Understanding professional ethics in the workplace is a crucial aspect for students in Vocational High Schools (SMK) to prepare themselves for entering the workforce. This ethics is not only related to technical skills but also encompasses attitudes, behavior, and the ability to interact professionally. One of the most critical aspects is interview etiquette, as a student’s success is often determined by how they behave and communicate during the interview. An interview is not just about answering questions, but also an opportunity to present a positive self-image. Therefore, students need to understand how to use appropriate body language, manage facial expressions, and answer questions confidently. To address this need, the community service team from the D-III English Language Study Program at Politeknik Negeri Madiun conducted an interview etiquette training at SMK Widjaya Ngoro, Jombang. The training was delivered through interactive discussions and hands-on practice. In the discussion session, students learned preparation strategies, interview etiquette, and follow-up actions after the interview. Furthermore, through simulations, students were able to practice communication skills, improve their attitudes, and build confidence. This activity proved to be beneficial as it enriched knowledge and provided practical experience that is relevant for facing job selection processes in the future.

Mental health stigma and low Mental Health Literacy (MHL) remain major challenges affecting the well-being of high school students, often preventing them from seeking professional help and contributing to psychological distress. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a school-based mental health literacy workshop in reducing stigma and enhancing students’ knowledge and social awareness. A quantitative experimental design with pre-test and post-test measurements was employed, involving high school students selected through purposive sampling. The intervention consisted of a face-to-face workshop covering basic mental health concepts, common adolescent disorders, strategies to seek professional support, and approaches to provide peer support. Data were collected using standardized attitudinal surveys and analyzed with paired t-tests. The results indicated a significant reduction in mental health stigma and a substantial increase in mental health knowledge. Additionally, students demonstrated improved understanding of mental health concepts, enhanced ability to recognize common disorders, greater awareness of help-seeking strategies, and increased empathy toward peers experiencing mental health challenges. These findings suggest that interactive workshops are effective in promoting both individual literacy and a supportive school environment. In conclusion, integrating mental health literacy programs into school curricula provides a sustainable strategy to reduce stigma, foster inclusive attitudes, and equip adolescents with the knowledge and social skills necessary for improved mental well-being.

This study investigates the impact of Islamic education on promoting environmental awareness and sustainable economic behavior among youth. As environmental issues continue to pose significant global challenges, fostering eco-conscious behavior among the younger generation is essential for ensuring long-term sustainability. Islamic education, with its emphasis on ethical responsibility, stewardship, and accountability as outlined in the Quran and Hadith, provides a unique framework for shaping pro-environmental attitudes and behaviors. This experimental study compares two groups of students: the treatment group exposed to green-Islamic content and the control group receiving general civic education. The research measures students' environmental awareness, knowledge of sustainability, and behavior before and after the intervention, using pre-test and post-test questionnaires, as well as qualitative interviews. The results indicate that the treatment group exhibited a significantly greater improvement in environmental awareness and sustainable behavior compared to the control group. These findings suggest that Islamic education, by integrating religious and ethical principles into environmental education, can effectively encourage sustainable behaviors such as resource conservation, waste management, and ethical consumption. The study highlights the importance of incorporating Islamic values into educational curricula as a means to foster a more environmentally responsible generation. Additionally, the research emphasizes the need for further studies to explore the long-term effects of eco-conscious Islamic education across different cultural and educational contexts. The results of this study contribute to the growing body of knowledge on the role of religious education in addressing global environmental challenges and promoting sustainable development.

Active learning strategies are considered one of the most effective approaches in creating meaningful, participatory learning processes that enhance students’ intrinsic motivation. In the context of Fiqh learning, the implementation of active learning strategies plays a crucial role because Fiqh not only requires cognitive understanding but also involves strengthening attitudes and internalizing religious values. Traditional teacher-centered learning methods often lead to passive participation, boredom, and a lack of motivation among students. Therefore, the use of active learning strategies—such as group discussions, simulations, problem-solving activities, and experiential learning—can encourage students to participate more actively, think critically, and develop a stronger motivation to achieve better learning outcomes. This study aims to describe how active learning strategies can improve students’ motivation in Fiqh subjects. The analysis shows that engaging students directly in learning activities increases their attention, interest, and sense of responsibility in understanding the material. Additionally, two-way interactions between teachers and students create a more dynamic and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Thus, active learning strategies serve as a relevant and effective approach to enhancing learning motivation and improving the overall quality of Fiqh education.

At the junior high school level (SMP), students begin to recognize the importance of values of togetherness in diversity. However, this understanding does not always run smoothly because of cultural and background differences that can affect the way students interact with each other. This study uses a descriptive approach. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' attitudes towards ethnic diversity in class VIII of a private junior high school. Data collected through questionnaires will be analyzed to obtain an overview of students' attitudes towards diversity related to the topic and objectives of the research applied. The results of the study showed that there were no significant differences in attitudes between students with different ethnic backgrounds. This means that positive attitudes towards ethnic diversity are evenly distributed among various ethnic backgrounds, indicating that ethnic factors are not a barrier to social interaction in the classroom, where most students have similar views on the importance of respecting differences and working together with friends from different ethnic groups.
