Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning can serve as a tool for students to acquire knowledge. However, the understanding and use of AI in education still face various challenges. Some universities have started integrating AI learning into their curricula, but its implementation remains limited and uneven across different institutions. Additionally, the level of AI literacy among students in Indonesia is still relatively low. Adequate AI literacy is crucial for students to optimize the use of this technology without excessive dependence and to understand its ethical implications.This research aims to assess students' understanding of AI literacy and explore how AI literacy education can be integrated with the European model. A mixed-method approach is used in this study, combining quantitative research through questionnaires and qualitative research through interviews. The results indicate that students in Indonesia have a fairly good understanding of AI literacy. However, several challenges remain, including students' dependence on AI and ethical issues related to its use.Therefore, collaboration among various stakeholders, including universities, the government, and industry, is essential to enhance students' AI literacy skills. Efforts can include training programs, providing access to AI resources, and adopting AI-based learning models that have been implemented in Europe. Through these measures, it is expected that students' AI literacy will improve, supporting the advancement of technology-based education in Indonesia.

Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) play a critical role in modern medical services by improving patient data management, clinical decision-making, and overall healthcare efficiency. However, existing HIS models face challenges related to interoperability, security, and processing efficiency. This study conducts a systematic literature review to evaluate cloud-based, blockchain-enhanced, and AI-driven HIS solutions. The proposed hybrid HIS model integrates AI-driven decision-making with blockchain-based security to enhance accuracy, interoperability, and data protection. The evaluation metrics include accuracy, latency, and security score, comparing the proposed system with state-of-the-art HIS implementations. Experimental results indicate that the hybrid HIS model achieves 93.4% accuracy, a security score of 0.90, and reduced latency (220 ms), outperforming traditional cloud-based and standalone blockchain solutions. These findings demonstrate that a hybrid approach balances efficiency and security, making HIS more practical for real-world applications. Future research should focus on real-world deployment, computational cost reduction, and regulatory compliance.

Academic literacy is one of the main factors in improving the quality of college graduates. Developed countries have implemented various strategies to improve literacy levels in higher education environments in order to create competitive graduates who are ready to face global challenges. This article aims to analyze policies and implementation of strategies to improve academic literacy in universities in developed countries. Using a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study found that technology integration, research-based learning, improving criteria, and providing supporting facilities such as digital libraries and academic literacy training are effective steps in improving student literacy. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for higher education institutions in developing countries in designing policies to improve academic literacy

This study aims to examine the implementation of a differentiated learning model in improving maritime English language competency among maritime college students in Indonesia. The background of this study is based on the maritime world's need for graduates with good English language competency, especially in professional and technical contexts. The approach used was a mixed method, namely a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods within a classroom action research framework implemented over two learning cycles. Data were collected through English language competency tests, observations, and in-depth interviews. The results showed a significant increase in all aspects of maritime English competency. The highest increase occurred in speaking skills at 44.38%, while the lowest increase was in maritime vocabulary comprehension at 30.25%. After the implementation of the differentiated learning model, 78.33% of students were in the "Good" and "Very Good" competency categories. Although in the initial stages of implementation there were challenges in students' adaptation to learning methods that differ from conventional learning, these obstacles were successfully overcome through a project-based learning strategy. This strategy is considered the most effective because it is able to provide an authentic context and approximate the real conditions in the maritime workplace. Thus, it can be concluded that the differentiated learning model has proven effective in improving students' maritime English language competency. This study recommends the broader implementation of similar models in English language learning programs at maritime institutions.

The need for an efficient system to manage academic works in digital format is growing in universities, including at Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU). Despite previous developments in digital repository systems, many academic institutions, including UINSU, still face challenges related to data management, security, and accessibility. This study aims to develop a web-based repository system for UINSU using the Waterfall method, to improve the storage, management, and accessibility of academic resources. A structured quantitative approach was adopted, focusing on the development and implementation of the repository system. The Waterfall methodology was chosen due to its step-by-step approach, ensuring a thorough and organized development process. The implementation of the system resulted in an organized, user-friendly platform where students, faculty, and staff can upload, manage, and access academic documents efficiently. The system features a clear interface for searching, uploading, and managing documents, with administrative controls for approving and maintaining submissions. The repository system significantly improves data management at UINSU, providing a long-term solution for archiving academic work. Continuous evaluation and system upgrades are essential to ensure it adapts to future needs and technological advancements.

Background: Leg oedema is a common condition experienced by pregnant women, particularly during the third trimester, due to physiological changes such as increased blood volume and pressure on the lower extremities. This condition can cause discomfort, reduce mobility, and affect the quality of life of pregnant women. Pregnancy exercises are recommended as a non-pharmacological intervention to improve circulation, reduce fluid accumulation in the legs, and prevent or minimize oedema. Despite these recommendations, many pregnant women do not perform exercises regularly, and limited evidence is available regarding the effectiveness of structured pregnancy exercise programs in reducing leg oedema. Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between the implementation of pregnancy exercises and the reduction of leg oedema in pregnant women in the third trimester at the Margasari Community Health Center. Methods: A quantitative pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted. The sample consisted of 30 pregnant women in their third trimester experiencing leg oedema, selected using purposive sampling. The participants were guided to perform structured pregnancy exercises over a designated period, and the degree of leg oedema was assessed before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to determine the effect of pregnancy exercises on leg oedema. Results: The Wilcoxon test indicated a statistically significant reduction in leg oedema following the implementation of pregnancy exercises, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This demonstrates that the intervention was effective in reducing fluid accumulation in the legs of pregnant women. Conclusion: Pregnancy exercises are effective in reducing leg oedema in women during the third trimester. Regular implementation of these exercises can improve maternal comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life

This study explores the implementation of Computational Thinking (CT) in physics learning to enhance students' analytical and logical reasoning. Using an experimental approach with a problem-solving model, the research involved students enrolled in physics courses, divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group engaged in simulation-based and algorithmic problem-solving tasks, while the control group received conventional instruction. The research focused on assessing improvements in logical reasoning through pre- and post-tests. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively, comparing the pre-test and post-test results of both groups. Findings revealed that the experimental group showed a significant 31% improvement in logical reasoning skills, while the control group demonstrated a modest 5.8% improvement. This indicates that CT-based activities, such as simulations and algorithmic tasks, are more effective in enhancing students' analytical and problem-solving abilities compared to traditional methods. The study highlights the importance of integrating CT into physics education, as it promotes deeper cognitive engagement, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills. These findings suggest that CT strategies can be a powerful tool in improving students' reasoning abilities and better preparing them for complex scientific and real-world challenges.

This research examines life insurance consumer rights and protection in Indonesia, given the growth of the industry and the complexity of insurance products. The background of the research highlights the gap between regulation and consumer protection practices. The research objective is to analyze the effectiveness of regulations and their implementation. The research method used is normative-empirical juridical, with analysis of laws and regulations and case studies. The research findings show that although the regulations are comprehensive (Law No. 8/1999, Law No. 40/2014, POJK), their implementation still faces obstacles, such as lack of information transparency, harmful standard clauses, and suboptimal supervision. The implication of this research is the need to strengthen regulations, consumer education, and increase the effectiveness of dispute resolution mechanisms to increase consumer confidence in the life insurance industry.

Health service management has an important role in managing resources effectively and efficiently, dealing with the dynamics of community needs, and ensuring quality health services through a systematic and humanistic approach. However, there are still shortcomings in the availability of adequate resources and managerial skills of implementing officers in service units that do not meet the standards. This study aims to analyze the direct impact of health management on accessibility, quality, effectiveness, and policy-making in health services.This study uses a literature review method with data sources obtained from Google Scholar, National Library e-Resources, and Garuda Portal. The research data was taken from 2015-2025. Based on the literature review, effective health management includes strategic planning, strengthening internal management, managing human resources, community involvement, and utilizing technology. The implementation of health management is proven to improve the competence of health workers, accelerate service processes, and increase patient satisfaction. In addition, good health management also encourages the expansion of health facility distribution, maintains the availability of drugs and medical devices, and improves the quality of infrastructure. However, there are challenges that need to be overcome, such as limited human resources and challenges in implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in various healthcare facilities. The review shows that health management positively impacts accessibility, service quality, effectiveness, and evidence-based policymaking. Many students find it difficult to connect abstract mathematical concepts with real-world applications, leading to limited problem-solving and modeling skills. This study aimed to develop a real-world problem-based mathematics module designed to enhance students’ mathematical modeling abilities. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D model Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate the research involved secondary school students enrolled in mathematics classes. The Define stage identified learning difficulties and needs, while the Design and Develop stages focused on creating, validating, and refining a contextual mathematics module based on expert feedback. Quantitative data were collected through expert validation sheets, mathematical modeling tests, and student response questionnaires. The results demonstrated that the developed module achieved a high level of content and design validity, confirming its appropriateness for classroom use. Student responses indicated strong practicality and engagement during implementation. The effectiveness analysis showed a 28% improvement in mathematical modeling skills after the intervention, as evidenced by increased post-test scores and positive student feedback. Compared to traditional textbook-based instruction, the module proved more effective in fostering conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and real-world application of mathematics. In conclusion, the developed real-world problem-based module successfully bridges the gap between theoretical mathematics and authentic contexts, providing an innovative framework to cultivate modeling competence and critical thinking among students.

Databases play an essential role in modern information systems because they enable the efficient storage, management, and retrieval of structured data. This study focuses on the implementation of a simple database using two relational database management systems (RDBMS), namely MySQL and PostgreSQL. The research stages are carried out through requirements analysis, designing entity-relationship diagrams, implementing tables and their relationships, and testing the system to assess functionality. The case study used is student data recording, where both RDBMSs are tested through a series of basic CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations. The results show that both MySQL and PostgreSQL are capable of carrying out these operations effectively while maintaining data integrity and consistency. However, PostgreSQL offers additional advantages due to its support for more complex data types, a better level of compliance with SQL standards, and advanced features that support the needs of large-scale application development. Conversely, MySQL remains superior in terms of ease of use and application to simpler needs, making it more practical for small projects or applications with standard workloads. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that both RDBMSs are equally suitable for use, but the ideal choice depends heavily on the context of the needs; PostgreSQL is more suitable for applications that demand high scalability and size, while MySQL remains relevant for lightweight and efficient implementations.

In the current digital era, SMEs in the culinary sector face challenges in adopting technology to improve operational efficiency. One solution to address this issue is the use of a simple and cost-effective QR Code-based application. This study aims to develop and implement siMenu, an application that provides table, order, and product management solutions without integrating complex digital payment systems. The method used is Project-Based Learning (PBL), which allows the development of technical skills while designing a sustainable business model through Business Model Canvas (BMC). The results show that siMenu successfully improved operational efficiency for SMEs, reduced ordering errors, and provided an easy-to-adopt solution with low implementation costs. However, challenges in application development and building user trust remain obstacles. The conclusion of this study is that simple digital solutions like siMenu can help SMEs in the culinary sector digitally transform and stay competitive in an increasingly evolving market.

Software testing is a crucial stage in the development of information systems to ensure that applications can function according to user needs. System feasibility testing using UAT is intended to ensure that the system meets the functional requirements specified by the users. This study aims to apply UAT to a financial and inventory management information system used to manage various operational needs of the company, such as inventory recording, expense and income reporting, and employee wages. The UAT process is conducted by the system’s end-users, consisting of 16 respondents, including employees and the owner of CV. Nitah Tirta Makassar. The testing methodology includes several stages: UAT planning, preparing test questions through a Google Forms (gforms) questionnaire, conducting the tests, and analyzing the test result calculations. The results of this study indicate that the financial and inventory management information system meets user needs, based on UAT questionnaire score calculations that achieved an average interpretation score above 87% with a "very good" rating. With the implementation of UAT, it can be concluded that the financial and inventory management information system meets the users' requirements.

Waste management is increasingly critical due to the rising waste generated by community activities driven by a consumptive lifestyle. A key solution to this issue is the implementation of waste bank programs, though community participation and operational efficiency remain challenges, as seen with the Bangkitku Waste Bank in Jambi City. This study focuses on designing the user interface for the Bangkitku Waste Bank Information System using the design thinking method and evaluating the usability of the prototype. The design process followed the five stages of design thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, with data collected through interviews and observations. The analysis involved tools such as empathy maps, user personas, sitemaps, and user flows, with prototypes created using Figma. Usability testing was conducted with 10 participants, including administrators and customers, resulting in high usability scores—98 for administrators and 97 for customers. The majority of participants found the system easy to use, as indicated by responses on the Single Ease Question (SEQ) survey. The prototype met key usability criteria, improving both operational efficiency and community engagement in waste bank management. The findings demonstrate the system's potential to foster sustainable environmental practices and enhance the effectiveness of waste bank management.

This research aims to address the challenges in sales data management and limited market reach faced by the Inegena Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in North Bajawa District, Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The BUMDes produces and sells candlenut oil, a superior local product, but currently uses a manual sales and recording system (B2B and B2C), which leads to fluctuating demand, difficulties in sales data analysis, and decision-making that lacks valid data. To address these issues, a web-based e-commerce system was implemented. This system was designed using Agile methods, involving planning, implementation, software testing (black box testing), documentation, deployment, and maintenance. Furthermore, the Naïve Bayes algorithm was applied to visualize sales data and support better decision-making by classifying best-selling products, popular payment methods, and sales levels. The results of this research are expected to assist Inegena BUMDes in improving sales efficiency, expanding the market reach of candlenut oil products nationally. This system uses supporting software such as Xampp, PHP, and MySQL.

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in developing adaptive learning strategies within the context of Islamic education in the Merdeka Belajar era. Adaptive learning, which considers students' differing characteristics, needs, and learning styles, is considered essential for enhancing the quality of Islamic education. Using a literature review approach, this research examines various literatures related to the implementation of adaptive learning strategies, teacher competencies, and their implications on student learning outcomes and character development. The findings show that the pedagogical, social, professional, and personal competencies of teachers are crucial to the success of adaptive learning. The application of this strategy also leads to increased motivation, active participation, and the development of students' character and spirituality in Islamic education. Adaptive learning creates an inclusive, responsive environment that focuses on students' needs, which in turn improves the overall quality of education.

The development of reading interest in early childhood plays a crucial role in shaping cognitive and language abilities. This research aims to explore teacher strategies in fostering reading interest among young children through the implementation of creative reading corners. This qualitative descriptive study was conducted in a kindergarten setting using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings show that teachers utilize various strategies such as thematic storytelling, interactive reading sessions, and personalized reading spaces to attract children's attention. The creative reading corner is designed with colorful visuals, age-appropriate books, and engaging media to stimulate curiosity. These efforts significantly contribute to increasing children’s enthusiasm for reading and enhancing their literacy skills. The implication of this study highlights the importance of teacher innovation in designing stimulating reading environments to develop lifelong reading habits from an early age.

Trauma healing programs for child victims of violence are crucial because they can help them recover physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Children who experience sexual violence are at risk of experiencing long-term trauma that impacts their mental and social development. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Trauma Healing Program for child victims of sexual violence, which was implemented by the Pekanbaru City Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Community Empowerment (DP3APM) in 2023. This study used a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews. Seven informants participated in this study: the Head of DP3APM, the Head of the UPT PPA, community members, and a psychiatrist. This study found that the trauma healing program encompasses three main stages. First, the security and stabilization stage (establishing safety), carried out by providing compassionate therapy and support to the victim's parents. Second, the remembering and grieving stage (remembering and grieving), carried out by gathering information from the victim and providing healing therapy to restore their mental state. Third, the connecting and integrating stage (reconnection), which helps victims accept their condition and return to normal life. For victims whose condition remains unstable, the healing program will continue. The main obstacle to implementing this program is budget constraints, particularly for logistical needs such as accommodation, food, and transportation. Despite this, the trauma healing program conducted by the Pekanbaru DP3APM has been well-implemented and has provided victims with a gradual and structured response and recovery effort. Background: The postpartum period is a critical phase for maternal health, as mothers are vulnerable to various complications that may lead to serious morbidity or mortality if not detected early. Self-warning knowledge regarding danger signs during the postpartum period plays an essential role in enabling mothers to recognize abnormal conditions and seek timely health care. However, limited knowledge and inadequate counseling remain common challenges in postpartum services. Structured postpartum counseling is expected to improve mothers’ understanding of self-warning signs and enhance early detection of complications. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of structured postpartum counseling on self-warning knowledge among postpartum mothers at the Ome Inpatient Health Center. Methods: This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 16 postpartum mothers selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using structured questionnaires to assess mothers’ knowledge of postpartum self-warning signs before and after receiving structured counseling. The counseling intervention was delivered using standardized educational materials. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test to determine the effectiveness of structured postpartum counseling on self-warning knowledge. Results: The results showed an increase in self-warning knowledge among postpartum mothers after receiving structured counseling. Statistical analysis using the Chi-square test indicated a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), demonstrating a statistically significant effect of structured postpartum counseling on improving postpartum mothers’ self-warning knowledge. Conclusion: Structured postpartum counseling is effective in enhancing self-warning knowledge among postpartum mothers. The implementation of structured and continuous counseling during the postpartum period is recommended to support early detection of complications and improve maternal health outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the SPIRIT model of problem-based biology learning (SSIPBL) on the respiratory system material at Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen High School in the 2024/2025 academic year and to determine whether this model can improve students' learning outcomes. The research type used is quantitative with an experimental design. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. Based on the t-test results, a significance value (sig.) of 0.198 was obtained, which is greater than the 0.05 value, indicating that there is no significant difference between the experimental group using the SSIPBL model and the control group using conventional learning methods. Factors affecting the ineffectiveness of this model's implementation include teacher readiness, limited time, lack of student involvement, and inadequate infrastructure. The results of this study show that the implementation of the SPIRIT SSIPBL model on the respiratory system material does not significantly improve students' learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended to improve supporting aspects, such as teacher training, better time management, and increasing student motivation and involvement in problem-based learning. Indicates that the implementation of the SPIRIT model of Socio-Scientific Problem-Based Learning (SSIPBL) can significantly improve students' learning outcomes on the respiratory system material senior High School for the. These results suggest that SSIPBL has the potential to enhance students' understanding through a problem-based approach that connects scientific phenomena with social issues, and its implementation in the field met expectations.
