This study highlights the crucial role of learning interest as a key determinant of success in the educational process. The research was conducted through interviews with teachers and direct observations in the learning environment, aiming to explore how various factors influence students’ interest, particularly in religious education. The findings indicate that teachers play an essential role by adopting creative approaches in their teaching methods. For instance, the integration of digital tools, such as instructional videos, was found to be highly effective in capturing students’ attention and enhancing their engagement during lessons. Furthermore, parental support emerged as a significant factor, as parents act as the first educators at home by instilling fundamental religious values and attitudes that shape students’ motivation. The results also suggest that a positive classroom atmosphere, where students feel appreciated and supported by their teachers, contributes to higher levels of interest and participation in religious studies. In addition, the study emphasizes the importance of differentiated instruction, where tasks are adjusted to match students’ abilities and learning needs. By connecting lesson materials with real-life experiences, teachers can further foster students’ intrinsic motivation, making learning more meaningful and relevant. Overall, the research demonstrates that cultivating interest in learning requires collaboration between teachers, parents, and supportive learning environments.

A sump is a water reservoir that functions to accommodate runoff water in the pit before the water is pumped. This study was conducted to determine the location plan and sump capacity based on the direction of mine progress and the actual estimation of runoff discharge that enters the pit at PT. Wahyu Murti Garuda Kencana, Central Kalimantan. There is a water problem that interferes with production activities because the actual sump dimensions are insufficient to accommodate the daily discharge of water that enters the sump. So that the impact on the mining front is flooded or there is waterlogging that disrupts mining activities. The progress of the mine is directed towards the north of the sump so that the distance and dimensions of the actual sump are ineffective and unable to accommodate the incoming water discharge in accordance with the direction of the mine progress due to the mining location in the pit which is easily submerged by water. The drainage condition at PT. Wahyu Murti Garuda Kencana uses the mine dewatering method which is a method of removing water that flows into the mining sump using a pump. Theoretically, by conducting direct research on the sump area of PT. Wahyu Murti Garuda Kencana, the actual sump dimensions are insufficient to accommodate the water discharge that enters the pit. The design carried out pays attention to the mining plan so that the sump design to be designed can be applied in the field in accordance with the mine design. The shape of the sump designed is a trapezoidal shape with dimensions of 80 m x 70 m cross-section, 74 m x 64 m bottom section, depth of 4 m and 55 degree tilt angle and a total sump volume capacity of 20,672 m3.

Waste candlenut shells are one type of biomass that has significant potential to be developed as an alternative energy source, particularly in the form of briquettes. Candlenut shells, which are typically discarded as agricultural waste, contain combustible material that can be transformed into solid fuel. However, the traditional briquette molding process is still done manually, which is time-consuming, inefficient, and often results in inconsistent briquette shapes and density. This study aims to design and develop a briquette molding machine specifically for processing candlenut shell waste, with the goal of improving both production efficiency and the quality of the briquettes produced. The research methodology includes several stages: mechanical design, selection of appropriate materials, fabrication of machine components, assembly, and performance testing of the machine. The resulting machine utilizes a screw conveyor compression system powered by a 5.5 HP petrol engine. It features a cylindrical mold with a 40 mm diameter to shape the briquettes uniformly. During the performance test, the machine demonstrated a maximum production capacity of 14.3 kg per hour, with an average processing time of 24 minutes and a briquette yield reaching up to 85%. The findings indicate that the machine can significantly streamline the briquette production process while maintaining product consistency and quality. This briquette molding machine is particularly suitable for household and small-scale industries aiming to utilize renewable energy sources and reduce dependency on fossil fuels. The use of this machine also supports environmental sustainability by converting agricultural waste into a usable energy product.

Climate change and air pollution are necessitating a transition towards sustainable transportation. However, the adoption rate of electric motorcycles in West Kalimantan remains low. This study aims to analyze the factors shaping the intention to adopt electric motorcycles in this region using an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. A quantitative method was employed, involving a survey of 200 respondents selected through purposive sampling, with the data analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a positive and significant influence on adoption intention. Notably, perceived ease of use emerged as the most dominant determinant, not only directly impacting intention but also indirectly influencing it through perceived usefulness. Among the external variables, compatibility was found to enhance perceived usefulness, while enjoyment positively affected perceived ease of use. Conversely, resource availability did not significantly shape initial perceptions. The implications of these findings suggest that stakeholders should prioritize strategic communication that highlights the ease of use, enjoyable riding experience, and functional benefits of electric motorcycles. These efforts should be supported by policies aimed at accelerating infrastructure development and providing incentives to encourage broader adoption.

This study explores the psychological analysis of the main character in John Wick (2014), emphasizing the emotional and motivational factors that drive his actions. By applying Bernhardt's psychological aspects and Kenney's conflict theory, the research investigates the protagonist's internal struggles alongside his external challenges. Key issues examined include grief, trauma, and the pursuit of justice, highlighting how these elements shape character development and influence the narrative's progression. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method and thorough film analysis, the study reveals that John Wick's journey transcends mere revenge; it represents a complex psychological quest for closure, identity, and moral reconciliation. The findings emphasize the significance of emotions, ethical dilemmas, and personal values in character-driven narratives, illustrating how internal conflicts affect external actions. This research adds to broader discussions on the psychological depth of cinematic characters and underscores the universal themes of loss and resilience. This study examines the role of BRICS—an intergovernmental organization consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa—in fostering global cooperation and contributing to world economic stability. BRICS was founded as a strategic response to the dominance of Western financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, which have long been criticized for their unequal representation and decision-making processes favoring developed economies. In this context, BRICS provides an alternative financial architecture through the creation of the New Development Bank (NDB) and the Contingent Reserve Arrangement (CRA), both of which serve as instruments to support development financing and ensure financial security for its members. Grounded in the frameworks of constructivism and soft power diplomacy, BRICS emphasizes the principles of equality, mutual respect, sustainable development, and South-South cooperation. These values are reflected in its policies and initiatives that prioritize inclusivity, fair participation, and collective growth, especially for developing nations often marginalized in the global economic order. By representing more than 40% of the world’s population and contributing approximately 23% of global GDP, BRICS demonstrates its capacity to shape the international system and establish a more balanced distribution of power and resources. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach based on secondary data, which is analyzed narratively to highlight the evolving dynamics of BRICS within the global economy. The findings indicate that BRICS has significant potential to challenge Western economic hegemony, enhance economic solidarity among emerging markets, and provide developing countries with greater opportunities for growth and cooperation. Ultimately, BRICS emerges not only as a counterweight to established global institutions but also as a transformative actor capable of reshaping the trajectory of international economic governance in the future.

Employing a quantitative ex post facto approach, data were collected from 316 teachers across public and private schools through structured questionnaires, classroom observations, and document analysis. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that SBM, principal supervision, transformational leadership, and work culture each have significant and positive impacts on teacher performance, with transformational leadership and work culture exerting the most substantial influence. The results demonstrate that 74% of the variance in teacher performance can be explained by these four organizational factors, underscoring their critical role in shaping pedagogical competence, classroom management, and professional development. The study further highlights the necessity for comprehensive managerial training, the integration of technology in supervisory practices, and the cultivation of collaborative and innovative work cultures. Practical recommendations include enhancing principal leadership capacity, fostering instructional supervision, and investing in digital infrastructure to support sustainable improvements in teacher performance. The findings contribute to the body of knowledge on educational management in Indonesia and offer actionable insights for policymakers, school leaders, and educators aiming to strengthen teacher effectiveness amidst ongoing educational reforms and digital transformation.

Social changes driven by globalization and advancements in digital technology have led to a shift in the values surrounding human sexuality, from being sacred to becoming increasingly liberal and permissive. This phenomenon has triggered an identity crisis, particularly among the younger generation. This study aims to explore the meaning of self-control as presented in Sirach 5:2 and to evaluate its relevance as an ethical and theological foundation in addressing the contemporary crisis of sexuality. The method employed is a literature study using a qualitative-theological approach and textual analysis of Sacred Scripture. The findings indicate that self-control in Sirach 5:2 is not merely the suppression of desire but an expression of moral and spiritual maturity grounded in wisdom and divine grace. In light of Christian ethics, this virtue shapes responsibility, chastity, and fidelity within human relationships. Thus, self-control becomes a fundamental basis for building personal integrity and a dignified direction of life amidst a permissive cultural current.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has increasingly shaped the digital transformation of higher education, particularly through its integration with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Features such as intelligent tutoring, predictive analytics, plagiarism detection, and automated grading are reshaping teaching and learning. However, questions remain regarding the readiness of higher education institutions and the acceptance among lecturers and students. This paper presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of studies published between 2020 and 2025, focusing on readiness and acceptance of AI in LMS. Guided by the PRISMA framework, 220 records were identified, 85 screened, 40 assessed for eligibility, and 20 included in the final analysis. Findings highlight that readiness is largely influenced by infrastructure, digital literacy, and institutional policy, while acceptance is shaped by perceived usefulness, ease of use, trust, and behavioural intention. Although challenges such as ethics, cost, and privacy concerns persist, opportunities exist in the form of personalized learning and intelligent decision-making. The review concludes that while AI adoption in LMS is progressing globally, developing contexts such as Malaysian polytechnics require further research and targeted interventions to enhance both readiness and acceptance.

This study examines the phenomenon of hoax news dissemination through the social media platform TikTok and its impact on Generation Z in Tanjung Pinang. The background of this research is based on the increasing intensity of TikTok usage among young people, making the platform not only a source of entertainment but also an alternative channel of information. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, using in-depth interviews with ten respondents selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that although most members of Generation Z are aware of hoaxes, their ability to verify information remains limited, making them easily influenced by provocative viral content. The most common hoaxes encountered are related to political, health, and social issues, which may lead to public unrest and shape public perception. This study highlights the importance of digital literacy as the main defense against the flood of information in the new media era, as well as the need for collaboration among government, educational institutions, and society to strengthen critical awareness in the use of social media.
