Vocational High Schools (SMK - Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) have become the largest contributor to unemployment figures, contrary to their intended purpose of preparing graduates for the workforce. This issue is attributed to a mismatch between the needs of the industry and the education provided by vocational schools. The aim of this research is to identify steps that should be taken to reduce the industry-school mismatch. The method employed involves biometric analysis using Vos Viewer, with data sourced from Google Scholar, including scientific articles in journals and in English. The results and findings of this research indicate that the mismatch is caused by a lack of synchronization between industrial advancements and the curriculum in vocational schools, students' lack of preparedness for the job market, and various supporting skills. This study suggests further investigation into industry-school mismatches based on specific fields of expertise in each vocational school. Consequently, in the future, vocational schools should no longer be the leading contributor to unemployment but rather contribute to the workforce in various fields within industries, aligning with the demands of the respective industries.

In the field of education, scientific writing skills are very important for both teachers who want to deliver lectures and students who want to complete their final assignments better. According to the rules that bind a student, conducting research for him is a must. Because of its importance, scientific papers must be made as good as possible, especially in terms of citations and references. In addition, most scientific papers are the result of students' own thoughts in addition to some other people's works that can be consulted further to ensure the quality of the work. Many students still complete their final assignments to date without being able to cite sources properly and correctly; instead, they do it automatically. It is hoped that by participating in this community service program, students in particular will be able to take advantage of training using Mendeley software to further maximize the quality of scientific work when citing all of their own scientific work, including theses. The objectives of this activity are to: (1) increase understanding of how to use Mendeley software, a citation application; (2) increase awareness of the benefits of using Mendeley; and (3) increase insight and talent in using more inventive and informative applications. Anesthesia practice in Indonesia faces challenges related to the implementation of professional standards and ethics as well as legal issues that often arise. This study aims to examine the implementation of professional standards and ethics in anesthesia practice in Indonesia today and to identify legal issues that often occur and how to resolve them. This study uses a normative legal research method by analyzing primary and secondary legal materials. The results of the study indicate that although there are guidelines and codes of ethics that regulate anesthesia practice, their implementation in the field still faces obstacles such as lack of understanding of health workers, excessive workload, lack of support from hospital management, and less than optimal supervision and sanctions. Legal issues that often arise include negligence in administering anesthesia, lack of informed consent, violations of the professional code of ethics, and problems in the doctor-patient relationship. Efforts that have been made to overcome these problems include improving education and training, improving standard operating procedures, strengthening supervision and sanction mechanisms, developing non-litigation dispute resolution channels, improving communication and doctor-patient relationships, and increasing support from hospital management. However, these efforts are still not fully optimal and require further evaluation and improvement. The importance of individual awareness of each anesthesiologist to comply with professional standards and ethics and strengthening ethics education are also key factors. Close collaboration between various related parties is needed to improve the quality of anesthesia practice in Indonesia while prioritizing patient safety and welfare.

This study examines the strengthening of regional disaster management governance through a risk-based policy framework, focusing on the role of local governments in disaster-prone areas. The object of the study is the disaster management system implemented by the Dumai City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), which faces various potential natural and non-natural disasters. Although national and regional regulatory frameworks are in place, disaster management practices at the regional level still tend to be reactive, partial, and not fully based on comprehensive risk analysis. Therefore, this study aims to identify key issues in regional disaster management governance and analyze the role of risk-based policies in strengthening institutional effectiveness, cross-sectoral coordination, and disaster preparedness. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with BPBD officials, relevant stakeholders, and community representatives in disaster-prone areas, supported by field observations and documentation studies of policies, disaster risk assessment documents, and institutional reports. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis methods to identify patterns related to governance structures, policy implementation, and disaster risk management practices. The study results indicate that disaster management governance in Dumai City has shown progress in regulatory aspects and emergency response capacity, but there are still weaknesses in the integration of risk into development planning, inter-agency coordination, community participation, and mitigation and prevention efforts. This study concludes that the implementation of a risk-based policy framework can encourage more anticipatory, integrated, and sustainable disaster management governance, and provides important implications for the formulation of public policy at the regional level.

The increasing complexity of modern software systems and the growing demand for real-time data processing have significantly contributed to higher energy consumption in computing infrastructures. This challenge is particularly evident in systems that rely on continuous monitoring, analytics, and adaptive decision-making. Addressing energy efficiency without compromising system performance has therefore become a critical concern in sustainable software engineering. This study proposes an energy-aware software approach that integrates real-time analytics with adaptive feedback mechanisms to optimize energy consumption while maintaining operational performance. The research adopts a design science oriented methodology, encompassing system design, implementation, and experimental evaluation. The proposed system architecture consists of real-time data acquisition, intelligent analytics, and an adaptive control layer based on the MAPE-K (Monitor, Analyze, Plan, Execute, Knowledge) feedback loop. Experimental evaluations were conducted under dynamic workload scenarios to compare the proposed adaptive system with a baseline non-adaptive system. Key performance indicators included energy consumption, response time, throughput, and adaptation latency. The results demonstrate that the proposed system achieves a substantial reduction in energy consumption while maintaining, and in some cases improving, system performance metrics. The adaptive feedback mechanism enables the system to respond effectively to workload fluctuations, reducing unnecessary energy usage during low-demand periods and ensuring stable performance during peak loads. These findings provide empirical evidence that real-time analytics and adaptive control can effectively support energy-efficient and sustainable software systems. This research contributes to the field of energy-aware software engineering by demonstrating that intelligent real-time adaptation is a viable strategy for achieving sustainability objectives in dynamic and performance-critical environments.

Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency is one of the districts which is an industrial area, especially in the field of processed marine products, such as petis, sardines and and others. There are also quite a lot of workers at UD in Muncar sub-district. The author is interested in conducting research at UD which is engaged in petis processing in Muncar District. The UDs referred to in this research are UD Dewi Sri Ayu, UD Kurnia Industri, and UD Tiga Bawang Putih. Petis companies in Muncar sub-district, Banyuwangi district are very vulnerable to work accidents. This is because to produce petis, high power machines are used and very sharp knives are used to cut fish and also to crush shrimp heads which are used as raw materials for making petis. K3 safety in carrying out this work is very important because considering the situation and conditions faced in the work environment, it is very prone to work accidents. Likewise, what happened at UD Kurnia Industri, the atmosphere and conditions were very uncomfortable because the production system carried out was not in accordance with standards, one of which was that there was no dampening of air pollution and heat because the tools used to cook petis were still very simple and traditional.
