means of communication, information, documentation and promotion in the Blessings of Faith herbal drink business" aims to implement the university's tridharma, namely Community Service. The purpose of this activity is to provide information regarding the use of social media Instagram for small businesses and provide training on the use of Instagram so that its use can later be implemented in marketing activities for the red blessing red ginger business. The method used in this activity is direct observation of the Red Blessings Faithful ginger business by conducting direct interviews and documenting product photos and product manufacture which are then uploaded to Instagram media. The final result of this service is the use of social media Instagram as a medium for communication, information, documentation and means of promoting each product produced and activities discussed by the Ginger Berkah Setia business unit including images and supporting information

The fundamental problem is when awareness has been reduced by social media activities which take away that awareness. As a result, awareness experiences alienation and falls into a hole that is shackled on social media. The aim of this research is to awaken reduced consciousness so that it can be responsible for existential freedom; and take responsibility for others. In this research, researchers used a literature study method which was then compiled into a written framework. Applicatively, when you realize freedom, then act on the basis of awareness, then the action will be realized on the basis of awareness. On the contrary, consciousness that has been reduced tends to polarize which reduces consciousness, so that awareness is not maximized in being responsible for one's free will.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) need to compete effectively in the market in terms of increased capacity to adapt to the dynamic business environment. MSMEs need to respond promptly to evolving market trends, technological advances, and changing consumer preferences. However, not all MSMEs have made the necessary adaptations in order to thrive in a dynamic business environment. This community service focuses on Mie Ayam Mas Nok, an MSME that faces specific challenges, especially the lack of social media utilization and the absence of a distinctive business logo. To overcome these problems, community service activities were carried out by providing targeted assistance to MSMEs Mie Ayam Mas Nok. This service activity aims to empower them through effective utilization of social media platforms and the creation of unique business logos, thereby increasing their competitiveness in a dynamic business environment. Using a combination of observation, interviews, and surveys, this community service initiative yielded positive results. MSMEs Mie Ayam Mas Nok successfully integrated social media into their business strategy and obtained a distinctive business logo. These improvements have significantly increased the competitiveness of their businesses, equipping them to thrive in an ever-changing and competitive business environment.

Cemerlang Barbershop is one of the hair barber businesses in Batam City. The problem at Cemerlang Barbershop is that there is a decrease in the number of visitors and the names of partners are not yet widely known, so the focus and aim of this service is to help Cemerlang Barbershop’s problems through creating social media accounts in the form of Instagram and Tiktok as well as making business cards. The methods used are interview and observation methods. The results obtained are that promotions carried out on social media have proven to be helpful in making the name Cemerlang Barbershop better known and making it easier to reach the desired consumers. Then the business cards created also increased brand awareness and increased the number of visitors from previously 10 visitors coming to 20 visitors. So it can be concluded that this service activity was successful in helping the problems experienced by Cemerlang Barbershop partners.

Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi yang pesat menyebabkan munculnya berbagai model digital marketing, yang diharapkan memiliki dampak signifikan bagi perkembangan sebuah usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati sejauh mana pengaruh penerapan model digital marketing terhadap perkembangan peningkatan sebuah usaha. Studi kasus dilakukan pada bisnis kuliner Nyamm Ayam di Salatiga, yaitu sebuah bisnis yang melayani penjualan masakan ayam dengan berbagai kreasi dan menu pilihan dengan cita rasa nusantara. Penerapan digital marketing dalam penelitian ini dimulai dari tahap penentuan tujuan dan target audiens, pemilihan saluran digital dan perencanaan konten untuk meningkatkan brand awareness, pengembangan web dan Search Engine Optimization, penggunaan media sosial serta analisis dan pengukuran kinerja. Dari studi kasus yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan digital marketing memiliki dampak yang positif bagi peningkatan usaha, khususnya pada bisnis kuliner Nyamm Ayam di Salatiga.
