Medokan Ayu Village is 3 km from the UPN "Veteran" East Java campus. The location of this service is located in Griya Amerta Housing RW 15, Medokan Ayu Village. Like housing in general, residential land area is usually relatively small, has relatively narrow yards and the distance between houses is also close to each other. So that the area of the yard owned by the community for cultivating crops while developing agriculture is not very supportive. Verticulture or what can be called vertical farming is a system of cultivating plants vertically, so that the planting medium is put in a container that stands and rises up. This cultivation technique can be used in two ways, namely with water and soil as the planting medium. Pakcoy can be harvested when it is 40-50 days old, while curly lettuce can be harvested when it is 40-60 days old. This verticulture cultivation uses a mixture of several planting media such as soil, cocopeat, roasted husks, and kohe. The goal is for the plants to meet their nutritional needs and nutrients, so that the plants can grow optimally and have good quality.

Machine maintenance must be carried out as a support for the reliability of a machine so that the production system can run smoothly to meet production needs. The fundamental problem of this study is in PT XYZ with the Roll Table 5Q machine, which frequently experiences sudden damage caused by critical components. The goal of the study was to determine the maintenance time interval of the 5Q Roll Table machine, the optimal age of the machine, and the number of mechanics based on the minimum total maintenance cost in an effort to improve the reliability of the machine using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II methods and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) methods. From the results of research for critical components As Roll Table obtained interval value of 331 hours / 13 days once a year with the selection of action is Scheduled restoration task and for Bearing components obtained interval value of 109 hours/5 days once a year with the selection of action is Scheduled on-condition task. From the calculation of the total life cycle cost of Rp. 3,720,459,386 with the optimal number of mechanics on the Roll Table machine as many as 3 mechanics with an efficiency level of 9.63% with an optimal age for the Roll Table machine 5Q is 12 years.

CV XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing with production in the form of stacking chairs. This company has a production capacity of 200 units of stacking chairs every day. The company has 3 types of bunk chairs, namely CH-100 KR, CH-200 KR, and CH-200 PC. Customer demand at this company tends to be fluctuating (up and down) which results in the company experiencing difficulties in determining the optimal raw material inventory to meet customer needs. The Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method is an appropriate method for scheduling inventory. The result of this scheduling model is in the form of a master production schedule (JIP) which is used to determine the demand for chair products for the next 6 months. The results of data processing obtained requests for stacking chairs in the next 6 months for the type CH-100 KR 10.724 unit, CH-200 KR of 10.998 unit, and CH-200 PC of 9.687 unit. The demand is then calculated using the MRP approach with LFL and EOQ. An effective material requirements planning method with the lowest cost is to use the Lot For Lot (LFL) method which gives the lowest cost results IDR 7,475,617,611.

Traffic problems are problems faced by developed countries as well as developing countries like Indonesia. However, in Indonesia, the problems that are often encountered nowadays are becoming more severe and bigger than in previous years, including accidents, congestion and air pollution as well as traffic violations. There are at least three factors that influence traffic law enforcement, namely: Judicial Factors, Law Enforcement Factors and Community Legal Culture Factors. In order for the law to have an influence on attitudes or behavior, certain conditions are required, namely: the law must be communicated; position to behave, meaning the things that motivate people to behave in a certain way. Fines alone are not effective in building a culture of safe driving. The government needs to make legal breakthroughs, both in the legal drafting aspect and the system that regulates implementation in the field.

The effort was made by farmers to meet the needs of the community, but still in limited quantities. From the results of interviews with farmers in Papungan village, they complained a lot because the rice crop was still relatively low, due to the scarcity and high price of fertilizers. By making PGPR (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteri) organic nutrients, it is a consortium of bacteria that actively colonize plant roots which play an important role in increasing plant growth, crop yields and land fertility. This study aims to optimize the profitability of rice farming in Pappungan Village. The results of the profit optimization calculation using the Goal Programming method. This study uses primary and secondary dta, and the purpose of this study aims to solve the problem of limited resources optimally with the Goal Programming method. Based on the results of the discussion of calculations using the goal programming method, the conclusion of the optimization of rice crops and applied using LINGO software, obtained optimal results, namely Z = 424.7647 with three goals achieved, among others, the production yield reached 27,640 Kg and the selling price of rice crop production reached Rp 18,000 / Kg with production costs required for rice crop production for per hectare of Rp 61,980,000. For the results of the goal achieved (goal) optimization of crop patterns, Papungan Village farmers are recommended to plant type B rice.

PT. Z is one of the companies that produces steel plates located in Surabaya, East Java. Production process at PT. The Z fully uses machines that operate 24 hours a day. The bottleneck in the steel plate production process is that there are often breakdowns caused by people, machines, and materials. In the engine factor, there is often a machine breakdown that makes production stop. The smooth running of the production process is disrupted due to damage to the production machine. High downtime often occurs due to repairs and replacement of components in certain machine parts. Therefore the machine needs maintenance / maintenance (maintenance). Among all production machines, rolling mill machines are the machines with the highest downtime rates. The components in the rolling mill machine that cause the highest downtime of 12,851 minutes are roll components. This study intends to make a scheduling plan for roll replacement on rolling mill machines. The methodology used in this study is Preventive Maintenance by calculating its reliability and making a schedule for replacing and maintaining the machine. The results showed that the average roll replacement every 6 days with 63.21% reliability, and the average roll replacement process time was 131 minutes.
