This study aims to synthesize the literature on cognitive bias in auditor decision-making from 2015–2025. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method guided by the PRISMA framework, 50 scientific articles were systematically analyzed. A multi-level analysis was conducted to identify dominant types of biases, their influencing factors at the individual, organizational, and institutional levels, and effective mitigation strategies. The findings reveal four primary cognitive biases: anchoring, confirmation, overconfidence, and availability bias. Factors influencing the emergence of these biases include auditor experience and professional skepticism (micro-level), time pressure and organizational culture (meso-level), as well as professional regulations and the adoption of technology like AI (macro-level), which gives rise to automation bias. Identified mitigation strategies include bias-awareness training, the use of decision support tools, and strengthening professional skepticism through a supportive organizational culture. This review provides a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of cognitive bias and offers practical implications for the development of training programs, professional policies, and audit system design in the digital era to enhance audit quality and objectivity.

Digital transformation in higher education demands the sustainable use of Learning Management Systems (LMS). However, most previous studies have predominantly focused on cognitive aspects such as perceived usefulness and user satisfaction, overlooking the motivational dimensions that drive long-term engagement. This study aims to explore how System-Provided Autonomy Support (S-PAS)—the degree of autonomy support embedded within the system—shapes users’ continuance intention to use LMS through psychological need satisfaction and autonomous motivation. Employing an exploratory qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), task-based observations, and critical discourse analysis of institutional policies and system micro-copies across several universities under the coordination of LLDIKTI Region IX Sultanbatara. Thematic analysis revealed that users’ experiences with LMS are influenced by five key dimensions of S-PAS: meaningful choice, rationale provision, non-controlling language, emotional validation, and informational feedback. When the system and policies offer flexibility, empathetic communication, and clear rationales behind instructions, users exhibit higher levels of autonomous motivation and stronger commitment to LMS continuance. Conversely, administrative rigidity, technostress, and opaque surveillance practices undermine psychological need satisfaction and weaken users’ continuance intention. The study extends the application of Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to educational technology by introducing S-PAS as a conceptual framework that bridges system design and user motivation. Practically, the findings offer strategic guidance for policymakers and developers to design LMS environments that are more autonomy-supportive, human-centered, and sustainable. Future research is encouraged to quantitatively validate the S-PAS model across diverse institutional and cultural contexts to enhance the generalizability and theoretical robustness of these findings.

This research explores the dual impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the academic writing experiences of English Literature students learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL). AI tools like ChatGPT, Grammarly, and QuillBot are commonly used for grammar correction and sentence construction. These tools are integrated into students' writing processes, providing valuable assistance in refining their written work. However, their psychological effects, particularly in terms of emotional and ethical implications, have not been sufficiently explored in previous research. This study employed a qualitative phenomenological approach, utilizing Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), to examine the experiences of ten final-year EFL students who actively use AI tools for academic writing. Through semi-structured interviews, the research identified three major themes: reduced technical stress, heightened dependency on AI tools, and ethical concerns about authorship. The findings suggest that while AI tools act as cognitive scaffolds, aiding students by improving fluency and reducing the burden of technical writing tasks, they also introduce psychological challenges. These challenges include increased dependency on the tools and concerns about the authenticity of their work, raising questions about academic integrity and self-efficacy. This study sheds light on the complex relationship between AI as an assistive technology and its potential to cause writing anxiety and dependency. By emphasizing both the positive and negative psychological impacts of AI, the study contributes to the growing body of literature on AI in education. It calls for the development of pedagogical frameworks that balance AI literacy, emotional resilience, and ethical considerations to ensure responsible and effective use of AI in academic contexts.

Aging is often accompanied by sleep problems that have a negative impact on the well-being of older adults, such as reducing their quality of daily life and triggering a higher risk of chronic diseases, depression, and cognitive decline. To address this issue, the physiotherapy team held an educational program at the Arjosari Village ILP in Malang City, which aimed to equip older adults with knowledge about the value of quality sleep. The material was delivered through simple brochures, two-way discussion sessions, and assessments through initial and final tests. A total of 15 people participated, and from the opening discussion, about 80 percent of them admitted to having frequent sleep disturbances. Before the event, a survey showed that their understanding was still minimal, especially regarding what healthy sleep is, the triggers of sleep disturbances, the benefits of good sleep, the signs of sleep disturbances, and steps to overcome them. After the counseling, there was a significant increase, with the level of understanding reaching more than 86 percent on all topics. These results prove that community-based educational approaches such as this are very effective as a means of empowerment and early prevention. Activities such as this should be made a routine to support the overall health of the elderly.

This study departs from the urgency of early childhood religious education as the foundation for shaping religious and moderate character. The lack of Qur’an learning facilities and qualified teachers in Karang Mulya Village has hindered children aged 6–10 years in mastering Qur’anic literacy skills, even though this stage is considered a golden period of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. To address this issue, the research employed a qualitative descriptive method combined with a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach, which allowed the teaching process to be linked with practical and contextual activities. Data were collected through direct observation, structured interviews with parents and teachers, and careful documentation of student progress. The analysis was carried out through systematic steps of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal significant improvements in children’s ability to recognize, read, and write hijaiyah letters, although variations remain, particularly in creativity and independence. Furthermore, Qur’anic literacy activities meaningfully contributed to strengthening the understanding of religious moderation values, such as national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and acceptance of local culture. In conclusion, student service activities through Qur’anic literacy not only enhanced technical skills but also functioned as an effective medium for building religious moderation foundations from an early age.

This research endeavors to scrutinize how keen students are on learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMKS Muhammadiyah 9 Medan. The impetus for this investigation arises from the noticeable lack of enthusiasm among students when they attend PAI lessons. These lessons are frequently seen as uninteresting, lacking variety, and less stimulating when compared to the vocational subjects they are studying. These circumstances create difficulties for PAI instructors, who must establish a learning environment that not only delivers content but also cultivates real motivation and a genuine passion in the students. A qualitative descriptive method was used for this study, and information was gathered through classroom observations, conversations with instructors and students, and surveys to gain insights into students' views on their educational experiences. The information was analyzed to pinpoint the internal and external elements that affect learning interest. The results show that the students' level of interest in learning is somewhere between moderate and low. Personal drive, study routines, and students' mental preparation are examples of internal variables, whereas teaching strategies, the use of educational resources, and the backing of the school setting and family are examples of external variables. The research emphasizes the necessity for teaching strategies that are relevant, diverse, engaging, and more in line with the requirements of the students, based on these findings. It is hoped that learning PAI will not only improve cognitive comprehension but will also raise awareness of the significance of Islamic principles in daily life.

This research aims to examine the dialectics of Islamic philosophers’ thought within the framework of Islamic philosophy of education, focusing on the ideas of Al-Farabi, Al-Ghazali, Ibn Sina, and Ibn Khaldun. The study is motivated by contemporary issues in Islamic education, which tends to emphasize cognitive and technical aspects while neglecting spiritual, moral, and social dimensions. In this context, the intellectual heritage of classical Islamic philosophers offers alternative paradigms that are more balanced, holistic, and future-oriented. The research applies a qualitative library-based design, employing philosophical hermeneutics to interpret primary texts and secondary literature. This method allows for a critical reading of the philosophers’ ideas, followed by a synthesis of their dialectical relationships. The findings reveal three major dialectics: rationality versus spirituality, represented by Al-Farabi and Al-Ghazali; individuality versus sociality, as reflected in Ibn Sina and Ibn Khaldun; and idealism versus realism, which bridges normative visions with historical realities. These dialectics do not end in opposition but generate an integrative framework for Islamic educational philosophy. The study concludes that Islamic education should be understood as a transformative process that unites intellect and heart, balances individual growth with social responsibility, and integrates ideal visions with empirical realities. The dialectics of Islamic philosophers therefore carry not only historical significance but also strategic relevance for developing Islamic curricula oriented toward nurturing the insan kamil and fostering a dignified civilization in the global era.

The spirituality of today’s church youth encounters multidimensional challenges, particularly the pervasive influence of digital culture, the gradual decline in interest toward spiritual disciplines, and the weakening of involvement in ecclesial ministry. Such dynamics often create a gap between theological knowledge and lived faith experiences. This Community Service (PkM) initiative was designed to respond to these issues by implementing an interactive model aimed at enhancing the spiritual understanding of the youth at GKSI Trimorejo Congregation. The model emphasizes participatory learning processes, in which youth are not merely passive recipients of teaching but active contributors to collective faith formation. The methodological framework consisted of three main stages: initial observation to identify needs and spiritual conditions; preparation of training modules contextualized with the congregation’s realities; and the implementation of interactive activities such as group discussions, thematic Bible studies, role-play, and collective reflection. Evaluation strategies integrated both quantitative and qualitative approaches, including pre-tests and post-tests to measure cognitive growth, alongside participatory interviews to capture experiential insights. The findings reveal a notable increase in youth comprehension of biblical principles, heightened enthusiasm and participation in church programs, and the establishment of a more cohesive spiritual learning community. Furthermore, the process encouraged a deeper sense of belonging and responsibility among the participants toward their ecclesial environment. In conclusion, the interactive model demonstrates significant effectiveness in fostering youth spirituality and may serve as a viable alternative strategy for churches encountering similar challenges within contemporary contexts of ministry.

The purpose of this study was to explore differences in students creative thinking abilities based on gender and domicile. The research method used was descriptive quantitative. Sampling used proportional random sampling technique at Public Junior High Schools in South Konawe Regency. The research instrument used a creative thinking test as primary data. The data analysis technique used the winsteps program with scalogram analysis. The results showed that female students tended to be superior in fluency, originality, and elaboration, both at very high and low levels of creative thinking ability, while male students showed superiority in flexibility. This difference can be influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors that play a role in cognitive development and creativity. In addition, differences in creative thinking abilities were also found based on domicile. Urban students are superior in several indicators at very high levels of creative thinking ability, but are more susceptible to decreased creativity at very low levels compared to rural students. Environmental factors such as access to educational resources, intellectual stimulation, and higher social support in urban areas play a role in this difference. Overall, these findings confirm that gender and domicile significantly influence students creative thinking abilities.
